Starting season 7 of ER rewatch with dread in my heart.

This is actually great timing though because even though [Redacted] College has screwed me over royally, its fuckery has put me in a position to write one of my final college papers ever on Kerry Weaver's seasons 2-8 arc as a tragic backstory arc or Kerry overall as a genre atypical tragic figure.

Still.

I just want to protect her from the horrors. She needs a therapist and a friend and her mentor healthy again to tell her she's amazing and if anything her newly discovered queerness only enhances that. She needs literally one (1) person in her support system. She just needs someone to tell her she's going to be okay and that the one thing she has in her life (her job) is safe. But the whole basis of her tragic-ness is that the writers sabotage her every attempt to not be lonely. So...

I am fairly new to writing. I ask that you are respectful and kind when replying to my posts, essentially don't be weird. I am taking requests however I do not write smut and things involving graphic and sexual themes.

my writing may be suggestive; however, I don't write full on smut.

𓆩♡𓆪 note: let me know if you'd be interested in seeing this idea being written into a fic. this is just a little snippet of a scene that has been playing around in my head. I don't know if any of you have watched "the three musketeers: D'Artagnan" but it's so good and it's been a hyper fixation for a few weeks. the scene includes one of the characters - Aramis (played by Romain Duris - I love his character in the movie) and an o/c named Dilara Saviour-Flor de Monde. Here it is.

The small bathroom smelled of alcohol and soap, the sharp tang stinging her nose as she worked. She balanced on the counter, shirt undone and hanging haphazardly off her shoulders, revealing the tattoos along her collarbones, a threaded needle clamped between her teeth. Her hands were steady despite the sharp pain that came with every swipe of the cloth against her wound.

From the bedroom, the captain’s voice filtered through. “This will require diplomacy—and force, if necessary. You, Aramis, and Porthos guard the gate until I return. No one leaves.”

“You’re wasting your breath,” she called, pulling the needle from her lips, resting it on the counter and wincing when she pressed a bit too roughly on her wound.

Captain Tréville appeared in the doorway, his frown deepening when he saw her. “Would you at least sit still while we plan?” he barked. “Porthos, turn around—stop staring at her like a bloody painting.”

Porthos grunted, shifting his weight as his gaze flicked guiltily away. “She could at least close the door.”

“She won’t listen,” Aramis drawled with a small smirk, leaning against the doorframe. His eyes lingered on her, a mix of amusement and something more shadowed in his gaze. “Too stubborn for her own good.”

“Then help her.”

Aramis straightened at Tréville’s clipped order. He took a step into the bathroom, his confidence softening as he approached.

“I can do it myself,” she protested, her voice calm but unbothered by his presence, her hands still deftly cleaning the wound.

“I know you can,” he murmured, stepping closer, his voice low and gentle. “But if you don’t shut that beautiful mouth of yours and let me help, I swear, I’ll lose my mind.”

His words froze her hands, her defiance slipping under the weight of his steady gaze. She let out a breath, relenting with a curt nod. He was between her legs now, a presence she couldn’t ignore as he gently took her hands, placing them to rest at her sides.

“Are you okay with me touching you?” he asked softly, his tone a rare mix of respect and vulnerability.

She nodded again, silent this time, her usual sharp wit muted as his fingers brushed hers. He worked with a care she hadn’t expected, cleaning and stitching her wound with an attentiveness that made her chest tighten.

When he was done, his hand brushed over the tattoos across her collarbone, the faintest touch that felt heavier than it should have.

“Aramis…” she whispered, her voice catching.

His fingers froze, his eyes darting to hers. He blinked as if waking from a dream, pulling back. “Sorry,” he said softly, his hand retreating like the moment had burned him.

For a heartbeat, neither of them moved.

“If I could take your pain,” he said finally, his voice low, raw, “I would.”

She swallowed, her throat suddenly dry, but before she could respond, Tréville’s sharp voice broke from the other room.

“Are we finished here, or do you need me to stitch your mouth shut too?”

Her lips quirked into a faint smile, breaking the tension as Aramis stepped back. But the weight of his words lingered, long after the moment had passed.

Playing Until Dawn got the first time where I'm actually the one holding the controller because I wanna play the full game and get my personal favourite ending before the movie and the remaster/remake comes out:

On one hand despite my typical shaking hand problems, I literally got no moment whatsoever in the first Don't Move, so I think playing that weird meditation minigame from Wii Fit Plus years ago has actually given me some benefit.

On the other hand, it had been so long since I have used a PlayStation controller and am struggling so hard to remember which button is which. I am very worried for the quick time events as this game progresses.
