A follow-up to this post, it has been years since and Damian has become pretty damn good at concealing his thoughts and feelings. Partly due to him indulging in all of those sappy, lovey-dovey thoughts whenever there's a new moon.

Except one time he gets the date wrong.

I can totally imagine Damian having the fact that Anya can read minds lingering at the back of his head then suddenly popping up when he's in a dire situation like:

'Is there really no way out?!' A young Desmond panics in his thoughts. Damian has been trapped inside the storage room accidentally in hopes of finding a broom and proving that he, himself, is the most responsible student in Cecile hall by sweeping the dirty floors. How inspiring.

'I can't believe this...' Suddenly, he stops and thinks for a moment. The image of Anya Forger confessing her ability to read minds appears. 'I wish that was true. Peanut girl, if you're truly capable of it... do something about this situation!'

As he closed his eyes and wished for his knight in shining armour to appear, the door flung open.

"Ta-da!"

"... Anya?!"

"I was con-tem-play-thing whether or not I shoulda opened that door, Sy-on! But your helpless cries were too much for my herow-ick heart so I opened it!"

"YOU READ MY MIND?!"

"... I thought I already told you?.."
