I think i made Vi into some kind honey monster thing once, iirc the idea was that she had fallen into the factory core and been imbued with honey and magic from the ancient key

Kabbu can just be some kind of revenant/ghost. like say he died first or something, perhaps he sacrificed himself, but the beast still killed and ate his teammates. he'd come back to haunt/hunt the beast and avenge his friends (and also his own death)

ok ok ok. The Oak King and Yew Queen. Oak has Mab’s power-- to create. And Wren must have Mellith’s heart and the power to destroy. Which is why she can pull apart even the magic of the High Court! But also she’s turned the power to destroy into something positive because it’s curses she destroys! And we’ve got predictions of Oak being king and Wren being queen but I’m guessing NOT the High King of Elfhame and the Queen of the Court of Teeth (respectively). They’re going to be a king and a queen in a weirder more elemental sense, which will then allow whats her face the swamp witch to come claim the promise from Oak which will be bad. 

AND Wren having the heart is why the fox on the cover has the heart!
