Subversive threads @performanyc November 10 @jeffreydeitchgallery _ Talk and workshop _ We could bring our own materials, so I brought pictures of performances I did all over the world. You can recognize The Captain at the helm of her Vessel who brought me to New York on February, La Bambina dancing in the bottom of the empty pool of the same vessel, La Bambina breaking an egg in Paris, Marilyn at Art Basel Miami Beach, The Writer in Albi and many other characters. While I was sewing as my new character On The Rocks, I was very excited about the idea of creating a new dress for La Bambina.
