Round 6 - Mashuga

Genie, genie of the baths. Show me answers, show me paths.

-Oh, I'm sorry, I can clean this tub later... - the maid stumbled into the red master-bathroom. -No worries, Brigit. I'm sure you've seen weirder things in other houses. You don't mind, purple mister, right? -No-no, to the contrary, I am always ready for some unexpected conversations. Or wishes. -How true this is... about weird things... - Brigit mumbled to herself, not really surprised by anything in her life anymore.

As usual, Sylvia Marie was focused on magic and otherwordly aspects of their lives in this neighborhood. Her current goals were to find a way to pop the timeless bubble, but she had her suspicions that it might unravel many more undesirable consequences, perhaps even more dangerous than their current predicament.

Genie, while he couldn't answer all Sylvia's questions outright, hinted that, indeed, the situation is way more complex.

(Syl's not exactly my spirit animal, but it's the most recent relevant pic I've got. And frankly, this was some 'meshuggaas,' just trying to get them to acknowledge me.)

So. My account got terminated. Don't know when. Don't know why. It took about two weeks to get a response and, hey, look, they put it back.

Definitely time to find some way to back up my drafts. There's more stuff in there than I've posted in the past 2-3 years combined. So I am relieved to have access, but, um, yeah...

- Melissa Roomies and Sylvia Marie Mashuga -

Since these two actually use the same head in TS1, and @andrevasims did such a fantastic job making Sylvia Marie, I decided to base my Melissa on her Sylvia. I mostly tweaked the nose, and made her face a bit fuller since Melissa is plus-size. I’d like to give her a few more moles, but I can’t find any I like that actually work on her skin tone, so I’ll probably just make some. I also tweaked Sylvia Marie’s face a tiny bit, mainly the eyes.

Hopefully they look similar, but also different enough? That doesn’t make sense?

A good round! A nice party, a promotion, and lots of Livin’ Large. The Mashugas felt confident after such an awesome summer! That is, until Sylvia Marie noticed she was gaining weight and feeling a bit sick... 🤔

I remade one of my favorite familes from Sims 1, the Mashugas! Following with the 25 years later theme, Sylvia Marie and Frankie have moved to Pleasantview with their son Cosmo.

I didn't want to change Sylvia Marie's look too much so she just got eyeliner. Dina convinces her it was totally worth it!

And now I’m going to write a post about my crazy ideas related to Frankie and Sylvia Marie Mashuga which involves Detective Dan D. Mann. I had written a post about it before, but it was all over the place, and so I deleted it... although I think someone reblogged it. Let’s hope not.

So the whole reason this idea started was a TS1 ad from back in the day. I reblogged it at one point or another, but I can’t find it right now. Anyway, the ad was a fake news article about a cult leader who shared the same head as Frankie. His wife found out he was cheating, and, with the help of a genie, set the place on fire.

I always felt like the Mashugas were scam artists, so I thought Frankie would make the perfect cult leader. The woman he was having an affair with? Dan D. Mann’s sister. She and Frankie had a child, Nora Zeal-Ott, who the Mashugas made sure not to take responsibility for, or for the fire that killed her mother. They tell everyone that a creature called the Veloci-Rooster started the fire. In reality, it’s just a chicken, and Detective Dan learns this after capturing it.

Round 5 - Mashuga

Sylvia Marie had to quit her job to take care of young Sionna, although she kept helping out other folks around the neighborhood unofficially, like Bella Goth, for example. Other than that, everything was fine and quiet in the Mashuga family.

Brianna adored her little sister and they shared many common interests. Sionna aspired to be like Brianna, and Brianna was also too happy to have a girlie by her side. They spent lots of time playing and gossiping, while their parents lounged outside by the pool.

It was also quite obvious that Brianna and Lunar, by pure chance, became close friends as well. They often visited each other's homes, and Brianna was just oversharing to her sister afterwards.

Though none talked to their parents about it, Frankie and Sylvia Marie kind of picked up on everything and quietly enjoyed watching how young relationship started blooming from afar, reminiscing about their own old days. _____

IF ONLY kids could grow up in the Sims 1! There is just too much potential for high school sweetheart romance development, I'd DEFINITELY match those two up if I had any means to make them teenagers or smth. My heart, god, they're just too cute not to end up together, I ship it hard.
