For those who follow my To Breathe Again Revalink WIP, I think I’m going to start thoroughly editing the chapters. Expect to see some changes with that soon.
That’s normally not something I do. It’s a bad way to get stuck in a never-ending cycle where you’re always editing and never progressing. With that fic, though, even at the time I was aware that I was heavily rushing the beginning, leaving some pretty shitty writing behind, because I had major plot portions, including an end scene, written, and I was so distracted by those that I was lazy with the beginning of the fic.
There’s something eternally frustrating about having many scenes clear in your mind and having minimal inspiration for the rest of it. At least I’m overall happy with the rest of my WIPs.
Here are my Dungeon meshi stickers! I basically thought "hey. lots of people will have cute food themed stickers. And that good and well, but I want that serious stuff too!" So I decided to make a series for the main gang based on sense of self instead!
stuck between "psychological horror statement" and "objectively the funniest thing you could say to your real flesh and blood dad" in the father's day card aisle
okay okay I know the point of this is “White people need to put as much effort into learning how to pronounce Black people’s names as they do foreign European names” and 100% I totally agree, absolutely good point
but this tweet becomes hilarious in the context of this clip:
anyways, absolutely put effort into learning how people pronounce their names. just don’t feel bad if it takes you some time to get it right 😅
(also in case you didn’t watch the video it’s “N-SHOO-tee” not “SHOO-tee”)
(EDIT: fellas, it’s really not that deep. Anyone starting beef over this stupid drawing getting blocked, i dont care to argue with people who come and judge me (a stranger) in bad faith. A bit dissapointed that this joke post is what’s getting the most attention but alas that’s the internet for ya i guess.)
The secret Dungeon Meshi sauce that's getting people to eat better is that it's so non-judgmental. Senshi and the rest of the gang never talk about what not to eat besides things that taste bad and literal poison. They don't even talk about "health" that much besides the importance of a balanced diet. It's so much easier to eat well when you think of food simply as something your body needs, and that it's often worth the extra effort to make it taste good, especially when you understand how to connect "things your body needs" with "things that taste good"
