Oh man, please don't worry about that for a second -- generally speaking, if I'm not okay with my personal posts being shared, I just turn off reblogs!

I won't speak for others, obviously, but at least for me, people sharing their similar positions, if it's to show solidarity and sympathy, is totally okay and not at all boundary-crossing. I appreciate the concern so much because, let's be real, plenty of people on tumblr wouldn't think twice before pulling a "ahem some of us are actually struggling" oppression Olympic bullshit.

But solidarity in these poverty trenches is always welcome, my friend!!!

And seriously, thank you, it means a LOT that you like my photography!! If you ever get one, I would love for you to tag me in a pic of where you put it!! I had written another post to bookend this whole situation but since she dm'ed me last night, I'll instead let my response to her message speak for itself.

She can share her message to me if she wants to, but I won't be posting here it out of respect for her privacy.

I did not attack you in that comment. I politely addressed you and pointed out the issue. You may have been seeing red from previous comments but the one from me should not have garnered that kind of response from you. Friendship goes both ways — if my comment felt off, you could have also dm'ed me to address it but the way that you replied to that anon thinking that it was me tells me all I need to know about how much our friendship meant to you. Answering this publicly because I want to remind folks to keep an eye out for things like this. This has all of the indicators of a scam, starting with the fact that you don't want me to reply publicly or you'll be found out.

Folks, if you're going to try to scam people out of their money, please be smarter than this. We've got the sob story of the sick cat, and the very polite ask, but literally any further investigation shows multiple suspicious markers.

I don't know you. You have never interacted with my posts before this point. You don't follow me. The phrasing of the ask is awkward and has poor grammar that reads as a bot rather than English as a second language or something. And, most importantly, the oldest reblog on your blog is 11 hours old.

Come on, man. You've got enough reblogs to look decent at a quick glance, the phrasing of the ask feels real enough on first reading, and you've at least got a profile pic and bio and reasonable url, but this is so obviously fake. I'm not going to reverse image search the cat pictures or look into the link but I don't think they'll line up with your story on scrutiny either.

Friends, don't give these people (if this is a person and not a bot like they don't want you to think they are) money unless you already know them, please. Any future asks like this that I receive will result in people being blocked and reported and their asks deleted. I don't appreciate people trying to manipulate my empathy for personal gain.

Different Love Languages

Summary: Hufflepuff is the type of person to express her love verbally but Slytherin is different; he hardly says “I love you” and Hufflepuff worries that maybe it’s because he doesn’t love her as much as she loves him. Our darling puff will realize that this is simply not the case. People just have different love languages. 

Hufflepuff loved Slytherin. She really did. In fact, she reminded him frequently. 

“I love you,” she chortled during breakfast when Slytherin had cast a spell to make the bacon strips float around in a dancing manner so that she would cheer up after reading depressing news from the Daily Prophet. Another time, she cooed the term of endearment as he held her tightly in his arms, swaying to the sound of music in the background. 

The thing was that Slytherin rarely said “I love you” in the entirety of their relationship. Instead of saying it back to her, he often replied by cupping her cheeks tenderly and leaning in for another kiss. Other times, he responded with a loving smile, his eyes glowing with warmth and infatuation.

It’s not that Hufflepuff thought Slytherin didn’t love her. She could definitely see it in the way that he looked at her, in those stolen glances when he thought she wasn’t looking. She could feel it when he held her close at night, his arms wrapped protectively around her. 

However, a part of her- the small shadow of doubt within her heart that told her that Slytherin didn’t care for her as much as she did for him- just wished for some kind of affirmation, a clear signal that said, “I love you.” 

One day, Hufflepuff and Slytherin sat side by side in Potions class, listening to Professor Slughorn drone on and on about Felix Felicis. She was absentmindedly staring at the board when Slytherin slid his notes in front of her so that she could see the doodle he drew on the side of his paper.

Hufflepuff bit her lip to suppress a laugh and squeezed his hand 3 times.  

Unfamiliar with the motion, Slytherin asked what the squeezes meant.

“It means I love you,” she whispered. Her voice was soft so that Professor Slughorn didn’t overhear their conversation.  

Nevertheless, Slytherin heard every word. A smile tugged at his lips and he immediately squeezed it back. He didn’t just stop there; he repeated the gesture about 6 times- and Potions class hadn’t even ended yet. 

From that day forward, Slytherin constantly told her I love you. Sometimes he squeezed her hand randomly- before he left for Quidditch practice, during breakfast when she passed him a plate of toast, and after he walked her back to the dormitory. 

Aside from that, he would occasionally tap out the gesture with his finger. 

Tap tap tap. 

Hufflepuff looked up from her book and made eye contact with Slytherin from across the room. She knew what it meant. She always did. 

Slytherin said I love you all the time now, more often than Hufflepuff’s verbal “I love you”. 

She realized that he had a different love language from her, and that was ok. It was the love itself that mattered. 

On their wedding day, as the officiant performed the ceremony, Hufflepuff looked up at Slytherin with adoration. “I love you,” she whispered. 

He smiled warmly at her and squeezed her hand four times. 

I love you too.

You might be wondering why i wrote this one-shot. There was no special occasion this time, I just got a bonk of inspiration one day. also i felt bad for reblogging my ice skating oneshot so much (i did it to respond to other peoples reblogs) and i sent an ask to my favorite fanfic writer, asking her about what happens if i reblog my own work and if it pushes my fanfic up the algorithm, and she answered my question but also said that she usually deletes her reblogs bc her followers would probably get annoyed if they kept seeing the same work over and over again. i felt bad bc i had just done that, and i didnt want yall to constantly see the same fanfic all the time, so i wanted to give u something new. also i was thinking back on that person who said that my writing was sporadic (they werent trying to be mean). Sporadic basically means spaced out and occuring at different intervals. i felt bad bc my writing is definitely spread out by one month for some reason. im not sure what this means for next month bc i never write 2 fanfics in one month. does this mean that i wont write a fanfic for november? hopefully not. ok that sounds sad, im sure it doesnt but who knows bc the college process thingies is killing me 

I wrote out the general details of the story at 1 am one night when i was trying to sleep lmaoao heres a screenshot: 

This is basically how I write for most of my fanfics at first, it consists of the general info along with some specific details.

At first, the one-shot was gonna be a drabble (aka a story that’s only 100 words long) but when I finished writing it, I went to wordcounter to check the number of words and it was 500! i was like oop ok im just gonna call it a oneshot then. i wrote part of the story on sunday morning and then i went to exercise in the park with my sister. afterwards, i wanted to keep working on it but then i became swamped with college stuff so i stopped. i started writing again today (its monday, but im posting it on tuesday, aka today for you- or maybe not if ur not reading this on the day that i posted it) and i surprisingly finished- but that was probably a bad idea to be writing the oneshot during this week because i have a lot of exams, but lets look at the bright side, i finished the story!

I didn’t think of the idea completely on my own. I actually read the reddit story (found it in a thread on insta) a few years ago, and I don’t know why but I was thinking about it that night and I decided to make a one-shot out of it! Isn’t it such a sweet story (the actual story, not this)?? It would be kinda nice if I reached out to the person and said, hey i wrote a story based on you and ur husband!

MOVING LUCIFER TO MY MULTIMUSE BLOG ( @pcrdiseseekers​ )

after thinking about it as well as taking the poll’s results to consideration, i feel it is the best course of action to moving LUCIFER to my multimuse blog. this is a response to the lack of motivation and time i have to maintaining two blogs at the same time. before you assume that i have no care about luci, that is not the case, tbh LUCIFER’S “origins” first came from an obey me multimuse blog ( @lamentdom​ ) where i originally created when playing obey me. the reasons i moved luci to his own blog were from the heavy requests of wanting to interact with him among my other obey me muses. obviously that blog has been moved to my current multifandom blog but i am not reverting back for this reason.

lack of motivation comes from the strain of having to monitor two blogs at the same time, also scrolling the dash for two blogs (yes i actually scroll on both dashes and it tends to get a lot just to see if i miss any replies for either blogs cuz tumblr is a “functioning site”). whenever having to do this, also staring at both drafts...i realize that i can better manage it if i have everything on a single blog and that includes asks. i turned ASKS off cuz i kept being sent too many on this blog and even when turning it on...i still get more after replying to one. i am not angered by it but with how draining my job can be and university life, it does get overwhelming that i don’t want to do them. this is basically a result of having two blogs where that mindset can arise and you simply want to go to your main blog where you can handle it.

lack of time comes from you guessed it: university and work. my work days are fridays, saturdays, and sundays from 11am-7pm. in that small time, i’m either playing genshin or other videogames on my switch or possibly working on drafts/asks. there are moments where i just want to chill with my friends on discord and just talk there while scrolling on the dash. then mondays-thursdays are the days i have to work on university assignments and believe me...i get a lot of reading demanded that it takes more time than the actual assignments. only midterms and essays tend to be the most time consuming though i try to refrain from doing homework all day by treating the days i get out of work as the hours of my free time. all i can do throughout the day of my university assignment days are just look through the dash and see what others are up to to take mini breaks.

as stated, it’s quite a lot to explain why i’m doing this before receiving any judgment. i do love LUCIFER and i can understand the ones who voted to keep luci on his own blog. he has been the demon brother i love to death, the one i worked hard to develop. you don’t have to worry because i won’t throw away that development. the plan is just to move him on my multimuse blog but HE WILL STILL RETAIN THE DEVELOPMENT/INTERACTIONS/SHIPS HE CURRENTLY HAS UNLESS YOU DECIDE TO RESTART.

anyways this is for my own good and the reasons why i can only maintain a single blog for now. i won’t be deleting this blog but simply put on my pinned post a link to this post. i may reblog this specific post just to give a friendly reminder where LUCIFER is going to be located. thank you for understanding and i hope to see you all on my multimuse! @pcrdiseseekers​
