hi! i just wanted to let u know that i love ur art and a lot of ur comics are very impactful to me :] recently in a ceramics project for school i was inspired by the school comic u made. the imagery of "i love you" on the palm was very meaningful to me so i added it to the palm of this hand sculpture, and cuz im a sentimental sap i had my friends doodle on it in sharpie. i thought u would like to see it since its cool when ur art inspires other people to make art, right?

the title is "Take My Hand"

(also when i submitted this piece for class i linked to ur comic (credit to where my ideas came from) but im also hoping my teacher reads more of ur work since i like it so much)

This is the next instalment of the weekly-ish Homestuck Music Tournament Propaganda Drive. Please, using an ask or by replying to or reblogging the correct post, send in propaganda for tracks you like! Especially tracks you think are not so popular: people need to know what's good about your favourites, or they won't vote for them!

Each propaganda request will be focussed on a different album, although you can submit propaganda for any track in the Official Discography at any time, whether or not I've made a post for it yet.

This week, it's Midnight Crew: Drawing Dead. Interposed between Homestuck Vol. 3 and 4, this was the very first "fake band" album in the discography, featuring experimental jazz-ish tracks by various Homestuck music artists and released on February 4th 2010. While most of these tracks don't appear in Homestuck proper, you may recognise a few of their tunes, especially Liquid Negrocity, Toby Fox's first Homestuck track, which evolved into Black in the next album, and Three in the Morning, which in my personal opinion has some of the best remixes in the Discography.

Here is a link to all 19 of the posts for this album's tracks, including Nightlife (Extended), since it was released on both this album and Vol. 2; so far, only 2 of them have any propaganda, so please submit!

I think SQQ came out handsome enough to put him in my special gallery)#Showing up to submit this less than 3 days before the DTIYS ends is filling me with a bit of anxiety but it is done!#Initially I was going to do a descending level of realism/detail but noses make me nervous still. One day I'll get there.#The irony is that I was planning on drawing something to celebrate tempo finishing season 1 of their series only to find this DTIYS!#*and* it was their birthday recently. I am compelled to lift them into the air and shout their praises.#What a genuinely kind person with an art style I want to bite into like a crunchy apple!!! The *range* is incredible!#Also their xie lian is probably one of my favourite interpretations. So done with everything but not misanthropic.#Remembers everything and lets other's spin in circles with their lies for the sheer chaos of it all. Teases relentlessly. Deeply sad.#Give it a read! They are planning on continuing on so now is a great time to catch up!#Thanks for hosting this fun art challenge Tempo! Thanks so much for asking first of all. I’ve been thinking about this a whole lot (even before I drew the first plushie here) and I think I’ve finally decided that at least for now, I won’t be taking submissions for plushie ratings. Without getting too serious, the main reason is that I’m afraid that it will stop feeling as fun as it does now. I also really enjoy how happy people seem to be when they see a surprise rating that they weren’t expecting, which would happen much less often if I was spending time drawing submissions, too. I really hope that everyone understands

#I love seeing all your plushies regardless and you’re always free to show me them through asks or dms #I wasn’t able to draw for a few years without it feeling very stressful and I think the anxiety of drawing for others made it much worse #im sort of taking baby steps while I get used to drawing again and this blog has been a huge help #everyone ive interacted with so far has been very kind and I have almost 100 followers already! which is super cool #if you’ve already submitted a plushie or were planning to im very sorry.
