It's adorably sickening how endearing he is.

It makes your heart ache when you try to hide your smile. Not of anything bad, really, but rather the opposite. Because there lies your truth beneath your smile in reasons of him. The truth he's yet to know.

The truth he's undeniably cute in oblivious of.

He is such a loser.

A damn loser who has your heart skipping its beat when you walk through the school gates. A damn loser that makes you soar inside as you see him for the first time in the day. A damn loser who you loudly cheer for in the bleachers to each game, win or lose, your heart screams for him.

If your noise for him isn't enough to be heard, you could only hope your silence could be.

Nevertheless, you don't take it upon him.

One of the smartest people you know and still could be the dumbest. Always adorably so. Irritating, however—he's cute.

"What?" He asks, his eyebrows raising, along with that damn smirk of his.

Breaking you out of your daze. The two of you sitting across from each other. You've lost yourself while he was talking about his volleyball activities that you yourself asked of.

You only look at him, not saying anything for a moment but just stare, your smile evident. "What?" He laughs. It's a knowing look of yours, that he can tell, but he doesn't know.

You clicked your tongue, "Nothing." You shrugged, your little, calm smile stays nonetheless.

"Seriously." He pressed, playfully so despite that he really wants to know.

Your lips turns up more as you look down on your lap. Whether he's still as clueless or he's beginning to know the littlest of it—you couldn't care less at the moment.

Softly huffing out a little laugh to yourself as you look at him then again, "Nothing," you utter again, tutting your head lightly. Your bright smile turns calm and little again, but one could not miss how fonder it became.

He doesn't.

It's a wonder how you could held his gaze with him not breaking it, all while his grinning eyes remains. "I just....." You trail off, your voice turning mellow. "Adore you."

Tetsu breathes a little laugh. He nods as he looks down for a second, his ever teasing grin melting to a smile he rarely has. He looks up but to the side, his smile stays and it gets wider.

Before he looks back at you again. And there you figure, that finally—"I know."

mornings at the kuroo household are nothing but fun. tetsu wakes up early to the sound of your baby’s cries, and tiredly waddles to the crib to comfort them. he sits in the large beanbag that he decided to get for the nursery (he thought it would be a nice place to cuddle with the baby), and strokes their back until they’re simply babbling happily. and you’re not up yet, but the sun is starting to shine through the sheer curtains, hitting your resting face in the most beautiful way. he makes his way to the bed, baby in hand, and slides back in next to you. “a couple more minutes won’t hurt, right, baby?” he whispers to your baby. “don’t wanna wake her up.” and with the baby on his chest, and his hand in your hair, tetsu falls asleep again. he’s always wondered how he’s spent mornings without you two, but these ones seem a lot warmer and brighter.

TETSU, MY LOVE, MY PARTNER IN CRIME. We haven’t talked as much as we used to (every single day!) lately, but I love you not even a drop less, I have told you so many things and you have told me just as many, we’ve bonded in a symphony of laughs, tears and gossip. We met through a group chat on KIK and it was the funniest thing in the world, (remember all those ‘Ir*nians’ lMFAO) I still remember the amount of squealing we would do over all our anime boys and do our best to capture their animated sex appeal on paper kdkejdk and all the snippets of writings we would share OH MY GOD. You were there to witness my transition from anime to kpop and you, although having long disappeared from the kpop scene, still sat through the picture spams and endless screeching I would unleash on you out of nowhere.

Not to mention, all the bitching about art and the rants we held about everything wrong with the subject were akin to a mental and emotional stress reliever, and I can’t thank you enough for that. I would always turn to you whenever I was upset or unsure and you would do you best to console me, relate to me or push me. For example without you, this blog would not exist. THIS IS SO LONG DEAR GOD, but I love you so very much I hope your fucking toe is doing better and you know how wonderful a person you are.

omg hold on i have a headcanon for ur lil ask game <3 kuroo and i are both the nosiest people ever and u can routinely find us pressing our ears to the walls of our apartment to see what the neighbors are up to

“i’m telling you hannah, i’m right,” tetsu leans over again to put his ear against the wall, “they definitely have a baby, too. we should go meet them.” you can’t stop the sigh that leaves your mouth. tetsuro has been adamant about your baby being the social butterfly of the apartment complex, and ever since he heard crying from the neighbor’s place, he hasn’t stopped bugging you about setting up a play date. “han, please, our baby can be popular and have play dates. it’ll be so fun,” he playfully nudges you. “okay, but you’re gonna go over and say hi, not me.” with that, he picks up your baby from their place in the blankets and grabs your hand. “come on my lovely wife, we’re off to go get our baby some friends.” his smile doesn’t leave his face as he tells the family next door about you, your baby’s first word (which was “dada” — tetsu never fails to mention it), and how excited he is to finally be a dad.
