Does anybody else think that they’re leaning into the domesticity of KinnPorsche’s relationship just a little bit too much? I love them and they’re adorable together in any capacity, but we’ve seen cute domestic KP pretty consistently since Ep8. I know shit is about to hit the fan, but I wanted Ep12 to have a longer stretch of tension between them. 

Thing is, Kinn and Porsche's main issue is learning to trust and rely on each other. That's something that cannot be built fast or easily, especially when you have trauma and baggage surrounding your trust issues.

If they keep adding more and more conflicts in which it shows that Kinn and Porsche can't trust or rely on each other, it'll feel very, very rushed when they get together at the end, (because of course they do).

We only have 2 more episodes left, they need to establish that this couple is a steady fortress not something made of sand that'll easily crumble at the first thing that becomes difficult between them. I think they're doing a great job portraying that they won't break that easily even if it means we don't get angst from them.

Their relationship is going to be tested on how strong it is these next 2 episodes with the whole family drama and we all know Kinn and Porsche are endgame, but it needs to feel like its earned.

Even when Porsche got angry with Kinn this episode 12, it still showed trust/growth because he confronted him and told him off, and let Kinn know what he felt unlike in episode 5 after the whole drugging incident where he just retreated and dealt with things alone. That's progress being made in their relationship.

You can't just throw two people who have been shown consistently to not trust each other or break up or retreat alone after every minor or difficult conflict/situation they experience together and then say "And they lived happily ever after" simply because the season/show is ending.

I’d like to amend my original critique a bit. I do completely agree with you that for Kinn and Porsche’s ending together to feel satisfying and earned, they need to have established a well-formed, long-standing relationship that has already withstood its fair share of tests. You put it really nicely in your last paragraph--not to once again throw shade at TharnType, but it felt like TT did exactly what you’re describing here: the two leads had anything but a stable relationship, and yet I’m supposed to believe that they were together for seven years by S2? I’m really glad that KP is avoiding that route by building a strong foundation. 

Don’t get me wrong--I love the cute, fluffy stuff. I like how close they’ve gotten. I was eating that shit up back in Ep8. I guess I just feel like they could’ve trimmed it up to make way for other conflicts--not necessarily related to trust, but to the mafia itself.

The show set up this sort of moral questionability aspect when Porsche first became a bodyguard, but it’s been kind of left to the wayside since the early days. I know this is because we’ve seen that Kinn doesn’t enjoy the kind of things he has to do for his job, but I still want to see those choices coming back up again. Perhaps they’ve opted to stay away from the mafia stuff so much because a) Porsche is no longer Kinn’s bodyguard and b) VegasPete have been given a lot of the heavy content right now (especially where morality is concerned), so they want to provide some balance. 

All in all, I’m just really interested to know how KP’s relationship reacts to more disruptions by the mafia lifestyle itself. The mafia is what makes this show different from other BLs, so I’d like to see them lean into that a bit more. But when if there’s a second season, I could definitely see them exploring other mafia-related issues in more detail.

Lemme rant about Don’t say no and a stupid comment I read somewhere.

First you need to know that I love the serie, I adore Leo, I’m starting to like Fiat (he’s kinda cute) and even Leon and Pob are adorbs, but…

BUT!

I saw this post that said how bad it was that you could see the mic in a scene (and on this they were kinda right I guess, it also happened in tharntype, so double bad for production) but then they went on saying the shirt Fiat was wearing in the emotional scene ruined the mood or something. (the “eat me” shirt).

NOW…

Imagine you are Fiat. You are destroyed by guilt and so sad you just cry and cry…

imagine to feel that way and suddenly having this thought: <<oh no! This “eat me” shirt I’ve been wearing all day doesn’t fit my mood! Lemme change!>>

Tell me if you think it makes sense, because if it does I’m out of here.

But there’s more!

While reading that thing I just told you, I kept thinking about Ep8 and the mess it was.

I mean, the first scene with Pob in ep8 was dramatic, with him getting home and finding poor kitty cat laying on the floor and calling Leon for help. And it is totally okay. But in the next scene he is at school with Leon and Nam playing boyfriends. I think someone built the episode wrong. And this is what should be criticized, not the stupid shirt!!

All this to say

Check your priorities before you feel disappointed by a frigging EAT ME shirt!

Am I the only one who got some weird pedophile icky vibes from P'San? The way he talked about liking Tharn's innocence when they met and boning him when he was 14, I couldn't not see almost a parallel with Type and Tharn's past. Maybe I'm reading too much into it and San is just there for the standard jealous trope, but Tharn did say in ep4 his first time wasn't a good experience. Anyone else?

I got those vibes too but we have to think of the guy as 3 years older than Tharn who just turned 19. I mean 14 versus 16-17 is still a stretch. It was very creepy the way he talked though. I wonder if there was even consent given on Tharn’s part?

Waah,favorite anime! I love almost everythig haha, but here are some of animes that are dear to my heart  (not in a specific order):

- Gunslinger girl

So melancholic and tragic work.This story will not leave you indifferent and will leave a deep mark on the soul that will not pass over the years.

- Onihei This is one of my favorite anime. Edo era.Samurai era. Different stories in every episode,like notes from daily of one person from this era, but every episode is full of real emotions,its own morality. Daily life, detective component, social drama, the concept of honor and duty, surrender, justice and simple human kindness. We are all beautiful beings born out of a dream. In this cycle of life. Onihei is truly masterpiece.

-Ikoku Meiro no Croisee 

Story about little Japanese girl in France,19th century.There are definitely special charm and atmosphere. Very-very kind and sad work. Absolutely amazing music. My heart still hurts because mangaka didn’t finish this work.

- Gundam:Tekketsu no Orphans A lot of tears and struggles, your heart will broke into million pieces. But it's worth it. ( I still can't with story of Shino and Yamagi).

- Gintama This is unique thing.Jokes,laugh, tears,happiness,sadness,SOUL. Must watch.

-Acca 13-ku Kansatsu-ka Unique and original anime of its kind. An excellent combination of style, good music, coziness, unusual characters and political intrigue.

-One Piece

There was never a day that I regretted wathing this anime,and it will never come. Huge universe,exciting adventure,hert-throbbing stories.

- Hellsing OVA TV series is classic, but original plot in OVAs is everythyng.

- Kino no tabi(2017) Incredible atmosphere of travels, really cool main heroine, nice picture and music. Every country that our heroine is visiting maintains its own foundations, but if look a little deeper... it all applies to our life. Every city reflects humans sides in society. We are shown a different temperament of people, actions and their consequences, the important role ,I suppose, was played by the names at the end of each city or episode, it can be said as a highlight on the cake that “sums up” this part. This anime is deeper that you might think. I really want to watch original ver, but don’t have time for now..

-Natsume Yuujinchou

Soft,sad,warm,kind. My dear classic. OSTs from Natsume are one of my favourite.. They always take me to other dimenisions.

- Genroku Rakigo Shinjuu

Drama of life of people. Strong work.

- Dantalian no Shoka

Entourage, this era/century/, little bit of mystic, magical music, unobtrusive detective. Love it. So pity that there is no continuation.

- Grisaia no Kajitsu (and other seasons/ovas)

After 10-12 episodes I was empty. This is not just another harem.
