While crossing over the Sydney Harbour Bridge Teddy looked at the City’s skyline and the ferries heading out to make their way around the harbour. So many simultaneous adventures all moving on their own distinct paths.

I don’t know about everyone else but I am seriously overwhelmed by the shirtless pic. I love me a Dad bod, my current lover is a Dad and has great Dad bod. In fact he is the same age as MS.
What becomes more intensely sexy is how exhausted he looks and vulnerable after doing a show. It entices me to want to cook him a good meal, give him a massage and relieve him in other ways just so he is well looked after.
I have seen the production twice and my third time will be closing night. I know it seems a bit much but when the opportunity to see your favourite actor ever again is slim you have to make the most of what’s available now.

🎄 DECEMBER ROUND UP🎄 I've really enjoyed doing these this year. I'll keep doing them in the new year. Really great way of pinpointing how I was feeling that month, what I was doing and where I was, both physically and mentally. They're like a mini diary ☺️ December was fucking wild, I'll tell you that. Got shipped off to Sydney for Santa Set and ran Santa Set at Colonnades again while in Sydney. Let's hope 2023 let's me not do something as insane as that again 🙃 . . . #december #photodump #santaphotos #sydneyoperahouse #parramatta #santa #airplaneselfie #textposttumblr #textposts (at Parramatta, New South Wales) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cm2O6c1hKaMrgIcKb31jXVoLTdMrOzFMsVLjfo0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

A Forest of Lines
Tumblr media
Pierre Huyghe, A Forest of Lines (2008). Art Installation. Concert Hall at Sydney Opera House, 16th Biennale of Sydney.
Pierre Huyghe's installation A Forest of Lines transports viewers into a realm where art and environment intersect, blurring the lines between natural and constructed worlds. This work, displayed at the Sydney Opera House in 2008, is a compelling exploration of space, perception, and the relationship between nature and human creation.
Conceptual Framework: A Forest of Lines transformed the iconic Sydney Opera House into a dense, immersive forest. Huyghe planted 300 live trees within the concert hall, creating a juxtaposition of natural elements within a man-made, cultural space. This fusion invites viewers to reconsider their perceptions of familiar environments and the boundaries between natural and artificial spaces.
Spatial Dynamics: The installation challenged traditional notions of space utilization in art. By bringing the outdoors inside, Huyghe disrupted the conventional function and atmosphere of the concert hall. The audience navigated through this forest, experiencing a shift in their usual interaction with both nature and architectural space.
Sensory Experience: The multi-sensory experience of A Forest of Lines is central to its impact. The visual spectacle of trees indoors, combined with the smells and sounds of a forest, created an immersive experience that transcended visual art, engaging the audience on multiple sensory levels.
Environmental and Artistic Dialogue: Huyghe's work often engages with environmental themes, and A Forest of Lines is no exception. The installation prompts reflection on our relationship with the environment and the ways in which we compartmentalize nature in our urban and cultural spaces. It also explores the role of art in mediating and redefining this relationship.
Temporal Elements: The temporary nature of the installation, like a fleeting natural phenomenon, left a lasting impression on its viewers. This ephemerality underscores themes of impermanence and transformation, both in nature and in human experience.
Nature Meets Art: What's Your Take? In what ways does Pierre Huyghe's A Forest of Lines alter your perception of space and the intersection between nature and human-created environments?

Apologies in advance, I’m Aussie and simply elated that MS will be in Sydney! I got tix to opening night of Amadeus. Yes, this is creepy, but I need to put my anxious silly energy somewhere
