Jukebox musical Dracula where “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” is the second act duet between Jonathan and Mina
Specifically for the DRAMA of the second verse with Mina singing “You don’t want to hurt me, but see how deep the bullet lies. Unaware I’m tearing you asunder,” and Jonathan singing “Is there so much hate for the ones we love? Tell me, we both matter, don’t we?”

EDIT: the original channel the video was posted on got hacked, you can find the new link over here!
Have you been reading Dracula Daily? Loving all the fun wacky adventures of all our favorite characters? Do you like vampires, comedy, and a good healthy amount of something ‘taking itself seriously when it really needs to’? Don’t mind a bit of musical theatre? Well, I sure have a musical for you ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Tanz der Vampire has been a long honored favorite bootleg of mine for years, conveniently subtitled in English on YouTube! It’s a fun little parody of lots of different vampire media over the years, following a professor and his assistant who come to a small town in search of the supernatural! With music by the late Jim Steinman, it’s wonderfully catchy and uhh you might find yourself even recognizing one of the songs. I won’t spoil that surprise though, it’s best if you just experience that for the first time yourself. Anyway. Broadway wishes it had a fraction of what Tanz der Vampire has. So here you go, just in time for this years spooky season:
