Librarian Tumblr...
Is there an archive of teen magazines (Seventeen, YM, Sassy) from the 80s and early 90s online, so I don't feel guilty about tossing these old issues in recycling?
FYI

Teenage girls in the 90′s
Let’s take a look back and go over some of the things that Teen Girls did in the 90′s.
1. Babysit: Girls as young as sometimes 11 and 12 would babysit for neighbors
2. Talk on the phone: Girls would talk for hours on the phone with either their best friends or boyfriends. Having a phone in your room was like a rite of passage
3. Doing your makeup: Girls didn’t have tutorials to follow so we would experiment with makeup and often times stumble along the way.
4. Reading teen magazines: Girls would Pour through magazines and cutting out pictures and posters of your favorite stars and making collages
5. Hanging out at the mall: Girls would meet up with friends or boyfriends and just chill out
This is my top 5 list of being a teen girl in the 90′s.

Tina was launched by Fleetway in February 1967, using the name and artwork of an existing Dutch girls' paper. The first issue came with a free troll badge.
After 30 issues it merged with Princess and relaunched as Princess Tina. The latter absorbed Penelope in 1969, then tried a makeover around issue #300, dropping the cutesy artwork and switching to more pop content. It lasted another 30 issues before folding into Pink in early 1974.
