He was sort of reluctant to do it due to him being lazy, but he figured he’d make you happy so he decided to try it.

Didn’t start to feel pain until he got to level 5 and this is where he shot up.

“Fuck . . . .”

And by level 6, it was over. He was clutching his stomach and rolling up into a ball.

“But there’s still like four more levels.”

“I don’t care!”

And when this event reached Reiji’s ears, this gave him new ideas as to how to get Shu up to do things.

Reiji:

“What is this contraption?” He’d say when you first showed him it.

He thought it was silly and didn’t believe it could cause severe pain, so he decided to give it a go.

And plus, he wanted to see how far science has come and wanted to fully understand what you were complaining about every month.

So, after putting it on him, you cranked up to level 4 and he flinched, making him hit his hip against the table—kinda like this guy (@ 2:16 if the video doesn’t work).

And at one point, this machine put this bitch on his knees.

Like, it took him out.

He was dying by level 6, crawling up next to your legs like a cat and begged you to turn it off.

And if his brothers are around, they encourage you to crank up the pain, while Reiji does his best to convince you otherwise.

Laito:

Started screaming hysterically at level 3.

You honestly can’t tell if he’s laughing or dying from the way it sounds. It’s probably both knowing him.

This year I took part in my first ever mini bang, and my first ever zine! These were both big challenges for me, and I had a lot of fun taking part! I also signed up for more bingos than I know what to do with, and took requests for them which is something I don't do often.

Write more! Finish my wips and actually get through my bingos.

I'm disappointed in how little I managed to write this year. I had little motivation all year and what I did write was a struggle, so I'm hoping next year will be different.

That being said, my biggest disappointment last year was that I never wrote Into the Spider's Nest like I said I would. But I finished that this year, so that's a win!

That my little one shot (3k) ended up with more hits than my longest ever fic (81k) 😅

Okay... I threw m plans for a Mermay picture out of the window. I've been binging "My Time at Portia" for days now. This is just such a relaxing and unagitated game that brings me so much joy with building and fulfilling the commissions for the townspeople.

My builder Cassidy nearly instantly fell in love with the head of Civil Corps (the "police" of the town) and Arlo is just so cute.

Okay... so... this was supposed to be my "personal art" piece for March. But migraine... I at least managed to finish it and I am mostly satisfied with the outcome. Since it's not a commission I am not going to fret too much over the parts that didn't turn out quite like I wanted them.

But at least I got myself a Lynn/Bruno fanart while I am still enjoying Season 4 of "Love Island the Game".

This game is truly a guilty pleasure and I am probably 20 years older than the target audience XD but it's silly and fun and I need that in my life right now XD Lynn is the main character in this season and I am playing her in the game.

And I know about the controversies around season 4. But I decided that I can't shut out everything in my life that I enjoy because capitalism is a thing... I have fun - you just don't have to take this season too seriously XD

Lynn and Bruno would never work outside the Villa... but that's a problem for another day XD

Of course... right before I need to get back to work I find my inspiration and the motivation to draw again ;) At least that's a good sign that I am really over Covid (now I only need to get rid of that annoying cough...) But at least I could seize the remaining time and managed to finish something small for myself. My #1 post of 2022

It’s the 16th... so we can post this, right? I’ve been waiting since May to finally be allowed to share this XD My contribution to this years TAG Mini Bang ( @tagminibang2022 / @tagminibang ) I got assigned to illustrate one of @womble1′s great fanfics and there was so much to chose from and many brilliant fics! ♥ But that one scene totally brought an instant image to my mind, so I had to illustrate it after I read the little story called “Rest”.

In the sunken seating area, Scott was stretched out across a sofa, head propped up on a cushion, a book in one hand, legs crossed at the ankles.

2022 fic year in review

Total number of completed works: 12

Total word count: 222,173

Fandoms written in: Marvel (Daredevil, Punisher, and Black Widow both MCU and comics, mostly MCU and comics fusion), DCU comics (Deathstroke and Nightwing + adjacent bats and birds) and Peacemaker (HBO series)

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you’d expected? I figured I would write a little less than what I did in 2021 because I got kinda burnt out by the end of the year. I wrote about 60k less, so I think that’s about what I expected.

What’s your own favorite story of the year? A toss-up between mapped out and blind date, they were both really fun to write.

Did you take any writing risks this year? I signed up for two bangs and one exchange, so there’s always the risk I won’t finish in time. (I didn’t for one bang and the exchange, but got everything posted a couple weeks late.)

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year? Yes, I have three sladick fics I want to write for sure: a fantasy/royalty AU, one where Slade keeps restraining Dick and accidentally gives him a bondage kink, and one that’s a time-travel Blüdhaven fix-it fic (but not in the way you think). I also have tentative plans to write chapter twos or part twos for some of the sladick fics I did last year. I’ve had a Leota/Keeya (from Peacemaker) idea bouncing around in my head for awhile (featuring Adrian committing chaos in the background), so I will try to get that out by February because I like to do femslash February. And I got 15k into an obikin fic I had to set aside due to other fandom events that I would like to finish by the end of the year. Fratt is on a bit of a backburner for me, but I do still have ideas and would participate in fratt weeks and DDE if that gets scheduled. Basically, I will still be on my bullshit.

Most popular story of the year? By kudos, it’s scientifically sound, with muscle memory as a close second.

Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion: wolves and girls for sure. It’s a nearly 40k fic for a pairing (natelektra) with 15 works on AO3, one of which is the art post for this fic--I used it for the Marvel bang. I didn’t expect it to get much traction, but by god this pairing deserved at least one bang-length fic, and if I cannot find it, I will create it!

Most fun story to write: Maybe scientifically sound? It was 2k and I wrote it in one sitting, which was a first for me, as it’s usually a struggle to keep any of my ideas under 10k. I also had fun writing all the sladick fics I did for the sladerobin weekend/mini event back in April--I had a bit of time off, so I was able to crank those out much faster than usual. (Those are mapped out, a pound of flesh, and one for the road.)

Most unintentionally telling story: Tbh it’s probably wolves and girls for the same reason it was the better half last year. I again romanticized the ability to travel and spent an inordinate amount of time describing the scenery.

Biggest disappointment: Lack of time, more than anything. Real life kicked my ass this year, and I didn’t (and never do) get as much writing done as I wanted. I also really wanted to finish that obikin fic before I started my next one, but that didn’t happen, and it is now languishing in WIP land.

Biggest surprise: Going feral over obikin like I’m in middle school again.

My favorite part of fandom this year: I always like working with artists for bangs and events, and @flamebird-j created a lovely piece for muscle memory. I also met some cool people through the DC fandom and read just enough comics to appreciate the excellent shitposting potential of batfam shenanigans.

I think it's really nice that Guillermo de la Cruz gets to kill some people, humans and vampires alike. I think it's very nice that he kept wooden stakes in the mini fridge in case Nandor didn't show correct levels of caring about him. It's sexy of him to be sweet and also insane and sit on the council throne. I think the others have being a vampire as an excuse but he'll just be atrocious and cute as a choice. I think it's fun and exciting that he's committed to that dick to inadvisable levels. I think he deserved to lead a huge man out of danger by the hand while going BING BANG BOOM POW SWISH. Saw this thing floating around and figured why not do it for funsies. 🤷‍♀️ I haven't looked at my AO3 stats in forever so this should be interesting... at least for me LOL.

170,262 words posted to AO3 for 2023 and 349,034 so far -> that's probably counting the collabs I joined (I personally write big bois so that says a lot about me I guess lol)
