So when a bank error leaves him unable to make rent, he does what anyone else would do in this situation: he accidentally gets a job drawing erotic illustrations for a gay bondage porn magazine. It turns out that pornography's not a bad way to make a living. The money's decent, the work is unexpectedly fulfilling, and if many of the men Steve draws bear a certain resemblance to Tony Stark, so what? No one's going to know Steve's in love with Tony. It's not like Tony's ever going to see it. What are the odds that Tony buys gay bondage porn magazine. Tony, meanwhile, is newly sober in the wake of the death of the Carnelian ambassador, and life's been rough for him lately. He's recently single, he's desperately lonely, and he's pining after a tragically-straight teammate he can't have. At least he can show himself a good time. But what he'd really like to know is why the guy painted on the cover of this adult magazine looks so familiar.

I love everything Sineala writes, and this was one of my favorite fics back in January. It has great prose, an amazing characterization of our two lovebirds and Steve being an illustrator for a gay bondage porn magazine! Come on, what else is there to want?

This was surprisingly sweet! I love reading Steve as a gentle dom, and it has two of my biggest obsessions in this fandom: Silver Fox Steve Rogers and Twink Tony Stark!

The abstinence clause in every SHIELD contract states that all alpha field agents must take suppressants for the first two years of their employment in order to diminish the risk of a battle rut. Steve's trial period is coming to an end, and he is absolutely not looking forward to what a rut several years in the making is going to do to his body. Luckily he's not going to have to face it alone.

This was a really sweet fic! Steve ends up being chained to the bed because he's afraid he'll hurt Tony, but the moment his rut arrives he's so sweet, checking on Tony even when it's clear Tony's having a good time. Such a good fic! <3

FIC REC WEEK 6 - SMUT

He Knows More Than You Do by ChibiSquirt

Pairing: Steve/Tony Rating: E Words: 35,580 Tags: Medical Kink, Dom/Sub Undertones, Porn With Feelings

Summary: “It’s the science,” Tony blurted, and that definitely only made it worse. He spat it all out at once, trying to get it over with: “It’s the science, okay? Steve has all these enhancements, he’s not normal, and everybody knew— it is in literally every scientist’s notes! — that there was some change to sexual functioning, but nobody knew what, and I’ve thought about it, okay? That’s it! That’s the only reason! Nothing more!” He spread his hands defensively and then, only then, dared a look at Steve. Steve looked... thoughtful? Or maybe constipated, or bored, or just drunk. Whatever it was, it wasn’t punching Tony in the face, so Tony decided to take it and run. “Look, it’s pretty much got to be the stamina or the recovery rate,” he blurted, because apparently he had no control over his mouth.“The only question is, which. But it’s just for science, okay?”(Spoiler alert: It was not just for science.)

Reasons why I love it: The smut in this is so fucking amazing. ChibiSquirt hits so many different kinks and some really creative ways to exploit Steve's practically non-existent refractory period. And a Steve that has a hairpin-trigger is always a delight, especially when he's as well-written as this one is. Not to mention the emotions that come rushing in towards the end, god, it's so good. This fic is wonderful from start to finish, so I highly recommend you read it!

Operation Spank Bank by fohatic

Pairing: Steve/Tony Rating: E Words: 19,171 Tags: Voyeurism, Escalating Situationship, Uniform Kink

Summary: Tony really shouldn't be hacking into classified SHIELD files behind Steve's back. Steve is a SHIELD agent, now—as well as Tony's captain—and this sort of thing reflects badly on him. So why is there a locked file titled "Operation Spank Bank" on Tony's private OS? And why hasn't Steve been briefed about any such operation? The file is password protected, but Steve has an eidetic memory and has seen Tony enter it, before -- it would serve Tony right if Steve were to 'hack the hacker' and learn for himself what "Operation Spank Bank" is all about...

Reasons why I love it: Give me all the sexually confident, openly teasing, little shit Steve Rogers! I love the transition from him being oblivious to what a spank bank even is to actively encouraging Tony's voyeuristic tendencies. And the shameless objectification of Steve is fucking amazing. I love this fic to pieces, and I bet you will too, so go and read it!

How to Fall In Love (in Four Easy Steps) by morphia

Pairing: Steve/Tony, minor Tony/Pepper Rating: E Words: 24,782 Tags: Casual Sex Partners, First Times, Happy Ending

Summary: Tony and Pepper's relationship is open, with only one clear rule: they must never let the other catch them with a fling. Soon after the events of The Avengers, Tony finally uses his license to sleep with others--with Steve. And Steve knows that their sexual encounters are intended to be strictly casual, but that doesn't stop him from falling hopelessly, stupidly in love. Or: What if they were actually banging behind the scenes?

Reasons why I love it: Are you looking for angst with a happy ending and a healthy dose of scorching hot smut? Then this is the fic for you. Steve's inner monologue is fantastic throughout the whole fic, and I love that we get to see canon play out in a subtly but significantly different way. Plus, the angsty parts are so packed with feels that they really hit home, no matter how many times I read this fic. Go and check it out, you won't regret it!

I started the STW because I love reading and was running out of fic recs and occasionally that’s still true---so always feel free to send me new things to read via asks. I don’t do requested rec lists often, mostly because I’m crazy busy, but I’ve been thinking of a series of mini-lists for the holiday season--more on that later.

Steve blushes so adorably when Tony walks into the kitchen, staring down at the plate of pancakes that he made for himself and the rest of the team.

His brown wings, the colour of burnt umber, shake out before folding around his broad form.

For a moment, Tony is confused and then, he looks down at himself, noticing the way he strode into the kitchen in just a pair of silk boxers, arc reactor and shiny red scars on vivid display.

He shifts uneasily on his feet and immediately hates himself for the action.

Why should he feel so awkward, so self-conscious just because perfect fucking Captain America finds him an absolute mess of a person?

The Avengers have been around a long time, and they have a lot of traditions. But when Steve finds out that the team has a tradition he's never been informed of, he learns that there's something Tony hasn't been telling him, either.

Tony leads the way up the steps to the house, and as the door swings open with a long creaking sound - note to self: oil door hinges - Steve’s eyes widen. He steps inside, turns slowly on his own axis as he looks around.

“Tony, this place, it’s…” There’s a sense of wonder in his voice. Tony smiles inwardly. It is just the kind of thing Steve would like. Steve, who has a keen appreciation for fine aesthetics, who has a healthy - okay, sometimes more than healthy - sense of history and an acute desire to preserve things he deems worthy.

“This place is a dump.”

Well, so much for that, then. Tony shifts his weight to one leg as he takes an appraising look. “It’s a bit of a fixer-upper, yeah, I’ll give you that, but it’s not past saving. Just needs some TLC.”

Steve uncrosses his arms and shoves his hands in the pockets of his pants. “Well listen, you ever want an extra set of hands with some of the work, just give me a call.”

Steve finally gets fed up with Tony’s juvenile pranks. When Tony models for a sex toy, Steve seizes the opportunity. Or, it seizes him.

Steve didn’t know how to respond. This didn’t go as planned, he thought to himself. He hadn’t expected a heartfelt confession. In truth, he had expected more lies, more deceit. He felt like the world’s greatest asshole for using his best friend as a punching bag.

i'll be honest, i haven't written in the while so some of these might be a little clunky

deuteronomy 5:21: Steve is going to Hell. Not that he cares anymore.

like smoke rings in the air: Steve has a problem by the name of Tony Stark.

waste no part: Steve wakes up to the sun shining in his face and the smell of smoke, which means one of two things. Either someone has flash-bombed his house, or Tony's trying to cook by himself again.

act of contrition: Before the rest of the guests arrive, and the nave is still blissfully deserted, Steve drags Tony into the confessional.

bad reputation: Tony Stark, Natalie decides, is a goddamn moron.

only over you: When he arrives to Earth-8350 it's already too late; the civil war is in full swing and the superhero community has torn itself apart.

shades of cool: When Tony dies, Steve feels something inside of himself sever, like the fissuring of glass and stone.

perfect stroke: Tony had worn makeup for as long as he could remember.

as far as patterns go, it looks like recently i've been here for the short, punchy one-liner to ease the reader into the story, which makes sense given that a lot of these fics are on the shorter side. out of all of them, i think i like bad reputation the most. something about it—the fic as a whole, really—just makes me smile

ik im late but do u know of any fics where post-endgame steve goes back in time to be with tony? Could be focused on that or only have it at the ending. Ive only found like 2 of them lol

So sorry for the sort of late response. The end of the semester tends to be a really busy time for me.

So...I actually don't tend to read a lot of Endgame fix-its, just because I'm not a huge fan of Endgame and I sort of just ignore it in canon.

I did read one where Tony survives in Endgame, and when Steve goes back in time to return the stones, he sleeps with 2012 Tony, but then Steve returns to the present (2023) and eventually gets together with that Tony. I don't have the link at my fingertips, but I will go through my bookmarks in the next couple of days and see if I can find it.

In the meantime, does anyone have any Steve goes back in time to get with Tony fic recs they'd like to share?
