In the green and serene environs of the #BhagwanMahavirNationalPark flow the majestic Tambdi #SurlaWaterfalls. Less famous than the neighbouring Dudhsagar Falls, these have an untouched beauty that hasto be seen to be believed. #TheTambdiSurlaFalls lie inside the #BhagwanMahavirWildlifeSanctuary, on the #Goa-#Karnataka border. They are approximately 86 km from #Panjim, and you would need to have your own or a hired transport options to reach them. Although these are named after the #TambadiSurlaTemple, the falls themselves are some distance away from the temple. The small but moderately difficult #TambdiSurlaWaterfalls Trek is likely to reward you with amazing and refreshing views of the verdant forests. You can also spot some rare snakes like the Common Krait, Russel's Viper, or the more common - Vine snake. Trekking among this diversity of nature, the musical chirping of the birds and flitting butterflies is an experience that you are unlikely to forget in a hurry. The #TambdiSurla trek can take you anywhere between 90 minutes to 120 minutes to finish, and the grade is moderate. It passes through dense forests and gushing streams, so make sure you wear clothes that are fully covered.
