Moon places an amethyst on Yasmine’s submerged stomach, other hand swiping lavender oil across her girlfriend’s cheeks. “You’ll feel better about yourself. More in control of your life.”

Yasmine blushes. Of course Moon pinpoints her most deep-seated issues with zero hesitation.

But if purple rocks, lilac candles, and lotus-and-violet-petal baths might fix them, so be it.

“So it really works.”

Moon laughs.

“Done this ritual a hundred times. Always clears my solar plexus.”

Moon peels off her tanktop, sliding in beside her. Their legs tangle together—thick vines to grow the flowers around them.

“Okay. You’re the expert.”

i genuinely think the people who insist the life series is scripted just don’t understand the difference between something scripted and something that’s been given a basic premise and directives that everyone involved in agrees to play along with for the bit. like, no, specific moments aren’t scripted, but there’s a reason the series isn’t just “best pvper wins” and it’s because they deliberately prioritise entertainment over pure skill because the same person winning every time just wouldn’t be fun.

like, for the most part they’re a bunch of drama kids who have been given the perfect playground to act out the shakespearian tragedy of their dreams (some more so than others) (hello rendog) and they’re given the tools and situation to do so but everything else is just improv. and they’re also just having fun like i think we should all remember they’re doing this to have fun with their friends and play on a server where anything goes and they can grief all they want and sometimes they’ll just make stupid mistakes like walking off the side of a diving board and dying because they were so miffed about losing to a best tower competition they forgot where the stairs were, or blowing themselves up with their own tnt trap because they placed one block in the wrong place.

also i think people forget just how generally predictable people are in general, like after five seasons you can definitely start to guess how people will behave because they’re just like that. joel is reckless and he likes to poke the bear, martyn is good at staying alive but not good at keeping hearts (the difference between winning limlife and going out early in secret life), scott is good at the social game and a formidable opponent but also terribly self sacrificial, bdubs will betray anyone he’s allied with if offered something good, etc etc etc

I've missed Love Island so much and I really wanted to try it out again, only this time in a mansion in Tartosa! (This mansion was built by plumbobkingdom.) I had so much fun with the OG Love Island, even if life got in the way of finishing it. SO! I would love to host Love Island once again and need your amazing sims to do it!

I love cc, so use as much (or as little) as you want. I don't have all the packs, but I will change outfits and things if they disappear in my game because of that.

Please give a backstory for your sim so I know how to write them!

Has anyone here ever tracked the Sunny-verse time-span for every episode of the show?

Like clearly a lot of episodes take place over the span of one day, but Frank's Back in Business takes place over a full week, Mac and Dennis Move to the Suburbs spans a whole month and 2020: A Year in Review is a full year....

I'm wondering if, for every episode, we compile the timeline information we get in context, in title cards, and from scripts we'd be able to figure the rough minimum/maximum amount of time in the Gang's lives each Season gave us...

Like, unarguably every episode in Season 7 takes place in under 2 months. The Gang Gets Analyzed establishes that Mac gained and lost all 60 pounds in 3 months, so everything that happens while Mac is fat (the whole season) had to take place in the middle of that timespan. Clearly Season 15 takes place across well over a year, with the first episode covering from the outbreak of COVID through fall of 2021, but most Seasons aren't so easy to gauge, falling somewhere in the vague passage of time, only knowable through spotty mentions or visuals.

Even just for the episodes themselves I think it would be a really interesting thing to track the timeline of each season

i know season 6 is the hilson season but something has been majorly re-arranged in wilson during (the beginning of?) season 8. he looks deflated at the thought of house being torn from his life again, before he gets up and actually lets some anger slip through at foreman. this is wilson after having seen house his self-destructive parade, this is wilson after what he thought was going to be a suicide, this is wilson after having had to let his hurt simmer in the year of house his absence, only to realize with his reappearance that being with house is his ride or die. the loyalty wilson has to house in these episodes is insane - he wants to avoid that house goes down the wrong path again. and he wants people to understand that house is an addict with a complicated thought pattern, before the consequences of people not taking that into account will hurt house again. idk man i just think something happened during house his absence that made wilson realize that house is his forever etc etc.

i do love canon amy & rory but god, does some part of me wish they really had gone with the idea of the doctor picking up a child as a companion (and then later, that child’s best friend with a huge crush on her.) with the rest of the season really not changing at all, except now it’s amelia pond with an angel in her head killing her and lost alone in the woods. it’s little rory who dies and is forgotten and becomes a toy soldier. if this is going to be a fairy tale, then let it be one. children have never been safe in fairy tales.
