Still not over how well characterized and balanced every character is portrayed in the Teen Titans 2003 series: every single Titan can be funny, dejected, serious, determined, silly, angry, optimistic, vulnerable and tough without major inconsistencies in their overall portrayals.

Huge props to the writers of that show who knew exactly how to give each Titan a realistic range of emotions without deviating away from their basic personalities--it's an extremely difficult feat to accomplish, depicting characters through many different phases and arcs while keeping them consistent, and they did it flawlessly.

"YOU. ARE. GOING. TO. SHIFT!!" Robin yells, punctuating each word with a slam of his staff down upon your skull.

"Please, I'm not ready," you whine like a little bitch.

"YOU'VE BEEN READY! THE POWER IS WITHIN YOU!" he shouts, breaking your ribs in order to help you detach from your cr body ♡

"Please, you're breaking my bones!" you complain loudly.

"BONES ARE A CONSTRUCT! YOU ARE MORE THAN YOUR PHYSICAL BODY!" he reassures you comfortingly. You sob into a puddle of your own blood as he continues to rhyme you up. You feel yourself getting closer to your desired reality, but it's not enough.

"ITS NOT WORKING! CYBORG, DEPLOY THE WEEZER BLUE ALBUM METHOD!" Robin orders. From somewhere nearby you hear it- my name is Jonas.

Suddenly you're filled with a burst of inspiration and you feel yourself HRRNNNHHGG SHIFTINNGGGGG

"YES! YOU CAN DO IT!" Robin yells as he hits you with his staff repeatedly, and finally, finally you feel yourself detach from your current reality and you see your dr.

You successfully permashifted because robin killed your original body for you.

Not to put any serious critical thought into the universe of Teen Titans Go but Nightwing having a Batman Beyond picture on his wall in the future is really funny for a few reasons. First of all, it implies Bruce retires WAY earlier in this universe and Terry takes over pretty much right away. So Old Man Bruce is like 40 in this dimension.

It also implies Terry and Dick are such great friends that Dick would get a picture of Terry printed out and put it up. Which I can totally believe would be a logical thing to do given the nonsensical nature of this universe but it’s funny specifically because he put Terry up instead of Bruce which I think probably says a lot

and 3) TTA starfire wont let TTA robin kill them
