Hi!! I’d like to share a success story for some reason I never thought to post this on tumblr but here I am. I saw a pic of him in my ig and I realised I haven’t thought about the person in at least 6 months😭 but anyways I was manifesting a celebrity sp, he’s really popular atm and I had so many fears around it like third parties ect but manifested it regardless. So I was seeing a movie with sp in it and had an hour to kill beforehand so my friend and I decided to go to a random beach. I said to my friend as we were driving wouldn’t it be crazy if we saw sp here? As a joke… kind of lol but let’s just say the universe came through and after about 40 minutes of us being there we were getting ready to leave and all of a sudden guess who we see? SP IN THE FLESH!!! Not to mention he was supposed to be in another country filming another movie and all of a sudden he just spawns there, it’s not even a popular beach either it’s a super small town it was literally just my friend and I, sp and a few people walking their dogs 😭 He ended up walking behind us along the beach (not like in a creepy way we were just ahead of him) and I didn’t want to go up to him and ask for a picture bc I thought I was giving desperate and I wanted to give unbothered I don’t chase i attract energy lmao. But the sun was setting and my literally celebrity crush/sp was right there!! He was with his mum as well which is another reason why I didn’t go up to him but if I wasn’t over him I would totally manifest for us to meet again, I lowkey want to just for fun is that bad lmao.

It's not bad at all bahaha manifesting suppose to be fun , you suppose to enjoy it DW.

— VOID STATE PROGRESS CHART ❜

Hlo everyone so right now my Summer breaks are going on and I've decided to enter the void state because I can and this is my daily routine progress chart though I've decided to share this with you all yesterday but I was unable to post so I am sharing it right now

Ok my routine is simple and right now I am not doing anything in day ( like listening to subliminals or doing robotic affirmation) I am using deep trance hypnosis method which I got to know by @/gorgeouslypink when I came across one her of post she suggested this video and after that when I research a little bit on this topic I get to know that DEEP TRANCE : is altered states that are characterized by profound relaxation and loss of control over the body, as well as a subjective sense of floating or detachment from one's physical self

I kind of found deep trance similar to Void helpful for my brain because it doesn't question around when I am doing this method

So this all for this post right now I will be updating it after doing the method tonight bye luv you all🫶🤍

— 5/07/2024 : okay so update 😭this is hilarious lmao what happened actually is that I thought first I will do some breathing exercises for relaxation & for which I was listening to a video and I didn't knew that my mobile was charge was low on the top of that I fell asleep on my back lol but anyway I when I woke in up the morning I affirm that ' I can enter the void when I want ' I will update tomorrow luv y'all 😌

— 6/07/2024 : y'all probably thought I had give up but no I was in mobile area for few so days so there no internet connection and for update I had change the methods because the voice in hypnosis is too sweet to focus. everytime I found myself wandering in different things. So what I did in next two days was focusing on lucid dreaming

— 7/07/2024 : The whole day I listen to this subliminal ( probably one of the best subliminal I've ever found) while listening to subliminals I affirmed that ' I am always aware when I am dreaming & I lucid dream easily and effortlessly ' I kept doing reality check every hour like biting tounge counting fingers and pinching nose though in the night'I didn't dream😭lmao all I remember was a pitch black so belive I was in void but unaware and I also kept the subliminal on loop so that was the mistake I guess

— 8/07/2024 : Again I did the same routine which I did yesterday but this time I didn't kept the subliminals loop all night instead I started counting while affirming the same affirmation then I fall asleep again when I woke up in the morning I thought it again ended on the same page like yesterday but I was able to recall each and every single details of my dream & I am pretty sure I will Lucid dream tonight will update tomorrow and also I will be making a different post how to shift/tap into void through lucid dream that's all for today luv y'all 🫶🫡

— 9/07/2024 : update so yesterday I did the same routine though I just couldn't sleep on my back because I felt like someone was ripping my scalp out of my skull and I thought I will do that 4-6 hours method for Lucid dream but when alarm woke me up😭💀I was like it's just 4:30 why I am waking up so early?? I forgot what I was doing then fell asleep but anyway each and every step I take I am feeling I am very close to my goal I am very motivated any second you all can get my success story 🤭so hang on lmao will update luv y'all 🤍

hello!! spoilers for 4.7 ahead - as the resident #1 skirk lore theorizer I'm so curious to hear your thoughts about skirk being surtalogi's disciple and the sudden new khaenri'ah connection that childe has now because i've spent so long accepting your skirk as a shining shade theory as a headcanon that the new drop has me SPINNING!!!

i think what's funnier is that this actually tells me nothing right now LMAO because yes there's a surtalogi skirk connection, but this has cleared nothing on skirk herself, and in the end, she's the one that matters the most atm when it comes to childe

plus childe always did have a strange khaenri'ah connection in the form of his weapons. yes, those are primordial civilization weapons, but khaenri'ah has a connection to that, so it's the same level of connection as there is through skirk. once removed, in a way.

maybe there was more to digest in the quest? but i genuinely only played it like half an hour ago at the time of posting this, so like. i might need a bit to process that

so like- ultimately while this was rather interesting khaenri'ah lore, i'm not sure that this told us all that much about skirk outside of the fact she now has a connection to khaenri'ah? and even then, that's assuming she met surtalogi while he was sill associated with khaenri'ah, in the event that he isn't anymore. i'm not sure that we know that he is sill which i guess is interesting in its own right because skirk doesn't have khaenri'ahn eyes.

like forgive the quality but that's not the khaenri'ahn star. so... i guess my question is where she met surtalogi to start? unless non-royalty khaenri'ahns didn't have the star? or she was a foreigner in kh'aenriah. still,

so skirk is still a mystery, and even if we now know surtalogi had high connections to khaenri'ah, we still know precious little about him and the star beasts or whatever they were called. as far as i can tell, this update doesn't have childe crumbs despite the surtalogi namedrop hahah

though i guess this has the rather odd implication that if we assume khaenri'ahns to have had normal human lifespans pre-cataclysm and for surtalogi to have been a normal human, in the interest of masters usually being older than their students, that this would make skirk under 500 years old

things started to change a lot when you're finally back to the real world, especially your relationship with the guy you're supposed to hate the most.

warnings: swearing, yun jin calls you babe, just reader and scaramouche being awkward and also yun jin being a 'very' good friend lmao

a/n: god i need to stop updating so often because now this series is already halfway finished and it's only been less than 3 months... i don't want ma to end quick T-T so maybe i'll start posting once a week now. happy reading!

it has been an unusual week for you.

for the first time in two months and a half, viktor was avoiding you.

it first started when you two had mass comm together a few days ago. he always used to be so cheerful and always full with conversations that you barely even hear what the professor's always teaching in his lectures.

but he completely changed when you returned to class, and had progressively stopped talking with you as the week goes by. he only ever talks with you if you were the one who initiated small talk, usually answering with a simple reply, and decides to never talk to you again for the rest of the class.

things started to change even more when he slowly distances himself from you. from sitting next to you in every mass comm class for the past two months, to not even being in your sight now, always sitting far away from you.

you had tried confronting him, of course. but somehow, he never fails to escape from you. from you searching for him in a crowded room, all the way to chasing him in the busy hallways of campus, but to no avail.

so, you did the only thing that you could do right now.

ask his girlfriend about it.

“viktor? avoiding you?” yun jin asked curiously, sipping on the cup of latte she bought at the campus cafe.

you had dragged yun jin to the campus park to discuss on the topic you've been trying to get an answer from. none of you had any classes for the rest of day, so you have all the time in the world to interrogate the young woman about her fellow partner.

you nodded, looking at her intensely. “he never talks with me now, and the only time i get to see him is when i catch glimpse of his face in class.” you said. “i never manage to catch up to him since he always comes in after the professor arrives, and always leaves the second the class is dismissed.”

“so you're asking me about him, because i'm his loving girlfriend?”

“uh, i guess so. i just want to know why he's avoiding me all of the sudden when he's the one who's most eager for me to get back on my feet and come to class.”

yun jin cleared her throat, avoiding your gaze to look at the autumn leaves. “well, in all honesty, he's also been avoiding me.”

you quirked up an eyebrow. “really?”

“it's happened a couple of times during our relationship, where he just... ignores everyone. i've asked about it before, but he merely shrugged and ignored me for the next few days.” she paused, looking back at you.

“it's as if he's living in his own world, where no one else exists, just him.”

you hummed, not knowing what to say for a moment. “is he.... you know?” you asked, hoping that yun jin would catch on what you were trying to imply.

at this, yun jin jumped on her seat. “no! no, he'd never hurt me.” she commented, emphasising the word. “there are just times where he completely ignores me and every other human being, and then comes back all of the sudden, as if nothing's happened. i've grown accustomed to it by now, just... give it a few days, he'll come back like normal.”

“you sure he's not causing you any trouble?”

“yes— don't worry about it, luna, we're fine.” she looked at you, assuring that nothing bad is going on between her and viktor. “besides, you're supposed to be preparing for this weekend, not worrying about viktor.”

you rolled your eyes at her. “seriously? that's what you've been thinking about?”

yun jin pouted, crossing her arms. “come on! this is our last year, and i don't want you to miss out on this.” she tried convincing you.

“aside from that...” she trailed off for a second, before continuing her sentence. “who're you bringing to the ball?” she asked mischievously, raising her brows up and down with a smile on her face.

“you mean a date?”

yun jin's smile faltered and huffed at you. “of course i'm talking about a date! what else would i even be suggesting?”

you sighed, looking back at the scenic view of the busy but calming campus park. as autumn is approaching to an end, most of the leaves on the trees have fallen, preparing themselves for winter to come by.

winter is the signature season of snezhnaya. with its long term and never ending snow, winter is something that everyone in the nation always look forward too.

it's no doubt that you're one of them too. with the season coming, you always look forward to continuing on this path of life, whether it'd be bad or not.

“i don't have a date.”

those five words was all it took for yun jin to jump out of her seat to sit next to you on the picnic bench. “you're kidding me, right?”

“why would i lie to you? and it's not like i won't have fun if i don't have a date, i've been single my whole life.” you looked at her, in which she glared at you in return.

then, an idea popped in her head. “isn't that ivan guy single? you should ask him out.”

“what?”

“ivan, that roommate of yours. you told me that you two came from the same uni before transferring here, surely you know enough about him now that you're living with the man.”

slowly registering her words, you widened your eyes and glared at her. “no way! we hate each other!” you said furiously, though your flustered face was very opposed to what you were saying right now.

yun jin raised a brow, smiling mischievously at you even more. “really now? ‘cause all i've seen over the past week is you two being lovebirds.”

“excuse me?!”

“what? am i not right? i see the way you look at him, and i see the way he looks at you. if it's not love, then i don't know what is.”

you covered your mouth in astonishment, and maybe just a tad bit of embarrassment.

it had been a weird week for you. ever since you got sick that one time, scaramouche has been acting different towards you. it's not entirely in a bad way, but you're sure it's not exactly in a good way either.

unlike the usual times he's spent time with you, with him throwing around three insults at you at the very least of each conversation, this time, he's been treating you very differently.

he's started to stop with his crucial actions and bashful words towards you, and he's now being exceptionally quiet, only ever replying with a word or two before going off with his own business. sure, you are not one to complain now that he's stopped making your life a miserable mess, but it's not wrong to at least ponder about it.

your views on him have also changed too.

you used to think he was the most useless man alive, and that he was the most ruthless bitch in the police department, but as time passes during the duration of your undercover case with him, things have changed by a lot.

he's not the grumpy man like before, who'd always stomp at quite literally everything whenever something doesn't go his way. he's not the guy who'd shit on you every chance he gets anymore, and he has stopped being the guy you've known so damn well.

he's now this weird, nice guy that's always treating you nicely.

you also see him as less of a burden, and more of a friend now. you two have gone a long way from being sworn enemies, so it should be time to change your title from enemies to friends, or at the very least, acquaintances.

you appreciate the little things he does for you, and repay with whatever you can, whether it be staying up with him during long nights to work on the case, or just spending time with him on the couch and watch stupid shows or movies just to shit on them together, you really wouldn't trade it for the world.

“seriously? you're off on your own dreamland right now?” yun jin asked in boredom, snapping her fingers at you.

shaking off your thoughts, you cleared your throat. “i'm not going with him.”

“babe.” yun jin said in a serious tone as she placed her hands on your shoulder, turning your body slightly so that you were facing her. “this is a once in a lifetime thing. i desperately need you to have a date, that is my personal and only request for you. besides, do you even know any other guy in campus that is not ivan?”

you slowly shook your head in defeat, looking down on your lap.

“then there you have it, ask him out by tomorrow. go big or go home, child.” she said, the embarrassing and stupidly dramatic nickname rolling off her tongue easily, as if you were her actual kid.

you give a thought.

maybe it won't be bad, you ponder to yourself. well, he technically has been nice to you for the past week, so it'd probably be less awkward if you ask him out to the ball since you guys barely argue now. and, you also can investigate on the case with him while you're at it, so it's definitely the perfect plan.

“...fine, i'll see what i can do.”

yun jin grinned giddily, shaking your shoulders violently with her hands. “thank you, thank you luna! it's gonna be sooo great!” she beamed, dragging out the 'so' in excitement.

“what?”

“let's go to that grad ball together.”

scaramouche crossed his arms, raising a brow. “i thought we were going together? you know, for the case?” he asked confusedly, looking at you from his desk.

the ravenette was currently doing some work on his desk in the small room, and you were leaning on his doorframe, staring at him expectantly.

“no, um, i meant like...” you paused, hesitant on finishing your sentence.

scaramouche leaned back on his chair properly, still looking at you with a confused look. “well? what did you mean? spit it out already.”

rubbing the back of your neck in nervousness, you avoided his eyes. here goes nothing, i guess.

“we should go together... like uh, a date.” you mumbled, voice barely a whisper, but it was enough for scaramouche to hear and slightly jump on his seat.

“w–what?”

“w–well, i mean like, we go there together... like normal people, friends— yeah, friends, that's what i meant to say! go as f–friends, y'know?” you quickly covered up in a sputtering mess. the idea of a date instantly being dumped to your butt.

how did you even manage to fuck this up so bad? it was not even that hard to begin with, yet you couldn't even do it properly like you're supposed to.

scaramouche flushed red, crimson creeping up his cheeks. he shyly looked away from you and shifted in his seat, fumbling for the right words to say. “i, um– i don't mind if i'm gonna be uh... be your boyf– date, i mean.” he stuttered, silently cursing himself for doing so.

you widened your eyes in pure shock. “h–huh?”

“you said we should go together as a... date, right?”

rubbing the back of your neck again, you fixate your eyes on his door instead, looking at it intensely as if it's the most interesting thing you've ever seen. slowly, you nodded, heart pounding from the embarrassment you're facing.

and maybe because scaramouche was looking a little too attractive to your liking.

the ravenette hummed, clicking on his pen to continue on with his work. “then, sure. i'll be your date, i guess.”

“really?” you asked, face still confused as to why he's suddenly so obedient to your request.

scaramouche shrugged, continuing on writing from where he left off. “if you have any doubts then i'm gonna call it off. this is your last chance, i'm not doing any of your stupid ideas after this.”

you pushed yourself off from his doorframe and quickly brought your hands up in defense. “n–no! please don't do that, this'll be my last ridiculous request, i swear!” you clasped your hands together.

his indigo eyes fixate on you, and he clicks his tongue. “no need to go all begging for me, i'd do anything you want me to if you ask properly.” he said, and you stared at him in return, before you looked down to the floor.

“...thank you, scara.”

“it's nothing.”

“see you tomorrow morning?” you asked, looking back up. he was still gazing at you.

scaramouche hummed, a soft expression on his face, contrary to his signature scowls and frowns. “yeah, pack whatever you need, we'll use my car.”

you smiled, and turned to the hallway to leave.

“y/n.”

“hm?” you looked over your shoulder.

scaramouche was in his seat, his hand still gripping the pen. if you look close enough, the grip he had on the pen was so strong that his knuckles were starting to turn white, and the pen was on the verge to break in two.

“i look forward to sunday.”

smiling at him again, you replied. “me too.”

and then you finally left, leaving scaramouche in his room with the door wide open.

your loving smile was all it took for the pen is his hand to snap, the ink splattering everywhere on his desk and paper, in which he breathed out a few curses as he hastily cleaned everything up.

looks like he's got to redo that paper all over again.

Soo... about that new podcast...what do you think? Why announce it now, all of sudden. And is it connected to F3? If machines vs nature will be the main plot, well, the whole movie is spoilered lmao. ((and why not just make it a tv series??))

I’m guessing that they’re announcing it now ahead of the D23 Event in September. Maybe.

We actually have a lot of interesting side content coming this year, the newly announced Frozen Podcast: Forces of Nature coming October, Lost Legends: The Fixer Upper also in October, and All is Found: A Frozen Anthology in November.

Which means more updates that need to be done for my canon post. Pffft.

But back to the point. What do I think about the new podcast.

My first thought is, why not just make a series? Was it cheaper to do a podcast? Is the company really struggling that much right now (with not paying their animators and writers) that they can’t just give us a nice Frozen Series to bridge the gap between F2 and F3? A podcast just seems so…unreachable. Like, many fans are already not aware of novels and comics, and their canon is still being debated - are we really creating something that literally only die-hard fans would know about? Idk. It just seems very lazy. I know that Jen Lee and Chris Buck are busy with other projects, and the new director is probably busy with the third film - but come on Disney. A little more effort would be nice.

On that same note, why introduce more characters? The reason I’m bringing this up is because I would be genuinely sad if once again the Northuldran characters are pushed to the side. We really couldn’t get a Sami person to review/work on the story with the current writers? Again, if they are excluded, it just adds to the overall lazy feel of this project.

I hope I’m proven wrong and this project actually has a lot of work and dedication put into it.

On the subject of the plot - it seems interesting. I would honestly have to wait to see more details and be able to dissect the story to really give a more fair critique for it, but so far the idea of copper machines disrupting the balance of nature is intriguing.

WOW, so volume 3 of The Missing is out and… what the heck just happened? 😂 I feel like this volume left me with more questions than the previous two volumes combined. There are some VERY intriguing lore bits in this one (and also a lot of.. questionable stuff again, too lol). It messed with my head in every possible way, so I hope I can somehow collect my thoughts by writing them all down under the cut. You know the drill. :D So let’s dive into it.

(Btw, I've already talked about the matter of each volume being drawn by a different artist in my post on volume 2, so I’ll just say that, out of the three art styles we got so far, I probably like this one the least? Maybe it was just me, but I found myself a bit confused at times by the visuals and what was happening? lol Of course, this is all subjective and it's not bad or anything, I just liked the previous ones better, I guess. But hey, it’s nice to see that, apparently this new artist got BioWare’s memo on Varric’s (and Harding’s) new design, too. lol So, no sudden design change again, like we got from volume 1 to 2. Though is it just me or does Harding’s hairstyle keep changing in every volume? lol Makes me wonder what it‘ll end up being if we get to see her again in DA4 (because she‘s obviously going to be a companion 👀.)

- So we start off with a neat one page kinda “roadmap”/”montage” of Varric and Harding traveling to our next destination, Arlathan Forest….. by ship? (*still crossing fingers for a ship main base in DA4 btw*) Ok, I know I said I would stop nitpicking about every little thing in this story that seems to happen out of “plot convenience” after the last volume, but.. I just have so many questions here already. 😂

Ok, so.. how exactly did they even manage to make it out of Vyrantium like that? Are the Antaam who are setting the siege on the city, in addition to not knowing about people getting in and out of the city through the sewage, ALSO not aware of/don’t care about people leaving the city by ship? 😂 I mean, I would assume that the Antaam still have a strong naval power under their belt with all those dreadnoughts and what not, so… were Varric and Harding just incredibly lucky or are the Antaam just really bad at setting a siege? lol

In fact, why even take the risk to travel by ship in the first place? lol Especially considering how in the first chapter of Tevinter Nights, it was said that the Antaam were occupying the shores along the Arlathan Forest, so…. did they just retreat after the events of that chapter or.. again, are Varric and Harding just incredibly lucky to have not come across their camps when they reached the shores? 😂 ANYWAY.

- Nope. Luckily, they don‘t encounter any Antaam OR their dreadnoughts, but they do come across a few shipwrecks that *are* probably the result/aftermath of some sea battles between the Qunari and Tevinter, I assume? OR, my other guess, seeing as there is also this giant sea monster depicted on the map right along Varric and Harding’s route…

....maybe those ships fell victim to one of those lovely creatures. lol (Remember that DA4 codex entry in one of the BioWare Community Updates about motherflippin Sea Dragons??) There certainly seems to be a good chance for a generally far more “oceanic” setting in DA4! 👀👀

Btw, I’ve also seen people being confused about there being icebergs in the northern sea? lol

I mean, we already established snow on the equator (confirmed by Mark Darrah himself lmao), so I don’t see a problem with some ice in the nocen sea. lol

- Anyway, leaving the sea behind us… We then get a gorgeous establishing shot of our next location, prompting me to say.. Welcome to Inception Forest I mean Arlathan Forest!

Things have indeed become very strange in this place, it seems. 

My first question upon seeing this was actually how old some of these twisted structures and the ruins we see throughout this volume might be? Seeing as the general assumption seems to be that this forest was the place where the capital city of Elvhenan Arlathan once stood, and imo it’s as good as confirmed at this point that Arlathan is/was the Golden/Black City in the center of the Fade, I’d say it makes a lot of sense that magic ran wild here after Solas created the Veil and did whatever to take Arlathan to the Fade, along with some very angry trapped gods inside? lol Unless we believe that other story in which, according to Tevinter, Arlathan sank onto the ocean floor after some massive blood ritual, long after the Veil was created. Either way, the Veil/magic/spirits going bonkers in this place could be traced back to a lot of historic events.

What I am kinda missing in this panel though (besides Harding’s hair color, I guess lol) and throughout this whole volume actually, are the golden/autumn leaves we’ve been seeing in all the concept art/illustrations thus far?

Though maybe that’s just a stylistic choice by the artists?

And again, sorry for the nitpick, but plot convenience strikes again as we just so happen to walk into this very helpful group of people. lol

- Irelin and Strife!! <333 Another space to cross out on our speculation bingo card. lol And as expected, judging by their design, they are in fact the people we’ve been seeing in all the concept art/teaser trailer/etc.

- I don't know but something about the art style, the way this panel is drawn, the overall design of those guys and just the name "Veil Jumpers" is giving me huge 80s rock band vibes. 😂 Like, I was looking at this, thinking "So, when's their album coming out?" Because damn, I'll be the first to buy it! 😂

- I'll be honest, that is not at all what I imagined Strife to look like when I was reading Tevinter Nights. lol I'd say he definitely lives up to his name. 😂 He kinda reminds of Sten..? What with the hair and facial features. Also, he wasn't described to have vallaslin in TN? So did he get it after the events in the book? And speaking of similarities.. Doesn't Strife also look a lot like this one guy from the DA4 concept art?

Idk, but given the height and the skin tone, I always assumed that this has to be a hornless qunari? But upon closer inspection, the ears don't really look all that pointy, so... maybe it's just a *really* tall human? 😂 (Or sneaky BioWare once again messed with this image in editing.. I just KNOW that “Shotgun Girl” is Harding and they edited the weapon in the line up concept art to not look like Bianca and her height to resemble that of a human to fool us! I’m ONTO you, BioWare…. 👀)

- So.. the thing about Strife…

While in Tevinter Nights, he was described as a city elf from Starkhaven who eventually joined a Dalish clan, there is an interesting theory floating around that he might actually be an ancient elf. 👀 For one, he appears to be taller than the regular elf, which we know for a fact that at least some of the ancient elves were a lot taller than modern elves (Solas being a special little snowflake again lol).

His facial features are also quite similar to most of the qunari we’ve seen thus far, which could point to the theory of the Kossith being the product of some ancient elven experiments with dragon blood.

There’s also the matter of his name. “Strife” reminds me a lot of how the ancient elves like to take on a defining attribute/purpose in life as their namesake (e.g. Solas/Pride, Abelas/Sorrow, Felassan/Slow Arrow), so “Strife” might’ve literally been his name in ancient times that he now just translated into the common tongue.

- So as it turns out, the Veil Jumpers are simply an “alliance between the best Dalish mages, hunters and other non-elves willing and able to contain the threat of the chaos that reigns over the Arlathan Forest”, which has me wondering how many Dalish clans living here are currently missing a mage, what “containing the chaos” actually means and how they’re able to withstand the effects of some of the strange magic that we see throughout the volume. Also, how do non-elves even get to join them in the first place? Where do they come from?

- I gotta say, Irelin actually *does* look a lot like how I pictured her in the book. lol I like the fur she has going as a little hint at her shapeshifting abilites.

- We're also introduced to two completely new characters called Binde and Tist Tits (I SWEAR, I misspelled it the first time, but since I have the humor of a twelve year old and as a German, the pun is just too good to miss because "Binde" is also literally the German word for "menstrual pad", I'm just not gonna correct myself lmao), who don’t have much of a role or dialogue in this volume, but I still like their design a lot!

- So in conclusion, so far I’m loving the diversity of the Veil Jumpers, seeing as *cough* obviously this is one of the factions you’ll get to choose for your protagonist in DA4, so you won’t be limited to play as an elf *cough* and I’m very excited to learn and see more about them! :D

(- Btw, does anyone know what happened to Myrion? lol I would love to see him again in DA4, having joined Strife and the Veil Jumpers after the events in TN! <3)

- Varric interrupting Harding seems to be a running gag at this point. lol What also seems be a bad running gag by now is half the artists of this comic forgetting about Harding's freckles somehow. 😂 Well, at least they didn't forget about her scar this time around. lol

- Also, Varric and Harding starting off WAY too trusting again, when they don’t even know if these guys could be affiliated with Solas‘ agents or something? lol Also, they don’t even have anything to prove their claims here. Basically, there should be no reason for the Veil Jumpers to trust Varric and Harding either, especially given that they’re after some super powerful ancient artifact….. but we have to further a plot, so we’re friends now, I guess. lmao

- lmao Yeah, because apparently the Inquisition just can’t affort to send out more than these two goofballs to stop the end of the world. And I still admire your optimism here Harding, but again, given that Solas was already several months ahead of you in the last volume, how could you possibly still believe to find it before him or the Venatori at this point? 😂

- Well, I think you guys underestimate our indestructible Mr Varric “Plot Armor” Tethras. This man has survived two whole games, including several DLC, a book and like a dozen different comic series. He’ll manage, I’m sure. lmao

- I'm sorry, but how the hell does this map even WORK?? LMAO Like, how are you supposed to use this for any sense of orientation or direction?? I swear, this is what it looks like if I tell a six year old to draw a treasure map. 😂

- The weird map aside though, I think the concept of these different “trials” could make for some really fun features in DA4, gameplay wise? Like, can you imagine level design with entire upside down sections or messing with time like in the Prince of Persia games for example? I think there’s sooo much potential here for some really cool creative level design ideas!

- Now, this was super trippy! Switching places with spirits like that is definitely a first and I can’t even begin to think about what all this could indicate in terms of established lore?? Like, how does this work? What kind of spirits are those? I’ve got a lot of questions here.

- Also, hey look, Leopards! That’s new!

- THIS whole series of events messed with my head so much on my first read.. Like, I had to re-read this part four times and I still don‘t fully understand what happened here, but we’ll get back to this moment by the end (you know what I’m talking about). lol

Though I felt SO bad for making fun of Varric rapidly aging in my last post when I saw him suddenly collapse like that. 😶 Also, was I the only one thinking about what it must’ve been like for the ancient elves to experience something similar when Solas created the Veil and time got distorted, without even knowing what physically aging even meant before that? Like, that must’ve been horrifying as well.

- That’s certainly a VERY different kind of Varterral than what we’re used to. lol Though I really like this new design, gives me LOTR Ents vibes! Can’t wait to fight against one of these guys in DA4. *nervous laughter*

- I want to point out that this has to be the very first time in this entire comic so far that someone actually comes up with a plan before jumping into action. lmao Really appreciate you for that, Irelin. <3

- WOAH OK, hold on a second??? There’s so much to this panel that I don’t even know where to start. lol I literally gasped out loud.

Ok first off, the mural on the right. Obviously, this is the same mural that we saw in the 2020 teaser trailer, which indicates that this has to be the same place then, too, right? (Unless Solas is just walking around leaving his signature graffiti all over Thedas. lol Though I do wonder why this one looks way more “crumbled” than what we saw in the teaser?)

The mural on the left though is new and probably the juciest part about this whole volume for elven lore scholars. lol I’ve already seen many people speculate, so I’ll just say that my initial thought on this was also Ghilan’nain and Andruil!

So, there are two figures that appear to be female with some very familiar headpieces, who seem to embrace each other in some way. The shape of the headwear seems to also align with some of the symbols we’ve seen in the latest cinematic, which are widely assumed to represent the Evanuris.

And the upper figure looks a lot like the one seen in the teaser and the concept art, which going by the fandom’s most popular assumption, could very likely be Ghilan’nain.

As far as we know, the only females in the elven pantheon are Mythal, Sylaise, Andruil and Ghilan’nain. And out of those four, Ghilan’nain and Andruil are believed to have been lovers. So, if that’s what we’re seeing in this mural, that would actually be a huge deal, since, well, up until now, we didn’t even know what any of them looked like!!

There also seems to be an ominous third person, cramped up in the lower corner of the mural, which does kinda resemble the red lyrium idol, like the amazing @felassan​ has also pointed out in this post!

And while looking at this, I realized that those garments and headwear are also very reminiscent of some Tevinter designs we’ve seen, particularly the Archon’s outfit?

Which imo could hint at Tevinter once again just adopting a lot of ancient elven concepts into their own culture after they conquered them all these ages ago. Like, it’s surely no coincidence that the mage-ruler of the Imperium looks so much like the most powerful rulers of Elvhenan?

I’ve also seen people saying that the red female appears to be pregnant?? I’m not so sure though, it’s hard to tell from the angle and the way it’s draw. 🤔 But if true, it would definitely raise *a lot* of questions.

Though I can’t believe I haven’t really seen anyone actually point out the most baffling part about all of this!

Which is, why the flippin hell would Solas even choose to draw such imagery in the first place?? lmaoo (Assuming that the right mural was probably made by him, too. Which suggests that he drew this one as well.) Like, is Solas treating these ruins like his personal drafts for his secret tumblr side blog, drawing intimate GhilxAndy fanart?? Solas, you owe us ANSWERS, Sir!

And funny enough, the art style does make it kinda look like these murals are more like giant wallpapers rather than actual frescoes. lol

- ANYWAY, since there’s still a lot more to get to, let’s talk about the “Big Shocking Reveal”.

And I’m not talking about the fact that Solas has apparently taken the Crucious Stone long before they got there.. No, that wasn’t even remotely surprising to me. 😂

No, I’m of course talking about Varric thinking it was Solas who saved him from that Leopard. lmao

THIS made my head spin in so many ways, and it kinda still does lol, so I’ll make an attempt now to make sense of this the best I can.

So, let me get this straight… The way I take it, the supposed “Venatori assassin” ran up to Varric out of seemingly nowhere, shoved him aside, then Varric “aged back”, the Leopard jumped on the assassin instead, turned into a kitten and then the assassin essentially…. disintegrated? lol At least, that’s what it looks like to me...

All right. So if that’s what happened, then I feel like there are several possible scenarios here.

A) That Venatori guy was actually real, but was somehow manipulated by Solas to do this.

B) Solas made a spirit possess the guy or there was never a real person in there to begin with.

C) Solas actually pulled another “Bard” disguise and dressed up like the Venatori assassin himself (although I don’t know exactly what happened to him then when he “vanished” after that kitten attack lmao), which I guess would also retrospectively suggest that the Venatori who had been stalking Varric and Harding since volume 1 was also Solas himself all along……

*sigh*

You know, honestly I had this silly thought in the back of my mind from the very beginning, like I kept laughing to myself, what if this Venatori was actually Solas all along... but I guess I just refused to ever write it down in my previous posts because… I thought it was just.. too ridiculous? 😂

And I don’t particularly mean the disguise part, obviously ever since “the Bard”, anything is possible. lmao

No I mean.. Why.. the heck.. would Solas… stalk Varric and Harding, while setting them up on this loooong friggin goose chase through half of the country and leave all those clues for them to follow his tracks…. only for Varric.. to find this letter.. telling him NOT to interfere??? What was the purpose of all this then?? Like, how does this make sense?? 😂 Someone help me understand… That being said, I just really hope it was either case A or B. 😂 Or Varric is just.. wrong? lol OR I should simply stop questioning the logic of this very simple comic. 😂 As long as the actual game’s writing doesn’t leave me with a headache, I’m good.

Though in hindsight, it IS pretty funny how I even kept saying how crappy the Venatori was at his job. lol Like them leaving the X pattern on that deepstalker in volume 1 was such a strange thing to do? And if it turns out to be case C, then I can already see Solas trying to pull this number on us again in DA4. lmao I guess the game’s slogan will be “Trust no one.” It could be Solas in disguise. 💀

- I love how Solas apparently made his own customized Dread Wolf signet ring for a wax seal AND proceeded to even sign the letter with his name, as if there could be ANYONE else leaving a letter like this addressed to Varric in such a place. lmao This MAN!

- Oh dear, Solas really was like „Please Varric, elven mythology already turned me into their greatest villain in history, I don’t want to be one in yet another smuddy literature popular narrative…“ lmao

- I’m a little confused by this conclusion, seeing as the previous volume mentioned that magic had already “run wild in Arlathan Forest for at least a 1000 years”. So I thought this was nothing that happened just recently because of Solas‘ actions? Though maybe Irelin is talking about something else? Or the state of Arlathan has somehow gotten even stranger since Solas started to prepare something for his big ritual he mentioned in Tevinter Nights?

- It’s also interesting to note that, out of all the factions we’ve come across so far in this comic, the Veil Jumpers are now the only ones who actually got to know Solas‘ name and identity?

- So that’s where we’re leaving off and looking at the blurb for the final volume again, I’m curious to see how all this will now tie back to Minrathous and if the Crucious Stone is even going to play any significant role at all. lol As you might've noticed there were a lot of "why" questions here, which I doubt any of them will be answered in the final volume, so... I guess we're just left to wait for what's in the actual game then. 😂

If anything, the preview of the final cover does seem to complete our speculation bingo card, with how it continues to follow the pattern of the factions in the teaser/concept art/short stories from 2020.

So I assume the final faction, which is the only one still somewhat shrouded in mystery, is going to be have something to do with “The Viper“/Tarquin? 👀 So I’m very excited to find out who it’s gonna be and most of all, to get a look at the big city, Minrathous itself (and who knows, maybe we even get to see Solas in the very last panel or something)! Let’s see how all this ties in to DA4! :D

Okay we're stopping playing Sonic for now because it's nearly 1am, but some thoughts woo, completely unstructured because yeah. Important context but I'm not actually finished with all the stuff yet either soooo

I think this update is fucking awesome! Like so much so that I don't even know where to start. I guess the most obvious part is playable Tails, Knuckles and Amy - all of them are fucking fantastic. I'm not without my nitpicks for them - Tails not having a homing attack really sucks and Knuckles' gliding is clunky, Amy though actually perfect lol - but I think in terms of general feel as well as how multiple playable characters should be handled in 3D Sonic, they're great. Cause the thing is they're all fundamentally still Sonic, even down to having the boost and shit, so before you've even gotten the chance to play them you already know most of what to expect - the surprises just come in the form of their other mobility and combat options, but obviously everything controls the same and nobody's like ungodly slow or locked out of the spindash or anything like that, it's genuinely awesome. Honestly there's a degree to which they leave Sonic himself in the dust with their absolutely ridiculous aerial mobility, especially Tails who gets a certain upgrade that is like, actually fucking gamebreaking (and btw I'm completely about it lmao). But yeah no they're incredible, and it still feels downright unreal playing as them in a new 3D title. Would be more than happy for this to be the template going forward in terms of multiple characters.

That's very much the main new thing and core appeal of the update, so I'll have less to say going forward, but I'm still really enjoying everything else on the table. One of the main things is just that the story additions and various optional character conversations do a shockingly huge amount to flesh out the Ancients and the Starfall Islands - in a way that makes this entire aspect of what is now part of series lore and canon feel so much more rich and alive. All of a sudden we have some answers to "what's up with those ruins over there?", and it feels nice! Although one huge narrative L is that they clarify that Big's presence is an illusion crafted from Sonic's memories, which I think is significantly more boring than Big just comedically being here for whatever reason. That aside though I think the steps taken here to flesh out the world and these backstories and the Ancients themselves who play such a key role in the story anyway is a really good call.

Guardians and specifically island mystery whatever thing M120 aside as detailed in my last post, I also really enjoy the general difficulty increase within this update's content. The island puzzles are generally a lot more involved, and will take multiple steps to complete and/or operate on significantly stricter time limits - it's a nice level of challenge for the final major area of the game. Doubly so for the various platforming challenges - which are about on par with the "new koko" challenges from update 2, i.e. really quite long and involved and precarious and it's awesome and many of them make great use of Tails/Amy/Knuckles' different mobility from Sonic. On Sonic's platforming though, holy fuck am I glad they added more tower climbs. Not even kidding the Rhea Island tower climbing was one of my favourite things about base Frontiers, it's an extremely tense and enjoyable platforming challenge that takes full advantage of Sonic's capabilities and expects a lot out of you, the player, and your knowledge of how to use said capabilities to their fullest. And dog they added more of them? Shit got me hype as fuck dude, greatly enjoyed the challenge, and the feeling of getting better and better at specific sections over time as well as learning the layouts such that I knew where to aim for if I fell so I could lose the least progress and shit, they're just so kino man. I fucking adore them.

One thing I haven't really engaged with surprisingly, is the new Cyberspace levels - I've done 2 of them and I mainly went for just beating the levels as opposed to spending time working on the misc objectives, but the ones I did do were kinda sick as hell and the objectives are all new compared to just red rings and x amount of normal rings and clearing in x time, fuck some of them even have different goals amongst themselves. I think cyberspace levels really grew on me after a couple more stabs at each level so I'm excited to give more of these new ones a shot - I think I'm kinda just mentally prioritising them less than the story content and character upgrades lol. These do seem really awesome though, and again are a pretty great level of challenge, at the very least the two I did were like, Unleashed DLC level of challenge or something, albeit shorter obviously. The S-Rank times seem pretty damn tough this time around too, going through a cyberspace level once and having cleared all the missions without even trying this is not. And I'm super about that lmao.

Must say I find the tower trials I've done so far are, kinda bizarrely balanced. First one is defeat a few normal Soldier enemies in a more than generous time window, third one is defeat those circling dog things that you just parry in a very generous time window, fourth one was defeat a Ninja or Shinobi or Kunoichi or you know that family of enemy with ten entire minutes on the clock, and the second one is you've got 2 minutes to defeat 4 of the enemies that you need to cyloop their shell, which I beat with less than 5 seconds left because they set a certain stat level for Sonic so all I could do was cyloop, homing attack, stomp, repeat - with fairly little room for error else I'd run out of time. If I'm missing something obvious that makes that trial way easier then woe is me but I did find it very funny that it's the only one that took me more than one attempt.

I'm running out of things that come to mind immediately, so just gonna leave off by saying the new music fucks hard. Fun update, looking forward to completing it, and further ahead than that I'm looking forward to doing a playthrough of like, the complete Sonic Frontiers experience, updates 1 and 2 already did a lot of work to make the game just feel more like a complete product, so I'm excited to kind of holistically look at it now that it's done. Good stuff.

Writing Update(s)!!!

Hey guys!! I said I would use this account for giving updates on my current WIPs so!! Might as well JDHSFJG

The Kryptonian Jack Fenton fic!!! It Is being worked on!! I know what I want the destination for it to be; just a matter of figuring out the direction I want to take to get there!! I'd estimate I'm somewhere between a quarter and a fifth done, but I don't actually know lmao!! We'll see!! -

Ghostlights (Duke/Danny) fic!!! That one's even slower going, but I'm rotating it in my brain a Lot, so like. Emotionally it's being worked on!!! Couldn't give you an estimate for how far I am into it though; I've got no idea how long it's going to be!! -

Misc. WIPs!!! There's a Lot of those lmao!! Most of them are non-crossover DC, but I'm having a ton of fun with them!!! Don't wait up for them anytime soon, but hopefully I'll be able to post them some day!!!

Jamil jumped slightly at the contact, then sighed. 

“Come on,” Azul moved his free hand to Jamil’s, and  slowly slid the knife out of his hand.

There was slight instinctive resistance from Jamil, before the knife slid from his grasp and was placed carefully on the counter, only to be replaced in Jamil’s hand by Azul's own as he took hold and pulled Jamil out of the kitchen.

very much at random. it's just whenever i finish / have a chance to glance through for any glaring errors, which happens to usually be around midnight lol. but since all i write are self contained stories, i dont have any multi chaptered things that i feel like i have to be consistently updating - though even if i DID have multi chapters, id probs still just do it as i could. inspo just sorta comes to me at random lmao

ummmmmmm everyone ever LOL i always am constantly stressing out about if im doing a character justice. in twst i think the octavinelle boys are very difficult bc theyre like. god. theyre so strange but in such a PARTICULAR flavor of Being Strange. also highly intelligent characters are hard to write jkldfjds so like.... octavinelle... jamil... riddle... the list goes on but god i TRY!!!!

and in dndads even tho ive only like, barely started writing one(1) fic that will likely only have 2 characters speaking in it, i am def struggling with figuring out hermie lol. he's so fun but he has so little actual screen time so getting a handle on him is Difficult. but also that theater kid persona of hopping around what identities he wants to masquerade as i guess works as a bonus, gives ya that flexibility LOL

So my sleep deprived ass latched on to the idea of cosplaying Robin Sparkles from HIMYM and now it won't let go. I wanted a relatively easy & cheap costume to fix for an event and this popped into my mind all of a sudden and I was immediately like YES I'M GOING TO BEDAZZLE A JEAN JACKET IN 2023 OH MY GOD

I've already ordered the jacket from H&M :') Sadly the tint of denim will be slightly off but it was cheap and I have to make it work since I'm plus size so. Idk if I could dye the denim to make it look better? It's probably all gonna be like crackhead energy since I'm doing this on a budget and time crunch but still. I'm looking into wigs next but I can't figure out which would be better of these two:

I feel the first one looks more natural and is probably more accurate but the second one gives me Hannah Montana energy and seems more versatile for possible other cosplays. I'd also love to see what my ass would look like full blonde lmao. (Not that it'll probably matter because there'll be drinks at this event and I'm clumsy as fuck so I bet this wig will get snatched halfway through anyway)

I found some of the accessories already (lots of rhinestones and glittered starry patches) although I'm probably going to improvise on the jewelry. Also have to find a plus size jean skirt that'll work for me lmao. Kinda wanna find one with those cheerleader ruffles even though it's not accurate for the cosplay bc that'd be something I'd probably still wear after, those good old straight denim skirts I've always fucking hated on me. 😂

Anyway, I'll probably buy the rest of the shit tomorrow so I have enough time to bedazzle the jacket since the event is already next weekend 💀 I'm glad I could at least find most of it so soon bc normally whenever I seek something specific suddenly it's sold out everywhere. If anyone has input on some shit I could/should try let me know. I guess I'll post updates once I got the outfit together??? 😂

Hooo wheee! Life has been a little busy huh. Finally going to work again even if it is pretty much part time, other hobbies im keeping up with, trying to keep up on life admin and its going almost well! Shame im realizing i havent worked on my drawings in well over a month now 😅

Part of me is slightly dreading going back to them rn bc ive spent hours and hours on them already and they still need many hours before i post them....

You know that one guy on like tiktok/youtube shorts whos a really friendly old artist with a hobbit hole studio and does like 1hr paintings that look incredible? Obviously i dont expect myself being rusty and also not with years and years of experience to do the same but wouldn't that be the dream? To be able to just create and be done and happy with it in just an hour or a few and move on. How sad it is how many things i have started and not finished, outting in hours and hours where it doesnt really make even a super significant difference.

Also its that dinluke positivity week thing (god i hope this doesnt show up in the tag lmao sorry) i was really hyped months ago thinking its great prompts and great time to partake in my favourite fandom especially before february 2023 inevitably changes the scene in some way! But all of a sudden mid november is here and thats kinda terrifying! I have no clear idea for any of them, nothing im like desperate to draw and my current drawing doesnt really fit them either. Im thinking maybe i should try like, giving myself idk 2 hrs max to just make something beginning to end and if i hate it its ok i dont have to post it. But maybe i will and it could be fun! Sure i am too tired to properly do anything but idk, even making one post could give me excitement and hype for things i used to enjoy and something that isnt just real life and like job related.

To be fair i could also go for the much more guaranteed dopamine boost and play a video game ive been thinking of playing again for months. Sure i dunno which to choose and im not like super inclined to anything even tho i would like to play multiple of them again, just playing alone is a little boring i guess.

The more i spend just overthinking the quicker my sunday will be over and ill have to do next week and god knows ill be busy!! I should try drawing bc its there floating in my mind and could be easier to slip in into the day routine to do a little here and there rather than like, playing skyrim for 30 mins loll. Or oblivion bc for some reason ive been missing it. Or battlefront, even tho that is really hard to play without really trying my hardest and getting readjusted to the pace of it

LMAOO yk i’m a speedy typer plus i rlly want to get at least the reqs i have rn done so i can get back to updating long fics and brainstorming an idea for THE fic HAHA also i feel bad leaving requests in my inbox for too long especially because most of the reqs i get are anonymous so they don’t get notified when i post?? so like are they checking frequently whether i’ve answered and being disappointed every time…idk the thought makes me emo FKGJHS

THE OTOYA SWITCH UP WAS LEGENDARY bruh a combo of fwtkac and the idea for hollyhock immediately afterwards was so lethal like i couldn’t help it…honestly i think it’s because i’m as much a writer for plot as i am for characters if that makes sense?? like ofc i want the story to be abt a character i love but if i can come up with a good story plot that only works for a certain character i’ll convince myself to love them so that i can write the story (the best example of this is hurricanes / hummingbirds i wasn’t really a kashimo stan beforehand but he was one of the few characters that would rlly make sense for the plot i wanted so i became the world’s number one kashimo lover because of it) the downside is that i can lose interest faster because it’s not a character i absolutely love…that’s why my two finished long fics (endure for aot and pomegranate ink for jjk) managed to be completed — they were both for characters i actively liked, had plots i was interested in writing, had endings i could work towards, AND also followed canon?? idk why but fics set in canon are easier for me to finish even though i end up expanding on/diverging from canon usually anyways…that’s another reason why i haven’t come up with THE miraverse bllk fic yet because like we discussed girls + bllk setting don’t really work super well 😭 my typical fic plotting method is finding a hole in canon that i can insert a character into (ex reverse cursed technique users), making a character to fit that niche, and then seeing what happens to the plot with the existence of that character (plus the additional ones that develop from it like tullia, may, elakshi, etc etc) but there is no obvious place where a female character would work super well in bllk and without changing the entire plot TOO dramatically/being a mary sue soooo i’ve been struggling a bit but trust i will prevail
