40. SURAH AL-GHAFIR (The Forgiver) - 85 ayahs. this surah is also called Surah Al-Mumin (The Believer). Among the Hawameem surahs. 💡Theme: Sole on Tawheed. These are Surah's of Da'wah. Gives solace and comfort to Believers. 📍Summary: 1. The Qur'an is from Allah. Comforts the Prophet by saying the acts of previous nations. The warning to the disbelievers. 2. Comfort to the believers: the angels do dua for them, to be entered into paradise and save them from hell-fire. The loss of disbelievers, day of judgement belongs to Allah. 3. Allah is the Owner of all things & to Him belongs all dominion, He knows everything. Warns about the previous nations end. 4. The story of Prophet Musa (as). Lesson from the story: no matter how mighty Pharoah and his army, they could not help themselves against the wrath of Allah. 5. A Believer from the Pharoah's people who declared faith and conversed with peoppe to follow Allah. Their denial and hence they have a punishment in the hereafter. 6. The false leaders will take their people to Hell. Allah helps the Prophet and their followers. 7. Glory belongs to Allah alone. Allah is the creator of all things. 8. The end of those who dispute and deny Allah's book, their treatment in Hell-fire. 9. One must take lessons from the stories of past nations. IKHLASKAN IBADAH KERANA ALLAH فَادْعُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ Maka sembahlah Allah (tanpa mensyirikkan-Nya) dengan mengikhlaskan ibadat kepada-Nya, meskipun orang-orang kafir tidak menyukai(nya) [Surah Ghafir: 14] Surah Ghafir turut dikenali dgn nama Surah Mu'min (dikisahkan seorang lelaki beriman dari kalangan pembesar Firaun yg menyembunyikan imannya). Ianya permulaan kumpulan surah hamimaat (surah dimulai huruf ha dan mim) atau kumpulan surah sab'u hawamiim (7 surah ha mim: bermula dari Surah Ghafir sehingga Surah al-Ahqaf. 7 surah ini dimulai Ha Mim dan kemudian Allah menyebut tentang al-Quran. Surah Ghafir menjelaskan konsep Tauhid sebenar dlm berdoa kepada Allah dan 6 surah selepasnya itu menceritakan kekeliruan umat dlm berdoa / beribadah kpd Allah Pada permulaan surah ini terkandung doa para Malaikat Pemikul Arasy dan Malaikat di sekelilingnya memohon keampunan dan keselamatan bagi orang yg beriman (rujuk ayat 7-9) SETIAP AMAL BERGANTUNG KEPADA NIAT “Daripada Amirul Mukminin ‘Umar ibn al-Katthab r.a beliau berkata: Aku mendengar Rasulullah S.A.W bersabda (yg bermaksud): Bahawa sesungguhnya setiap amalan itu bergantung kepada niat, dan bahawa sesungguhnya bagi setiap orang apa yang dia niatkan. Barangsiapa yang hijrahnya menuju kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya, maka hijrahnya kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya. Barangsiapa yang hijrahnya kerana dunia yang dia mahu mencari habuannya, atau kerana seorang perempuan yang dia mahu kahwininya, maka hijrahnya ke arah perkara yang ditujuinya itu. [Muttafaqun alaih] ALLAH MENILAI IKHLASNYA HATI Drpd Abu Hurairah r.a, ia berkata: Rasulullah S.A.W pernah bersabda: ‎ اِنَّ اللهَ لاَ يَنْظُرُ اِلىَ اَجْسَامِكُمْ ‎وَلاَ اِلىَ صُوَرِكُمْ وَ لٰكِنْ يَنْظُرُ اِلىَ قُلُوْبِكُمْ “Sesungguhnya Allah tidak melihat (menilai) bentuk tubuhmu dan tidak pula menilai kebagusan wajahmu, tetapi Allah melihat (menilai) keikhlasan hatimu”.
