Made the decision of having one of Pico's lil opossum siblings get mutated from the oozesquitoes just like he did ( this fam just can't resist a lil bug snack I swear xD). Todd would absolutely adore her

Her favourite of the turtle fam would be Mikey much to Pico's dismay(he's not gonna stop her from playing with him tho), she thinks he's really fun and playful and have in common of being the younger baby siblings. She even gets a smiley patch from him :3

She's not able to speak regularly yet so Pico'd have to translate what she's saying to others, which would make for some funny moments cuz kids have no filter when it comes to some of the stuff they say

#kingdom hearts 0.2 birth by sleep a fragmentary passage #kh0.2 #depths of darkness #realm of darkness #my gif #they did a good job making the realm of darkness look distinct from the realm of light #because this place really does feel like nowhere we've ever been before #the rocky pathways with no sign of organic life make me feel like i'm on the moon or an alien planet #it's interesting how fallen worlds feel like they're all stitched together between areas like this #aqua can simply walk from place to place without needing a ship or keyblade glider to fly her to a new world #though who's to say how long it takes her to do all of that #as if the realm of darkness is one big ever growing expanse of land without any known boundaries between worlds #we know that all worlds used to be connected in the realm of light long ago and i'm guessing that's the case in the realm of darkness #it's never been split or fractured by keyblade wielders so it still follows its own rules and laws of nature #that'd be pretty interesting #we see this area start as a rocky wasteland that transitions into flat sandy terrain from the destiny islands #but you have to walk through a huge blinding light to get there first which is really unusual #it makes me think of how terra and aqua were guided to destiny islands by a bright light #and how destiny islands appears as a ball of light on the world select menu in bbs #but why portray it that way? we've been shown before what the world of destiny islands looks like from afar with the CoM world cards #and it's not like they even needed to include it on the world select screen in bbs because it's not a world you can even visit on your own #i don't know what it's all supposed to mean yet but #i believe the islands are more significant than we know at this time and this game continues to raise a lot of questions #it's certainly called 'destiny' islands for a reason

leg theory is the brainchild of the excellent and esteemed @catilinas and in short it is A Collection of Thoughts regarding Seafaring, Identity, Curses and Rituals, Sacrifice, and a Significant Leg Injury or Incident!

notable incidences of leg theory include: odysseus when scar on leg, john franklin's / thomas blanky's / ???'s legs in the terror, john silver's leg in treasure island & black sails, a good 45% of what's going on in moby dick, and that time my dad fell through a hatch on a sailboat and fractured his tibia in a way that was quite interesting for his character development.

I just looked for cross stitch patterns on etsy.

Saw a lot of flowers, butterflies, cats, you know what you'd expect. Keep scrolling. Nothing spectacular.

Then there he is. His white har, red eyes, flowing shirt.

Astarion.

As a cross stitch pattern. In all his detailed, obviously screenshotted (and thrown into a pattern program/ app) glory.

If I had the colours and skills I would have gotten that pattern. But alas this is my very first cross stitch so I went with a kitty next to some circular flowers

One of the most fun parts of learning about the presidents is getting those little details about what they were like as a person. Habits or interests or hobbies--things that make them a real person instead of just another picture of a bearded guy from the 1800s.

For a few examples:

Abraham Lincoln: Told jokes constantly. And was really good at it.

Ulysses S. Grant: Was amazing at handling horses.

James Garfield: Constantly went to the Library of Congress and always kept up on the latest novels. Had a house stuffed full of books. Often read classics aloud to his kids.

Chester Arthur: Had nocturnal habits and liked taking late night walks

Grover Cleveland: Did really good impressions of people

Benjamin Harrison: Dogs loved him and would sometimes follow him in to his law office.

It's just nice to remember that they were people, you know?

if i finish writing my fic about chilchuck teaching marcille to knit it'll be over for you guys

#pickle pontificates #think about it. i found another extra that references magic warmups btw #that one had hair braiding meditation and hand gestures #but think about it. are knitting/crochet/various other needle arts not very repetitive meditative things???#wouldn't knitting be a great method of magic warmups in place of hair braiding???#marcille uses her hair for magic a couple times and it could be that it has inherently magical properties #but my theory is that hers is imbued with magic because she uses it for warmups all the time #so then it could follow that the resulting knitted items would be imbued with magical properties... dungeon rabbit resistant scarf anyone?#or a fireproof sweater?#why is chilchuck my chosen victim for the person to teach her? well. on my conspiracy wall over here you can see that chilchuck frequently #sits down to sew his clothes/equipment back together throughout canon. i think it's safe to say that he's canonically good at sewing #the only other characters who we see demonstrate similar abilities are mrs. tansu who is a beast at knitting and an icon #and falin. who carries sewing supplies in her equipment (smart) but has frankly atrocious stitching #as can be seen in the comic where she and laios offer to help put marcille's name on her stuff and it's illegible #mrs. tansu really has no relation to marcille #and although falin's bad sewing may have been due to her eyesight (which would no longer affect that) she is canonically also a bad teacher #i think she would try enthusiastically but i do not see it working out #so chilchuck it is.#a fic based around these concepts allows me to further these agendas:#marcille recovering from dungeon lord shenanigans with the help of her friends agenda #chilchuck engaging in reluctant dadly activities agenda #needle arts chilchuck agenda #and... the special bonus i would like to get to... chilchuck reuniting with his wife agenda #and wingman marcille agenda #AND contributing to the dunmeshi platonic fic agenda??? so many wins #there.#now all i gotta do is finish writing it. which is an issue because i have two school assignments due yesterday

PLEASE HELP NE TROUBLESHOOT MY KNITTING

It's a ribbed scarf of 6 knit, 2 purl.

I have tried unraveling the affected stitch and laddered up, but it still looks like I've lost rows in that one stitch making a big hole.
