DISCLAIMER: I generally do not recommend wild pets as they are unpredictable, usually unhealthy, and always unsustainable. As this was a non-native species about to be blown off the face of this pillar (and earth) by a massive storm, I made an exception.

Chinese Mantids are 1) not native to my area and are harming pollinators, 2) outcompeting native mantids for resources, and 3) are one of the most popular and best beginner mantis I've researched. I made a not so impulsive impulse decision. Do not try this at home, kids!
