Now because of the fact that my adhd is suffocating me with having to draw the reason why this exists, im just gonna post it here;
G1 Transformers AU where it was not a 'good' thing to have Human/Mech bc of several severe problems. The Matrix looked at Bumblebee and Spike and said "Nah, I'm breaking my own rules" and kind of. 'redid' Spike in a way no one, not even Spike himself, could figure out until years later.
This had the side affect of both Bumblebee and Spike to be able to fuse, and thats how i got this!!-
(Photo dump)

Tumblr media
This fan fusion is loosely based off of Rhodonite from SU/Steven Universe if you couldnt tell.
TLdr:
Matrix: *Sees Bumblebee and Spike being a couple that knows what will happen eventually*
"Rules can't be broken from a leader that doesn't have exceptions, but you both are." *Proceeds to redo Spike's DNA*
"Happy couple!!"
this au will be called "G1 TF: Fusion Able Au" and ask anything abt them and give me scenerios with them por favor<33

A set of very conceptual notes I drafted a while back for someone asking for advice on learning to draw humans. I'm entirely self-taught so this is less of a tutorial and more of a very rambling set of general principles I follow and ideas that helped while I was learning. I figured I'd post it in case anyone else could get use out of it!
I also recommend checking out:
Drawing East Asian Faces by Chuwenjie
How to Think When you Draw (lots of good tutorials in this series)
Pose reference sites such as Adorkastock
Transcript and some elaboration under the cut:
Img 1 - Drawing a face
The two most important elements (at least for me) when drawing a face are the outline of the cheek/jaw and the nose*. I often start with a circle to indicate the round part of the skull, then add a straight like and a 'V' to one side [to create the side of the face and the jaw]. The nose creates an easy template for the rest of the face's features to follow (eyebrows at the top of the nose bridge, eyes towards the center of the bridge, ear lines up to eye) and the placement/direction and overlap with other features is a very simple way to indicate dimension. [A sketch of a face that has been adjusted by moving its parts to create 3 different angles. The following text is underneath:] -Different 3/4th views can be created just by adjusting the position of and amount of overlap between the facial features. - The top of the ear usually lines up with the corner of the eye. Think of how glasses are designed [specifically, how the arms run from the eyeline to the ear] [I go on a tangent in these next few paragraphs] *One thing I see many artists do - not just beginners - is learn how to draw A Person. As in, one singular person with one set of bodily proportions and one set of facial features. It's an issue that runs a bit deeper than 'same face syndrome' because sometimes these artists can draw more than one face, they're just not very representative of [the diversity present across] real people. Part of the reason I'm talking more about how to think about approaches to drawing - rather than showing specific how-to's - is because there is no one correct or right way to draw a person. The sooner you allow yourself to explore variety - fat people, old people, people of color, people with [conventionally] 'unattractive' features - the easier it'll be! Artists often draw their own features honestly and without [harmful] caricature, so it's always a good idea to look at art made by the kinds of people you're trying to draw if you're ever unsure about how to handle something. In general, it's far more important to learn how to interpret a variety of forms than to learn how to replicate the Platonic Ideal of the Human Body.
Img 2 - Stuff that helped me
Jumping into drawing humans (faces or otherwise) straight from photo reference can be overwhelming. The trick is to simplify forms into shapes - but even this concept is sort of abstract and it may be hard to know where to begin. Good news - Thousands of other artists have already figured it out. [When starting out] I needed to learn from photo reference AND artists I admired in order to improve. [When looking at stylization you are inspired by] ask yourself: WHY does this simplification work? How can I translate it into a different pose? Instead of copying what you see in a photo reference exactly, try to focus on the general forms first. My two biggest style inspirations for humans while learning to draw them were Steven Universe and Sabrina Cotugno's art. SU gets a lot of hate [in this instance I was specifically referring to a time on tumblr when the art was knocked for 'losing quality'] but its style does a great job of simplifying anatomy in a way that still portrays a diversity of bodies + features. [Extremely simplified drawings of Lapis, Steven, and Amethyst] SU characters are still identifiable- and still read as 'human' - even when reduced to just a few lines!
Img 3 - Things I keep in mind while drawing side profiles
- Eyebrows + eyes close to the 'edge' of the face - Forehead needs enough room for a brain - Eye is > shaped from the sides - Mouth kinda halfway [between the nose and the chin] but closer to the nose - Skin/fat exists under the jaw [and connects to the neck] - neck is about one half the width of the whole head - the back of the skull always sticks out a bit further than you might expect - Sometimes less is more - contours exist on every face, but drawing them in may make your character seem much older than they're supposed to be. However, it's a good idea to use them when you *want* your character to look old! These are very general notes- every face is different and has different proportions [and playing around with them creates unique and interesting character designs]

I’ve been thinking recently about how a key aspect of Steven Universe is that Steven is placed in the narrative position of what might normally be filled by a standard fantasy-hero-shounen-protagonist-guy, while EVERYTHING about Steven as a character is all about going in basically the exact OPPOSITE direction of that archetype. To the point where the one time he actually TRIES acting like some typical shounen-protag to solve his problems in Future, it’s presented as this gross, twisted perversion of his character that goes horribly, HORRIBLY wrong. Basically, the show makes it clear that Steven trying to act like your standard ‘cool, badass anime hero guy’ is very much a BAD and WRONG thing. Like in anime terms, Steven is essentially a Magical Girl placed in a position that was meant for a Shounen Hero. Or in a more specific reference building off of the show’s numerous references to Dragon Ball Z, Steven essentially represents a take on Gohan who’s kindness and pacifism are ultimately allowed to be presented and emphasized as a strength rather than a weakness.
Yet the flipside of all this is that even in their few appearances, has anyone else noticed that Stevonnie shows quite a few of these ‘cool, badass anime hero guy’ traits? They have a cool sword, they race cars, they fight space battles in a starfighter, they get badass fight scenes like getting to 1v1 Jasper and get to say cool one-liners. And the funny thing is, NONE of these are ever presented as somehow ‘wrong’ for the character. Heck, going off of the same references to Dragon Ball Z, Stevonnie has a bunch of design similarities to Future Trunks of all characters, one of THE iconic ‘cool, badass anime hero guys’.
And I think that’s really interesting.
Like in-universe, it says some interesting things about how Fusion works. That Steven himself trying to act like a cool, badass anime hero guy is a BAD thing because it leads him to start rejecting many of the core aspects of who he is as a person, namely his kindness and empathy.
Whereas Stevonnie is their OWN person, distinct from Steven and can exhibit these traits just fine because they clearly got them from Connie. They clearly haven’t abandoned or rejected any of the core aspects of Steven such as his kindness and empathy, they just ALSO have all this other stuff from Connie as well and can exhibit these traits without actually losing anything. They are after all, everything from Steven and Connie and more.
And narratively, I think it makes for a fun inversion. Steven represents this big subversive take on the typical fantasy hero archetype by being this young BOY with a big, heroic destiny who is defined by his kindness, empathy, emotions, a general disdain for solving problems through fighting and generally rejecting the typical ‘cool, badass, anime hero guy’ traits.
So it’s actually rather fitting that it is the non-binary, intersex, very-much-NOT-cisgender-male, fusion Stevonnie who ends up getting to do more traditional ‘cool, badass, anime hero guy’ stuff. Who in turn got much of those traits NOT from Steven, but from his best-friend/partner/girlfriend Connie.
And I just think that’s pretty cool, you know? Particularly when imagining a permafused Stevonnie. Like I think its fun to imagine an alternate take on the later seasons of the show, or just post-series, with a permafused Stevonnie doing more traditional anime-protagonist stuff that would otherwise feel out of place with Steven, but doesn’t feel out of place with them.
For example, Steven never went through any kind of big ‘training arc’ like so many anime heroes because that just doesn’t fit who he is. Steven is not a ‘fighter’, he always tries to talk things out before things turn to combat. So it makes sense that he wouldn’t directly pursue training to become a better fighter on his own.
But Connie DID. And of course that wasn’t presented in and of itself a bad thing. Which as an aside, is interesting for Steven as his joining was more to support Connie rather being presented as something he needed to do himself.
And speaking of fighting, this is another place where the differences between Steven and Connie make Stevonnie in turn all the more INTERESTING. Because whereas Steven isn’t a fighter, Connie very much IS. The symbolic sword to Steven’s shield.
Now where this gets interesting is that in practice, Connie generally follows Steven’s lead. We see a number of instances wherein Connie likely wants to or even is full-on about to launch into a fight, but backs down because Steven wants to talk things out. Connie may be a fighter, but she also generally defers to Steven.
But what happens when these two aspects are coexisting in the same person? What happens when Connie’s preference towards fighting isn’t deferring to Steven’s preference towards non-violence, but is rather exhibited right alongside it? And because of that is seen by Stevonnie as a much more valid option?
What does Stevonnie’s response to conflict look like when they’re much more of a fighter like Connie, while still retaining Steven’s intrinsic kindness and empathy?
Personally, I imagine Stevonnie actually being a fair bit like Ruby Rose, ie; someone who often tries to talk things out, while also not hesitating to jump into a fight if people aren’t willing to negotiate. Perhaps even reading the situation/people enough to get a preemptive strike off.
And all that is just one aspect of what I think makes Stevonnie so compelling as a character.

Autism Rizz Tournament
Rizz: Originally short for "Charisma", Rizz (for this tournament, at least) refers to the appeal, charm or general "ability to pull" a character has, either romantically and/or sexually. (The character doesn't necessarily need to be attracted to anyone to have rizz. If they can make others fall for them, it counts)
How to vote
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda
Candace Flynn (Phineas and Ferb)
She is so clearly autistic and she does pull Jeremy
Garnet (Steven Universe)
She is rizz personified. She managed to rizz Jamie up without even trying and then rejected him in the most autistic way ever. she has so many emotions but looks like ":l" most of the time. she thinks she knows what to do most of the time and gets really nervous when she doesn't "sorry, playing with swords. oh no, they are bleeding. they are dead. don't call again. sorry, I got nervous :/" She also tends to be really direct even when telling jokes ("danger is my middle name") "that's a lie. ....... your middle name is cutiepie", "all comedy is derived from fear." "I am much older than you."

Ok ima be specific about this zoro x a science/inventor reader where she used to nice and clumsy with her inventions and hang around zoro until he got mad at her after thriller bark when she was caring for her and then timeskip then once they get back he wonders why she doesn't talk to him and itll be like a steven and connie scenario where there a big party as the others try to make them talk again but take the wrong way until they forgive each other
Hi lovely, I haven't seen Steven Universe so I had to do some research and I'm hoping you were referring to Kevin's Party? hopefully so since that is what I found to pull inspiration from x This was also really fun to write, putting in little bits from various crew-mates POV so thank you for this request
The Banquet
SFW
Zoro x fem reader
Multiple crew POV
Warning: slight Thriller Bark spoilers, slight Sabaody spoilers, slight Fisherman Island spoilers, mentions of threats (usual Zoro/Sanji banter)
Summary: The crews reunion turned sour once you and Zoro shared the same space. There was obvious tension from when you last spoke, hindering on the bitter tone of his words to you. With the crew sick of the avoidance, Nami and Usopp lead a plan to have you reconnect at the King's Banquet, hopeful the uncomfortable avoidance will be resolved.
Word Count: 3,400
Tumblr media
"So you think this is going to work?"
"It has to" Nami insisted, turning her head in search of Usopp. She had strategically put a plan into place, sharing the news with everyone except for you or Zoro; giving the best chance of success. "If I have to watch them both ignore one another for one second longer I'm going to lose it! They can only sulk for so long before it gets under my skin!"
"I think it's making its way under everyone's skin; including theirs"
"Which is why this is going to work"
"Shh" Robin laughed, nudging her friend gently. "She's coming over"
———————
"Y/n" Robin waved, shuffling over to make space for you to sit down. You had gone in search of something to drink, the night still very occupied for the King's Banquet in celebration of your crews assistance to defend Fisherman Island. Along your way you kept a weary eye out for Zoro, shifting ignoring every green coloured object in your way.
"There you are... I thought I lost my way for a while trying to come back over here"
You gracefully sat beside your friend, huddling close as the music throbbed to your right. You held the glass in your hands, keeping it close to act as support, knowing the tension in the air that loomed over you. It was obvious since the crews return of the awkwardness between you and Zoro, almost deafening in a room full of obnoxious activities.
"Uh huh" Nami smiled, taking a sip from her wine. "That sounds like a certain person we know. Say, Y/n, have you had a chance to speak to Zoro tonight?"
You scoffed. "Absolutely not"
"Why not?" Robin question, her tone soft as usual. She didn't pry on such events, her usual kindness and concern for her friends making it easy to succumb to her questions.
"I don't particularly want to talk to him after what he said to me, and how he said it. I know he was hurt but there was still no excuse in how he put me down like that"
"What if he apologised?"
"Now we all know that thick headed idiot doesn't even know how to spell that word, let alone know how to make one"
"Y/n, answer the question"
You sighed, glancing quickly over in his direction, walled behind a few of your friends. You had always thought about it, approaching him first even just to get him to talk to you, but you never saw the point. How would he know he was in the wrong if he didn't initiate conversation first?
"I'm not sure" you looked back over to the girls. They shared the same hopeful face, smiling sweetly, making you feel safe in their company. "Maybe?"
"That's good enough for me..." Nami mumbled under her breath, covering her voice up as she took another sip, her attention shifting to Usopp.
———————
"Wait, what's the plan again?" Luffy scratched his head, tilting to one side.
"I already told you!" Usopp snapped, annoyed having to repeat himself for the sixth time in the last hour. "We get Zoro over to Y/n so they can talk it out and stop ignoring one another"
"Oh yeah!" Luffy laughed, "I remember now"
"Yeah, but for how long..." Usopp mumbled, noting Zoro as he sat in the corner; still from when you had all entered hours ago. He was occupied from the bottles of alcohol that surrounded him, clearly intoxicated by the way he moved, his eyes shutting in show motions.
Continuing his search, Usopp caught the eye of Nami, waving her down with a sly signal, letting her know the operation was in place. She returned the signal, turning back towards yourself and Robin to execute her end of the plan.
"Sanji?"
"Mmm?"
"You sure you want to be the one to do this?"
Sanji clapped his hands together, drunk on the thought of Nami. "Anything to please my sweet Nami-Swan!"
"Alright, sorry I asked..."
Usopp swiftly pushed Sanji into Zoro's direction, bracing himself for a clash to unfold. He was surprised when Sanji had volunteered to help, however, now understanding his willingness to help Nami, it became clear he would set aside his pride to be in her good book for a while.
———————
"Oi, Marimo"
"What the hell do you want, curly brow?" Zoro snapped, opening his eye. As he looked up it was if he had sobered up immediately, not wishing to be caught off guard by someone like Sanji.
Kicking the bottle aimlessly, Sanji ignored looking directly at Zoro, disgusted to be in his presence; but determined to obey Nami's wish. "I can't believe you're still just as drunk and useless as before. Or maybe I can, it is you after all... and I expect nothing but disgusting behaviour from you"
"What the hell did you say?"
"Oh, and you're deaf now too? A wonderful addition for the greatest swordsman you so wish to become"
"You better watch what you say stupid cook or the next thing that will be flying out of your mouth is those teeth"
Sanji laughed, amused by Zoro's attempt to sound tough; knowing he couldn't kick his ass if he was even sober. Lighting up a cigarette Sanji let room for a dramatic pause, building Zoro's anger all the more painful. He wanted to let him sweat, bath in his fury in a wish to escape, hoping the rest of his friends were sticking to their end of the plan; not screwing it up for his beloved navigator.
Taking a long drawn out puff, Sanji soothed the smoke around him, clouding Zoro's view. He was prepared to fight back if things turned sour, Zoro obvious to the script given, widening his stance just a bit more than usual.
"Not if I end up knocking you on your ass first, moss head"
———————
Looking up from your drink you noticed a comfortable laugh, meeting Luffy as he sat opposite you; Usopp sitting to his left. In one hand, Luffy had gathered a flowing bowl of food, unusual to the group as food services has ceased mere hours ago. They easily slid into conversation, Nami and Usopp counteracting off one another as usual; Luffy too busy with the food to chime in.
As Robin's eye slid from the group she noticed a commotion caused by Sanji, drifting her attention to where Zoro sat. She half nudged to you, although spoke loud enough for Luffy to hear.
"Zoro looks rather uncomfortable"
You followed her gaze, alongside Luffy, finding the tufts of green behind the stack of bottles and Sanji's tall figure. It was obvious the two were bickering - as usual - their body language intense and stubborn.
Amused by his friends, Luffy took a moment to finish eating, swallowing the chunk of meat wedged in his mouth. His body turned, already forgetting his mission but proceeding out of the goodness of his heart.
"Oi, Zoro!" Luffy called.
The group shifted their attention, looking over to where Zoro sat, apart from you, the grimace on his face a clear indicator of what everyone was looking for; a clear way for him to come over. Everyone around you exchanged a look, proud as Luffy waved his arms around, catching Zoro's attention.
All it took was Luffy's instructions, a simple obedience from the captains right hand man, and the plan would continue the smooth sailing in place.
"Come over here!"
———————
Intruded by the inviting idea of separation, Zoro quickly left from his spot. He ignored the wobble in his legs, grasping his swords tight as he shoved past Sanji, making his way over to where his captain sat.
From his angle there looked to be four of his friends, laughing and having a better time than what he was experiencing currently. He didn't mind if he had to listen to the nagging voice of Nami as she spoke, mindlessly chatting to Robin, who as usual, looked deep in thought. He would be happy to engage with Luffy when he could, making the top of his list for favourite people in a heartbeat, enjoying the pleasant conversation as he joked with Usopp.
As he crashed down into the circle he caught sight of something he hadn't noticed before, sitting to his left, hidden by the figures of his friends. A crushing stutter caught him in a choke, punching the air from his lungs. His heartbeat was horrifically loud, pounding in his ears, not expecting you to be here, so close to him; smelling so inviting.
"Y/n?"
———————
You could feel the group grow quiet, half expecting you to say something, surprised Zoro even spoke to you at all. It had been years since he attempted any form of conversation, the last time ending a lot differently than his current tone now.
"Hi?" you shrugged, looking away from him back to Robin, ignoring the blistering heat of embarrassment across your face.
Zoro grumbled something, half attempting to get up but remembered Sanji, looking over his shoulder as if to keep him in place. He refused to engage in any looming conversation, as much as they tried to include him, keeping to himself as he fidgeted, agitated of this current predicament.
He was trapped.
Once again Robin nudged you, laughing as you rolled your eyes at her now obvious attempt to get you to talk to Zoro. Her face continued to remain hopeful, even attempting to bring Zoro to join in; which he quickly rejected.
"Stop trying to make it happen..." you mumbled to her, leaning in close so nobody would overhear. "He is clearly not going to make things better between us so there is no point in trying to get us to talk"
Grinning innocently she took a sip from her wine. "I have no idea what you're talking about, Y/n"
"Robin, please!" you begged, hoping someone would back you up here. Everyone knew how much he hurt you, unable to hide your raw emotions after the fight, turning cold and almost frightened at his mere presence. And it stung, seeing all your friends ignorant to your feelings, pushing you to do something uncomfortable.
How come Zoro wasn't getting this treatment?
Why wasn't he being pushed to speak to you?
You stood up, unable to take any more of the growing intolerance between you and Zoro. If something was to happen moving forward you were not going to be the one to break first. "I'm going to grab another drink"
———————
Robin watched as you walked away, an added annoyance in your strut as you quickly chugged the remainder of your drink. She sighed, turning to Nami, afraid the plan was getting out of hand. "Nami..."
Nami held her finger up, stopping Robin from counting further, knowing what she was referring to. "I've got this"
She had noticed Zoro's dazed state, realising your disappearance may have unnoticed to him. Thinking quickly she drunk the remainder of her drink, pinching Robin's out of her hand, before finishing that as well.
"Oi, Zoro, go get us some more drinks" Nami extended her arm out in his direction, drinking glasses twisted through her fingers.
Zoro scoffed. "Why would I want to do that?"
"Because you would do anything to get some alcohol in that empty hand of yours, and I told you to" Nami pressed her lips into a thin line, handing her glass over to him. "Now go!"
———————
Mumbling under his breath, Zoro trudged back over to the drink table, slamming the glasses down. The table was still flowing with bottles of various alcohol and barrels of beer, which Zoro was sure to swipe of mug off on his quest.
As he fumbled around the bottles of wine he caught a whiff of you, transporting back to moments ago sat by your side. Actually, he never noticed you leave your spot. He wondered where you went, both as of now and after Sabaody. He missed you terribly, forcing his memory of you to be pushed to the back of his mind, too focused to worry about the addition of his friends. He missed everyone - even the presence of Sanji - but nothing hurt him as much as returning to silence.
Zoro missed your chatter, your laughter, having you accompany him with stupid experiments. He missed how you would annoy him with help, both to rest and to assist with various things in the name of science. He enjoyed your stories, babbling on with terms he didn't understand, but the joy in your eyes was enough to get him through.
He missed having you around.
He would do anything to have you back.
As his hand came over to the barrel, there was a slight touch, gentle and cautious, pulling away as soon as you both touched hands. The voice sung a swat apology, Zoro looking over to grunt at the person, annoyed of their close proximity.
Looking up he was quick to meet your eye, looking away just as fast, embarrassed he didn't see you there. Again.
It was a common theme for him tonight, almost overlooking you like a shadow without means. He was confused, hurt, but knew if something were to happen now would be the time to ask. He needed to know why you were ignoring him.
Maybe attempting to smooth things over wouldn't be so bad?
———————
"Beer, huh?"
"Hmm?" you stopped pouring, setting the mug down onto the table; grasping it firmly for comfort. You refused to look over in his direct, feeling his body do the same, unable to meet each other in an eye lock.
"I didn't think you drank that stuff"
"Well, there's a lot you don't know about me. A lot can change in two years, you know"
He went quiet to that, skipping a beat.
"You still... doing those experiments?"
You turned your body towards him, cocking an eyebrow at his attempt to small talk; wondering what your friends had said to him. Surely Nami had got to him, assuming Robin was too polite to be forceful and direct him your way.
"Is this your attempt to say sorry to me?"
"What?"
"Are you trying to apologise for your behaviour, Zoro? How you treated me? Or are just going to pretend like that never happened?"
"I-" Zoro fumbled, not entirely sure what to say. "What would I apologise for?"
Zoro could see his response hurt, your face dropping, a slight quiver in your lip. Your hand let go of the mug, balling at your side in rage, turning your knuckles a ghostly shade of white. An inconvenient swear parted your lips, furious he had the nerve to even say that to you.
How could he still be so blind and ignorant?
Brushing past him you made sure to hit him on the way, cementing your frustrations. It wasn't enough to let him mentally paint the picture anymore, waiting for some half-ass apology that had no value to his words; only to stop you behaving in such a sour way. It was tiring, exhausting, wondering if maybe you would come back to him the same as he always used to be, forgetting about how he treated you, resuming your friendship, or if he would take the plunge and own up to his mistake.
And unfortunately neither was an option.
Zoro's head followed you, looking over his shoulder as you walked away from him. There was a drop in his stomach, realising why exactly now you were ignoring him; hurt by his actions. But Zoro had no idea why. Until he remembered the fight.
Your face held a familiar look to how you looked before, back in Sabaody; back when he snapped at you. He could clearly remember the whimper and shake of your lip, almost frightened by how he raised his voice at you.
You were scared of him.
He made you retreat from him - afraid to get hurt again.
Swearing under his breath Zoro realised what he had done, realising there was a reason for your blunt behaviour that he hadn't thought about before. He was so blind to his own selfish goal over the two years it never occurred his actions had consequences on you; or anyone else for that matter.
Leaving the glasses on the table, Zoro followed you, struggling to keep up as you darted out of the banquet. He picked up to a steady jog, the only indicator of you the linger scent that curled his toes to think about. A wash of blame fell over him, never understanding why it took him this long to piece together what he did. He had time. 2 years. 2 years to think about everything but somehow this slipped his mind.
He hoped he could repair what he broke.
"Y/n, wait..."
Zoro continued to follow you outside, a deep hazy blue surrounding you as you stood by the doors of the palace. It was quiet, still, the loss of people still hoarding in the banquet giving an almost apocalyptic feel.
As he lunched to you, Zoro's hand gripped your arm stopping you in your tracks, the amount of force made you turn on your heels, allowing him to face you properly. "Is this why you've been avoiding me?"
You struggled to look up at him, knowing if you did you would cry. His grip was strong, although you knew it would be easy to break away from him if you wanted to, giving you the freedom to disappear again. He just wanted an answer.
"I wasn't trying to ignore you. I was going to speak to you... I thought about it, but it didn't make any sense. I wasn't making any sense. I thought, if we are going to talk then I need to get an apology; something sincere from you. And so I came back and I saw you and you said nothing, and any time we were together, you said nothing. And now we're here and you're still not saying anything to me"
Zoro continued to stay silent, hoping you would explain deeper.
"What you said to me back then, how you handled your emotions and lashed out at me for helping you, it wasn't fair. And now I don't know how to act around you and it isn't fair. I don't know how to feel. I'm angry. I miss you. I feel like I'm out of my mind!"
"No, you're not! I snapped at you when you were just trying to help me, care for me, and you didn't need me doing that to you. I was cruel. And I came back and tried to act like it was no big deal, but it was a big deal! I couldn't stand the thought of you not speaking to me ever again, but then I was also doing it to you! I made a promise to myself and it got in the way of how I treated you, and so I'm sorry! Nakamas?"
You smiled up at him, ignoring the stream of tears that clouded your vision. There was only thing you truely wanted when the crew reunited and now you had it, an apology, a genuine apology from Zoro.
"Nakamas"
Your arms flew around Zoro's middle, pulling yourself to him in an embrace, feeling his body stiffen at the contact. You were aware of his strict dismissal of affection, however you didn't care, leaning into the idea everything was okay between you two. And it was.
Zoro reciprocated the hug, keeping you close, his face leaning down to bury into the tuft go hair atop of your head. His body relaxed, engulfing you tighter into his body, pressing the smell of musk and steel against your skin.
He was happy. For the first time in a long time he was happy. It felt so good, so right to have you like this; speaking to him again. It was if the moment he snapped a part of him went missing, your presence dissolving from his life and also a part of him he wasn't sure he could ever get back. But here he was, completely whole, and he refused to let something like that come between you two again.
"I'm so glad I have you back, Y/n"

You could really tell Steven universe was inspired by revolutionary girl utena with the way Rose Quartz/Pink diamond. I don’t mean in a “these characters are completely one on one the same character” way, but like they have similar elements.
- they’re both god-like beings (the diamonds technically serve as both gods/rulers in Steven universe, while Anthy’s godhood is more vague)
- they’re both Rose-themed, but more flower themed in general (self-explanatory with the Rose quartz thing but also being with the flowers seen with rose. While the roses are more the symbols of everyone in utena, Anthy is specifically the rose bride. She also has a whole garden and her name is reference to the Greek goddess of flowers)
- both are abused by their familliar figures. (Pink diamond received different kinds of abuse with the diamonds, who act as her parental figures. Anthy, who faces a more extreme case of SA and abuse by her brother, literally being stabbed with millions of swords that represent humanity’s hatred)
- Both have a direct affect on the narrative and most, if not all characters (this more applies in the later seasons of Steven universe. The whole reason the duels exist in the first place is so that someone takes ownership of the rose bride)
-Both have other character’s project their own idealised versions onto themselves, and the audience can’t really guess their true intentions throughout the entirety of their story is really up to interpretation.(Rose is seen as a inspirational figure throughout Steven universe, most obviously in pearl’s entire character and how garnet is talked about and reacts when roses turns out to be pink diamond, though arguably justifiable. Utena, through both her ideology of being a prince, removes anthy of all her agency and inserts what SHE thinks anthy should do. )
-After abandoning their previous life, they are noticeably different from their original form. (Rose resembles more of a human in her base form. Anthy is, unfortunately, whitewashed but she now wears her hair down and has an entirely different dress.)
And I could go on.

also i think im increasingly starting to get really... not frustrated or angry PRECISELY with Protagonist Centered Morality, but it is becoming a lot more glaringly noticable to me when bad fandom takes, popular fanon that is antithetical to the characters or themes of the story they are from, and how it spreads in general.
To be clear, Protagonist Centered Morality (PCM) is the double standard of specific actions that are judged differently whether they're being down to the Characters You Care About, versus them happening to a neutral party or to an antagonist. As an example; AtLA fans who wanted the series to be more about heroic resistance and defeating all their enemies, complaining about Aang having a moral conflict over seemingly the only option being to kill Ozai (despite this being among one of the most grieveous crimes imaginable both to his people in series, and to the religion his character is inspired from) or presenting Jet as a morally gray character, arguing that any actions taken against the Fire Nation are automatically valid regardless of whether or not they target military at all (since his ACTUAL actions are just 'make the fire nation suffer no matter what' and targeting civilians, which doesn't accomplish anything from a strategic point of view).
The SU hatedom also provides an excellent example of this. There was, during the final episodes of the series, a great deal of people who wanted the series to end with humans victorious in a military conflict against the Gems by nuking Homeworld.
I want to repeat that. These fans wanted STEVEN UNIVERSE, the series about finding hearts in monsters and freeing them from oppressive systems of directive, and winning it by humans committing genocide. Apparently with no mental whiplash at all.
So PCM, in all its ugly forms, can be boiled down to this: "Its bad when you do it to us, but heroic when we do it to you."
This seems to share some similarities with a bunch of other troubling developments in fandom in general, which seems to follow cultural shifts in general. This includes the lionization of ruthlessness, and priorizing personal matters over larger moral issues or the Greater Good (however that applies in context).
Firstly, ruthlessness is often praised a lot. You get characters stated to be more effective because they're ruthless, don't hold punches or otherwise go for the kill at the first opportunity. You see fandom takes with people praising a character who kills without hesitation or any concern and is quite happy with themselves, never having a moment of guilt over it regardless of the scale. This is considered a positive, often in word choices implying that this is the ideal.
Secondly, personal being the most important thing. This is ESPECIALLY common in anti-Jedi rhetoric in Star Wars fandom, but you see it a lot in any case where characters are expected to place duty over personal ties; it is seen as inherently villainous to choose your duty or the good of others over the things personally of importance to you; a lot of the wording implies that these fans explicitly believe that its evil to not focus solely on the people you care about, or risking yourself for a stranger.
I believe this is also the source of the tendency to refer to any group that works well together or gets along as a found family, and saying it was found family bait when actually they worked together to do a job. The job gets done, and they move on. The idea that their togetherness is not more important to them to their personal agendas or that they have a family unrelated to the job seems unthinkable. So these fans interpret any kind of positive connection as the Most Important Thing, more so than what the characters may consider their duty.
i dunno, its just REALLY weird to me that a lot of thought I see around here implies that if you have, say, a protagonist discover that one of their friends is a traitor or has turned evil, its considered ideal for this protagonist to JOIN them; but if this protag just kills them without hesitation, or perhaps a brief comment about how they made an oath to take down tyrants like what their friend has become, it is considered reprehensible, despite otherwise falling in line with the ruthless vibe. It's just, i dunno, its weird to me.

Occult AU. Considering angel Mirabel has a spear and got blinded in one eye, I can't help but think of Vaggie from Hazbin Hotel. Also, how does being an angel work exactly? Does it work like a ghost or a zombie? Were her injuries healed? Can she still be hurt? Is the body she has now her original body reanimated or her spirit given form? Say I cut off a limb like her head could her body regenerate or be reattached? I mean, she's already dead. Sorry, I know that's a lot of questions, but Mirabel's angelic capabilities haven't been explored or explained at all and, unlike the other occults, there's not a lot of consistent mythos to go off of.
Coincidentally, I guess? I don’t follow/watch/support H*zbin H*tel because of the creator and all the shitty things they have done and continue to do. I don’t really know much about it. My only exposure to it is through the songs and a few scenes that were reposted by Stephanie because I follow her on social media.
Speaking of, what the fuck was up with the voice direction in that show? Beatriz is doing her usual Rosa Diaz” voice/character in all the scenes, but sings really high-pitched - which makes it insanely difficult for her alto voice to hit the high notes that are already out of her vocal range. It is a hard-listen and I can’t understand why they didn’t just change it. I hope she didn’t hurt her throat doing that because it sounds painful. Get this woman a cup of honey and lemon tea and a pay raise, please. Is the rest of the music in the show like that? Lmao.
Okay, side rant over. Let’s get back to the ask.
The blinded eye was something I came up with and I think I’ve used for a couple of other AU Miras at this point. The implied scar is always a reference to Stephanie’s eyebrow scar. The spear came later when deciding she needed a weapon to defend herself with. For that I was thinking of Pearl from Steven Universe - Garnet’s gauntlets and Amethyst’s whip didn’t really work with her character. Also, Pearl is smartass, so it all adds up.
Does it work like a ghost or zombie? No. She obviously isn’t invisible. She can interact with people - they can see, hear and touch her, and vice versa. And she isn’t a walking dead person either. In terms of a monster, just a winged or bird-like human/harpy.
Were her injuries healed? Her injuries aren’t healed as such, she is still blind in her eye and still has the scar. But it is definitely cleaner and ‘prettier’, if you will. The eye is just discoloured and there’s a scratch over the eyelid, whereas in life, it was a lot more horrifying.
Can she still be hurt? Technically speaking, yes. If she tripped, she would still bruise her knee. If she was stabbed, she would bleed. However, the damage isn’t permanent. Her body can heal itself - it takes time and energy to do so. She can’t be killed again and she can’t die from anything, but she can still be hurt and feel pain, it will just be brief and temporary.
Is the body she has now her original body reanimated or her spirit given form? It is her body, but she carries new traits and features. The most obvious being her wings. Probably has a few other bird-like features across the rest of her body - e.g. talons. I didn’t want her form to be too human, but she isn’t quite on the monster level as the rest of the characters either.
Say I cut off a limb like her head could her body regenerate or be reattached? Not Mirabel losing her head again 😂💀. As part of her body’s self-healing, you probably wouldn’t get that far. Her angelic body is a lot stronger and more resilient than a human body - the bones especially. Someone probably wouldn’t manage to cut off a limb. Skin (and also her feathers) isn’t as resilient, hence why she can still bruise and bleed.
Fair enough for the load of questions, interpretations of angels differ all the time. And there is never too many questions to spend me, I love answering them, so send as many as you would like!
If it helps, here are Mirabel’s abilities as an angel:
Self-healing, as previously mentioned
She can also heal others, she’ll probably only use it for Luisa though
Flight, may be a little obvious
Teleportation (to Heaven)
Enhanced sight for her remaining eye, so her nearsightedness isn’t a thing
Night-vision, girl is an owl
A lot of power in vision (because of the eyes in biblically accurate angels), she can see everything that is happening at will which is how she caught Isabela and Dolores breaking in so quickly

Now, I'm an xkcd fan and I have been for a while. I spent many a happy hour after school playing xkcd Hoverboard and I found what I'm pretty sure is all the hidden areas in that game. Including the giant spaceship above the smaller spaceship in the air above the secret area to the right. Including the area in the upper left of the spaceship just below the big circular chamber with the people fencing on ostriches in which Darth Vader is explaining what I have only realised in retrospect was Steven Universe.
Enter xkcd Escape Speed.
... I may have spent unreasonable amounts of time playing this one. Probably not Hoverboard unreasonable amounts of time, but these days I have responsibilities. Escape Speed is a much larger game than Hoverboard, with a lot more mechanics. It takes one a while to figure out the Boston thing and find all the upgrades. Navigation is a lot more difficult when direction is all relative. Nonetheless! It's fun, I played it a lot and I learnt where everything was. I also found basically every item in the game and boosted my engine to the maximum. I also found the hidden passageway out of the universe.
Dear reader, I was overjoyed when I found, among a couple of other interesting structures and delights, the giant battleship from xkcd Hoverboard. Unchanged! Mostly.
Dear reader, I went to go see Darth Vader and actually recognise the Steven Universe reference this time.
Dear reader, it was changed.

ok so this post is gonna be messy reread if you wanna
I have (yet another) au idea of g1 (ofc its g1) that Spike (OFCOURSE ITS SPIKE) gets Sari Sumdac'd but he isn't originally techo-organic hes just human.
A relic (will rename what these gogo gadgets are called) gets found again because it kinda glued to a transformer, but it didn't activate. The transformer (that didnt know the relic was on their frame) got sent to earth to help with the war and the relic dropped itself mid battle. Spike sees it and takes it hoping its an advantage to the Autobots.
Literally right after he barely fully grabs it the relic decides "Oh i thought i would make a Cybertronian be a me user but you'll work as good." and proceeds to LATCH onto Spike's skin and tasses him to kinda "complete" making him the user now.
Bro just wanted to help now he fighting for his life😭😭😭🙏
Tumblr media
this was just a quick visual/sketch of what i was planing, i will make changes and/or removals of stuff here
Specifics in this au:
@asimp4bee 's oc relic thing/ref sheet inspiration (im stalkign her acc rn)))
Steven Universe's gem placement meanings (YOU GUYS PROBABLY DOTN GET THIS OR WHAT IT EVEN IS BUT I DO. I DO.‼️)
color theory (yall thought this is simple, no it aint) (((and im not talking abt artist rendering color theory either)))
the shape of the relic/shape theory (((again im an absolute nerd for these)))
meanings of each body part (this ones weird but youll get it later)
man i love torturing Spike, hes literally my discord profile 🫶🫶🫶 (im honestly more hyperfixated on him than Bumblebee... woops)

With the Spielberg/Jackson sequel becoming less and less likely to ever happen, here's a look at another Tintin movie we could one day have if Moulinsart stops being such a little bitch
English translation under the cut:
The Castafiore Emerald: Patrice Leconte dreams of a "slightly artsy" film in the style of Wes Anderson
In 2020, we learned that the director of Les Bronzés wanted to adapt Tintin to the cinema. More precisely: The Castafiore Emerald. Patrice Leconte swore he had already chosen the interpreters of the singer and Captain Haddock, but very quickly, the question of adaptation rights posed a problem, and the filmmaker finally directed Maigret with Gérard Depardieu.
Just as he releases a book devoted to the Belgian investigator published by Moulinsart Casterman, entitled Tintin de A à Z [Tintin from A to Z] (which takes elements from the famous cover of Emerald as can be seen above), he gives an update on this film, which he still intends to shoot.
"The Castafiore Emerald film project is not completely down the drain, but it's so complicated, what with the rights issues with Paramount and Moulinsart," deplores the filmmaker, relayed by BFMTV [a French national television channel]. "Maybe to calm my impatience, Moulinsart offered me this Tintin primer. They gave me carte blanche."
He then justifies his choice of the only Hergé comic strip taking place entirely at Marlinspike Hall ("I dream of making an adventure film without adventure") and specifies that he already has "the whole film in mind". Quoting the works of Wes Anderson (whose universe sometimes openly refers to the work of Hergé, notably in The Grand Budapest Hotel, where some shots seemed to be taken from his comics), Leconte speaks of a "slightly artsy film": "I will not take the album in my left hand and the camera in my right hand, but I will try to respect everything that the album visually communicates: the fabrics of the Castafiore's outfits, the step that is missing a chunk of marble... I really believe that we can make a film in a ligne claire style [...] We can allow ourselves liberties if they are in the spirit of comics, but otherwise it will be extremely faithful. I want it to be very close in terms of frames, colours, flat tints, absence of shadow."
On the casting side, if he had mentioned actors in 2020 (without quoting them), he no longer talks about them here, simply explaining that he will undoubtedly bet on an unknown actor for the title role: "What will amuse me when I shoot, it's to only have known actors for lines like ‘Hello, is this Mr. Cutts, the butcher?' and that the only unknown actor is Tintin. But I don’t see any known twenty-year-old actors who look like Tintin. I prefer to do a complete casting to find a Tintin." As for Snowy, he assured three years ago: "We will take any pooch, that won’t be a problem."
While he has "the whole film in mind", Patrice Leconte has not yet written his screenplay. He specifies that he wants to team up again with his accomplice Jérôme Tonnerre (Mon meilleur ami, Confidences trop intimes, etc.), but adds in the process: "We are not going to spend three months of our life writing a screenplay if the film never ends up being made. I don't want to get too involved. You can't live too long with fierce hope, because afterwards you can only be disappointed." Finding the process of adapting Tintin "too long", he concludes by saying that he won't do it after his 77th birthday (to respect the saying that Tintin is aimed at readers aged 7 to 77?): "I said that I only had a year and a half left to make the film, because I'm going to be 77, the age limit for enjoying Tintin. It was an irrefutable argument, but it didn't bother them too much."
Finally, evoking all of Hergé's comics in Tintin de A à Z, he proclaims his admiration for the adaptation directed by Steven Spielberg in 2011, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn: "It's the best adaptation of Tintin. Pure Hergé and pure Spielberg. He understood everything. He managed to translate without betraying. I really enjoyed it."

Propaganda
Caleb Widogast (Critical Role)
Autism so very strong but so much charisma. Uses learned ability to read people to understand what goes over his head.
Liam O’Brien

Rottmnt Chess Metaphor Characterization
Part 1. King and Queen
I would like to start by saying that I am not the expert in chess metaphors and this is my own opinion, and how I best interpret what makes what character each piece.
We will start with our King piece Leo and our Queen piece Mikey
Tumblr media
I already did a post on them being king and queen a while back but I am doing characterizations of chess metaphors so it made sense to start with them
King piece
The king is the most vulnerable piece, he needs the boards protection and the board needs his guidance.
Core attributes to a character being a king piece
1. Being either a strategist or being the one to give guidance, they are generally the ones the other characters fallow, and that’s presented in different ways because there are many ways to flavor a king piece
2. They have an air of vulnerability to them, and this can also be presented in different ways but you always feel that air of vulnerability to them, they often times feel like characters you want to protect or you feel like the other characters should be protecting more.
Gender is irrelevant to the King piece he can be male, female, it can even be both or neither. Same is said for the Queen piece even though they are the only two pieces referred to as he and she. Leo himself actually does have Devine Feminine energy about him
Tumblr media
Leo is of course the strategy guy @freakadr0id posts about the characters and how they are used in battle REALLY helped with my character notes and they helped me FINALLY figure out which piece April is. If you haven’t seen those posts I recommend them (I wish I knew how to link)
Leo is grate at quickly coming up with effective strategies on the fly, and while it’s more on the nose in Rottmnt, there are other ways to present this attribute. Steven from Steven Universe for example is always the one to try and help eventually becoming the one people look to for guidance becoming a North Star of sorts for those who feel lost. Princess Bubble Gum is even more unique as being a king piece who created her own board from scratch even her citizens, like I said many ways to flavor a king piece.
Leo’s portal’s actually help him move vary similar to the Queen he can literally go wherever he likes just like her. He gets cocky, wanting to be the hero, sometimes causing him to overestimate his abilities or underestimate his opponent this is a behavior that mirrors a common king piece behavior called “wanting to be their own Queen”.
Remember that air of vulnerability I mentioned earlier? Well that behavior is a byproduct of the king piece hating their vulnerability with a fiery passion. Usually this comes in the form of feeling like they don’t bring enough to the table, usually from guilt of not being on front lines. For Leo though with his brothers having easily identified skills that have distinct advantages it becomes difficult to recognize the advantages Leo brings to the team as a well round fighter. So he try’s to in a sense “be his own Queen” by being the champion or hero, which is technically the Queen’s job
There are actually many powerful king characters who also try to be their own Queens, again princess bubble gum, Ford Pines from Gravity Falls who had to be rescued every episode he was in, Rose Quarts from Steven Universe also was her own Queen by being in the middle of the action where the Queen piece usually is. All of these characters Leo included try cover up their vulnerability by being the strongest, by also being the Queen the only King who was some what successful was Rose Quarts but her story still seemed so lonely being it’s own tragedy.
Leo also somewhat suffers from the guilt of not being in the thick of it in a sense, the King works best being away from the fight and just like @freakadr0id pointed out, Leo is less effective in fights with multiple enemies, because while he can direct the fight their is only so much he can do being in the middle of the chaos. Meaning, he would probably be more effective strategy wise to be AWAY from the fight, where the king is supposed to be, but that’s not who he is, he is not going to stay behind. He doesn’t have to completely stay away, their are ways he can be in the fight but he can’t do the Queens job
do you remember in the opening of the rottmnt movie where you are looking through future leo’s eyes? And do you remember seeing exactly where he is?
Tumblr media
YEP! Right in the middle of the huge ass battle! Where it’s hard for him to direct the battle or see the enemy at to many angles. Probably being the reason he got mortally wounded! Future Leo has a similar problem to Rose Quarts, where she was trying to be on the front lines of battle with her people giving Pearl a freaking stroke, because Pearl was right, Rose was to important to be in the fight. BECAUSE WHEN YOUR KING GETS TAKEN THE GAMES OVER!! Leo still has some growing pains to get through, but lucky for him he has a really great Queen
Queen Piece
The Queen is the strongest on the board and is best at protecting the king. What the king character and Queen character are to each other is irrelevant, just like gender. They can be lovers, platonic friends or even family.
Core attributes to a character being a Queen piece (basically what I just said)
1. The most powerful character, this can be presented in different ways. Just like the King their are many different ways to flavor the Queen
2. Is the best at protecting the King, The Queen piece character is best at protecting the King character because she protects him in the way he needs to be protected
Now of course we have seen how powerful Mikey was becoming, what with yeeting everything from cargo ships to skyscrapers. And we see in the beginning of the movie that he is going to get stronger
Tumblr media
Just like many other Queens he is devastatingly powerful
But what makes him the best at protecting Leo? Raphael, Donnie, and Mikey are Leo’s comfort zone, back bone, and his protectors just as Leo is theirs. Mikey seems to be the one to kinda notice Leo’s insecurity about being leader and wants to encourage him.
Mikey, before the movie makes strides as being the heart of the team, essentially he is a Queen of the people. And being the family therapist. Leo is not a grate communicator and doesn’t like expressing vulnerability, the more he tries to stay guarded the more he is unintentionally pushing people away. He needs to be able to communicate and process, because the famous line he says at the end “this wasn’t about me” did not sit well with me.
Mikey might be able to protect Leo in the way of getting him to open up more to him, and maybe teach Raph that the way Leo copes isn’t even that bad. What Leo does is something people do when they know their doing something dangerous, or bad. They already covered that Leo’s strategies need to be safer and Leo understands that. But the jokes are seriously not something Raph needs to stress so bad over that you can see it’s taking years off his life. This is a type of protection that Mikey can extend to the rest of the board
Raph is a Rook and Donnie is a knight and I will do a post on them later, but what I am saying is they are piece’s with fixed moves, Raph can only protect Leo the way he knows how same goes for Donnie. But Mikey being the Queen can protect him however he needs to be protected, weather that’s being Doctor Feels, or!
Tumblr media
Literally ripping open the fabric of space with his own portals. He can protect Leo however he needs to be protected his moves are not set
Tumblr media
And as the Queen he can rally the board to help because the Queen Character is usually the one to do that
I would give more examples of this but I already made this post vary long
Note: if you have never watched Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, or Steven Universe I apologize for confusing you, it’s just easier to for me to explain things with examples (ADHD)

White Lace Agate. Another of the Agates (Steven Universe OCs) but this time it’s the youngest.
Lace Agates are meant to be the more powerful of the Agates (elite soldier/assassins), and White Diamond saw the success of the other ones and wanted one for herself. Before even emerging, White Lace was already under an immense amount of pressure to live up to high expectations. She struggles with that, which has resulted in her being known to be very snappy and the crybaby Agate. Tuxedo Agate was tasked with mentoring her and he’s trying his best while also dealing with the judgment directed at White Lace.
Her unique abilities are currently unknown but her weapon is a giant seam ripper.
My SU Agates are all based on shonen/magical girl tropes so yes there are references.
This is a redraw (included under cut, but also here is link) from 2019. I also included her first drawing that never made it on tumblr apparently from 2016.

inspirations behind those starry outfits?
they r gorgeous btw
Thank you so much!
I actually pull out from alot of inspirations, alot of which I think are subconscious, but I think one of the major inspirations I could point out are the gems from Steven Universe, especially with the star motif and almost-human-but-not-quite alien fashion. I also tried to make as many direct references to the characters' corresponding Tarot Card as I could and give each character their own style, like for example;
Muddler's outfit in the ref sheet I made was inspired by Regency Era male fashion, but besides that I would imagine he wears other sorts of 19th century outfits pulled from any year he feels like wearing that night. His outfits would generally feel close to home (especially for older people in the time the AU takes place) but holy and regal and old-looking enough to feel just out of reach, just like how Muddler himself can't help but be placed a step above everyone else despite his desperate want to be among them. I also took some inspiration from The Sun tarot card, especially with the rays of his halo, it's not too prominent for the outfit I drew in the ref but I do plan on designing outfits for him that do incorporate more motifs from the card.
Fuzzy's outfits is most certainly taken directly from the Justice tarot card but given more flow and a space-like aesthetic. The gradients I think are directly color-picked from pictures of comets when I made her first ref sheet and I just took those colors again but tweaked the shades a little to fit her more intense fur color(s). She also has a cool flaming sword because the Justice card had a sword, comets used to be compared to flaming swords in the sky, it fits with the idea of her sort of being Muddler's knight, and it looks cool.
Hodgkins' white outfit is directly inspired by those white US navy captain's uniforms and I added a cape to represent the dark side of the Moon. Hodgkins will notoriously have a different outfit ever single time to represent the different phases of the Moon so I'm going to have a fun time coming up with those I imagine, their main aesthetic is mostly going to be navy military-looking because he really wants to go for that captain motif. His grey shoulder boards are a direct visual reference to the two towers in The Moon tarot card and his golden buttons are the gold droplets that are also on the card.
Fuddler the least realistic and more covering/clumsy looking outfit out of all of them because he is the most out-of-touch with Earth culture and is terribly awkward and ignored by many besides his parents. I kind of tried to create a similar silhouette to his canon outfit, particular with the turtleneck cape and the leg warmers. The frog buttons are a reference to his canon interest in frogs and buttons. Also, this isn't part of his clothes but the stars in his ears are a straight rip of the stars in The Stars tarot card, right down to the placement (the big yellow star is on the back of his head).
