I went to the Avatar concert recently, and the woman sitting next to me had never seen the show or heard the music before. She just liked live symphonies and had season tickets to the theater.

By the end, she had gone from being a little bemused by the tone of the show clips to actually crying (borrowed a tissue from me) because she was so moved by the Avatar peace theme.

Tbh, the fact that ATLA wasn’t even nominated for a Best Music Award in 2008 is the ultimate sign that the Emmies are a load of circlejerk bullshit. Imagine thinking Family Guy had a better dramatic score than Avatar. What the hell.

“So, who are James and Sadie? Tell us about yourselves!”

“I’m James, I’m 22 years old and currently in my third year studying music at HU. I sing and play guitar in the band.” “And I’m Sadie, I’m 20 and also studying music at HU. I’m the female lead of the band.”
