if i had a nickel for everytime a man (illegally) adopted a kid without informing his tired black-haired housemate with awful posture i'd have two nickels- which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Reading through Witch Hat Atelier, extremely slowly because the art is amazing and I have to stop to marvel at every chapter. Everything about this series is a delight thus far, I would definitely recommend it.
(This is a panel redraw from the first chapter. I'm only on the second.)

Hello all - it has been a while, I've been unwell/exhausted for some time so I'm behind on sharing images from Shirahama's twitter. I hope to catch up soon.
This one is too important to wait with the ongoing genocide in Gaza, however. If you are not familiar with Handala (created by political cartoonist Naji al-Ali, depicted as the age he was at the time of the Nakba), he is a symbol of Palestine and its people, and their continued defiance of the genocide and imperalism against them. Many artists have been drawing their characters in the same pose as Handala (pictured below) - Shirahama shared her drawing of Coco yesterday (9th Jan) with the following link which calls for other cartoonists in Japan to join.
As many of us are not Japanese artists, I'd like to share with you something you can contribute: every 24 hours you can go to this site and click to generate donations for Palestine from the website sponsors. It takes seconds and requires no registration or personal details to be provided - please make this a part of your daily routine!
[ID: An image of Handala He is a small boy, facing away from the viewer with his hands held together behind his back. He has bare feet and simple, patched clothes. His hair is depicted as simple, single strokes come from an otherwise hairless head. END ID]
