hey here's a question, what the fuck is up with major cable networks still airing The 700 Club after a certain time? i was watching the fucking Office and it came on afterwards immediately delving into anti-choice and pro-illegal abortion bullshit like excuse me, how is this 200 year old blantantly conservative Christian show still getting enough money to broadcast at 11pm (my prime time) on major networks when they can't even get an anchor under 60????

When the latest Fantasy High episode aired, a lot of people in the comments were like "I know INSTANTLY who Bobby Dawn is and I HATE HIM"

And now I've watched it and I was unprepared for 1. How little he actually spoke in the episode, and 2. Just how much I REALLY WOULD instantly hate him just based off 1-2 lines of dialogue

ahhh, love that so much because same!! i don't want to be alone in this rabbithole lmao but i just think there's something so enticing about the concept itself and ever since devouring midnight mass and preacher, i can't get the idea of corrupted clergy out of my head. or, like, corrupting clergy.

but it's also very easy to take his canon convictions and flip them around. replace war with god and you have yourself a preacher. i don't want him to be clean, either. his sermons are all about being soldiers of god. all old scripture. you catch him drinking whisky, smoking cigars. he cusses. he's bloodthirsty. forgiveness is much too new testament to him, yanno? he's more about divine punishment. scorched earth. you are either saved or a sinner, and there's no in between.

but don't worry, he's going to save you. willingly or not.
