Justifications

Tom: His Game Theories aren't as off the wall as the other hosts and he seems like the type to tuck in his shirt, idk. I honestly don't know where else to put him.

Dan: As a Guest Host Dan is willing to read MatPat's cringey lines but can't stop himself from leaving commentary on them. He also has the power of the Edit on his side but doesn't abuse the power.

Amy: Makes her friends sniff each other's armpits and wear peepee pants. But she will also wear the peepee dress and sniff the pits so she's pretty lawful in my book.

MatPat: MatPat has gone on record to say he thinks he's a chaotic neutral (which feels right, coming from the man who brought us Best Boobs in Gaming but also did a Food Theory just for his son). However if you factor in his entire career trajectory, he mostly falls under Good and might even be considered Lawful Good if not for the Luigi's Penis and "Dream is my Son" episodes.

Steph: The True Neutral. Could destroy everyone on this chart. Chooses tea instead.

Lee: I think Lee does a good job presenting the most questionable theories with an aura of professionalism. Lee. Please. Jax and Pomni are not NPCs, please I'm so tired. Film Theory also feels like the most evil channel, maybe its the red logo.

Ash: Ash "I did crime" GTLive is the politest criminal on YouTube. Respectfully.

Sam: Honestly could be evil, should be evil, but instead chooses to steal baseball bats using his ant army.

Santi: Repeatedly denies that corporate greed is ruining America. He also might be in this slot so that he is Tom's direct opposite because its funnier that way.

Also, I want to hear about the zombie apocalypse fic even if you can't work on it. Zombie AUs are fun.

I don't check up on the theorist fandom for a couple weeks and apparently both Tom and his wife read the Santom mpreg fanfiction??? And apparently the official Team Theorist twitter account made a tweet about their ship name??? I clearly missed a few chapters here 😭

A tribute to not just MatPat for the years of fun and educational content that I grew up with but also the new hosts of the four theory channels, Tom, Lee, Santi and Amy as well as Team Theorist as a whole for being THE childhood favourite channel that I always came back to and will always come back too.

I'm so excited to see the new era of the Theorists channels with these 4 amazing creators as the new hosts AND I'm excited for all the things Mat has planned as well!

These channels have been so special to me and while it's bittersweet to say goodbye to Mat, it's exciting to see how these channels will grow!

Theorist!Izuku AU? Izuku having a HeroTube channel centered around his theories regarding Quirks and the like?

Series: Boku no Hero Academia AU Criteria: Izuku creates a HeroTube channel centered around quirk theories. AU title (optional): Theorist!Izuku

With the deepest and most heartfelt love to MatPat and the crew at Team Theorist. I hope I do honor to you.

Shortly after finding out that he was Quirkless, Izuku is allowed some time on the computer, and Inko stumbles upon some old videos that catches his interest. He grows to enjoy the group known as the Theorists, a pre-quirk group that developed theories around the media of the time. Over months and months of videos, he decides he wants to bring them back, to revive the theorists community and while he wasn't much for media, he was already processing quirks with the level of detail and analysis that the theorists did for their media.

His favorite is the GTLive videos, but starts doing Quirk Theory videos, adopting a bit more of the confidence of MatPat to start with greeting his audience with "HELLO INTERNET! And welcome to Quirk Theory. This show is where we break down the abilities of Heroes, Villains, and if you like it enough, I may even take submitted quirks." His first few videos are rough, and he work hard on polishing the quality before he does his first long video. The short ones are 30 minutes, the five hour dissertation on All Might shortly after his 14th birthday was a massive bomb, and after he posted it, he had to take the day off due to finals. It took off, and his other videos get attention from certain people.

He had a video about a 'theoretical' quirk that could take and give quirks to people. The video was posted for approximately an hour before being taken down at the request of his manager, who got a call by the commission. Apparently the uses that he provided scared the bejebus out of them. Nezu managed to keep a copy though. Nezu really enjoys his theories, and is following his career with interest.

During his last year of middle school, he begins getting invitations from multiple high schools. He is torn between all of them, as quirk consuling and analysis programs tend to be lacking in his opinion. Two invitations stand out, both for the same school. One is from Nezu, implying that he would love to work with developing on Izuku's skills and has a project for him to work on if he's interested. The other is from All Might, speaking of sponsoring him going to UA, if he will help with a private and secret matter.

Nezu wants him to analyze and develop the quirks of the heroics classes that will be 1-A and 1-B during his first year at UA, along with any students that catch his attention, with possible expansion as hhis skills develop.

All Might wants his help in finding and training a protege, sharing the secret with him so he can work on it. All Might even suggests that Izuku was very close about his quirk in his analysis, but giving him a few missing pieces to let it sink in without saying it outloud. The offer to train Izuku is left on the table…
