ryan's statement, "nobody else on youtube has made tv quality content" is really funny because nowadays, even tv shows with quality content *cough* taskmaster *cough* upload their episodes on youtube for free. i've done some research and it said that they can make up to 1m$ a year from youtube ad revenue.
i know it's not a good comparison, i just find it iffy that's all.

Unpopulore conspiracy: Sam Reich and Alex Horne are in fact the two aspects of one professional trickster god, or at least two demonic servants to the same suit-wearing deity from the Gameshow hosts dimension, whose specialty is making comedians' life a living hell. While the nature of their worship ritual is similar, there are subtly differing expressions. As Sam Reich is meticulous in his contraption designs, his victims are usually ambushed by intricately placed and carefully timed system of horrifically humourous torture. Alex Horne (ironically is the one named "Little Alex Horne" despite his comparatively larger stature) on the other hand, hides in plain sight. His evil schemes are concealed behind the guise of the meek, bullied assistant to The Taskmaster, the sometimes acquiescence to his own humiliation, and the deceptively straightforward and simple rules of the tasks. The terrified participants thus, upon these guidelines, self-personalise their own torment.

In terms of the cutting, I should say, Nick... Well, you're only allowed to cut a certain number. He snipped one and then put a plaster on it and so argued that he could then cut another one off.
