⤷ gender neutral, ambiguous race, and any size reader. Requests are open, thank you for reading!
a/n: you can take the relationship with the characters as romantic or platonic - completely up to you. Also I feel like this is a neurodivergent thing, where we pick something that looks shiny, cute or weird and gift it to someone we love. It’s the neurotypicals that usually think it’s weird...
ᴹᵃˢᵗᵉʳˡᶤˢᵗ
𝑺𝑭𝑾🌿
𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐲 (1000% neurodivergent. Most likely has AuDHD)
・Running to Lucy to told her to shut her eyes and hold our her hands
・Would undoubtedly take the rock excitedly
・Actually would be out in the woods looking at pretty rocks with you in the first place
“Ooh this one actually shines in the light!” She says as she holds it up to the sun. Without realising, she had found a citrine gemstone.
・There are many different rocks in Narnia, and because of the magic, there’s no ... logic, to what can be found
・It makes humans very interested
・Both of you returning back to the castle covered in dirt but with sacks full of rocks (Peter says you can only choose your favourite 3 and the rest have to be left outside)
・Is definitely a hobby for you and Lucy
・It’s what you bonded over in the beginning of your friendship
・Has a collection in her room that she’s specifically told the servants not to get rid of (because the majority of the collection are just plain rocks)
・Would have a smooth stone that she keeps in her pocket to rub - as a form of stimming
𝐄𝐝𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐝 (Is neurodivergent, but has masked for so long that he doesn’t know how to unmask)
・Is used to Lucy giving him trinkets, ribbons, rocks, shells etc when they were young
・So when you present him the rock that “reminded you of him,” he blushes a little and thanks you
・He absolutely loves when people tell him “oh this made me think of you,” and it’s a positive thing ??? It blows his mind
・Edmund has no judgement. He just thinks it’s normal. Unlike some people who think it’s just plain weird (idk why they think it’s weird. It’s so human to want to collect things.)
・Edmund actually has a momento of each place that he’s visited. Both in Narnia and the human world.
・At home he has snow globes, pins, train tickets, pens, pamphlets, etc in his room, to remind him of all the places his been. And that war won’t be forever. That the world has a lot to offer.
・However, Edmund can agree that the collectible items are much better in Narnia
・Everything feels alive with magic, especially when Aslan is near
𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧 (I’m actually thinking a lil neurodivergent. Maybe even autistic??)
・Like Edmund, she’s used to when Lucy would bring her random objects
・Hence why you found it so easy to give her things you thought were cool
・This was a common occurance, and it was nearly a daily routine for Susan to empty out her pockets of a night and see random objects
・Sometimes when she’s too focused on something, you’ll just slip the things into her pockets; notes, reminders, things she’s forgotten to take with her, silly little presents etc.
・She always knows it’s you
・Not in a weird way - but she can smell you, so she isn’t startled by your presence ... like ever
・So when you gave her the rock, a glinting piece of labradorite, she held it up to the light and moved it about. Making it flash here and there.
・She was very impressed
“This will go great with the collection!”
𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 (is definitely neurotypical. One of the judgy ones as well, until you - who opens his mind.)
・The least ... chill about it.
・Thinks collecting things is a waste of time unless they serve a purpose
・Has made you angry a few times because of it
・Lucy had to tell him to be nicer because the way he was going about it ... god he was being so headstrong
・So now he goes about it a lot more gently (because he’s gotten to know you better as well. You’re an important person in his life and he doesn’t want to upset you)
・So when you show him, he nods his head and does a weird, “oh thanks,” with furrowed brows.
・He doesn’t understand that it’s a token of your love/feelings toward him
・Not until you scrunch your face up and explain that to him
・And then he’s like, “oh wow. Okay then, I love it! Thank you - please give it to me,” and he’s chasing you around the room.
𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧 (Not neurodivergent but loves people who are different and think out of the box)
・You had found him in the training yard, sweaty and out of breath
・Although in an established relationship, you still take the time to explain why you do certain things and what certain things mean to you, why you do certain things etc.
・Even if the word neurodivergent doesn’t exist yet, the people do. And are known as the poets, writers, creators, the intelligent, the weird, the hermits.
・And Caspian has always had an open-mind. No matter what, he’s always gone into things thinking about different points of view
・So a lot of things happened naturally with Caspian. And explaining yourself was easy because he understood a lot of your concepts
・When you gave him the rock, you were incredibly nervous but still desperate to show Caspian because it was a part of your background - collecting things, and you wanted to share that with him
・In all truthfulness, Caspian was expecting something much weirder to happen by the way you were acting
・But when you gave him the rock, his response gave you butterflies
“Thank you, my love, I will cherish it always.”
・And he stayed true to his promise
・Somehow he got a blacksmith to turn it into a ring and he wore it always
𝐄𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐞 (I reckon he’s autistic tbh, so neurodivergent 10/10)
・Being amongst the Narnian people was like nothing you could have ever imagined
・But what goes significantly unnoticed is the landscape and what would be normal in our world is 10x more magical in Narnia
・So you and Eustace have absolute field days just spending hours looking through this new world
・When you stumble across this particular rock, it takes your breath away and you instantly have to show Eustace
・Getting his attention was a bit difficult though but once you had it, he was very excited
・When you place it in his hands, he examines it, to see if it’s a geode or something that can be cracked open
・His mind is an endless pit of scientific facts
・But you didn’t give it to him for scientific purposes
・You gave Eustace the stone because ... well it represented something
・Where Eustace is facts, you’re fiction - a poet, at times
・And you wanted him to know how unyielding your feelings for him are
・However, Eustace did crack it open. Even after your pleads not to, yet his suspicions were right. Because inside it was a glimmering mass of shimmering rock pieces
𝐀𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧 (understands the way of the world and how people’s minds work so he is neither neurotypical or neurodivergent - he just ... is). Also like, you can see Aslan in a romantic way if you want, but I’m kinda writing him as this father figure
・You didn’t mean to interrupt the meeting but you were too excited to wait to show Aslan the cool rock you’d found
・It was jagged but had reflective, almost glittering elements when you moved it around
・It looked ... magical
・And you wanted to ask if it might be
・So when you ran into the map room, where Aslan and a few other guards were, you enthusiastically brandished it in front of him
“Look! Look what I found! For you-”
・Very gracious
・Thanked you immediately while the others around you look at you like you’re crazy
・If anyone says anything mean about you, he will call them out
・You think he just forgets about them but he actually keeps everything you give him
・He can tell exactly where you got the rock from; which woods, lake or ocean. He’s so intune with Narnia that every little thing is easy for him to identify
・Encourages you to find more
・And gives you tips on the best places to find more cool things
𝐌𝐫 𝐓𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐮𝐬 (Yes, neurodivergent. Kinda goblin brained, but likes his alone time and collecting of things)
・It was a bit of a down day and you could see his frown. Wanting to brighten his day you went on a stroll, trying to find a pretty flower or a nice bunch of herbs
・But you couldn’t find either of those things
・Instead, you came across a tree stump with such smooth round rocks at the base.
・They looked so ... satisfying
・A perfect egg-shaped stone, close to one you’d seen Lucy playing with from time to time
・Running back home, you called out for Tumnus, and as he stood in front of you, you told him to hold out his hands
“Hmm...,” he said with a suspicious look, but obeyed.
・When you put it in his hands he blushed immediately. Knowing that you know how much he loves knick knacks and collecting objects... it made his day a lot better
・I feel like this could be a Narnian custom in a way. Like...to show your affection for the one you love, you go out in nature and find something that reminds you of them???

narnia headcanons part two!
You ask and I shall deliver! ...several months late. Part 1
— Peter would totally be that kind of freak who loves mornings. He’s just the biggest morning person, gets up early, other weird shit etc. Edmund is an evening/night person, and (rightfully) calls Peter crazy for being so happy and energised in the mornings. Lucy and Susan are just normal.
— They’re all amazingly really good at cooking but Peter is the best.
— Lucy is the BIGGEST musical theatre fan. Ever since her dad took her to see one for her 8th birthday she’s been obsessed with them. She has a pretty good voice and has been in every musical production at her school, though she’s never played the lead, but this is by choice. She much prefers playing secondary characters. Of course her siblings have come and seen every single one.
— Now, for a way more silly one: I’ve gone on record several times before saying that Peter is a slut, and I stand by this. Some people seem to think that this is impossible since he’d 100% be such a gentleman, but those things aren’t mutually exclusive. You can have sex with loads of people and be totally respectful to all of them. What seemingly does contradict this, however, is that I’ve also said before that Peter is a hopeless romantic, but I actually think it feeds into each other pretty nicely. I see Peter as the kind of person that would constantly rush into new relationships, but because he’s more in love with the idea of love than the actual person, they inevitably don’t last very long at all. This actually makes sense with the slut part because psychologically, having sex with someone early in the relationship makes you think that you’re more in love than you actually are. This is why I think, that for Peter to be able to find a relationship that actually lasts, which is what he wants, the love needs to grow over time with a person he initially didn’t see in that way. Maybe this is just me and my obsession with love that comes from unexpected places though.
— Already covered this but Edmund is def a closeted swiftie. Lucy is also a swiftie and she knows this, causing endless teasing but he still always denies it. Susan will listen to her occasionally. Peter never got into her music but one day he listened to Never Grow Up and cried for five hours straight. Eustace absolutely hates taylor swift.
— Ever thought about what the Pevensies’ favourite Disney movies would be? Well I have. Edmund’s favourite is Mulan, obviously. Reflection IS an Edmund song, I will not take any criticism on this. Also he definitely had a crush on bisexual legend Lee Chang, cause why wouldn’t he? Peter’s favourite is Aladdin. I have no other reason for thinking this other than vibes. Susan’s favourite is The Little Mermaid, and Lucy has a mental break down every time someone asks her to pick her favourite Disney movie.
Not as many this time but I’ll probably still add more lol

Ok we all talk about the Pevensies' trauma at returning to Earth at the end of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and their trouble readjusting to life there again but think of all the funny/good parts too
They return from the country, and their mom is surprised when all her children hug her at the station. Even Peter, who thinks he's all grown up. Even Edmund, who went away surly and withdrawn. She doesn't know her children haven't seen her in over a decade.
They miss their dear Cair Paravel, but they absolutely do not miss its chamber pots. Indoor plumbing is amazing.
It takes a while to remember how modern technology works, though. How many heart attacks did the siblings give their parents or the professor because they walked into a dark room only to turn on the light and find the children sitting there in the dark. (They were by the window! There was still plenty of light from the sunset! They would have gotten a candle in a minute!) The kids sheepishly remember oh yeah electricity is a thing.
(Edmund has a new electric torch in Prince Caspian. He was so excited to get that torch. Almost more excited than you'd think a kid his age would be, and his parents expect Peter at least to tease him, but the siblings all agree light in your hand at the touch of a switch is terrific.)
Suddenly getting really high grades in some subjects and terrible in others. Their grammar, reading comprehension, spelling, vocab, even penmanship? Amazing. History and geography? They don't remember anything. One time in class Susan forgets Earth is round and wants to die.
Also they can never remember what the date is supposed to be because Narnia uses different months and years. They can estimate time really well by looking at the sun though, and Edmund at least can always tell which way is north etc without thinking about it (again, using the sun)
Okay but how many times did they go to pick something up or reach something and realize they are so much shorter and less muscled than they expect? It's a common sight to see Peter climbing on counters to reach a top cabinet, grumbling about how he's High King this is demeaning. (No he never takes the extra five seconds to grab a stool. He will climb that shelf.)
Peter and Susan being delighted because they are no longer almost thirty. (In a few years Edmund and Lucy will tease them about being old and their parents will not understand.)
Lucy doesn't have to deal with periods anymore for a few years yet. Susan might not either. Heck yeah
Lucy loves to climb into her siblings' laps and be cuddled. In Narnia she eventually she grew too big, but now she is small and snuggleable again. Peter is her favorite, and if she's upset, he'll tickle her and tell bad jokes until she's smiling again, but really she loves cuddling with all her family. She grew up without her parents; how many times did she just want to crawl into her mom's lap and her mom was a world away? Imagine the first time she realizes she can now. Or, imagine one day, a cold and grey sort of day, when the rain is pattering against the windows, and it sounds like the rain on the windows of the Professor's house, that first day they went exploring. It sounds like the day they played hide and seek. It sounds so like the rain on the windows of Cair Paravel, that if Lucy closes her eyes she can imagine she's back there, having tea and chatting with Mr. Tumnus before the fireplace of her room, and soon the rain will stop, and they will go out on the balcony and wave to the naiads and the dryads and the mermaids, who have come out to enjoy the rain and visit one other on the banks of the Great River winding past Cair Paravel down to the sea.
But if Lucy looks out the window, all she'll see is the rain over London, so it's not only a cold and grey sort of day, it's a lonely sort of day too.
Susan and Edmund are playing chess in the living room (and they must have studied with Professor Kirke, thinks their mother, because they certainly weren't that good when they left). Lucy goes over to Edmund, and oh dear, thinks their mother, now he's going to call her a baby and be horrible to her, but instead he picks her up and puts her on his lap without even taking his eyes off the chessboard; it's simply a matter of course.
"Doesn't the rain sound familiar?" says Lucy in a solemn, wistful way.
Their mother doesn't know what that means, but her siblings must, because Susan says, "Yes, Lu, it does,” and Edmund gives her a little hug with his free arm as she tucks herself under his chin to watch the chess match.
(Five minutes later there is a crash from the next room as Peter falls off a counter. Their mother does not understand the words he must have picked up from the Professor, but he's grounded for them anyway. His siblings have no respect for their High King, because they refuse to stop laughing.)

Can we talk about how chaotic Narnian battles would feel?? Especially in Prince Caspian. Like, imagine you’re a little Telmarine soldier waiting for the catapults to go and you’ve got all your regiments in nice orderly rows and these two 16 year olds suddenly yell “charge” and the ground opens up beneath you, a mouse with a sword the size of a large pencil takes out your bestie, a griffin drops a dwarf 5 ft away from you and he comes up swinging. As you try to rationalize this, you’re stabbed by a twelve year old with a British accent. Finally, a really freaking big lion shows up, roars, and your entire army collectively pees their pants. At one point in the movie (yes I know the movies aren’t quite the same as the book but they’re still good) Peter says like “we have the element of surprise” like dude, you have drafted the trees I’m pretty sure everyone’s gonna be surprised no matter what.

for their service, narnia blesses the pevensies with hidden powers to carry back to earth.
Tumblr media
peter used to hate prophecies. it's what dragged him and his siblings into a war his parents wanted him to avoid. but when the feeling of deja vu turns into experiencing brief visions that predict the following events here on earth, he can't really mind. the only strange part is that his ability is exclusive to events revolving around his siblings. he gives susan extra cash in her purse to take a taxi because she'll miss the bus, drives to lucy's school to drop off the homework she forgot in her room, tosses edmund an umbrella that the boy insists he won't need, except he does.
when his parents ask about it, noticing how their eldest son manages to be prepared for nearly everything, peter replies with 'gut instinct'. his siblings know better. they leave his knack for prophecy unmentioned in their conversations, since the memory of leaving home is still fresh, but edmund, susan, and lucy are aware of how much this ability means to him. he has always been trying to look out for them and protect them. in this way, thanks to narnia, he can.
Tumblr media
there is a newfound power in susan's voice that wasn't there before. aside from her siblings, people listen to her intently, much to her curiosity. from the strict professor who provides her an extension despite not having an extension policy to the boy who backs off when she tells him no, susan finds that her words fall easily on their ears and they receive it graciously. she doesn't know how to feel about it. she's grateful, of course, but such a power can be dangerous if exploited. she shudders. she would rather perish than be caught abusing her voice and power, as strange as that sounds in her time.
luckily, as aforementioned, her siblings are immune to her ability to charmspeak, and they gently encourage her to use her gift to become the harbinger of change she was always meant to be. the sociology major is now somewhat easier to endure, what with her peers and professors starting to be receptive to the fresh, new ideas she introduces, ideas that worked in narnia and would work even better here. she considers edmund's suggestion to become a public speaker.
Tumblr media
after having fallen to temptation with the white witch's enchanted turkish delight, edmund can ingest any poison without experiencing its effects. he learns about this ability when he confronts a man for spiking a woman's drink. the man insists he didn't, so to challenge him, edmund spontaneously grabs the glass from the lady's hand and tips it up. he meant to feign the drinking; however, when the man shouts in alarm and attempts to slap the glass away, the liquid ends up sliding roughly against his throat. judging from that reaction alone, edmund knocks him out cold and calls the police.
it's an awkward ride with the paramedics. aside from the very brief choking for a drink he didn't mean to down, the lack of reaction baffles all of them; nonetheless, his idea to accept medical attention wasn't entirely unfounded as they did detect the toxin in his body. the doctor tells him he's lucky to even be alive. edmund smiles. nothing he hasn't heard before.
Tumblr media
lucy's kisses are healing, as if laced with the juice from the cordial she carried in narnia. her mother always planted small pecks on her injuries when she was a child and the practice carries over to her for her siblings. when peter runs into the wrong sort of folk in the alleyway, she doesn't hesitate to kiss the cuts and bruises on his knuckles over their bandages. they heal within two hours. this ability remains largely undiscovered until one of peter's friends ask him how he always manages to heal so quickly. peter is quick to trace it back to lucy.
the youngest pevensie is delighted to learn that a part of narnia came back with her and it takes a great deal of convincing to prevent her from running to injured children and kissing them. narnians would welcome such affection, but humans of this world aren't so nearly understanding. so lucy comes up with what she believes is a good solution. she becomes a babysitter for a bit, then a daycare worker. giving kids kisses shouldn't be too much of an issue now, right?

Random thoughts on modern pevensie family
Today's issue: Taylor Swift
(sorry for my bad english. it's not my first lenguage and is hard)
Susan is a swiftie
She loves her but their siblings not so much
Peter wouldn't care
And Lucy probably sing her songs sometimes because Susan plays them all the time
But Edmund is a hater
I think he's was the kind of guy who just talk bad about taylor to annoy his sister
Before lww of course
When they get crowded susan admits to mrs beaver once that she kinda miss taylor
She is always quoting songs and the narnians eventually ended up covering at balls
Narnians don't exactly understand what a celebrity is so they think that Taylor is probably an important lady in spare oom
And that's how they called her Lady Taylor
The siblings find this hilarious and it's like an inside joke between them where they also start to quote taylor swifts songs like it was the Bible
"who is lady taylor" ask one young faun once
"she is a very important figure for the kings and queens" answer their mother "she is the mentor of queen Susan"
When they come back to England the lady taylor joke stays tho
I can see one them having a bad day and then the other being like "well as lady taylor says you got to shake it off"
Eventually they all ended up being big fans of her
And that's really funny for their mother, specially in edmund's case
"Didn't you hate that girl?"
"idk what you talking about. anti hero is about me"

I don't know if you're answering questions, but I just finished watching LWW and I NEED to know. How do you thinks the Pevensies got their titles in the books cuz I cannot come up with nothing
I am indeed answering asks *in theory*, but I barely get any 😂
Now, this is just getting into person headcanons, I have fairly specific and fairly board ideas about it.
The Magnificent
Peter’s title came first, I think. It started among the soldiers in the battle between the Narnians and Jadis’ forces. He had barely trained, he was young, he stood his ground and fought regardless.
Later, he showed his skill as a High King, in many ways. He was a great leader, a kind ruler, a strong soldier, even though he didn’t love the blade. And even though he wouldn’t think so, when they met him, everyone knew, he was Magnificent.
The Gentle
Susan was first thought of as gentle by the mice who untied Aslan on the stone table. Despite her fear of mice, she didn’t hurt them. It was soon after Aslan gifted the mice with their role as Talking Beasts, they spread the tale, and the small Beasts knew she would be fair and kind to them. She avoided the battle all that she could, she worried for her family, she cared for the small.
Perhaps she had a bit of a temper, but those near her knew she was Gentle.
The Just
Edmund never felt worthy of this title even years later. He knew how it was to be controlled by evil, to be under the influence of someone with more poor, to be a betrayer. When those who broke the law, when those who had been hurt, when those who were apologetic came before the throne, his siblings trusted his judgement. He was first called this when a young supporter of the White Witch was brought before them. He only helped him find his way again.
Despite it all, he was Just.
The Valiant
Lucy’s title caught on later than Peter’s, and was mainly spread by things that Susan said. There was no question of the young queen’s bravery, as Aslan himself said that if she was any braver, she would be a lioness. She was the most beloved, and everyone knew her heart was true.
Lucy, as brave as a lioness, was Valiant from the day she stepped into Narnia

for long i struggled to create an archetype for each of the pevensie siblings and assign them all a season of the year. i think i can now safely say they remind me of transitions between the seasons.
susan is a crisp breeze and the last breathtakingly beautiful icicles of cruel winter that transition into sweet snowdrops and daffodils peeking through a soft blanket of sparkly frost. she is the bringer of new hope and beginnings, for she often needs plenty encouragement herself. narnia brought out the best of her abilities. she steps first into the forest after a seasonal hibernation and her arrow sets motion to the first violets, rabbits and songbirds to wake up.
lucy takes the blooming to a whole new level, all flora and fauna dance with her swaying hair and her singing floods the air in warmth and pollen. her soul attracts the sun's magic from all corners of narnia and into your body. she is as playful and inquisitive as a fawn, yet fierce enough for the whole herd. she breathes life into the old apple tree that is her throne, and wildflowers make her crown.
peter is the ruler of the sweet aftermath, the sap and honey dripping from harvested trees as he slices the ripe fruit with his sword in gleeful celebration. his presence in the room roars respect but puts others at ease with his easy-going nature that is so correspondent with the maturity of the sun and fine wine that can be collected at this time. good spirits are drawn to him in nights slowly creeping closer and he welcomes prosperity into the country, so that his people are ready for the harsher season to come.
edmund, most sensible of all, bears the burden of the night in his mind, and he owns up bravely to this role brought on by fate. it wasn't his fault. but he understands no one else could so wisely and calmly deal with the nightmares lurking by the shortest day of the year. he is quick with decisions and no amount of stress could ever distract him from keeping his closest ones safe and sound in the cruel talons of winter. the gloomy rainy days are spent quietly reflecting and enganing the mind and curiosity thanks to this dedicated protector.

His soldiers have seen the High King stand atop a hill drenched in blood. Have heard him uttered a battle cry so full of rage their bones rattled. Have felt the edge of his blade on their skin in training.
They fear him.
His siblings have seen the High King chase the littlest of them in a game of tag. Have heard his joy filled laugh from across a room. Have felt his arms around them in a warm embrace.
They love him.
Soldiers have sat around a fire and spoken of him. The ones who have only seen him on the field. The ones who go home and tell their families of the tariffing High King who stands ten feet tall and whose teeth are stained with the blood of his enemies. They have called him “The Magnificent” like he is some lofty god of war and rage. As if calling him his true name is meant for only the most important of people.
His siblings have sat at the dinner table with him. Bickering and poking fun at one another. There, at that table he is simply a tiresome older brother. Someone far too annoying to be anyone but a brother. The titles are stripped from his shoulders like a weight being lifted and he is left as only truest version of himself. Peter Pevensie. Susan, Edmond, and Lucy’s older brother. And that's the only thing he really ever wants to be.

🌿ISTJ 🍁Ravenclaw 📜Neutral Good 🔮Virgo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Libra Rising
𝑺𝑭𝑾 🌿
・You aren’t the partner Susan thought she would end up with. But somehow you ended up being better than anyone she could have imagined
・Where Susan is logical, you’re emotional. She sees problems and automatically goes into solution mode, where you see a problem ... and panic
・You make her laugh all the time, and that’s what one of the things she loves most about you
・You can make any situation light-hearted somehow. Even if you don’t mean to. May it be by your facial expressions, your off-hand comments or eye rolling. You just have a way of making things seem not so horrible
・You aren’t like any of her siblings, but if you had to be compared, then Lucy would be the closest in personality. You both get along very well. But you do hold a special place in your heart for Edmund. Because he still kicks himself for his actions with the White Witch
・You ... endure Peter... well, at first you did. At first you hated him. He was an arrogant ass (and sometimes still is) but you grew to love him too. Because of one night when a lord from another kingdom came and said you shouldn’t get married to Susan because of your gender
・Peter stood up for you. He didn’t take those comments lightly and reminded the lord who was in charge.
・And afterwards, when it was just the four Pevensies and you, you and Susan ran and hugged Peter.
・He sees you as another sister, and whenever he sees you, he kisses both your cheeks and hugs you tightly
・Because you bring a lot of joy, wherever you go
・Your love story with Susan started with a sprained foot and a few tears. Absolute romance.
・And from that riding accident grew affection, friendship and love.
・You like to get Susan leather-bound journals so that she can record all the information she wants about Narnia.
・You can often find the second oldest Pevensie in the library, the throne room (she’s the one who listens to the qualms and issues of the Narnias) or out riding
・Susan has shown you how to shoot an arrow and you aren’t that bad at it. But you prefer the little dagger that Lucy gave to you one Christmas
・You and Susan married three years after knowing each other (and of course being in a relationship).
・Edmund was the one who spurred Susan into action. Because you felt like yuou didn’t have the authority to ask for her hand
・Your shared quarters are the highest in the castle. Because Susan loves going to the tallest part of the castle and watching the stars (she loves astronomy)
・A lot of your conversations are you ranting and Susan nodding along. She’s learned not to tell you to ‘look at the other person’s perspective’. Because you just want her to listen and AGREE with you
・Susan loves hot baths, and you’ll often make one up for her after a long day
・Oh and you LOVE shining the Pevensie’s crowns. Even though they don’t expect you to ... and often tell you not to because that’s not your station... you love making them sparkle. And it takes a chore away from the servants
・You love pulling jokes on Peter and Edmund with Lucy. She follows you around like a lost puppy
・There’s an owl that visits the pair of you often. You thought maybe he just liked to fly to your window because he’s always done that. But you’ve been seeing him follow you
𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝑷𝒆𝒕 𝑵𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝒀𝒐𝒖: Now, Susan wasn’t so into giving you a pet name. She thought they were a bit silly, but now she’s gotten used to the idea of love. She calls you darling, and only darling. It’s a very special name. One that has a lot of love behind it, because it’s what her mother calls her and her siblings.
𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒂𝒈𝒆: Gift-giving and Words of Affirmation. Susan spends a lot of time thinking of the perfect gifts for you. Even if it isn’t your birthday, or an anniversary or special holiday. Whenever the idea hits, Susan has to get you a gift. But they’re very intricate and well-thought out. For example, she gave you a necklace that was pure gold, with different gemstones to represent you, her and her siblings (since they’ve become family to you):

(imagine the surrounding stones in rainbow order with red (ruby) in the middle, then garnet, citrine, emerald, sapphire and amethyst.)
The necklace isn’t as big as it looks in the image, and the gold gleams in the sunlight. It’s a gift she thought hard on, and actually went to each sibling to have their input. It made you feel so welcomed.

𝑹𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝑻𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒔:
✧ Logical, Doesn’t Show Emotion Until She Knows The Full Story (Susan) x Dramatic, Will Cause A Scene (You)
✧ Dumbass (You) x Oh God, I Guess That’s My Dumbass (Susan)
  ✧ Mature/Responsible (Susan) x Snarky/Fierce (You)

Peter is Gryffindor, Susan is Ravenclaw, Edmund is Slytherin and Lucy is Hufflepuff. Alright but hear me out:
Lucy is Gryffindor. Brave Lucy, who didn't hesitate to go into an unknown magical world. She was ready to go to war, fighting with nothing more than a dagger. The same Lucy to who Aslan said "If you were any braver, you would be a lioness" ?
Peter is Hufflepuff. Peter for his unfailing loyalty, who was ready to go to war for his sister and for people he didn't know previously but already holds close to his heart. Peter who, when none of their parents were present, had to take care of his family himself. The same who, far before his younger brother came back, had already forgiven him.
Edmund is Ravenclaw. He is the wise one, the one who thinks before talking. Edmund of the silver tongue. Edmund learned from the harsher, dark(er) part of Narnia, and learned from his mistakes
And of course (and I won't take any criticism) Susan is Slytherin. Because although she is the most logical one, she knew how to use her charms to get what she wanted. Susan who's words could be like poison. She is the ambitious one, she uses her wit to get what she wants

Headcanons about when the Pevensie siblings returned to England (the first time)
When they came back to England through the wardrobe and they returned to their younger bodies, naturally all the scars they received in Narnia disappeared. All but one, the one in on Edmund’s stomach remained, the one he got at his first battle. No one really knew why he still had it, why it hadn’t disappeared it just didn’t. It was there and it served as a constant reminder of the white witch, that the experience had been real.
Everyone noticed a change in the Pevensies when they came back from the countryside. That included their teachers.
Lucy was suddenly a very clever girl, not that she hadn’t been before, but now she had a maturity to her. Her reading ability had improved immensely and she wrote the most beautiful poems.
Edmund’s demeanour had turned a whole 180°. He was more strategic, less rash. It was way more difficult to make him mad, he usually just responded with a witty comeback. And he seemed to put more effort into his work. He had always been smart, but now he was outstanding. He passed all his classes with ease, except for history that is (he kept forgetting that they had never had a king named Frank). He had also gotten very much better at chess, there was no one in the whole school they could beat him, not even the English teacher Mr. Evenly that had gotten very far in the English championship in chess. (Let’s pretend that exists even if it doesn’t)
Susan stood straighter and had a more regal look to her demeanour, not in a way that she expected everyone to obey her or anything like that. It was just very difficult not to respect her. She had gotten very good at resolving conflicts and avoid violence.
Peter had also changed a lot, he was more mature but also more rash in his decisions. He started acting more with his fists (that didn’t really start until it had been about half a year). He did write amazing novels though, stories about battles. Battles with medieval methods and weapons. The details were incredible, it was almost as he’d been in the battles himself.
They all had gotten a whole lot better at swimming. Edmund managed to save a man double his size and weight when he went through the ice. Lucy was always very fast and her technique was like nothing teachers had seen before, it was like she had been taught by a fish. (Possibly mermaid or nymph of some kind.)(Same goes for the others, I just can’t really come up with something)
All of them had nightmares but they had also become very good at controlling and hiding certain emotions behind a curtain or wall.
Edmund often got panic attacks during the cold months, especially when it snowed. Susan started making him something warm to drink every time she noticed it was getting colder or she saw snow falling before school, Peter wrapped up and cuddled Edmund in blankets and Lucy just came into his room with her warm smile and sat and talked with him. With time he wasn’t as sensitive to cold and snow and the panic attacks died down but the small rituals of the siblings having this cosy bonding time with one another continued for a lot longer.
And through all of this Helen was an amazing mother, she might not know what the change in her children was caused by but she always helped. Through panic attacks and frantic studying, she held them after nightmares and she just kept being their mother. She was their mum and raised that just as good as Narnia had.
Hope it was to your enjoyment <3

hc: when the pevensie siblings come back to england after the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe, they all have a fancy cursive handwriting and all their teachers are very impressed.
To the point where they call Mrs. Pevensie and tell her that Peters handwriting is now readable and he gets better grades.
And Susans handwriting was already flawless before, but now it just got a little more fancy.
I belive Edmunds handwriting got a lot more cursive. i think he wrote really small and barely readabe letters before but now it's still small but more cursive and elegant.
Im kinda torn between thinking lucys handwriting is absolute chaos now (like it was fine before, but now she even uses different narinan languages and even some ancient runes or something and no teacher understands anything) OR it was a mess before (like with every child her age lol) and now her handwriting looks like written by and adult (to the point where the teachers accuse her mother of doing her homework and that lucy is somehow cheating. / I think while growing up in narnia she had teachers who showed her how to write perfectly and bc she was so young they had the most influence on her writing style. And obviously since she grew up there her handwriting developed with her. so when she came back her handwriting looks all grown up and the teachers dont understand how, bc they had a hard time getting her handwriting to be even readable (honestly they had the fear, that her handwriting would develop to look like her brothers). And now they all have fancy handwriting) (also is it noticeable that Lucy is my favourite? xD)
At some point they just decided the children were bored when they were in the country and decided to learn how to write fancy (Susan probably saw how bad her siblings handwriting was and decided that just wouldn't do)
Also the Pevensies all use fancy weird narnian words that the teachers dont understand but pretend to bc they dont want to look like children have a better vocabulary than they do

Random friend: Helen Pevensie, your children are just so well behaved and mature. I can’t imagine having children who act as nicely as yours do.
“Pile on Pete!” Lucy yells and they all jump onto Peter who grunts and grumbles but doesn’t push them off.
Peter and Edmund hitting each other with sticks in the back garden
Susan and Peter telling Edmund to eat his vegetables and him telling them that he’s an adult and he will eat his vegetables when he wants to. And to back off.
Lucy climbing a tree in her nice clothes because “I’m really good mum don’t worry it’s like the trees taught me”
Susan sneaking back inside at midnight with an empty quiver and bow. “I can explain”
Peter and Edmund routinely leaving school grounds on weekends to see Lucy and Susan at their own school.
Lucy spending more time with girls twice her age than other 10 year olds.
Edmund always sneaking away from the children’s section in the library and getting books on gory battles and great military failures.
Peter getting in fights over stepped on toes.
Lucy fighting bedtime every chance she gets.
All of them accidentally drinking wine on more than one occasion because they saw the glass and didn’t think about where they were.
Lucy somehow knowing how to punch.
Edmund ‘borrowing’ a horse from the school coach house to go riding over the weekend while he was bored.
Susan always spilling flour over the kitchen when she’s tasked with dinner and Peter can’t do dishes without soaking everyone in the kitchen.
All of them being terrible about cleaning up after themselves because they got so used to having staff to do those sorts of things.
Lucy forgetting electricity is a thing and taking candles to read in the dark, which half terrifies her parents. She gets lots of playing with fire lectures.
Edmund and Lucy releasing all of their cousin’s science project subjects.
All four of them routinely covered in mud and brambles from the woods.
“Yes, I’m not sure how they all got to be like this,” Mrs. Pevensie laughs awkwardly. “It certainly wasn’t me.”
