I am so lost right now at how Daisy just suddenly decided to remove their titles like that. If she just removed the style of Highness like how how CG did, that would have been good, but they've been literally stuck with it their entire lives. I mean, Zelia, what would you do?

I agree, the timing of at least the announcement of the decision is the most puzzling part. I can think of a few possibilities why (none of which include abdication 🙃) but I don't really wanna speculate too much about that. But I think it's also important to remember that it wasn't a spur of the moment kind of decision considering how the discussions were initiated back in May.

I'm no fan of retroactively removing titles so I think I would've just let them keep them – although perhaps adding a remainder that future spouses and children would only be eligible to become counts and countesses of Monpezat 😬
