I remember watching a video of a snow leopard couple cuddling each other while they sleep and now I can’t stop thinking about Tai Lung leaving the spirit realm to do some soul searching to get a grip on his rage and struggles with perfectionism

To his surprise, he meets another snow leopard on his journey. And she’s just as recluse as he is, if not more so (snow leopards are pretty solitary creatures). She’s a cautious cat, a hermit, but has a deep kindness towards others.

Shenanigans ensue, and they begin to bond through their adventures together. And he sees how difficult it can be to be kind instead of being angry. Anger towards others, and himself. The anger that comes from needing to prove his worth.

And during their time together, he sees subtle displays of empathy, of kindness from her. A kindness that he can’t help but try to emulate, because she seems so certain of herself, with nothing to prove. She lives life for the joy of living, and it baffles him that he never thought that was an option. So he takes a page from her book, and tries to live for the sake of living. They part ways, and his heart pangs at the thought that he might not see her again.

Although Kung Fu is an art in its own right, it never felt quite cathartic for Tai Lung. There was always the push to be better, to stay the best. Getting to the point that ‘never enough’ was engrained in his brain. The anger grew from there, and the martial arts became an avenue for his rage.

He begins to try something different. He pursues another art form: painting. The limitless colors and shapes that he can make with his own paws, or with a paintbrush. The rush of joy that surges through him through creation, rather than the destruction that used to come from his (mal)practice of the martial arts.

It’s not something he’s a natural at, but it’s something that brings a smile to his face. Eventually, he gets better at it. The glee towards his painting progress feels much more rewarding than when he’d master multiple Kung Fu techniques. The snow leopard with a penchant for painting.

His artwork brings in the eye of a few potential customers. He sets up shop in a small town, doing a few commissions that earn him a name that isn’t spoken with fear: Tai Lung, the painter. The artist whose paintings feel alive.

Word travels, and the peaceful painter meets the kind hermit again. The hermit who happened to inspire him to live for himself.

She notices that he seems different, lighter. Content. He’s still grumpy, but the rough edges don’t cut. She smiles, telling him that painting suits him. The question that arises is: what happened?. Tai Lung has a simple answer for that. He wanted to be strong, like her.

That prompts a distinct eyebrow raise. Bewildered, she tells him that he was always strong, just scared. There was a fear to his anger.

She says, ”You don’t seem as scared anymore,” gently placing his hand in hers.

Tai Lung gives her a gentle smile. “Still sharp as ever, I see.”

That prompts a loud laugh out of her, and his smile grows in the little art shop.

Kung fu Panda headcanon:

Don't take this post too seriously. It's just my "what if" fantasy (in this post, the fourth part is not taken into account).

I think that the spirit world is much bigger than we were shown in the third part. I believe that absolutely all souls get there, not just kung fu masters. Because Kai got into the spirit world before Ugway invented kung fu.

So, I think that the spirit world is divided into several levels.

The first level is "up": This is the location where Po meets Ugway at the end of the third film. Only those souls who have been able to find inner peace get there.

The second level is the "middle": This is the location where Po defeated Kai. Only thouse souls who could not find inner peace, but who were good people during their lifetime.

The third level is "purgatory": Tai Lung gets here at the end of the first film. Those who managed to make mistakes during their lifetime go there, but these mistakes are not so terrible as to send the soul to the lowest level.

Fourth level "Hell": The souls of sinners who committed terrible deeds during their lifetime come here. I think that's where Shen is now.

Souls can move from the upper to the lower levels whenever they want. For example, souls from the middle level can descend into purgatory and even lower. But the soul cannot just rise to a higher level. To do this, the soul needs to be "cleansed". So, for example, a soul from purgatory will be able to rise to the middle and then to the upper level. But it is also possible to rise to a higher level if you absorb enough chi. That's exactly what Kai did, when he collected enough chi from purgatory, it allowed him to get to the middle level. After that, he was able to collect chi masters from two levels at once. However, his fight with Tai Lung took too long, as the leopard turned out to be a serious opponent, which is why Kai was able to get to Ugway only at the beginning of the third film.

By the way, Kai did not fight with Shen because he was afraid to go down to the lowest level straight to hell. This explains why Kai doesn't have a peacock pendant, but he does have a leopard pendant.

Once again, this is just a theory and concept of how I see the spiritual world in the KFP universe. Don't take it too seriously.

Everyone knew of Tai Lung. He was the adopted son of Shifu and the soon to be Dragon Warrior

At least that is what Shifu keeps on saying. But no one doubted it, Tai Lung was absolutely amazing and strong.

Many girls fell for him, and of course you did as well. But the differences between you and them, was that you successfully got Tai Lung’s heart

Everyone knew that although Tai Lung was strong, he had the temper of an eruptive volcano. Which is why MOST of his admirers wouldn't dare to confess their love to him.

Tai Lung fell in love with your confidence. The next dragon warrior was not stupid. He knew that most of the villagers were scared of him, despite admiring him.

You basically strolled up to him one day when he was walking down the streets of the valley of peace, and thanked him for his hard work.

“Hi Tai Lung, my name is (name) and I just wanted to say that I admire you and thank you for protecting the valley of Peace from danger.” you smiled

“You’re.. Welcome.” He nodded, holding a bag of groceries. Tai was stunned someone had the confidence to even look his way when he was on the streets of the valley

You smiled and nodded a little “See you around! Soon-to-be Dragon warrior” winking at him playfully and walking away.

He finds himself smiling at the memory whenever he has time to himself. From that moment on, you started seeing each other more often and finally made it official.

Never in a million years would he think that he would find someone to love.

Afterall, his heart and mind was set to mastering the art of Kung Fu, and making his father proud

But you changed him for the better.

You and him were polar opposites, which was great. You both were compatible despite your differences.

He was hot tempered and prideful... and you patient and humble.

Shifu and Tai Lung would have arguments from time to time. It’s only natural after all! He was a teenager, in his rebellious stage.

Tai Lung would storm out of the Jade Palace to cool down.

Before you, He’d go to a hill and punch a sturdy tree to relieve his stress. Of course the trees stood no chance

Now that he has you, his partner, the hot headed leopard would come over to your place without saying a word.

He didn’t have to of course, because he knew that you would understand right away. Which is all he needed honestly. I don’t think that he would have the patience to explain the full situation.

Tai Lung would NEVER admit it to you though,because his pride won't let him. But he loves how gentle you are with him.

The way you spoke to him when he was having troubles

“Tai, I understand Shifu made you upset, but you have to understand where he’s coming from.”

The way you held his paw in your own

“I’m sure he means no harm. He just wants the best for you and so do I”

How you guide him to the right path “Please control your temper next time, I don’t want you to start losing yourself and go on the wrong path”

His shoulders become less tense whenever he sees how soft your gaze is when you look at him.

Those eyes are just full of patience, love, empathy and understanding. Qualities that he does not have (Except love)

Qualities he loves about you.

If youre having a hard time Tai Lung would sense it straight away.

You both know that he isn't the best with his words

He can be awkward and stiff, but for you? He’ll try his damn best.

He’ll buy your favourite food, and even stop by mister Ping’s noodle shop to get you something warm for your tummy.

The Leopard would visit your place and take you by the lake at night to watch the stars in the sky as you feel the breeze of the wind hit your (feather/fur/skin/scales)

“Thank you Tai… for this.” You smiled at him as you took a bite out of the food he brought for you.

Tai Lung would nod stiffly “No problem.”

Honestly he wasn’t happy that he wouldn't comfort you with sweet words like you would do for him when he was upset.

“You know. I used to come here often to take time for myself. The first time I came here was to find inner peace in myself, but I couldn't, which frustrated me even more…” Tai lung started, he took a glance at you to see if you were listening

“I then decided to stop my meditation and look up at the sky. And what I saw was the beautiful stars shining brightly up there. Only then, did I find my peace even if it was for one night. In fact,” he looked up at the sky as if he was signing to you to do the same “the stars up there are shining just as bright as when I saw it for the first time.”

Your eyes trailed up to the sky and immediately you saw what your boyfriend was talking about.

“Wow it’s beautiful” you whispered in awe as Tai Lung saw the stars twinkling in your eyes.

“Just like a certain someone I know..” he’d whisper back, admiring your features and admiring you.

He was so lucky to have you by his side and he knows it damn well

No other words were exchanged between the two of you.

You scooted closer to your boyfriend and leaned into his shoulder for warmth and comfort. Tai Lung didn’t push you away, instead he pulled you closer.

Whether or not Tai Lung knows it, you started to forget your worries right then and there. It seems like he knows how to comfort you after all.

Random kfp headcanons that I had (that I am not making them up right now for a post, I just had these in my mind since forever)

- the release date of the movies are the birthdates of the villains (Tai Lung 6th of June, Shen 26th of May, Kai 29th of January)

- Obviously Tai doesn't know his birthday so they celebrate the day Shifu got him instead which is the 4th of July (I chose this date because it was the date that it aired on my country :3 )

-Meanwhile Tai and Shen have their family issues Kai has loving parents with a wholesome relationship and absolute no problems with.

- I know people usually say that Po and Tai would be besties which I agree but among the villains I think his bestie would be Kai, they seemed to be getting along (almost) in the movie for me X)

- After the third film I cannot imagine Tigress and Po not having a panda daughter

- Tigress and Po has a panda daughter. One child

- Tigress becomes Shifu's succesor. Taking over the Jade Palace ( after it is rebuilt ) Teaching new generations

- Crane is the first one to marry among the five. Mantis is the last he's scared (didn't marry an other mantis oh god kajsksbdjs)

- Po is the youngest member and Mantis is the oldest

- Oogway and Kai met in the army but they knew eachother's existence before that. They just weren't talking to eachother at all

- Kai listens to Oogway's "deep talks". When he was young he couldn't exactly come up with words to explain what is in his mind and tell it, Kai watched him as he mixed 15 random words together to explain what his philosophical thoughts were

-Shen had a close relationship with his parents till the age of 5. Then it fell apart

- Tai Lung used to count his spots regularly to see if he had grown any more. He stopped after he finished puberty

What are your thoughts on Kung-Fu Panda 4?

Kind of like Wish (still liked it better tho, Wish was just "okay")

In itself, a good movie I liked, I was surprised to love Zheng (is that how it's spelled ?) when I was sure I'd hate how she was shoehorned in the franchise but no she was touching and fun, the humor held up, even if she were not deep I liked the Chameleon (I guess a franchise does need at least one villain who hss no trauma and is jist evil because, she was still likable and charismatic and not exagerated), Mr Ping and Li Shan were amazing and hilarious together (you can't tell me they are not married at this point), I thought I would hate how the Furious Five were not there but they were given a satisfying explanation why that truly made it feel like Po's own journey this time and it felt like all was forgiven when they appear at the very end, Tai Lung was there and even if I was disappointed we were actually clickbaited and lied to (HE DOESN'T BECOME GOOD OR APPEAR MUCH !?!?! FUCK YOU !!!!!), he still finally found solace and a form of redemption or at least a path closer to it by finally being at peace with Po and accepting him as the dragon warrior and grow respect for him which was enough for my 10 years old soul to have found inner peace and feel feels about him. My baby, he finally healed...

But as the way it was advertised... a fucking joke. We were lied to for Tai Lung, Shifu was useless to the plot and made into a joke, Po's new status was super simplified as a magical power, I don't like the different style for the new characters they don't feel like belonging to the KFP universe, the Dragon Warrior is supposed to be known all across China but now only the Valley knows about him, not enough serious moments for too much comedy (it was good sure, but really not the balance the first 2 movies had), speaking of which SO many retcons (LORD SHEN NEVER WAS A KUNG FU MASTER !?! NOR WENT TO THE SPIRITS REALM, HE LITERALLY FUCKING DIED !?!?! ANF KAI WASN'T A MASTER EITHER ?!?!) and oversimplification (magic used to be subtle in the mortal world in the franchise. Now suddenly a DBZ/final boss type of fight really ?), and ALL THE FUCKING WASTED POTENTIAL WHEN YOU READ ALL THAT WAS GIVEN UP ON BY THE SHITTY DIRECTOR WHO DARED CALLING THE ONE OF THE FIRST MOVIES A NOBODY (Then I am told *I* disrespect her for shipping a ship she sees as friends !?!) AND IN FACT PLANNED WORSE (LIVE ACTION !? HUMANS ?! NO FURIOUS FIVE AT ALL ?! NO BACKGROUND STORIES FOR THE CHAMELEON AND ZHENG AT ALL SO THEY HAD TO CRAM THEM LAST MINUTE ?! *HE* IS A NOBODY) AND WE WILL NEVER HAVE HER AMAZING IDEAS I'D HABE FUCKING KILLED AS A 10 YEARS TO EVER SEE BUT NEVER EVER WILL BECAUSE OF HIM AND THE MOVIE IS DONE !?!? So I'll say I liked it, as much as the 3rd in fact, but knowing how much better it could have been if it were not given to an egocentric manchild who understood nothing about the heart and soul of tge first trilogy and how much better the concepts are 10 years old me had been wishing for and would have finally found closure in but I will never, *ever* have this closure about Tai Lung and I wilm never ever see them animated and voiced because his return was wasted because of HIM, it makes me mad and sad...

3 things that all the Kung Fu Panda villains have in common:

1: they all want something that's impossible for them to have.

Tai Lung wants to be dragon warrior, Shen wants to avoid his destiny, and Kai wants infinite power.

2: they are emotionally driven.

They all went bad because they FELT betrayed.

3: they are suffering at their own hands.

Tai Lung could've accepted he wasn't dragon warrior and moved on. Shen could've accepted his fate and moved on. Kai could've accepted he couldn't have infinite power and moved on. But they didn't, and that's on them.

Они социально неловкие, потому что это их первые отношения. У них в целом беды с социальным взаимодействием, потому что они привыкли к рамкам «руководитель и подчиненный». Здоровые и равноправные отношения, где нет четкого разделения на «ведущего» и «ведомого», для них в новинку.

В то же время сложно поверить, что для Шеня они первые, тому что он ведет себя довольно раскованно и развязно. Тай Лунг же напротив, довольно сдержанный. Вообще в их паре именно Шень самый эмоциональный (и нередко агрессивный). Он открыт в выражении своих чувств, в то время как Тай Лунгу нужно время, чтобы открыться.

Причина, по которой начались их отношения, - они оба травмированные дети с daddy issues, которые нашли утешение друг в друге. Тай Лунг и Шень чувствуют себя услышанными, понятыми и принятыми, когда говорят друг другу о прошлом.

При этом Шень не очень тактильный, но ради любимого терпит, потому что понимает, как для него это важно. Язык любви Шеня - время. В детстве родители уделяли ему мало времени, поэтому этот показатель для него важен. Даже если времяпровождение заключается в совместном лежании и ничегонеделании, он дорожит каждой минутой.

Aftercare - самая любимая часть процесса у Тай Лунга. У Шеня - прелюдия. Причем Шень подходит к ней творчески, как чансань (китайская гейша): песни, игра на музыкальных инструментах, поэзия, танцы и т.п.

Dragons Among Us Theory!!

Alright, KFP4 trailer is out and I have a couple of theories that all point to one similarity and that is; DRAGONS! Now, we all know this is the Year of the Dragon and all that jazz but this trailer takes it to another level from beginning to end so let's start how we always do here and press play; at the very start! We start with this Gate called a Paifang which is commonly used as an entrance for shrines, it can also be used for common structures and architecture but ssshh! This gate is obviously made from natural materials such as burnt paper which is common practice in said shrines during the new year to make wishes along with Wood which is a Chinese element! So, we might have hints of chi manifesting into the elements of the mortal realm into something far more mystical than we have ever seen within the series! Now, this is closely connected to Dragons, dw I didn't forget! Our first hint is Tai Lung here, aka "The Great Dragon", he's only here for this one sole reason. (People aren't gonna like hearing this but he's gonna be the last bit of energy for what is to come!) The Chameleon cannot truly transform into others perfectly, there is always an imperfection such as when she transforms into the elephant which has designs upon her head on its trunk, Tai Lung has red pants instead of purple, and Po as we've all seen is rather spiky! This all leads to ONE THING, she is a shapeshifting Dragon! And one that fits this description is Shen/Chen in Chinese mythology and makes sense of those weird aquatic like Lizards in her army that match no know species we know of. Aka they are Dragons in disguise acting as normal lizards.

The second thing is her tail here. It grows rather than switches and flips and sheds scales of different colors as she did with Tai and Po, this I believe along with the shadow that follows is her true form.

There could be a number of reasons why she wants Po's staff much less chi that aligns with the power much less essence of a Dragon because she is either a fallen dragon, an old god whose Shrine was left in the past by locals, or merely a Dragon wishing to ascend above what she is. It explains why the Director calls her more mystical than Kai, The Maker of Widows! She's an ancient being whose already tapped into chi and the nature around here along with knowing Dragon style already! And shoutout to my boy @thegreatying for telling me about Tibetan Temples cause I was confusing them with another type of Chinese temple so peep that info here!: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibetan_Buddhist_architecture Honestly, this is going to be one of the best villains of this series with this concept alone, we are finally getting hints at Dragons and the door between the mortal realm and Heaven (aka the spirit realm) into the plot that continues on from what kfp3 left behind. The fact that chi is now normal and accessible makes beings like her look less special and less powerful. But gives her an opening for something even bigger than we could all expect!! So, that is my theory, that The Chameleon is just a code name for her taken form and that in reality, she is a shape-shifting Dragon and her army is also Dragons in disguise! With the themes of temples, shrines and maybe some commentary on Tourism in our future and how they affect old shrines and gods when we find it too inconvenient to visit them... Or maybe just maybe we'll get a hint at a true god-or maybe a Demi GOD YOU KNOW WHO IM TALKING ABOUT WUKONG! Anyways, that's all for now~!

I just thought up some headcanons to make the movie make more sense to me than it ever was (even though I didn't watch it, I just read the wiki). So here they are!

Chameleon wasn't actually born in China, she was actually from the forests of Madagascar before she and her parents moved to China due to unknown reasons (let's say... Forest fires and deforestation, which seems too modern for an ancient setting.)

It's not her height that got her kicked out of many kung-fu schools, it's because she was from a different continent, she was an outsider is what I'm saying, but they can't say it out loud so they used her height as an excuse.

Her getting rejected by the kung-fu schools happened way before Oogway and Shifu's time, and way before the whole "Anyone can do kung-fu" schtick (or so I think)

She was a victim of bullying when she was a child (and still is as an adult), often called a freak of nature and, most rarely, a monster. This bullying also affects how she views herself once I get to the next headcanon.

She has an awful fear of mirrors, more specifically her own reflection. Having shattered 80 mirrors (cursing her with 560 years of bad luck), she is very subconscious about her appearance and hates herself for how she looks. She doesn't just steal others' kung-fu because she can't learn it, it's also because she thinks others are more appealing, appearance-wise, so she takes their kung-fu, along with their appearance, to make herself comfortable.

BONUS HEADCANON I JUST THOUGHT OF WHILE BACK: Chameleon's eyes dilate like a cat's, which is VERY UNLIKELY for a chameleon to do but hey, she has slits like a cat's, who's to blame me for thinking that headcanon?

And now we enter the headcanons that correlate with my KFP OC, Wu Yingyi!

(Just a warning here: MAJOR TRIGGER WARNINGS SUCH AS ABUSE WILL BE LISTED, READ AT YOUR OWN CAUTION)

When Wu Yingyi first took control over everything (Spirit Realm and parts of China), Chameleon suffered so much from Yingyi and her wrath. Yingyi sliced off some meters of Chameleon's tongue, even stealing away her shapeshifting powers, rendering Chameleon under Yingyi's mercy, but alas, there was no mercy from Wu Yingyi as she took the realms with an iron fist.

Chameleon's mental health and insecurities worsen as her time with Yingyi continues, such as having panic attacks when something related to Wu Yingyi happens (such as when Wu Yingyi comes back or something) and worrying about every simple mistake in fear that Chameleon will be punished with a much worse punishment than the last.

Chameleon constantly blames herself over the smallest of things, calling herself names that no one would ever say to another person, like "idiot", "wretched filth", or "reptilian scum". What's worse? She calls herself those mean names because Wu Yingyi calls her that whenever she is really upset at Chameleon. (Hence the trigger warning I had to list.)

She never had anyone she could get support from during Wu Yingyi's terror, she never had anyone to comfort her in her time of need. She was alone, and always believed so. The only ones who could be her friends are Tai Lung, Lord Shen, and Kai, but even she, or the trio, doesn't believe they're friends at all, (as evidenced by the novelization of the movie where they used her as a jump rope. Well, they used her tongue as a jump rope but yeah), just villains under the mercy of Wu Yingyi's reign of control and monstrous intent.

The only time she ever felt love or care for someone during Yingyi's reign of terror was a poison-dart frog rogue (who is another OC of mine) named Poise, who is also not from China but managed to not have her trauma of being from a different continent overwhelm or consume her, and later on down the line, a young red panda (who is a demigod) named Hun-ho, who gave Chameleon some motivation and hope for the potential future of China after Yingyi's eventual demise.

Chameleon feels guilty for not treating Zhen as if she were her own daughter and blames herself for being an awful person to Zhen and everyone else thanks to it. (Another insecurity made by Yingyi's anger, because Yingyi wanted to be a mother but was robbed of that role and so takes it out on Chameleon because Chameleon was a pseudo-mother-like figure to Zhen, and wasn't a good one at that.)

The only times when the others (say Tai Lung, Lord Shen, or Kai) are concerned for her is when Chameleon is beaten by Yingyi in front of them, which, reminder, happens a lot, like- Chameleon gets beaten up a lot by Wu Yingyi right in front of Tai Lung, Lord Shen, and Kai, yet they're helpless (because they don't want to be like Chameleon, beaten up every time)

Just to note, when Yingyi is finally defeated; Chameleon begins redeeming herself from being a villain to being one of my other OC's babysitters, to put it sensically; she's one of the babysitters for Hun-ho, a demigod red panda born from a mystic peach (from a mystic tree) and even begins to understand the better things in life.

But for now, all Chameleon is, in my headcanons, is both a victim of the cruelest parts of life and, from the start, a girlfailure.

“What do you like about him?” someone asks you.

Po is the Dragon warrior of the valley of Peace, of course everyone loves him, but no one loves him more than you do.

When you and Po make it official, he basically would talk about it NON STOP.

Out on a mission? He tells the furious 5 that he misses you already, even though he just left the valley a minute ago.

AND can see your figure in the distance, watching him wave farewell by the bridge

Out to another part of China and staying at an inn? He’d tell the innkeeper about having a partner and would tell them all the amazing things about you

Maybe even the embarrassing ones too, but not on purpose!

He just pays close attention to you, loves you and every part of you

He fights enemies? Po had always been one to talk during battle. So to no one’s surprise, as he’s kicking butts he’d tell the enemy that he has a partner that he so adores, and who he misses so much

It gets pretty annoying for the enemies to the point they just have the urge to beat him up even more. Not that they can but oh well.

One of Po’s favourite moments is when he sees your face when he comes back from a mission

Your smile and the way you’d run up to him to give him a big hug.

You're smaller than him. But even then, he could feel how tight you wrap your (wings/paws/arms) around him.

Just by your hug alone he can tell how much you missed him as well

“Po you're back! How was the mission? Were you hurt?” you’d ask while checking his whole body for any cuts, injuries and bruises.

If you catch him come back home with an injury no matter how small, you’d yell and panic while dragging him back to the village to attend to him

Even if he tell you over and over it’s fine and that it doesn't hurt as much, you refuse to let him walk around with an injury

He loves that you care so much about him.

Po loves to bring back souvenirs for you as well when he goes out on a mission.

Be it keychains, posters, food or anything.

If he sees something cool that he knows you’d like.. he’d get it.

You appreciate all of the gifts he gives you and keep it on a shelf in your home that is dedicated to the stuff Po gives you.

Whenever he visits your place, he’d take a glance at that shelf and smile to himself.

Happy that you appreciate his gifts enough to dedicate a whole shelf for it.

Po makes some of the best noodles in the village

He is the son of Mr. Ping, the goose who owns the best noodle shop in the valley

Whenever you both decide to have a chill date, you’d both go up your favourite hill and enjoy some of Po’s noodles

“Po seriously you can do EVERYTHING! Kick butts, save the world and make noodles!” you praised him, while gulping down his noodles

“Nahhh my dad makes the best noodles, but I am very good at kicking butts and saving the world" he chuckles, acting all so humble.

You don’t argue though

because even if he thinks he doesn’t make the best noodles, he is right about being good at his job as the dragon warrior.

Po also appreciates that you don’t date him just because he is the dragon warrior.

You don’t treat him like a trophy, make his job the main focus of everything.

You see Po for Po, and you are with him BECAUSE he is him, not the dragon warrior.

If Po starts doubting who he is as a person, you gently remind him and lead him back to the right path and show him who he truly is.

“Never lose sight of who you are, Po.”

When the valley is in danger, his very first instinct is to find you and protect you. He knows that the safety of everyone else in the valley is in good hands… paws and wings.

He’d (try) run to where you live and when he finds you he will be very relieved.

If you are unharmed this is how he’d react:

“(Name) I’m so glad you're safe” and just like you, he’d check your body for any injuries. “I’ll get you out of here okay? Just stay with my dad and I’ll find you once this is all over.”

“Okay, please be careful Po,” you nodded in agreement, holding his paws with a worried expression.

“I promise.” He would do anything to keep his promise. Po couldn't bear to break it

If you are harmed this is how he’d react:

When Po finds you harmed, be it with any of your body parts stuck under rubble or getting an injury that causes you to be in pain…

He’d panic and the anger sets in

He’d save you first, carry you bridal style and run away from the scene leaving the enemy (if there is any) with the furious 5 “You're going to be just fine (name)! I promise you so don’t leave me now!”

It’s clear in his face that he is very, very worried for you and your wellbeing

Po would put the blame on himself if he ever lost you.

Will think it's all his fault that he wasn't by your side to protect you

You being attentive as always even when in pain, realise this and gently smiled at him with all the strength you have left

“Po, I’m going to be just fine, okay? Don’t worry. I won’t leave you”

With your whispered reassurance, he becomes less tense and nods. Believing your words.

There was just no way you’d leave him here all alone. You will be with him through every step of the way, and him with you.

When everything is done and he defeats the enemy, he’ll find you ( and his dad) immediately.

Overall, Po would be a wonderful boyfriend. He may not be smart, but he does make you feel loved, safe, happy and content.

And that is truly, all that matters.

I had an idea for quite a while...

So, I was incredibly inspired by @seaslugfanclub Disney Villains/ y/n park assistant concept, so I thought something.

What if there was another company (generic name supposedly) that to go against this incredible idea of the Disney Parks to make the Villains turn into actual people decided to do the same thing with non- Disney Villains as well?

And this other y/n had to take care of them, because they are also very chaotic without a lead of some kind?

The Villains i had in mind for this headcanon series are: Rasputin from Anastasia, Eris from Sinbad the Legend of the Seven Seas, Rothbart from Swan Princess, Thrax from Osmosis Jones, Pitch Black from Rise of the Guardians, Mok Swagger from Rock and Rule, maybe the Kung Fu Panda Villains (Tai Lung, Lord Shen and Kai), also the Shrek villains? I'm still undecided tho

They could also interact with the Disney Villains as well, and make up cool scenarios too!

Kung Fu Panda Modern!AU: Po has a band called Tenacious P, that mostly does covers of other songs. The band consists of himself (lead singer), Monkey, and Dim and Sum. Tai Lung is a very clandestine fan. No way will he ever admit that he listens to their music, but he has a playlist that he likes to listen to while he's training consisting of almost all of their songs.

Silly headcanons bc @thunder-jolt has caused me to ship Kai x Shen

I love this crackship sm

1. Kai doesn't understand sexual innuendos, Shen realises this after many innuendos he said went over Kai's head

2. Shen likes resting his head on Kai's gut when sleeping near him

3. They act overly affectionate around Tai Lung to annoy him and make him feel lonely

4. Kai likes flustering Shen by calling him things like "pretty little birdie"

5. Shen will sometimes just peck Kai to get his attention and then scurry off when given attention just to be an ass

6. Both are probably asexual

7. Shen is clingy as fuck when tipsy/drunk
