We finally have a BB of Jk’s Inkigayo stage performance! A smiling Tae arrives to support him -

Tae, at first, stands over Jk. Jk knows who’s entered the room, even with his eyes closed. He clearly was expecting Tae, and he “greets” him by asking, “What?” It should be noted, as others have pointed out, that they didn’t greet each other with the standard “Hello” or “How are you?” This is another indicator of how close they are and how much time they spend with each other to skip these formalities. 

There’s then a noticeable cut, with Tae now air-straddling Jk. The subsequent interaction between them is so incredibly domestic! Jk is adorably pouty as he twice asks Tae, in a soft voice, where he’d been.

Tae explains in an equally super soft, low tone that he had been practicing. Jk repeats in an inquiring, yet still soft tone, “Practice?” Tae further explains that he was at dance then violin practice, before working out.

If you see in all these pics, and every interaction between them from 2017-2020, it was all one sided. It was always Tae seeking skinship with Jk, not the other way around. Even during the Soop, it was clearly Jk that wanted that “talk” to happen. Also have you forgotten they’re bandmates, so ofc they will be seen around each other alot. But even t a blind person could pick on the energy between them, it was so off.

If you’re gonna argue a case, you have to actually come with correct information.. not some narrative you’ve bought into.

So according to you, it wasn’t even them drifting apart because Tae was busy with other friends (which is also an angle people take), but it’s Jk getting so weirded out by queer rumors and Tae’s skinship that he just didn’t want to be near Tae any longer. I think Sara did lend a little more objectivity to the shared timeline. It’s clear that Kayla is convinced that tk are together, and that’s her prerogative, but it makes it hard for her to be objective when compiling the timeline (this is a small example of presenting speculation as fact: https://at.tumblr.com/taekooktimeline/november-22-2022-filmed-november-27-2022/qgozp9b9bxjv, there’s no way for us to know when the challenge was filmed within this last week, for all we know they stayed there on the 26th before jetting off somewhere 🤷‍♀️).

I think it helped when there were two pairs of eyes to cross check and bounce ideas off of, to avoid confirmation bias and the echo chamber that is twitter. But it’s her page and she can do/say what she wants at the end of the day…

Which is why it’s important for people who see something in tk to actually watch as much of the content as they can, preferably from unbiased sources, who just show the whole interaction in it’s context (no slow-mo and romantic music 😂).

And it’s also good to occasionally acknowledge to oneself that no one can definitively say that tk are together except tk 😅

What’s weird about the Yoli thing is that she knew it was an ot7 dinner, but was still making tweets about it being a private dinner/date. I get not telling people, but lying in their faces like that... don’t get me wrong, taekookers fr needed humbling during that time cause they were obnoxious as hell, but doing it two years later after feeding into it is kind of evil lol

She's an interesting character. If it were anyone else I would given them the benefit of doubt - maybe they only recently found out about this-but idk about this person. I'd ask them to reveal everything they know and put an end to it, if it were me.

I really don't know about who knows who, but Taekooktimeline for the most part seem genuine in their enthusiasm.

This wouldn't have happened if shippers hadn't chosen this moment as the hill they wanted to die on. Like I've said before the only thing special about Atomix is that it was one of the few Taekook crumbs that didn't come from Tae (which ironically makes it all the more not special in the way Taekookers want it to be lol) and that should have been it. Taekookers have only themselves to blame for how it snowballed into this.

Suspicions that the significance of the date may come from taekook’s first kiss taking place, although all evidence indicates it would’ve been an isolated event at the time that they brushed off. This date is known as a significant date for them because they responded to each other’s love songs on this day in 2016. They also were spotted on a date in a nearby hotel (Namsan tower date) in 2018. We believe the first kiss could’ve happened on this date based on Jk’s song recommendation in March 2015 (see March section for more info but in short he recs an lgbtq song and screenshots “I want more” lyrics while writing “one more” in his tweet). We also concluded this based off of their dynamics. Taking into account the fact that Tae got drunk in September 2014 and kissed a Jimin doll, a possible explanation for a single kiss could be that Tae got drunk and took a risk in kissing a shocked Jk, but then backed off blaming the alcohol. In this scenario jk would have later realized he wanted to experience it once more but wasn’t brave enough & didn’t know if Tae really meant it.

Jimin says not even BTS members will know why Tae cried in BV2 while reading the letter he wrote to Jimin. Could or could not be about taekook’s separation period & Jimin having been his support. We believe that, although members already seemed to somehow know about Taekook being intimate, that they weren’t fully aware about the details of their relationship (meaning their deep feelings, struggles, ups and downs, etc) except for Jimin. This could be their attempt to not cause disturbance to the group.

Tae posts a handful of photos on Weverse, including this photo of him and Bam! Remember how he said he raised Bam since he was young? And Jk just said he got Bam in Daegu in his last live (December 8, 2023). Tae is so thoughtful and caring to come comfort us on the day of his enlistment. Tae and Joon are 2 among only 6 of Nonsan’s Elite Soldiers. From what I’m seeing on social media, Taehyung and Joon would’ve qualified as Elite trainees because they succeeded at the following criteria:

Doing more than 86 sit-ups in 2 minutes

Doing more than 72 pushups in 2 minutes

Ran 1.5 km in under 5 mins and 28 secs

Ran 3km in under 12 mins and 30 secs

Made 16 out of 20 zero point shots

Be present in all training

Another account also noted the following: Being given an elite soldier’s status means both Taehyung and Namjoon excelled in 7 types of training, which includes a 3 km race, shooting, first aid, vigilance, CBR training, and individual combat. Notably, Tae got first place in shooting and sit ups (and was also praised for his personality and leadership skills; see translation below).

A further breakdown of Tae’s impressive stats in his short time in basic, and what to expect next: Taehyung was promoted to a Platoon Leader within 18 days of enlisting. He also became one of the 6 soldiers who obtained Elite status. On January 18, he’ll be deployed to The Army General Administration School to complete his additional advanced SDT training. The training period is from January 18, 2024 - February 8, 2024. Once the three weeks of additional training is completed, he will be deployed to his final camp.

K-media reports that Taehyung has filmed a promotional video for the 2nd corps training.

V of the group BTS, who is currently serving in the Ssangyong Unit of the 2nd Corps of the Army, showed off the majesty of a dignified soldier in a video.

As a result of News 1 coverage on the 17th, V appeared in a video recently posted on a YouTube channel wearing a military police combat uniform and with people who appeared to be fellow unit members.

In this video, V shows himself undergoing urban combat shooting training. V especially captured the public's attention by showing off his strong eyes while wearing an outfit with a 'military police' patch. In addition, V was admirable as he skillfully handled a firearm and hit the target every time he fired.

Meanwhile, V applied for and was accepted into the Special Task Force (SDT) of the Army Capital Defense Command last year, and in February of this year, he was assigned to the Ssangyong Unit of the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do and has continued his military service. He is serving as a special member of the Military Police Corps under the direct command of the headquarters.

While there isn't anything seemingly poignant going on in the below moment, I found this really domestic. Tae fiddles with a necklace while his body is turned into Jk, who’s snacking, but also has his body turned towards Tae. It’s the subtler moments like this that speak volumes about their closeness. Even during simpler tasks, such as this, there’s a need to be close to the other.

Hey everyone 👋🏽

If you celebrate, I hope you’ve been having a nice holiday 💜I’ve been super inactive as I spend time with family, though I probably will continue to be more IA on TW and IG while Taekook are away. I don’t like SM as it is and I’ve started quietly working towards personal goals while we wait for Taekook’s discharge, which is filling up a lot of personal time☺️

I’ve been considering adding Taehyung’s and Jungkook’s latest chapter, their time in the military, into the blog. While this blog is primarily used to archive their beautiful bond, I think noting their military service would be a nice way to help pass the time while we wait for their return, and it also would be another way to support and cheer them on (especially since we miss them so much).

With that being said, I’d like to get feedback on doing this since I know opinions vary on sharing this type of content. The photos I would post would come from official, public sites. They would not come from, and never would come from, questionable sources, or from places where we aren’t sure if they’re edits. They’d be public photos, public information, already publicly shared across multiple social media platforms.

For instance, I’d like to add the publicly released photos of Jungkook that have been shared during his basic training. If I were to update the blog with their time in service, I want to point out that there isn’t much substance to note with one of the two updates I have pending for him currently, so one post would be more photo based than text, but I’d still like to document them as part of his service journey. And likewise, I’d like to add Taehyung’s currently released photo, especially since we did get information attached to this, that he’s platoon commander of the training soldiers, an incredible feat I’d proudly like to note.

Please let me know what you think. I’m receptive to feedback, especially since I always want to do right by my biases🙏🏽 I have family in town, so while I will do my best to respond to all comments, I apologize if I’m slower to do so.

My goal would be to update the few small drafts I started working on tomorrow (Friday) when my family leaves, if feedback is positive towards this style of updates for the next 18 months. I will edit this later with a note what the overall feedback has been and how I’ll proceed. And for those who do share their thoughts, thank you so much!
