Mild spoilers for Indigo Disk, but this goes its own direction, based on some conversations with some friends about Kieran’s… direction.
I thought it’d be touching if Team Rocket were the ones to get Kieran out of his funk, allowing the boy to take charge and evolve a bit more, compared to the games which … regresses him somewhat. Going with the two Terapagos idea, this one is in Area Zero, and is the Shiny ✨ variant to keep it distinct from Liko’s. Jessie, James, Meowth and Kieran got the idea to hunt for the mysterious treasure from Briar, who was talking to Ash, Iono, Alfie, Iris and Cilan about it at BBA. Kieran had studied under Blair in this version of events, and knew right where to go to help Team Rocket uncover the ancient treasure.
Afterwards, Kieran and Team Rocket start to bond with Shiny Terapagos, giving Kieran something to make friends with after Ogrepon didn’t … pan out. (Probably a throwaway bit in here probably has Kieran somewhat snidely saying he’s so over Ogrepon and moved on when Alfie and Ogrepon try to talk to him.) Things seem to be going well, until Team Rocket decides to go out for mochi to celebrate…

Area Zero....As we keep going deeper we discover new mysteries of this place, luckily Koraidon has been very helpful in this expedition...although I have warned my comrades that its attitude towards humans is still not the most friendly

something I only just noticed after catching Groudon, both it and Lugia in Indigo Disk have Fire / Water as their tera types respectively instead of one of their normal types

Not So Stellar
---
"You're saying, that this Teratype only grants boost on different moves only once, and it doesn't change my defensive typing at all...
Nah, I want my Ice Tera back." - Starburst, in dismay.
Disappointed Luxio aside, this is actually a fun little mini project, albeit it took time to finish. In fact it's been a while since I last did an art project that's not MtLu, comm or collab. It might as well be a continuation of the Derp Cats with Derp Crowns, with this being the derpiest Tera Jewel ever (correct me if I'm wrong). Not the hardest to redraw however.

You can support me via [Ko-fi] and/or [Patreon] Tips are much appreciated.

First of two designs I made to get a pair of custom TCG playmats made. Since I'm currently playing an Arcanine Ex deck, it only made sense.

so i’ve made this post before but one big thing for me when viewing these games as a whole is that i think the time travel elements are a red herring - the points that lead me to this conclusion are:
1) Paradox Pokémon being sighted 200 years before the time machine was allegedly built.
2) That every Paradox Pokémon lines up with some obviously made up pulp nonsense in sci-fi magazines you find in the library.
3) The AI Professor can't leave the crater and has to remain close to the crystals at the bottom of the crater to continue functioning.
3-b) The real Professor being able to make the AI Professor in the first place. Or a time machine for that matter (with nary a reference or nod to the two Pokémon we know that can manipulate time).
3-c) The real Professor's motivations for doing what they did.
4) The presence of the imaginary Pokémon in the book, obviously setting up that they're going to appear later.
5) That the Disk Pokémon has its info redacted every time it gets brought up, in both the book (Arven mentions post-game that the book is blurred out in the exact same way in every single copy) and the Professor’s Journals.
5-b) Heath details a dream he has scattered memory of and includes a page full of stuff he apparently wrote that he doesn't understand.
6) The Disk Pokémon is apparently the source of Terastallization, a phenomena which can change a Pokémon to any type.
To me, all these little details point to this Disk Pokémon being some kind of reality warper/wish fulfilment type. Heath and the research team wanted to see strange Pokémon, it made strange Pokémon for them to find. The Professor was obsessed with ancient/futuristic Pokémon, dedicated their lives to finding them, and use the crystals in the crater to apparently achieve that, and then when they need another pair of hands that understands their vision of paradise, and build an AI and house it in an almost indistinguishably human-like chassis, once again with the help of the crystals. They have the impossible idea then somehow achieve it using elements derived from this unknown Pokémon (and Terastallization being a literal crystallization of that - 'wouldn't it be cool if X Pokémon was Y type?'). All information on this Pokémon is obscured because it doesn't want to be found.
When this Paradox Beast/Sword appears, that'll be the clincher that time travel wasn't what was really going on and we're dealing with something else entirely. Something that has had eyes everywhere throughout this entire game, in the crown every Terastallized Pokémon wears.

The other day, I was watching the Pokémon anime and thought tera types are a bit dull.
Instead of crystal hats, the crystals could be integrated into their bodies. For example, if it were a flying type, it could have blue crystal wings.✨💎

Legends Arceus needs to stop showing me new little details I keep discovering when I go ingame for references to OTHER things I'm looking for XD
These symbols they used for the statues in snowpoint temple
Are the same ones used in Scarlet and Violet Tera raid typings XD
Now I get its probably reusing assets from the Scvi team since they were worked on roughly around the same time maybe. Not uncommon to do that, but this would mean these statues were the first instance that the tera icons were ever shown before Scarlet and Violet was even announced. They aren't in Sword and Shield!
LORE WISE who knows why they're there. They're used for the Regis typings in the puzzles inside the temple but for lore reasons, it's crazy to think Sinnoh and Paldea have anything remotely linking them to each other (besides the Pokemon Home connectivity to bring the Hisuian pokemon to Paldea soonish) they are so far apart XD
I love stumbling on tiny details like this, it's the Pokedex wearing down all over again! XD

So with the new tera type gimmick… does this mean I finally get to live out my childhood dream of having a crystal onix?
