I might be in the minority in that I have never read any hint of jealousy at all from Hunter in this scene.

What I see is Hunter noticing that Omega and Crosshair have developed a bond; and considering that Crosshair has obviously been through excessively traumatic experiences, Hunter is wondering the full extent of what Omega went through for her and Crosshair to have become so close.

And he's concerned for both of them.

In the same story arc, he goes on to defend Crosshair when the other clones distrust him, and even steps back enough to let Crosshair look after Omega (that was a deliberate choice on Hunter's part, he saw that Crosshair had Omega covered and let it be, and no one will be able to convince me otherwise).

Add to this the fact that in the next story, "Bad Territory," Hunter tasks Omega with getting Crosshair to start facing the reality of his hand tremors (an assignment that will only be of benefit to BOTH siblings), I think Hunter is much more sensitive and understanding of what his siblings have gone through than we may have initially given him credit for.

Even more clone trooper headcanons, because yes.

(courtesy of my sibling) Hunter has a list of all the different dirts of different planets he's been to and he's rated each and every single one. Ex: Tatooine: no dirt, only sand. 0/10. Kashyyyk: very nice, many different kinds of dirt. Overall 8/10. He puts more detail into his descriptions but I'm too lazy to write all that.

Tup gets away with fucking everything. Those Tooka eyes are deadly.

Dogma can also do the Tooka eyes but chooses not too.

Hardcase gives the best massages. Sore neck? He'll fix it in no time. Sore back? He's got ya. Rex, Kix, and the mechanics love him.

Once, after a very long and already overstimulating day, Hardcase jokingly messed with one of Dogma's things and accidentally just, broke Dogma. He just started yelling at Hardcase, Which turned into him yelling at Fives, Which turned into him just kinda yelling at no one in particular about things that upset him. Yes there are videos of it, and yes it haunts him every single day of his existence.

Crosshair = Cat. He gravitates towards warm spaces, knocks things off of tables to make room for his own stuff, his eyes do that reflective thing in the dark. And more.

Jesse occasionally just, faints. Kix can't figure out what's wrong and he hates It.

Tup needs glasses but he goes with contacts because A, glasses break easily. And B, they can't fit underneath his bucket. Also he can't find a pair he likes.

Rex is all responsible and stuff when it comes to his legion. But the second he's with the command batch he suddenly has no survival instincts and becomes so chaotic he rivals Anakin. This disturbs everyone In the 501st. (Also, this only happens when at least three other members of the command batch are present.)

Dogma has a little emotional support plushie that's weighted. Shaak-ti gave it to him when he was a cadet and he can't sleep without it. (It's a BLÅHAJ. I'm not even gonna try and lie. It's a weighted space BLÅHAJ.)

Bly has an engagement ring picked out for Aayla but he keeps chickening out whenever he goes to propose. Aayla knows about the ring and all his attempts. Aayla acts oblivious.

I'm just gonna keep making more of these I don't care if you don't like em.

The bad batch- How would they react if you’d hug them.

Hunter: He would probably be stiff, as he’s not overly expressive with physical touch or affection. However once he’s comfortable with you, he’d relax and return the hug, and would protect you, his hand on your back, and his other hand on your head.

Wrecker: Wrecker would be totally obsessed with hugs, and he would probably lift you off your feet in an excited, bear-like squeeze. He would laugh and chuckle, showing how much he enjoys the physical connection. His hugs would be big and warm, and he’d likely not realize his strenght first, so it might come with a bit of unintentional crushing, but it’s because he’s too excited.

Tech: Tech would be a bit confused and awkward first, since he’s not the most emotionally expressive, but would return the hug. He’s likely freeze for a moment and woud assess/analyze the situation before returning the hug,but if he truly cares about you, he would, and after the hug he would probably start yapping something about the significance of human touch or personal space, but overall he would be okay with it, just a little awkward, confused.

Crosshair: Crosshair would probably be the most reluctant at first. He might tense up or flinch, pulling away slightly. If he truly, and i mean truly cares about you, then he would offer a quick instant hug, or an one-arm hug. In a more believable scenario, if you ran up to Crosshair crying and hugged him, he would awkwardly pat your back or head, but he’d still remain distance. He’d try to keep a bit of space between you, though it would be clear he’s not entirely unaffected by the situation.

Echo: Echo, being more emotionally aware and vulnerable due to his past experiences, would be very grateful for a hug. At first he might seem unsure, but once he’s comfortable he’d lean into it, accepting the physical connection. His hug would be thoughtful and genuine, maybe holding a little longer than expected as he finds comfort and reassurance in the gesture.
