One thing I don't like about The Last Olympian: all the references to New York. I have never been to New York City. I don't know the streets and the tunnels. I barely remember that New York is an island sometimes! So it's rather hard to keep up with the book constantly name dropping new york locations. In some ways, I'm glad some copies (or is it all copies?) of the book come with a small map. Because I legitimately barely remember New York is an island most of the time. I just assume it's some big city right on the mainland. Idk.

It's hard for me to grasp that this was Kouta' and Shunya's debut as leading* actors, they truly embodied these characters, perfectly cast really. Those who read the books know how faithful they were to the source material ー the only part left out was the more intimate scene between them in the bedroom, even in +18 scenario you can still see their characteristics in display in a very playful manner, the infamous 'cramp' line from their sex scene was adapted lol

I not even bothered by the fact it was short, they adapted everything from the books, better be short and acertive than lose track of what you're doing. Now... let's get ready for Love Is Better The Second Time Around!
