one true fact about me is that i never buy clothes i just trust that they will find their way to me and they always do. every single time i think well i might not have enough clothes somebody hands me a box of them and it all works out. it might be a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy because everyone around who acquires clothing items in large quantities around me goes "well i know someone around this size who absolutely would take these off my hands without asking any questions" but it works.
i have been living like this for years. its a bit macabre but many of the wardrobes belong to dead family members which gives me an air of distinguishness despite my lack of initiative which i think is great! the only downside is that when someone compliments my outfit i have to go "thanks someone's grandfather died and they didn't know what to do with his clothes so i stole his drip" which is far more jarring than saying second-hand store even though it's the same thing! i just cut out the middle man

kim is such a funny little guy like he emphasizes how little the rcm salary is when you ask about it (5500 reál annually- 460/mo) but here he is with his nice electronic sports watch and his little instant camera and his fancy revolutionary cosplay for plainclothes and he's living in the GRIH which can't be cheap and he's got his fancy little mnemotechnique notebooks which are like the moleskine of elysium i guess and his fancy little ballpoints that he does NOT want to share with you which i bet is because they cost him like a week of salary. and this is the rcm he's not getting stipends for supplies or watches or housing or probably even the gas for the kineema. poor as fuck but he is going to buy himself his little treats god damn it. if he lived in our world you know he'd be out getting himself a $9 vanilla soy milk half caf dirty chai iced latte every morning on the way to the station and eating instant noodles every night to claw out room in the budget for it

It was totally the bros' mom that gave them their matching outfits
Of course 😃
On a quick side note: it's obvious their mother also bought or made their hats for them before they were even born, with the intention of them lasting to adulthood!
As you can see from this image, as toddlers, their hats are way too oversized on their heads (like they are just barely sitting on)
Oh by the way don't imagine the Bros cuddling and sleeping on their hats when they were tiny newborn babies 🤭
And as you can see from the image, their overalls are clearly rompers.
Whereas in adulthood, their hats now fit perfectly 👍
Just a little detail I thought was worth mentioning 😊
Back to their outfits, I always wondered what would possess the Bros to wear outfits just like what they wore as toddlers. No adult ever does this (and yes I understand it makes sense from a character design perspective - but I'm talking about in universe logic); so my guess is that their mother made their adult overalls too! (because she is very sweet and seems to be one of the few who supports their business 💗) It would make sense given she would've used their toddler outfits as inspiration.

ARTISAN TOWN + FARMERS MARKET + RESTAURANT
We have so many farms & artisan producers on our island, it’s about time we built the perfect spot for them to sell their goods. So I built Shadowmoss a quaint downtown district.
There's a spot for the Able Sisters Tailor Shop, boutique shopping, as well as Antonio’s farm-to-table restaurant with waterfront dining. On the beach in front of our small town main street we have a little farmers market for our villagers to sell their local products.

how the fuck do i get a job when every stupid ass little novelty shop in downtown requires "one year retail experience 😻 and a PASSION for retail 😻😻😻" sorry but i think selling candles to 80 year olds shouldn't require a GED/high school diploma and a year's worth of work experience

Idk which is the funnier au where Marco’s a normal suits tailor who ends up with Sabo superspy as his vip client
Sabo who mistakes Marcos boutique as his safehouse and contact and keeps putting in increasingly difficult and expensive orders
Marco balking at the request for a bulletproof waistcoat like wh
What?
Has to call up a contact like what is this fabric and where do i procure it ? How do i work it? Hes an artist afterall and will ensure happy customers
OR
Marco is a normal civilian guy with a high profile job that needs many different suit fits
But hw accidentally walks into Sabo’s boutique, a lethal fashion brand that specialises in suits for the undercover the covert and the assassin
Marco ends up going to work in a three piece that totes quite a few separate undetectable weapons or support items like smokebomb cufflinks, a hidden sleeve tranq pistol, reinforced shoulder frame to absorb impact shock
Accidentally deploys a cufflink smokebomb in a meeting and sets off the sprinklers lmao
