Today I'm another year older, and another year (probably) wiser! Yippeeee :D!!

I've been on Tumblr for a good few years now and the idea of gaining such a following from my little one-shots wasn't even in the cards. If I could tell my younger self (who was writing little stories on Wattpad for fun) about this, she'd probably lose her mind lmao. The years of posting have helped improve my writing ability and my confidence as well, allowing me to strive for bigger projects in my life! I've been able to write full novels and I'm working on a passion project I'm hoping to develop more during my upcoming tertiary studies ^^

A little note... (2/27/24)

Hi guys! I know it's been quite awhile... (maybe about 3 years since i lasted posted something here?) I'm not entirely sure how many of my followers are going to see this (i have no idea if tumblr is a dead platform or not lol), but as you can tell, i completely quit posting my art here... well, MHA overall. I lost interest in the fandom quite a long time ago and even stopped keeping up with it as a whole... Nothing personal, but my interests just shifted and changed. But, I feel like i owed you guys some type of explanation or a 'goodbye'. I'm so, so sorry that it took this long... Basically, I just wanna say that thank you guys for all the fun years on tumblr, and all the mutuals and followers I gained. I will always reminiscence about the good times being on this platform haha. I am going to post all of my MHA art here that I haven't posted very soon! I'm going to keep my tumblr open, so my art remains here :) My instagram is deactivated, and my twitter no longer has any of my old MHA art on it. Since I won't be replying to my inboxes anymore, any of my MHA art is free to be used or reposted (with credit of course). No need to ask me personally anymore. Occasionally, I'll look up the dubs to my comics on youtube and edits you guys make with my art. It makes me feel so special <3

I've tried to make it easier on you guys to find my art on this account. A lot of my reposts have been deleted, so if you scroll down, a majority of it should be together. But, to find ALL of my art, it's tagged under #myart on my profile ! <3

the way Dana and the crew had less than an hour to end the show and they managed to give everyone a happy and beautiful ending, while also showing that not every villain can be redeemed (belos), but there are ones who just need a little bit of love (collector)

they also managed to put so much LGBTQIA+ rep in (raeda and lumity lovers and aladarius truthers are all screaming) , which im so happy about. Dana really said "what are you gonna do, cancel it?" and i loved it.

im sad it had to end so early, but they managed to end it in a super great manner. you can really see the amount of work that was put not only into watching and dreaming, but in the whole show.

did anyone else start reading the raven cycle when they were twelve and it was just the raven boys and then go through their entire teenage years marking time by the release of each new book, constantly online talking about blue, gansey, adam, ronan, noah, glendower, and space-time fuckery, drawing art here and writing stories and making theories here and making friends here, then getting the dreamer trilogy in their early twenties as their own world starts to shift dramatically in time with the characters, only to get to the final epilogue and start sobbing here, at this line?

because yes being a teenager sucked and this book series made it better. it made it so very much better. and we will all always love, love this group of friends because we feel like we are a part of it, but them growing up and recognizing how something more both gives and takes is so important to me. they're all moving on to relatively normal adult lives and somehow that means i can, too.

ofmd means more to me than i could ever describe. it was the first show i watched with such positive queer representation, and i watched it in a time where i really needed that. the cast is rich and diverse, the representation is wonderful, and the only way i could sum it up in just a few words is queer joy.

and i am so, so sad that it was cut short.

i'm sitting here, writing this in a state of shock, because i somehow didn't even consider the possibility that anything so devastating could possibly happen.

over the summer, i was at a camp in maine for six weeks, and my sister sent me a shitty black-and-white photo of ed and stede. with no access to a phone, that picture was all i had of them. i hung it on my bunk, and it made me smile every day.

these characters, this show, and the people who made it mean so much to me, and so much to a lot of the people i know. it's not only a beautiful story about the queer community, it's also a wonderful narrative about mental health and healing. i am so glad this show exists, and even though it was cut short, the story it told was something really important and beautiful. i am forever grateful to David Jenkins and Taika Waititi for creating it.

Its sad to know that fandomizer-25 is gone

Hey, Anon,

I just found out about Octi's disappearance, and it is so sad indeed! I didn't know she's gone until I checked out her blog :( I haven't been active here for a long time due to health issues and too many responsibilities, and coming back to this was pretty sad to be honest!

I wish I could've done anything to make her stay, but I guess it's too late. I do understand her decision though. Unfortunately, only few people stay in fandoms forever. Too many of them chose to leave one day, and so did Octi.

My heart is heavy but full at the same time! Full of wonderful memories of her art and our interactions, they always made me smile - even on days that weren't that happy.

I feel like we're not only losing a great artist and talented writer, but also a loyal supporter and an amazing friend.

I don't know if you'll ever read this, Octi, but I will miss you a lot, and Tumblr won't be the same without you...

Maybe you'll come back someday and if you do, we'll be here for you. And if you don't, I hope you know how much you mean(t) to some people round here - including me!

It feels like such an unpopular opinion these days but I'd much rather a story take a big swing and miss than just be a tepid, lightly-tread path. I'd much rather writers take big risks, play with expectations, subvert tropes and ultimately maybe fail a little bit than have this constant stream of content that can be summed up in trite soundbites or carved up into 30 second clips.
