#that’s one lovely thing about being high school sweethearts cause all my friends know my partner and knew them since we got together
Text
I’m always wary of saying my partner and I have good communication because since everyone talks about communication as the most important thing and saving grace of a relationship I’ve kind of mythologised it in my head and been like well, there’s no way we’re that good at this. But then I remember that communication is the process of continually talking about your feelings when you’re hurt or when you need something or when you’re happy, and talking about what your plans are for the future of your relationship and your thoughts on your past together and I’m like. Yeah we do kind of ace it on that

——Congratulations, you’ve nearly escaped hell— not-so-happily entering your final year of university as time stands currently. And y’know what, you think you’ve coasted through most of your college years drama-free. Well, aside from freshman year you suppose, everyone fucks up around that time…
But that’s a tale for another day, right now, you’re finding yourself waltzing into an entirely different plotline— with your head held high as you waltz toward a newfound cafe that you haven’t had the pleasure of finding for the past four years. Up until today, you’ve just barely been stomaching dining hall caffeine. Which, to say the least, isn’t nearly as savory or energizing as coffee from your local cafe.
Four years you’ve been going to this school and yet here you were walking right into an establishment you swear simply spawned out of nowhere because you pass this street all the damn time and you don’t remember this place being here a week ago. Yet, when you enter the cafe and spot a sign that says they’ve been there for the past three years, you begin to realize that maybe you should start going out a bit more…
Nonetheless, you mentally claimed that if the coffee here was bad, you’d walk right out and return to never acknowledging the place. But hey, when you do push past those double doors, fingers wrapped around a warm metal handle, a waft of smoky coffee aromas simmering into your nose, and spot a rather attractive cashier first thing, you’re quick to tell yourself that maybe shitty coffee might be worth a few things.
Especially seeing as six staggering feet of height, fluffy bright white locks of hair, and the most dazzling set of blue eyes take notice of your entering seconds after you’ve stepped inside— how could you not tell yourself that terrible coffee may be worth digesting so long as you get to drink in this tall, fine man whose name you note as Gojo as you near him and read the tag on his apron.
“Suguru, it seems the gods have finally answered my prayers,” Gojo yells back to someone you can’t quite see yet. His eyes were all over you, drinking you in just as you were him. The tall man receives a laugh from somewhere further behind him before he redirects his words to you, “To what do I have the pleasure of serving you today, sweetheart?”
Your lips parted as you approached the counter fully, your eyes lingering on his far longer than they should’ve. “Uh,” And you were making a fool out of yourself already, great, “It’s my first time here, so I’m not too sure…” Okay, that’s a decent enough save considering how your words earn a half smile from the man in front of you who tilts his head and eyes you down.
And fuck if he wasn’t every bit of intimidating looking down at you like that. He places a single hand onto the counter space in front of him, leaning forward just a bit before turning his head back to take a glance at the menu hanging up, as if he didn’t have it memorized already, “Well, for first-timers I usually recommend anything but our coffee.”
You bat your lashes at the man for a moment as he returns his attention to you, “Seriously? That’s the one thing I came in here for…”
“Ah, well,” Gojo clicks his tongue and shrugs a bit, leaning toward you just to whisper, “Y’gotta come here when I’m in the back.”
You lean forward, intrigued by his words, “…Why?”
“Cause’ Suguru doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing,” Gojo chuckles a bit and you reciprocate before pushing your brows together questioningly. “Suguru, my best fr-, my coworker.” He clarifies quickly.
“Ohh,” You nod, “So should I come back another time, or…?”
“Nono, you caught me a few minutes before rush hour,” Gojo says rather cheerfully before he leans away from you and flashes a smile, “I can run back there ‘nd make ya’ somethin’ since we’re not too busy?”
At that, you take a moment to glance around the cafe interior, spotting one, maybe two people sitting on their laptops and languidly sipping or munching away at their breakfast. You’re glad you came in when you did.
Not only did you get the chance to talk to Gojo, who you turn back to seconds later with a nod, but you also got the chance to get not-so-shitty coffee according to the man. “Yeah, actually. That’d be nice,” You hum to him.
Gojo dramatically moves to stretch his arms, clasping his hands together before extending them out with a heavy sigh, as if he were preparing to do such a difficult task. “Alrighty then, is there any specific kinda coffee you’re lookin’ for?”
“Still my first time here, Gojo. So, no…” The way you say his name so suddenly has him wondering if you knew him from somewhere. But, you quickly smile a little and nod your chin to his name tag, to which he looks down and laughs at himself. “Surprise me,” You then say moments later.
“Surprise you?” Gojo echoes.
You shrug sheepishly, “If that’s not too much work for you-“
“No, I don’t mind. I can surprise ya’,” His smile at you deepens and you catch the slightest dip in his cheeks as the most enamoring set of dimples pops out to your gaze. “Buuut, before I do… Do you have any allergies or dislikes I should be wary of?”
You hum, “Uh, no I don’t think so? I’m feeling rather open-minded today so, just bring me something good enough to have me returning for more.”
“Yeah? I mean, I’m sure you’ll come back for somethin’ else aside from jus’ coffee,” Gojo laughs to himself at his own comment and your eyes simply widen, a cute lil’ tilt of your head catching his attention.
You chuckle nervously, “What else would I come back for if not coffee?”
He shrugs before slowly turning away, “Oh, I dunno… Perhaps a certain handsome cashier that’s caught your eye?”
Oh, you see where he’s going with this. It may have been a while but, you know what flirting looks like. “Is this handsome cashier in the room with us, or…?” You tease with a smile on your face, watching the way Gojo freezes and he sends you this look that you have to try your hardest not to laugh at.
He nearly pouts, “W-Well, yeah, obviously. You’re lookin’ at him.”
Your brows lift, “Am I?”
Gojo narrows those pretty blue eyes of his at you, “Do you not find me handsome?”
“Say I didn’t,” You murmur tauntingly, “Wouldn’t you be really embarrassed?”
The corner of his lips twitch before he scoffs playfully, “What are you, some kinda masochist?”
You giggle, “No, but seein’ that pout on your face was kinda cute.”
“Pout?” Gojo gasps dramatically, “Hah, what pout?” He scoffs again before straightening his face and attempting to be serious with you, “I didn’t pout-“
“You totally did,” You cut off, peering right into those mesmerizing eyes of his— damn, it was almost like you couldn’t get yourself to look away.
“I did not,” Gojo corrects your statement, lower lip poking out once more into a pout.
You shrug and finally get yourself to glance off to the side, “It was cute.”
He instantly tilts his head at that, ears perking up, “Y’think I’m cute?”
“I do.” You hum simply with your eyes wandering right back over to his face.
There’s this little moment between the two of you, a spark if you will, where you both just meet one another’s eyes and admire each other. Is this what mutual attraction feels like?
Perhaps if you squinted, you would’ve noticed the faintest shade of pink decorating his cheeks, “I-,” Gojo swallows suddenly, “Why thank you, sweetheart,” He utters suavely, as if to save himself from embarrassment. After which, he clears his throat, “That aside, we’ve got about six minutes before people start rushin’ in here ‘nd it’ll take two for me to prepare that coffee of yours so, do you mind givin’ me a name?”
You blink, “A name…?”
“Your name,” Gojo clarifies.
“Oh! Sorry,” You’re quick to apologize for your moment of daze, giving him your name seconds later to make up for it.
He starts to smile again, “That’s your name?”
“Yes?” You utter almost confusedly. Was there something wrong-
“It’s pretty,” Gojo interrupts your thoughts completely and your eyes go all wide all over again, a small feature in which he finds absolutely adorable.
“T-Thank you,” You stammer out, turning away to now avoid the eye contact you once couldn’t tear yourself away from.
“Uhuh,” His eyes scan you up and down once more before he sighs, “I’ll be back in a sec’, sweets,” Gojo says finally.
God, you think the nickname he threw out has your heart racing because it made your face so utterly hot. Almost as if you don’t hear nicknames like that on a daily basis…
Aside from that, you gave Gojo one last nod before looking back over your shoulder to see if anyone was coming yet. He’d told you that there was only a few minutes until rush hour so you were a bit wary that people would appear out of nowhere in the next-
“So you’re the girl that’s got Satoru all giggly, huh?” A voice purrs from somewhere in front of you.
Quickly, you return your gaze forward and spot a man, equally as tall as Gojo, with long dark hair, slim eyes, and a really pretty face— holy shit, how many hot guys work here??
“Uh,” You’re stuttering again, tipping your head to the side, “…Satoru?” You repeat, confused by the person he’s referring to.
The man chuckles, “Gojo,” He tells you, “Satoru Gojo,” You nod at the clarification and he grins warmly.
“Oh, then yeah I guess so,” You shrug sheepishly before flashing a smile, “So then that means you must be Suguru-“
“Geto,” He’s so quick to correct you that you almost immediately shut up, swallowing down your words as if you’d said something wrong. “Sorry, I assume Satoru told you my first name?”
You steadily nod, avoiding eye contact with him out of embarrassment, “He did…”
“As expected,” Geto hums before letting out a long sigh, “Just call me by me last, I don’t know you too well so I’m sure you understand.”
You hum, “Right, sorry.”
It’s a tad bit awkward for the next few seconds after that mild conversation but when you hear Gojo yelling from somewhere in the back, the awkwardness quickly subsides.
You even spot Gojo popping his head out from around the corner just to speak to his coworker, “Suguru don’t scare her off jus’ cause you have a girlfriend-“
“I don’t have a girlfriend,” Geto interrupts, sharp with his correction as he glances back over his shoulder.
Gojo snorts, “Fine then, girl who’s a friend that you like-“
“I don't-,” A sigh leaves Geto’s lips before he’s moving to pinch the bridge of his nose, groaning afterward, “Just hurry up with the damn coffee before people start comin’ in.”
Your eyes somehow find Gojo’s and you watch him mouth out something to you, “He’s grouchy because his girlfriend’s ignorin’ him-“
“Satoru,” Geto says scoldingly, causing Gojo to flinch dramatically.
Then you see the white-haired man laugh before winking at you and dipping back around the corner. After which, you don’t even realize you’re smiling until you meet Geto’s gaze and feel your expression drop at the glare he’s giving you.
“What?” You murmur warrily, raising a brow at his plain look.
Geto tilts his head and studies your face for a mere moment, “You new around here or somethin’?”
“New to this cafe, yeah,” You explain, “Why?”
He shrugs, “I’ve learned most of our customer’s faces and majority of them live around the area but I’ve never seen you before.”
“I live not too far from campus but I wasn’t aware this cafe was here until today…” You explain steadily, earning somewhat of an intrigued expression from the man.
“Damn, really?”
You nod, “Mhm.”
“So, wait,” Geto scoffs a little at the thought, “Don’t tell me you’ve been stomaching dining hall caffeine all this time.”
You chuckle and glance off to the side, “Well…”
“If you live near campus, how the hell are you just now finding us??” Geto questions, he seems genuinely confused by your cluelessness.
Your shoulders lift into a shrug, “I don’t go out much.”
“Maybe you should,” He tells you.
A thin lipped smile tugs at your lips, “Starting to realize that now, thanks.”
The man opens his mouth to say something but he’s cut off by Gojo returning from the back and placing a hand on his shoulder, to which Geto glances down at.
“Alrighty Suguru, thanks for not scaring the pretty lady away!” Gojo says cheerfully as he pushes past his friend and makes eye contact with you.
Geto’s brows push together, “You’re welcome? I don’t know how I would’ve scared her, I-“
Gojo unintentionally cuts him off with a laugh, “You’ve been kinda grouchy towards women ever since you met-“
“Fuck off,” He grumbles, brushing off Gojo’s hand on his shoulder and turning to make his way to the back once more.
“See what I mean?” Gojo hums to himself.
Then Geto laughs, “You’re not a woman are you?”
“Suguruuu,” Gojo whines, turning his head back to his friend who’s already disappeared from his line of vision. Then, Gojo sighs and looks to you again, “Ah whatever, ignore him, he sucks sometimes.”
You grin, “You guys are best friends, aren’t you?”
The way Gojo tilts his head almost innocently is kinda cute, “How can you tell?”
“Mine acts similarly,” You explain, thinking of your best friend who’s not the nicest person in the world.
“Yeah?” Gojo hums, “An asshole once they get into a relationship?”
“I’m not in a relationship, Satoru!” Geto calls out from the back.
You watch as Gojo rolls his eyes at his friend's refutation of his claims. Looking somewhat off to the side, your thoughts wander more so toward your best friend, “Well, no, he’s kinda just an asshole all around.”
“Really? Why’re you his best friend then?” You’ve always found this question funny considering most people are confused about how you and your best friend are even friends when most times you two don’t get along.
Instead of really answering Gojo’s question, you look up at him and smile, “I could ask you the same thing, no?”
His brows furrow and he scoffs, “What? No, Suguru’s just grouchy today, I promise he’s usually better than that.”
You nod, “I see…”
“Anyway,” Gojo extends his hand out to you, “Here, give this a try,” He offers, handing a decently sized cold drink to you.
You receive the item and look down at it, “You’re not trying to poison me right?”
Gojo laughs, “Aaand why ever would I do that?”
The cup is steadily lifted to your lips as you lift your eyes to him once more, “I dunno, men are weird.”
“That they are,” He chuckles, “But no, that’d be illegal and I have no intentions of harming you.”
Again, you just nod at that and then take that first sip of the surprise drink he’d given you. A strong taste of vanilla and a nearly overwhelming amount of coffee creamer hits your tastebuds. You smile but you’re a bit taken back by how sweet it is. One, it’s way better than any cup of coffee you’ve ever had from the dining hall and two, it’s a lot sweeter than you were expecting.
“Holy fuck, how much sugar did you put in this thing?” You utter in surprise as you move the cup away from your mouth and glance at it as if that’ll give you the answer to your question.
Gojo lets out a laugh, “You said to surprise you.”
“Yeah but this is sweet as hell,” You tell him, your eyes raking over the cup in your hand.
“Sweet drink for a sweet girl, I don’t see a problem,” He responds with a little lean toward you.
“Right and-,” You scoff, eyes narrowing at the very lousy print of your name on the cup, “Who’s…” You almost laugh, “Christ, your handwriting is shit.”
Gojo lets out a huff, “Okay, first off, my handwriting is not that bad. And secondly-”
You’re quick to turn the cup to him and lift it, “Look at it!”
“Oh.” He squints his eyes at it, “Shit, that is kinda bad…” Gojo mumbles with an amused little smile on his face.
“Yeah, I can’t even read this…” You laugh, returning the cup to yourself, “But that’s okay, I appreciate the effort,” His smile grows at your comforting words as you then look up at him once more, “How much?”
“Since my handwriting’s so shit,” He starts, tilting his head at you and shrugging, “Consider it on the house.”
Your eyes seem to light up, “Yeah?”
“Mhm,” Gojo hums.
“Aw, thank you,” Who would you be to ever pass up something free? Especially given by this cheeky cashier before you.
“Anytime-”
Geto’s voice intrudes from the back, “Satoru I thought I told you to change these filters? And why’d you leave such a big mess, holy shit.”
Gojo yells back to his coworker, slightly looking over his shoulder, “The mess isn’t that bad is it?”
You snort, “If it’s anything like your handwriting then uh…”
“Alright,” Gojo’s quick to look at you once more, “You just got a free drink out of me so I don’t wanna hear anything from you.”
“Satoru, these filters aren’t gonna change themselves,” Geto nags further.
You watch as Gojo rolls his eyes and yells back to his friend yet again, “You’re literally back there already, change them yourself.”
“Nope, it’s your turn,” Geto argues.
Gojo frowns, “But-”
“The girl’s not goin’ anywhere anytime soon,” At that, you blink in surprise. How does he know you’re not ready to leave just yet? “Get your ass back here,” Geto orders.
Gojo turns his head and looks at you almost pleadingly.
You giggle, “What? Sounds like you’ve got some filters to change, Gojo…”
“Y’know what,” He scoffs and nods his chin to the cup in your hand, “$5.45.”
Your head cocks back a little and your brows go up, “I’m sorry?”
“The drink,” Gojo hums simply, looking back to make sure Geto wasn’t on his way out to scold him some more just yet, “Since you wanna take his side over mine…”
The way you frown misses Gojo’s eyes up until he turns to look at you one last time, his eyes going wide as you try to defend yourself, “I wasn’t-”
“S’fine, I got it,” An entirely different voice grumbles from your right, causing you to nearly jump out of your skin. So close to you, an arm slips right past your face and you watch as an all too familiar man extends a card out to Gojo.
Your lashes bat a few times as an annoyingly familiar scent of cologne rushes into your nose. You’d literally just escaped said smell a few hours ago after leaving your apartment and yet here it was all over again, directly in your nose and you met the side profile of your best friend, “Choso?” You utter.
Whatever light and fluffy banter that was in the air seconds ago seems to die at the mere presence of Choso standing so closely beside you. Ignoring you, he urges Gojo to take his card and Gojo soon does so with a scoff— he was going to keep flirting and teasing you but here comes this all-too-serious-looking man taking your vacant side as if it were second nature.
The smile Gojo once had on his face simmered down and his expression became a lot more neutral as he quietly moved to charge Choso’s card.
After which, your best friend finally looks down at you, his eyes pointed in a glare that would make anyone feel unloved despite you knowing he feels quite the opposite (to some extent at least), “Don’t you have class in an hour?” Choso asks you in a dull monotone.
Your face scrunches up slightly before you shrug, “I was thirsty…”
Choso stares at you for a long moment, glances at Gojo, then back to you with a scoff, “Yeah, clearly.”
“What’s that supposed to mean-,” You’re cut off by Choso taking his eyes off of you and receiving his card back from Gojo, the two men making eye contact once more and both looking as if the other had done something to offend them. Your best friend openly scoffs in Gojo’s face before pocketing his card and turning away, quickly walking out of the establishment.
Your eyes go wide, “Choso, wait!” You call out as your eyes followed him walking away from you. Only to be ignored again, you let out a huff and start to walk after him but turn back to Gojo one last time, “Sorry about him.”
Gojo’s expression seems to light back up a bit and he shrugs, “You’re fine.”
You nod and start turning away before remembering something and looking at Gojo yet again, slightly pointing at him, “You owe me a free drink by the way,” You remind him playfully.
His face is twisting right back up into that intrigued expression from earlier, “Do I now? And what for?”
“Your shitty handwriting of course,” You hum.
"Hm," He takes a second to think before letting out a slight huff. You then feel and watch the way his eyes glide up and down your body before he responds to you, "Alright."
And with that, both of you smile at one another one last time before you go running off to catch up with Choso. Gojo watches you almost in some kinda trance as you leave, spotting more customers approaching but ignoring them for the most part as his gaze remains glued to you until you’re completely out of his line of vision.
Then, he lets out this breathy little sigh, “Fuck…” Moving to wipe his face off as if that’ll rid himself of whatever the hell he’s feeling after talking to you.
He didn’t even get to ask you for your number like he wanted to…
With perfect timing, “Satoru, the-”
“Filters, yeah yeah, I got it,” Gojo cuts Geto off completely, turning around to see his friend emerging from the back as they both swap places due to the approaching rush hour.
· ───────── · ꨄ · ───────── ·
Outside, you were met with a slap of heat as soon as you exited the cafe, your eyes searching the area for Choso. A slight breeze of refreshing wind brushes over your skin as you finally spot the man having not gotten too far away.
Barely managing to catch up to him, you nudge Choso on his arm as soon as you meet his side, “Why’d you pay for my drink? I could’ve done that myself.”
Just as he did earlier inside the cafe, he acts as though you’re not even there, keeping his gaze forward and pretending he didn’t hear a single thing you just said.
“Choso? Hello??” You huff out, nudging him on his arm again.
His lip twitches into a scowl and he just barely side-eyes you, “What?”
You ignore all of his attitude, as you typically do, “Why’d you pay?”
“You’re a walking charity case,” Choso hums all too casually.
Your head goes back and you scoff, “I-, what? No, I’m not!” Then the back of your hand is landing on his arm as you hit him and he almost smiles.
Finding amusement in your reaction, he shrugs, “Yeah you are,” And before you can even try to get a response out, the cup of coffee in your hand is stripped from your grasp faster than you could blink. Choso removes the top and takes a sip, “Ew, you like this shit?” He scowls, placing the top right back on and handing you your drink back.
You blink, struggling to process a logical reasoning behind his action, “First off, no one told your ass to take a sip. And secondly-”
“I wanted to know what you got,” Choso cuts off, glancing at you to watch how quickly you get annoyed by him.
You groan, “You could’ve asked if that was the case.” He shrugs your words off and you roll your eyes at him, “And how the hell did you know I was in there anyway?”
“I didn’t,” Choso tells you, “I always go in there but today I happened to see your short ass at the counter when I walked in.”
You’re quick to shoot him a glare, “Stop that, I’m not short.”
He’s got this arrogant little grin on his face, “Look short t’me.”
“That’s because you’re taller than me, which doesn’t make you tall in general nor does it make me short.” You explain to the man simply with your eyes shooting daggers into the side of his face.
Choso continues to act as though you’re not even looking at him, “Being shorter than me makes you short-”
“And y’know what,” You cut off, tearing your eyes off of your overly bothersome friend, “You’re annoying.”
He cocks his head back, “Annoying? I’m annoying?” Finally, he looks at you, now searching the side of your face for answers.
“Yeah, very.” You hum.
Choso scoffs and then sizes you up and down, “Says the one who was gawkin’ over Gojo Satoru of all people.”
You nearly laugh, “Fucks’ that supposed to mean? How would that make me annoying?”
“He’s a weirdo,” Choso shrugs, pocketing his hands as he faces forward once more, “I can’t understand what you could possibly find attractive about him.”
You blink and both of you slow down in the pace of your steps, “I talked to him for less than ten minutes, how was I supposed to know he’s weird. And wait-, how does me finding him attractive even annoy you?”
Your best friend sighs and his words come out all too casually for them to be so offensive, “Cause when he breaks your heart,” Choso looks at you, “You’ll come bitchin’ to me about it.”
At that, you freeze, quickly turning to meet his gaze, “Who says he’ll break my heart? And bitching? Is that what you call me talking to you about my relationship issues?? Bitching? Seriously?” With your eyes narrowed and brows tightly knit together, Choso should’ve sensed that he struck a nerve there.
Yet, he seems to not care in the slightest, blinking as if he’d said nothing wrong, “Fuck else am I supposed to call it? I warn you about every guy you date but you don’t ever listen to me.”
Your face twists up, “That doesn’t make my complaints ‘bitching’…”
“Well, it makes it fucking annoying,” He hums before pulling his lips into a thin smile— mocking you through facial expressions.
Your brows go up, “Really? Okay then, sorry for ever confiding in you,” You set your eyes straight once more, “I’ll just go find someone else to-”
“You know no one else is gonna put up with your shit the same way I do,” He’s so quick to dismiss your little statement, almost as if the implication of you ever leaving him, in a sense, bothered him.
You scoff matter-of-factly, “That’s not true.”
“It literally is though,” Choso deadpans, “You have one friend and that’s me. Who the hell else are you gonna go rant to, hm?”
“Someone that doesn’t call my rants bitching.” You huff, crossing your arms over one another.
Choso scales his eyes down to your arms and he smiles, “Are you seriously mad about that?”
“Maybe,” You shrug.
His feet come to a stop and you follow suit, turning to avoid his eyes as much as possible. Choso stares at you for a moment before leaning toward you, tilting his head and angling his lips toward your ear.
All of which done so he could whisper to you, “M’sorry, princess,” Choso murmurs to you affectionately, “Y’know I didn’t mean that seriously, I’m jus’ fuckin’ with you.”
You remain unphased for a mere moment more before the constant brush of his breath against your skin makes you shudder, your hands moving to his chest to push him away, “Yeah, whatever… And stop calling me that.”
Choso blinks, feeling confused since you act as if he hadn’t been calling you such a thing for years, “Why?”
“Cause I don’t like it…” You so clearly lie— not that you enjoyed the nickname but more so that you’ve always felt indifferent to it. Or, almost always.
He smirks, “Your face is telling me an entirely different story.”
“Yeah?” You chuckle, moving to shoot your middle finger at him, “And what story does this tell you?’
Choso stares into your eyes for a long period of time before looking to your finger, smiling fully and tilting his head again, “…You wanna fuck me?”
Immediately putting your finger down, your brows tense, “What? No!” You exclaim, groaning as you return to your walking, “God, I cannot stand you.”
He laughs and follows right alongside you, “You’re so easy to annoy, holy shit.”
“And you’re insufferable,” You huff.
Choso shrugs simply, “You love me though.”
You glance at him, “Debatable.”
He pouts and pretends to clutch his heart, “Ouch-”
“Anyway,” Returning your attention to someone much less annoying than the man beside you, you nod your head back toward the cafe, “Do you know if he’s single?”
Choso nearly trips over his steps at the sound of that, letting out a cough, “Who-, Gojo??”
You nod, “Mhm.”
“Why?” Choso’s lips twitch, “You lookin’ to get rejected?”
Pausing, you look to him with a quirked brow, “Excuse me? What makes you think I’ll get rejected?”
“You’re uh…” He trails off a little, eyes lingering down your frame before he smiles and speaks to you in this faux gentle whisper, “Not his type, sweetie.”
Your eyes roll at that, “Okay, first of all, fuck you. Secondly, how do you know?”
“Uh, I’ve seen the kinda girls he’s into so trust me when I say…” Choso’s eyes shift to peer directly into yours, “It ain’t you.”
You stare back for a moment before shaking your head and looking off, “Whatever, you’re just saying that.”
“Yeah because I’m gonna lie to you about something like that,” He snickers to himself before rolling his eyes. Within seconds, he goes to look at you again only to see you heading in a different direction, “Hey! Where’re you goin’?”
“Away from you!” You call back.
He laughs yet again, “What, you can’t handle the truth now?”
Glancing back to him, “I’m gonna prove you wrong asshole.”
Choso flashes you a shit-eating grin as if he’s already begun praying on your downfall, “Sure you will.”
He then watches as you further away from him, his smile steadily fading as he catches himself a bit too happy at the sight of you so determined. Choso shrugs off whatever feeling the topic of Gojo Satoru had brought up within him, dismissing the entire thing as he truly believed you’d never really get yourself too involved with that guy.
Unfortunately for him, he didn’t see the way you were taking to Gojo before he walked in so, Choso had no idea of how things were about to play out within the next few hours.
· ───────── · ꨄ · ───────── ·
As such, after that morning class of yours that extended decently into the afternoon, you found yourself rushing back to the cafe as soon as you could.
You knew not of Gojo’s working hours so you had no clue whether or not he’d still be there but you sure as hell hoped so. Choso had really ticked you off with his claims.
You not being Gojo’s type? Yeah right, he didn’t see the way that cashier was looking at you, nor did he hear all the banter that took place. Given that, you were determined to prove your dear friend wrong and yourself right. You know flirting when you see it and that’s exactly what Gojo was doing.
So to say he wasn’t at least intrigued by you would be a blatant lie you had every hope on exposing to Choso.
When you finally find yourself entering that lovely little cafe, it’s a lot more busy in comparison to earlier— something you take note of for your possible future visits. The line wasn’t exactly too long but quite a few people were hanging out or studying throughout the establishment.
That aside, your eyes were quick to search for a certain white-haired barista, gaze lighting up the very second it meets the man it questions.
Gojo had a weary smile on his face as he handed some girl a coffee and you could tell based on his eyes alone that he was tired of the chick rambling to him. He nodded and nodded, trying to keep himself appearing entertained by whatever she was saying but when he glances over and spots you, all his attention is diverted.
Those pretty blue eyes of his fixate on you and you watch as he finally dismisses the girl, nodding toward you as if to say he had another customer to tend to. She shrugs and finally leaves, to which you take place in standing where she’d been seconds ago, sending a smile to Gojo.
“Long day?” You suggest with a slight tilt of your head, to which he nods.
“You have no idea,” Gojo sighs out to you, “You’re back sooner than I expected though.”
He didn’t know what it was about you, perhaps the way you gaze at him, but there was something that kept his eyes lingering on yours far longer than normal— something that genuinely lulled him in. Perhaps it was the natural flow of conversation and how even from earlier, you didn’t really feel like a mere customer but instead just a person, a woman at that-, a very pretty woman, might he add.
“You owe me a free drink, remember?” You remind him, earning a different reaction than expected.
Gojo pauses, “Ohh… About that…” He hums, moving to scratch the back of his neck, “Yeah see, that offer no longer stands…”
You blink, “I’m not sure I understand…”
He lets out a sigh, then moves to lean forward against the counter, bending down and crossing his arms as he rests on his elbows and comes much closer to your eye level, “Another cute girl came in ‘nd got it before you,” Gojo whispers.
You couldn’t tell if he was joking or not and your brows pinch together, “Seriously?”
“Mmhmm,” He hums tauntingly with this smug look on his face as if to say giving away your promised drink was to get back at you for something.
“Well,” You click your tongue, “I think you owe me a free drink now more than before, maybe two.”
Gojo smiles, feeling amused, “Yeah? I mean, my number’s free. Y’want that instead?”
Your voice gets caught in your throat at how ridiculously smooth that was, trying your hardest not to give in and return a smile. “I… What am I supposed to do with that?” You end up asking.
He snickers, “Perhaps text me? Or call? Y’know, the thing you do with phones-“
“Alright smart ass,” You scoff playfully, grinning as you move to pull out your phone, “What’s your number then?”
Gojo smiles triumphantly and extends his hand out, “Here, lemme put it in for ya’.”
You glance at him, eyes meeting and yet another moment passing before you hand him your phone, to which he takes a second to look down at the device in his hands. Then, he enters his number and a contact name for himself.
After which, your cell is quickly returned to you and you look to see what he’s put in. Studying the name closely, you tilt your head, “Satoru?”
“Mhm, tha’s me, sweetheart,” He purrs, moving to rest his cheek against his knuckles.
You look up from your phone, “You want me to call you Satoru?”
Gojo shrugs, “If you don’t mind, yeah.”
“We’re on a first-name basis already?” You tease, eyes narrowing at the man.
“It seems we are,” He utters. His voice was a bit lower with you now, much more casual and playful. “That alright with you, pretty girl?”
Unknowingly, your face flushes, “Yeah, that’s uh, that’s fine.”
Gojo lets out a hum, “Good.” Then, the two of you do that thing yet again, peering into one another's eyes, unmoving, nearly frozen and dazed for a moment longer than intended before Gojo snaps out of it by almost awkwardly clearing his throat, “So uh, you still want that free drink or…?”
You blink out of your own stupor and shake your head, “No, I’ll come back for it tomorrow.”
“Oh?” His brows shoot up in surprise, “You’re coming back tomorrow?”
“It seems I am, yes,” A smile graces your face and he can’t help but stare.
Gojo mirrors your expression, “Just for coffee?”
Your eyes wander off to the side cheekily, “Perhaps for a certain handsome cashier too…”
He thinks his heart is fluttering. Is this normal? To experience such a genuine infatuation with a woman’s words within less than twenty-four hours? It was unusual for Gojo, that’s for damn sure. Hence why his head is tipping to the side, “Really? Have my charms worked so soon?” He teases.
You return your gaze to him, “Just a little, yeah.”
Mesmerized by you, Gojo nods, “Good to know.”
“Mhm,” After a slight hum, you glance down at your phone and check the time, “Well uh, I actually have another class so I should probably go.”
“Yes… Yes, you should,” He voices out slowly, again entangled into that daze of his until you lift your head once more, “But uh, make sure you text me later, yeah?” Gojo reminds you.
To which you chuckle and start turning away toward the exit, “No promises.”
He’s left in a mere awe of you, not even knowing what to say, and left utterly speechless from such an intriguing yet simple conversation with you. As you wave bye, Gojo had to feel for his heart the very second you leave just to see if it was working correctly because he’s not sure what the hell that was just now.
Whatever it may have been, he knows it was much more genuine and raw than what he’s typically used to. And it came so naturally too, the banter, the gazes, the flirting… Gojo was longing for more already and he’d only just met you a few hours ago.
· ───────── · ꨄ · ───────── ·
All the while you’re just as cheerful at the interaction you just had, beyond ready to brag to your doubtful best friend of your most recent accomplishments.
Which is exactly why you’re facetiming said friend as soon as you leave the cafe. The call rings for less than a second before it’s answered and you’re met with a visibly displayed and… shirtless Choso.
Before you get the chance to even try and take in his naked torso, he’s already scowling at you, “The fuck are you facetiming me for?” He grumbles, taking the smile right off of your lips, “I’ve seen your face enough for one day. Why don’t you ever call like a normal person??”
You bat your eyelashes at the man, “Cho, we just got on the phone and you’re already souring the mood…”
He ignores your complaint, “What do you want?”
Steadily, your smile returns, “Guess who got a certain someone’s number,” You utter cheerfully, voice light in a little sing-song tone.
Choso gives his phone a blank stare, not saying a single word in response to that.
Which confused you, “Well? Are you gonna guess-“
“You could’ve texted me this shit,” He cuts off before you watch as your screen is soon met with the ceiling as he places his phone down.
You pout, “Well, yeah but then I wouldn’t have been able to see your reaction…”
He scoffs and pops his face into the camera for a second, eyes dull, smile nonexistent, eye bags heavy, and tattoo running across his nose the only thing giving some form of expression despite it being nothing more than a dark black line. “Does it look like I give two shits about you gettin’ some asshole’s number?”
You let out a long sigh, “Remind me why we’re friends again?”
And that’s when Choso seems to smirk, “Cause’ you won’t leave me alone.”
“I’m hanging up,” You groan.
His laughter, albeit somewhat of a rare sound, fills your ears, “Okay, okay, I’m sorry.”
You send him a look, “Are you?”
“Mhm, good job on gettin’ his number, princess,” Choso coos, making your eyes widen, “I’m proud of you.”
Your mouth opens to say something to that but your throat runs oddly dry. Instead, you gulp down his sudden praise and ignore how warm his words make you feel. “…Thank you.” You eventually say.
“Uhuh,” Choso nods before removing himself from the camera again, “Pretty sure he’s just trying to fuck though.” He says bluntly.
Instead of choking like he expected you to, you only scoff, “Fine by me.”
Your best friend is quiet for a moment, feeling almost silenced before he sighs, “Oh… But you told me no-“
“That was entirely different, Choso.” You cut off.
He shuts up again.
“You were drunk, and…” Your voice dies out.
To which he raises a brow at his phone, “And what?”
“And things were different back then,” You sigh, trying not to recall the entirety of your past with Choso at the present moment, “…You were an even bigger asshole, remember?”
“Yeah, yeah,” Choso sighs, moving to dismiss the topic, “Anyway, let me know how things go with your new albino boyfriend.”
You scoff, smiling at the suggestion itself, “He’s not even my-“
The call disconnects. Oh how you just love your best friend and his antics. You wouldn’t trade your friendship with him for anything.
Or at least, that’s what you told yourself anyway. What exactly does a new man in your life bring if not drama? This right here was but the beginning of a very interesting journey toward such a fickle emotion we know as; love.

⚠️ content warning: ⚠️ smut, oral, praise, daddy kink, semi-public, risky, drugdealer!chris, enemies to lovers
✍️ Summary: ✍️ You start rebelling against your cop dad, and who better to be your partner in crime than Chris Sturniolo, the local drug dealer your dad busted last year and told you to stay away from.
⋅˚₊‧ 𐙚 ‧˚ ⋅₊ ⊹🍒⭒⋆. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ ⋅˚₊‧ 𐙚 ‧˚ ⋅₊ ⊹🍒⭒⋆
"You look a little out of place here," a familiar voice from behind me broke through the sound of the loud music and startled me, causing me to nearly drop my red solo cup. I whipped around to see who it was. Chris Sturniolo. My dad had warned me about him. He'd busted Chris for selling weed last year, but of course, he didn't learn his lesson and was still just as much of a scumbag as ever.
"What do you want, Chris?" I rolled my eyes after subtly looking him up and down. He looked really fucking good. He was in a black tanktop, a grey flannel, grey sweatpants, and a backward black hat. He held a blunt loosely between his lips as he smiled at me. "What I'd really like is to get out of here and smoke this with you," he said, taking the unlit blunt out of his mouth and holding it out to me.
"You know my dad would kill me if I smoked weed, but he'd kill me twice if I smoked weed with you," I scoffed. "He doesn't have to find out, sweetheart. Plus, he'd be pissed that you were at this party to begin with. Why stop pissing him off now?" Chris responded, smirking at me.
I was going through a bit of a rebellious phase. Growing up with a cop father, there were a lot of things I couldn't participate in as a high school student without being worried he'd play detective and find out or something. But I was finally starting to branch out and test the water a little bit when it came to boys and drinking. After all, I was 19 with nearly no experience. Why not weed, too?
"I've never smoked before," I told him. "I know. I'd love to be the one to pop your cherry," Chris devilishly grinned at me. I rolled my eyes at him and smoothed out the wrinkles in my dress. "Listen, I know you're trying to rebel against your dad. This is your first party. This is probably your first alcoholic drink," Chris said, pointing to the cup in my hand, and he was right, "and I'd love to help you rebel a little bit."
"What's in it for you?" I glared at him. "Revenge on your dad for busting me last year. Corrupting his little girl would be my pleasure," Chris leaned in and whispered to me. His lips brushed against my ear lobe, sending shivers down my spine.
I thought about it for a second. I'd always hated Chris, and I was still weary of him, because my dad had warned me about him, and had pretty much forbade me from ever making friends with him, even though he wasn't my type of people. But I was a little morbidly curious about him. "Fine," I agreed, and he extended his hand out to me, and I took it.
He led me through the crowd and out the back door, our shoes crumpling the dead leaves beaneath us. There was a spot on the side of the house that was tucked away behind a tree that Chris brought me to. We both leaned up against the house, looked up at the starry night sky, and were glad to get away from all the noise and people.
The autumn breeze kicked up as Chris attempted to spark up the blunt. "Here. Help me? Hold your hands out like this," Chris showed me, and I made a little cave with my palms to shield the lighter from the wind. The fire from the lighter was warm, especially compared to the cool outside air.
He took a few hits and then passed it to me. "Now, just take one hit. This is your first time, so you don't wanna overdo it," he said in a low raspy voice, "and make sure that when you inhale, you inhale into your lungs, not just into your mouth before blowing it out."
I held the blunt up to my lips, and as I sucked, the cherry on the end made a faint crackling sound. The smoke felt warm and thick in my lungs. "Hold it, hold it. Okay, now you can exhale. Good girl," Chris whispered, and as I blew out the smoke, I coughed hard, and I wasn't sure if it was from the smoke or if it was from when I gasped when Chris called me that.
"Just sit tight for like ten minutes, and if you don't feel anything, I'll let you have another hit, okay?" Chris said, rubbing my cheek. "Why are you being so nice to me?" I asked him, giving him a skeptical look. "Because I was once in your shoes, experimenting with drugs for the first time, and there was no one looking out for me, but I wish there were," he answered, taking another puff and blowing it in the opposite direction as I was standing. "I have a question for you now," he stated, glancing at me with his beautiful, bloodshot blue eyes, "why do you dislike me?"
"Chris, you're a drug dealer. My dad has warned me about you. You're a dangerous man," I told him, looking down at my shoes. "I promise I'm not dangerous. You don't know me, and your pig dad doesn't know me. Yeah, so I sell weed. That's one very small part of who I am," Chris replied, with a genuine hurt in his voice.
I could relate to his dismay in being judged by someone who doesn't even really know you. After all, having a dad who was a cop and being the odd one out when it came to experience with boys and drugs came with a lot of judgment as well.
"I'm sorry. I guess I don't know you," I responded in a shaky voice. "That's alright. After all, judgments aren't all bad. It's your judgment that tells you not to walk into a lion's den," Chris responded, blowing a cloud of smoke above him, and I watched it dissipate into the night sky.
"I think I'm starting to feel it," I whispered, fixating on the way the smoke danced through the atmosphere with Chris' every exhale. I felt less uptight and less serious. "Does it feel good?" Chris smirked. "Yeah," I said, my eyelids growing heavy while I smiled over at him like an idiot.
"You look so pretty when you're high," Chris whispered, holding the lit tobacco leaf back up to his lips. "God, I wish I were that blunt," I whispered back, and Chris' eyes widened as he smiled in disbelief. "Oh my god, did I just say that out loud?" I asked, covering my mouth with my hand.
"Yeah, is that how you really feel?" Chris asked, winking at me. I blushed. "I'm sorry. I'm high. I was thinking, and I didn't mean to say that out loud. Are weed and alcohol supposed to make you horny?" I asked, glancing down into my nearly empty solo cup.
"It can have that effect sometimes," Chris teased me, offering me the blunt one more time. I accepted it, inhaling just like Chris told me and blowing the smoke out, but this time, because the blunt was so small, it slightly burnt my fingers and lips when I took a drag. I still coughed, but Chris rubbed my back.
"Did you mean that earlier? About wishing you were the blunt?" Chris poked fun at me while he took a last puff and put out the cherry on the bottom of his shoe. I innocently bit my lip and ignored his question.
Chris leaned in and kissed me. His lips were smooth and soft, and he tasted of weed and cherry chapstick. His tongue begged for entrance into my mouth, and I allowed it. His kiss was gentle but powerful, and his hands immediately started wandering my body. I'd made out with boys before and even been touched by them before, but the way Chris' fingers danced across my neckline and down to my waist made me think we might go further than I ever had before.
Chris' hand traveled down to my thighs, and he pushed up the hem of my dress and started rubbing the front of my panties. "Oh my, look at you getting all wet. Is that because of me?" He asked, looking into my eyes. "Mhmmm," I moaned while he held my neck with one hand and slid his other down the front of my underwear. I gasped as he made direct contact with my clit and started gently toying with it.
"Has anyone ever kissed you here before?" He asked while he rubbed it. I looked up at him and shook my head, a little embarrassed. "Well, then, you're gonna love this," Chris whispered to me before he descended to his knees in front of me. He helped me out of my panties, one leg at a time, and he looked up into my eyes while he brought his mouth closer to my pussy.
As soon as he started twirling his tongue over my sensitive nerves in small, concentrated circles, moans started streaming from my lips. "Do you like it when I go slow like this?" He asked, moving his tongue in long, slow licks over it. "Or do you like this better?" He asked, while he sped up the pace and started fiddling my clit with his tongue faster than I thought anyone could ever move their tongue before. My knees grew weak, and I could barely think.
"Just like that," I whimpered while I entangled my fingers with his locks of hair. "Yes, daddy," I squealed. Why did I just call him that? I was so embarrassed, but he didn't stop or shame me. Instead, he started moaning against me, sending vibrations through my body. Maybe he liked that I had called him that.
"Oh, daddy, you lick me so good," I quietly cried out. "Mmmm, good girl. Cum on daddy's tongue, princess," Chris teased me as I swiveled my hips in circles against his gorgeous mouth. I couldn't take it anymore. Chris' words, his tongue, his eyes piercing my soul, the built up sexual repression, it all sent me over the edge.
I could barely stand, but thanks to the wall behind me and the way Chris was holding me up, I was able to let my body fall limp and relax into my orgasm. What a sweet release. The first orgasm that anybody had ever given me besides myself. And it was better too. Chris stood up after he lapped up my mess and leaned beside me back up against the wall, grinning at me.
"I wonder what your daddy would think if he knew you were drinking and smoking with me, calling me daddy while I eat your pussy."

ᯓ ᝰ RIGHT HERE .ᐟ — touya todoroki
Tumblr media
touya x female reader. content tags modern au, childhood sweetheart!touya, both are working adults, making out, mentions of infidelity/murder, he’s a tease. word count 1.7k
ᯓ notes .ᐟ haha can you tell i love touya too much rn ? just getting back into writing so have some of my touya :) thanks to any of you who read this <3
Tumblr media
“touya, you’re gonna make me late for work tomorrow,” you whine, pouting as he wins you in yet another round of super smash bros. (and hence you’d have to stay up and continue playing at his behest.)
beside you, touya smirks, rows of pearly white visible while he clearly enjoys tormenting you. “weren’t you the one who said you needed a distraction?”
you grumble as you take the couch pillow and hold it over your face, groaning in frustration. touya’s right; you’d called him right after dinner, practically forced him to come after you figured out that you’re actually not as strong you thought and you’re actually still really upset that your ex cheated on you.
it’s only pathetic because it’s already been a couple of months and you’re still wallowing over it somehow.
“you know, i bet all that frustration will go away if you just let me kill that fucker,” touya tells you, flicking your forehead as leans forward, yanking the cushion off your face.
unamused, you deadpan at him. “yeah? then what am i gonna do when you’re in jail, huh?”
touya snickers, “aww, what? can’t handle being without me?”
in a strange way, your honest answer is definitely not. you’ve known touya forever. ever since you were five and your families connected at a preschool event. ever since your friend fuyumi introduced you to her brother. ever since touya confided in you how much he hated his father.
fast forward more than a decade later and you’re both sitting in your apartment, in a different state than either of your families, still as close as you were when you were kids.
you glare at touya, rolling your eyes before scrunching your nose and smirking at him. “actually, go ahead, i’ll go find myself a better guy while you rot in the cell.”
your best friend scoffs, cocking a brow and looking like he’s offended. “i off someone for you and you don’t marry me immediately? the fuck is wrong with you?”
the shit-eating grin that dawns on his face immediately after makes your heart skip a beat. yeah, you’ve always found him attractive, maybe even had a crush on him back in high school, but he’d always had girls after girls, and somewhere along the way you learned to stuff those flimsy emotions back down.
until you remember that he’s been single for a while now, and the fact that you’re both working adults with all the freedom in the world.
fuck, you really shouldn’t go back there.
“haha, funny,” you try to wave it off sarcastically. “says the one who told his ex that he just sees me as a little sister.”
he laughs, leaning back against the couch, a hand behind his head, abs sticking out from the edge of his shirt. it takes you a second to rein yourself in, not wanting to get teased relentlessly by him if you get caught staring.
“hey, she was getting jealous of me spending so much time with you! what was i supposed to say?”
yes, you’re aware. most of them were. most of the time you never told touya about any of that; of how his girlfriends were coming up to you, all insecure about your friendship and asking if you could back off. that was the most common thing among all his relationships: the girls’ pleas for you to keep a distance.
you did… the first few times.
and after his fifth relationship, you realised that touya would always pull you back close. would always end up breaking up with them if your friendship is causing them too much worry.
“you didn’t have to say anything, maybe you should’ve just kept your distance, you know? since most of them seemed to have a problem with it,” you comment, trying to act as nonchalant as possible, though even you don’t believe yourself.
a life without touya is unimaginable for you. even if you can’t really say the same for him.
touya sighs, shifting in his position before ultimately putting an arm around you, pulling you close. he smells like your soap and his hair against your face tickles.
he’s always like this; always touchy, always close. recently he’s been more than usual, coming over and sleeping the night (you never did anything physical!), chasing other guys away at the club because they’re not good enough for you.
and when he’s like that, you think maybe there’s no harm in letting those long-lost feelings flow back.
it’s dangerous.
he’s always like this. always way too much for you to handle. and yet you can’t live without him.
and then he does something he’s never done before.
you feel his lips on your temple, and you hear the chuckle reverberating from his throat. his left arm around you holds you tight, not that you’re running anywhere—you’re pretty sure you’re frozen stiff from the shock.
did that really happen?
“how can i do that when you’re the only one i want?”
you’re sure that’s his voice. it can’t be anyone else’s. but you’re not sure if you believe him. is he really saying what you think he’s saying?
slowly, you turn to face him, expecting him to wear that smug grin and tease you for being so gullible but it never comes. instead, you’re greeted with his half-lidded eyes, blue pupils staring at your lips like he’s hypnotised, his thumb caressing your lower lip from left to right like he’s trying to memorise all the grooves.
it’s so soft that you barely recognise your own voice when it comes, “touya, kiss me.”
and maybe he’s always wanted to, because he doesn’t miss a beat. the second you open your mouth, he’s giving you what you asked for, his tongue prying your lips open and he tastes just like the warm in winter mornings, like the comfort people always dream about.
mint. you can taste the sweet from when he ate it right before he beat you in the game. you can feel the cold on the tip of your nose from when you brush against the piercings on his nostrils. you can feel him carry you onto his lap, feel his hands wrapping around your waist. you can feel his heartbeat under his chest, under your palm, almost as erratic as your own.
were you really just upset over someone else?
every relationship you’d been sad over suddenly didn’t seem to make sense anymore. not when touya’s right here, lips locked with yours and telling you more with his kiss than you’ve ever heard from his words.
by the time you pull away, both of you are breathless, his hand on your cheek, lips softly brushing over your own like he can’t bear to be away even for just a second. you can’t bring yourself to open your eyes, half overwhelmed and half confused.
“fuck, did we really just—”
“shh,” you hush him, putting a finger on his lips, suddenly embarrassed. your foreheads are still pressed together, and you can’t see it but he’s admiring your face, holding himself back from just kissing you even more.
touya moves your finger away. he whispers your name in the most gentle tone you’ve ever heard, “does that mean you feel the same?”
you swallow the lump in your throat, tongue-tied and still straddling your best friend on the couch. you’re just a single impulsive action away from going all the way.
dangerous.
pulling back even further, you’re about to make a break for your bedroom when touya pulls you back, making sure you face him.
“no running this time,” he tells you, voice raspy and his eyes flicking from your eyes to your nose and your lips but mostly your lips. “i want you,” he whispers, and the minute you lock gazes, the answer has never been more clear to you.
“i want you too, touya,” you answer, both excited and afraid but he never lets you harp on things too much because he’s already kissing you silly, barely letting you breathe—you don’t have to guess with him; he wants you so desperately you can feel it in his actions.
“touya, we should stop,” you whine, knowing that this might be going way too quick yet you want it all the same.
touya shakes his head, big hands slipping under your shirt and squeezing your waist. “no, don’t wanna stop,” he whispers into your mouth.
he’s about to pull your shirt over your head when the loud shrill of his phone interrupts. he would’ve tossed it to the side if you hadn’t taken it and insisted he should take it. it’s from shoto, after all. (he doesn’t call often, it’s a complicated relationship.)
grumbling, touya leans back, keeping your thighs in place so you can’t move away. he’s smirking at you as he answers, “shoto, what is it?”
you can’t hear his brother over the phone. you can only guess snippets of the conversation from touya’s end.
“huh.”
“what for?”
“you’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.”
“yeah, yeah, whatever.”
when he finally puts it down, he pulls you close by the chin, a glint of mischief in his grin. “get ready, doll.”
“huh? for what?”
touya gives you a peck on the lips. “family’s visiting, a surprise or whatever. they’re already in the city.”
you blink, praying he’s not being serious and wishing it’s not what you’re thinking. “okay, have fun!”
“and where do you think you’re going?” touya laughs, pulling you back down after you barely got back up.
“go spend some time with them, it’ll be fun.”
“oh i’m sure it’ll be fun,” he smirks, typing something into his phone and sending the message before you can sneak a peek.
you’re almost too scared to ask. but you do. “and why’s that?”
touya chuckles, thinking you’re way too stubborn, playing dumb even if it’ll kill you. but he guesses it’s fine if he has to spell it out for you. “because i wanna re-introduce you.”
“wait, what do you mean?”
with a gentle smile and a poke on your forehead, he looks you in the eyes. “i’m gonna introduce them to my future wife.”

yuuji itadori 🌸
BRUHH I LOVE HIM SM HE'S SO HUSBAND MATERIAL
the first out of the bunch to tie the knot
a high school sweetheart kinda vibe like y'all def got married straight out of graduating jujutsu tech
small and intimate wedding, just friends and family in attendance
never shuts up about you when you guys are apart.
"y'know [name]- my wife, me and my wife-, isn't my wife just the coolest?"
megumi and nobara are SICK OF HIM
absolutely REFUSES to go on missions without you cause bby just wants to protect you
when you guys finish missions he always takes you out to eat in tokyo, it's like a lil tradition you guys do 🥲💕
as for dates it's always super spontaneous and he makes sure you never do the same thing twice
but he likes to stay home too!! movie dates at home are his favorite, but he won't tell you since he knows you like going out
HE ALSO PAYS FOR UR STUFF AT THE BEAUTY SUPPLY UGHHH
just follows you around as you fill up the basket and is ready to pay at the register
he's just so happy he's yours.
megumi fushiguro 🌸
not THE last! but one of the last to get married
BUT HE LOVES U SO FREAKING MUCH
it took him a couple years to pop the question, not because he wasn't sure about your relationship, but because he wanted to make sure he was ready before making such a big commitment
no wedding, y'all eloped and went to the courthouse but you had a little ceremony after :3
isn't super vocal about his affections like yuuji, but he does small things
you're his homescreen and his lockscreen is a picture of you two at the courthouse when you guys got married 🩷
he trust your abilities but does secretly fret when you go on missions alone
as for dates he's def a homebody...
he considers any one on one time with you a date...not in a lame way tho!
he just finds the two of you in your home alone to be intimate and comfortable
speaking of home alone...you guys have one kiddo since you guys were a little older when you tied the knot!!
a cute little girl who is y'alls pride and joy. when you told megumi you were pregnant tho he was terrified.
he just didn't want to turn out like his father
but he loves you and your little girl dearly 🩷.
satoru gojo 🌸
THE BLUE EYED PRINCE IS UR HUSBAND??? girl whats ur secret??
anyways, small wedding (he didn't want the elders all up in ur buisness) happy home, and wayyy too many kids
nobody expected you both to have so many kids but you have such a beautiful body!! how could he keep his hands off you?
and besides look at him and tell me he doesn't have a breeding kink...
due to you both being the strongest sorcerers and the kids, your schedules got a bit hectic but he always makes sure you're taken care of
multiple calls day and night, he loves to hear your voice...or moans. (he's hi-key a freak)
RESTURAUNT DATES
we know he loves sweets but you guys always go to nice restaurants, cause he believes you deserves the finest things in life
and he loves his kid so dearly
he's giving me 2 girls, 1 boy energy
from the tea parties, makeovers and late video game nights, he endures it all because of how much he adores them.
he adores you even more tho <3.
suguru geto 🌸
the. perfect. husband.
anything you want? you got it.
hair? done. nails? how much is your set?
definitely had the biggest wedding out of everyone (and the biggest ring)
AND A HUGE HONEYMOON like y'all were gone at least 2 weeks
everyone's fav couple, like nobody ever gets sick of y'all
he absolutely lovesss pda can can't keep his hands to him self. always has a hand on your lower back, arm around your shoulders, and he's just super in tune to you as a whole
wants kids bad, LIKE BAD
and y'all got busy on that honeymoon so you def had one pretty soon after the wedding
when you were pregnant, he spoiled you rotten and he made it his #1 priority to make sure you hadn't a worry in the world
you have 2 beautiful girls and suguru loves them more than life
he tries his best to keep them away from sorcerer life for as long as possible because he knows what it's like to be ostracized because of that life
has no favorites, but if he did it would be you.
kento nanami 🌸
sighhh my old man :)))
last to marry, but the ceremony was beautiful!
intimate but like i said, vv nice
lovesss to spoil you!! and plus we all know he makes hella bank bc he needs someone to spend it on
shopping dates!! mostly consist of him following you around and you just picking out what you like
if you even look at smth he's already at the register
prefers staying at home dates though, like reading together, cooking together, and movie dates!!
minimizes pda in public- perhaps holds your hand maybe
but in private he is so clingyyyy like you have to tear him off you lip to lip, chest to chest, hip to hip, you name it
you practically hung the stars, you could do no wrong in his eyes
is 50/50 on kids???
he's not going to actively ask you to start a family but he also is totally on board if you want to
we all know this man is under a lot of stress so his favorite way to spend time with you is coming home after a long day and cuddling with you 🩷
he's utterly obsessed with you (he's just good at hiding it)
takuma ino 🌸
THIS IS LITERALLY MY HUSBAND GUYS- HEAR ME OUT
high school sweethearts but y'all broke up right before graduation
you guys adored eachother but he was scared of losing you once you guys became sorcerers ಥ_ಥ
but fear not! you guys got back together a year- 2 years later bc he's in love with u
he wanted to propose as soon as you got back together but he has more common sense than that
when he does though it's so cutieee
def private and small, just like the wedding. only your closest friends and family, because he wants everything to be perfect
loves fun dates like laser-tag, go-carts, ect. bc he is just a big little kid
if you do missions together, he is literally that scene from hotel transylvania: "that's my girlfriend!" "your wife, ino..." "my wife? even better!"
i'm not even gonna sugarcoat it y'all get pregnant immediately after
ino is def terrified. you guys are both young and you've barely been married for 3 months
but he pulls it together obv and y'all have a cutie little son <3
just like yuuji, he gushes about his little family to nanami constantly (kento acts like he hates it but he finds it endearing)
he reads to your son for bedtime every night WITHOUT FAIL
he always thinks about how he wouldn't have things any other way.

Tumblr media
PRE-RELATIONSHIP
i feel like caitlin just gives off childhood best friends to lovers + high school sweethearts, like you guys knew each your entire lives and were like super duper close
and then one day it kinda just like hit caitlin like SHE IS **IN LOVE** WITH YOU
she's definitely the first one to "catch feelings"
i use that term VERY loosely because both of you guys were idiots and didn't realize you'd loved each other the first time you met
but she's the first one to realize it
which i feel like would cause a slight rift between you two because up until that point, it was "platonic"
she just wouldn't know how to go about her feelings and it would just stress her out, so she just began to distance herself
and in the years you've known her SHE'S NEVER DONE THAT TO YOU, so obviously you notice
and you try and talk to her about it but she reassures you and tells you it's nothing, that she's just stressed about school
which you don't buy so you just keep bugging her about it, cause she's ur best friend ur not about to lose her!!
eventually you give up after realizing that maybe she just doesn't wanna be friends with you anymore, and after you didn't show up to her game, caitlin knew she FUCKED UP
so after the game, she goes to your house and tells you that she messed up
and you both go up to your room and talk about it, she's SO emotional and just stressed out but she pours everything out to you
and you're confused at first, caitlin likes YOU????
and when you hug her and tell her it's alright, that you liked her back, baby was taken aback cause she's like WHAT
she expected you to just be okay with it obviously but she never expected you to tell her you LIKED HER BACK????
it's just so cutesy rom-com-y and just... ADORABLE and sweet
RELATIONSHIP
queen of cuddles, oh my lord this woman is always on top of you
she doesn't really process her size sometimes cause she'll just lay on top of you and she forgets that she's literally 6ft with a bunch of muscles
you've almost died multiple times
she's super duper touchy all the 24/7 EXCEPT AT GAMES
pda is cute and all but not at games because she has to keep up an appearance and being overly touchy with your girlfriend at a game isn't exactly a great image
but she'll do it anywhere else!!!!!! but of course not too much cause again, the whole image thing
she loves taking pictures and videos to everything, her entire camera roll is just you and her atp
like vlogs GALORE to send to her family and stuff, because they adore you and her relationship!!!!
and obvs the team but they get rly sick and tired quicklu
"caitlin we get it u have an amazing healthy relationship" *attachment: 8 photos of you guys giving a thumbs down with frowns* "did we rly need 8 photos?" "yes!!!!!!!!"
and she vlogs everything, like every moment with you, she's got recorded
but those are usually very sacred to her, she doesn't show them to anyone and she hearts them so that she can look at them anytime she misses u :(
she loves showing you off on her instagram stories!!! but she gives everyone crumbs, like your back with her jersey and a cutesy little heart and you two holding hands
she has posts of you guys from high school still on instagram but she doesn't really post you a lot just because she wants to be professional
but whenever she can, SHE DOESSSS (like that whole 1yr post but with u.......)
you're at every single one of her important games!!!!! since yall have been together for so long, you guys make time for each other (ofc), she'll fly you out, pay for your hotels and everything
you're her number one supporter and fan!!!! oh my gosh
because she can't respond to weird comments, YOU def can
especially the ones that are like "i can def beat her in a 1v1" and it's just some random man
"most mens players at college level couldn't even beat her, i guarantee a random guy on tiktok could🤗" "you're 5'7, think again 💀"
caitlin just laughs at the comments but you will never let anyone shit talk your girlfriend????
she finds your protectiveness so endearing like it makes her fall more in love w you (if that's even possible?"
rom-com nights are like the ideal date night - caitlin cooks the food and you pick the movie, you guys cuddling on the couch as you eat and watch the movie is like every free saturday/sunday for yall
caitlin hates being away from you, she just wishes you could be with her 24/7
if she's away from you, expect 10000+ messages from her and 10 minute snapchat vlogs of her just at the gym while she speaks into the speakers quietly as if she's being followed (shes just dramatic)
some of the vlogs are just her in the hotel room very bored, trying to think of something to talk to u about and ITS SO CUTE
"so uh... i heard that squirrels can't burp. isn't that weird and like.... kinda sad? imagine living your whole life without being able to burp, i think i would die. speaking of that, i tried making your mom's cupcakes the other day, but i accidentally used salt instead of sugar! and that's exactly why i stick to cooking, baking is too damn hard. oh shit, kate is calling me, i gotta go but uh i hope you're having a great day. i miss you like crazy and can't wait until we're together again. i love you!"
yeah she's a yapper
she loves when you do her hair because i feel like she's more of a outfit person
so she would like if you braided her hair or like curled it or something, it makes her feel good and like pretty
the one time she curled her hair without you, she burned her arm and she swore she'd never again🫠

you belong with me
satoru gojo x f!reader
**part of my satoru as taylor swift songs series
content: high school!au, gojo is a robotics nerd, reader is class president, emo nanami (my beloved), toji is ur shitass football playing boyfriend, typical cheesy highschool drama
an: tell me why posting this is giving me a tummy ache like I haven't posted for gojo in forever and now i think I suck at it :OOO anyways, please be nice to me about this and close your eyes if you hate it. also, totally reliving my high school days when I was senior class vice president (worst experience of my life) FDLJFKDSJFLS
--
You’re a hater. A self proclaimed, real-life, deep in your soul hater.
What do you hate today? Being class president.
You hate that you willingly ran, somehow won, had people up your ass all day about stuff that wasn’t in your control, and got stuck in the current situation you were in. Which was arguing with your boyfriend Toji, as you pace around your room and do your own fair share of screaming back.
“You just did that shit because you were pissed at me.”
“I did not, Toji. You know, not everything is about you. Other people needed the money and I put it where it was needed.”
“To the color guard team? Babe, no one gives a fuck about the color guard team. Everyone is at the homecoming game to watch the football team. Not a bunch of idiots waving flags in the air.”
“They’re also part of the game and all their equipment is broken. They need it more than you when you guys literally get donors and funding from the district and-”
“You’re just pissed about the sweetheart thing. That’s why you’re doing this shit and taking it out on everyone else.”
“Toji, I’m not even mad about-”
You’re met with the sound of ringing over the phone, signaling that Toji had enough and finally hung up on you. You flop straight onto your bed, pushing your face so hard into your pillow that sits uncomfortably against your nose and the smell of your laundry detergent makes its way to the crevices of your brain.
You hear a banging behind you and twist around to see Gojo pointing at his walkie-talkie, switching it on as you reach for yours. It’s still covered in glittery pink stickers from when you were seven, the silver coming off on your hand every time you grab it.
“Come in, bunny.”
“Loud and clear, Toru.”
He smiles, setting his hardware down - probably for another weird ass robot he was making - as he holds it up to his face, talking again.
“You okay?”
“Yeah. Just arguing with Toji, again. I’ll start allocating some of our funds to get you some sound proof windows.”
“Much appreciated, Madam President. That’s very generous of you.”
You laugh, dropping the walkie talkie to lift your fingertips to your temples, lightly massaging the pulsating under your skin.
“For what it’s worth, the color guard team is really grateful you did that for them. I know Utahime was so excited when the new flags came in, she was flipping them around on the field for hours.”
“That’s why it’s even more annoying. I know what I did was right, but he just doesn’t see it that way. Uta dragged me down to the field to watch them and their choreography looks so much better with the multicolored flags. They were really happy about it.”
“Heavy is the head that wears the crown?”
“Heavy is the head that’s dating Toji Fushiguro.”
He laughs as you switch your channel off, taking the last few seconds to study you before you draw your curtains. He can see the tension sitting in your shoulders and how clearly it hurts you to argue with Toji like this. And it infuriates him. That you even have to go to sleep angry and that the cause is the headass idiot you’re dating.
Toji Fushiguro is lucky, far more lucky than he realizes. Not for obvious reasons. Yeah, he’s a great football player and yeah, he’ll probably get scouted for some really good university at the end of the year. He doesn’t have a shortage of friends or intelligence and for all intents and purposes, he’s loved (which Gojo doesn’t understand at all).
He’ll probably be that scumbag that people see a few years down the line and then get infuriated at. Because if an absolute asshat like Toji Fushiguro can be successful, then truly all things have gone to shit. That the patriarchy is real, that society is broken, living proof that the asshole always wins and everyone else always loses.
But no, those are common reasons to hate Toji Fushiguro - ones he’s heard echoed by Suguru and Shoko every time he does something that pisses the two of them off. Like scream obscenities in the hallways, block their parking spots when they’re going to class, call them names when they walk by.
No. Toji Fushiguro is lucky because he gets to date you. Because out of the long list of girls he had to pick one, Toji just had to pick the one that was his. The girl he’s been in love with since he moved in right across the street and had a smiley neighbor excitedly waving at him through her bay window.
To him, love has always been the pigtail braids you used to wear everyday in the fourth grade, the matching walkie-talkies you bought him in sixth grade when he got grounded, and that sweet smile you’ve had since the first day he’s met you.
And when he sees those green curtains pulled against the bay window he’s stared at for years, where he’s loved you from for years, he lifts the walkie and says what he forgot to mention.
I love you.
--
Thanks to your gracious ride, you make it to school thirty minutes early. Your intuition - that Toji was ditching you as your ride to school this morning - was correct. Luckily, you made it in time just before class started.
Nanami’s already seated on the green bench outside the classroom, headphones plugged into his ears. As you walk up, you silently wonder how much hair gel it takes to keep his Gerard Way hairstyle in place.
“Hi Kento! How is my best friend doing on this fine morning?”
“We’re not best friends.”
“Sure we are!”
You reach forward and pinch his cheek in your hand, which he only swats off and rolls his eyes at. That’s how you know your best friends. Because if it was anyone else, Nanami would probably break their hand and walk away. But he always lets you tease him, because he know he loves you.
“Are you still fighting with that dog?”
“That dog has a name. And it’s Toji. And I’m not sure, he didn’t pick me up for school this morning.”
“Did he at least tell you he wouldn’t?”
“No. I was lucky enough that Satoru had walked Megs to the bus stop a little late and I was able to get a ride with him.”
Nanami looks over, narrowing his eyes at you, as the hallway starts getting crowded with people. And you know what he’s saying, what he’s been saying for the past few months.
“You know, it’s very normal to give your neighbor a ride when they need one. Not everything has ulterior motives, Kento.”
“That’s true. Everything doesn’t have ulterior motives. But he does. I’ve seen how he looks at you.”
“How does he look at me, Kento?”
“Like he’d kiss the ground you’d walk on.”
You roll your eyes, reaching up to mess up his perfectly styled hair. It doesn’t budge and you get a handful of minty smelling hair gel.
“As if.”
Like you’ve summoned him by bringing him up, Satoru’s sidestepping to where you and Nanami are sitting, Shoko and Getou in tow with him.
“Nanami~~ How’s my best friend doing?” Satoru says, bending over to totally obscure Nanami’s line of vision.
“Shut the fuck up, Gojo.” Nanami responds.
Nanami stands up, giving you a look, before he stalks away to his next class. Leaving you, Satoru, Shoko, and Getou standing in front of your classroom.
“So. I hear you have a robotics competition?” you ask.
“Yeah. Next Saturday. We always practice our hardware out the night before, throw a little party in the lab. You should come.” Getou says, smiling at you.
Satoru smacks Getou in the stomach right after he invites you, clearly trying to tell him something with his eyes. And then when he catches you staring, he gives you a nervous laugh.
You get it. He doesn’t want you there.
“Don’t act too excited to see me now, Satoru. Anything more and I might think you like me.” you bite sarcastically.
“What? No, it’s not like that. I just-” Satoru stutters,
“So you don’t like me?” you say, smirking at him. Shoko and Getou are laughing, the tips of Satoru’s turning pink as he very adamantly tells you that he does indeed like you.
“I have stuff to set up for the homecoming game that day, so I won’t be able to. But I’ll try my best, yeah?”
“Okay. Next time?” Getou asks.
“Sure, Sugar-u. I’ll see you guys around, yeah?”
You give the three of them a polite smile as you trudge away, leaving to meet Toji at his locker and give him a piece of your mind for this morning. Which leaves Shoko and Getou to give Satoru the scolding of his life.
“Are you fucking stupid, Satoru? You made it seem like you didn’t want her there.” Shoko says, smacking him on the back of the head.
“I panicked! Plus, Haibara always likes to play Just Dance and I’d rather not embarrass myself in front of her.” Satoru responds, rubbing the now sore spot on the back of his head.
“You’re hopeless, Satoru. She’s never going to like you if you keep rejecting her the way you do.” Suguru says, dragging him along to the robotics lab.
“She has a boyfriend. Who isn’t me. As if she would even consider dating me in the first place.”
And when the three of them pass you by the lockers, clearly getting yelled at by Toji, it only furthers their argument more.
“Yeah, I’m sure she really loves him, Satoru.”
--
Your argument with Toji hours prior simmers in your head, as you wait for the bus to arrive and for this godforsaken day to finally be over. You watch him pile into his car with Salma and the other boys from the football team, which only makes your anger fester more.
He’s doing this to piss you off. Of course, he’s doing this to-
“Need a ride?”
You look up and unclench your fists to find Satoru, sparkly blue eyes shining at you and a hand held out to you.
“Thanks.”
He leads you to his car, an almost demolished Honda Civic from his maniacal driving, and you climb in, immediately putting your head in your hands. You can feel him moving around you, the engine purring on and him backing out of the spot.
“About earlier. I don’t not want you to come to the robotics thing. I just thought it was awkward the way he asked you and I-I didn’t want you to feel obligated to come, you know? And I-I’d like it if you came too and so would the rest of us.” he rambles, a hand in his hair.
You look up, his ears tinted pink from the confession.
“I was just teasing you, Satoru. I’ll try to make it by, okay?”
He sighs, a clear breath of relief, and looks over to smile.
“Okay, cool cool cool. Now tell me why you and Toji are fighting.”
“When aren’t we fighting?” you murmur, pressing your head against the glass.
“But why?”
And when you look over, his blue eyes staring into yours, in earnest while the light is red, you unload it all.
“Do you know about the sweethearts thing they do at the homecoming game?”
“Uh. That’s when the cheerleaders wear the jerseys right. And then decorate the locker room or some shit for the players.”
“Yeah. Well, it’s not limited to cheerleaders. It usually is, but if you’re dating someone, that person can do it for you.”
“So I’m guessing Toji doesn’t want you to do it for him.”
“Not exactly. He was just saying that it’s more traditional for a cheerleader to do it since they’re also on the side of the track and he wants to see his name out there instead of running around, trying to make sure the game is running and all that.”
You slump into the chair as Satoru frowns, a pitying look in his eyes, as he keeps driving. You can’t help but watch him, his silhouette against the window - defined jaw, the slope of his nose.
He’s not the guy who ran away from kissing you in the eighth grade. He’s just ten times hotter.
You shake your head, letting the thought spill from your mind, as Satoru looks over.
“Jamoca?” he says, giving you a wide grin.
You can’t help but laugh, nodding as Satoru makes a sharp left turn, making his way to the ice cream shop.
Jamoca is your favorite ice cream flavor. Coffee, layered with fudge and almonds, became a proclaimed favorite when Satoru dragged you once in the sixth grade. After very sorely losing the class president battle, you moped in your room for five days - even going as far as borrowing one of Nanami’s My Chemical Romance vinyls to truly and properly mope.
On day three of blasting the vinyl, Satoru called enough and dragged you to the closest ice cream store, claiming it was the closest thing to therapy that you normies could afford. Since then, any bad day was easily solved with two things.
Jamoca and Satoru.
When you make it to the store, Satoru’s excitedly dragging you out of the car, his hand pressed in yours as you both run into the store, giggling while you order your single scoops. And when he drags you out to the curb and you sit there, you silently think to yourself why you ever stopped doing this in the first place.
Satoru leans over, digging his chocolate fudge covered spoon into your cup, before talking.
“So. If you guys fight so much, why are you still dating?”
“Dunno. Feels weird to initiate a breakup, I guess. I can’t see myself doing it.”
“Even when he wants other girls to be his sweetheart?”
“Even when he wants other girls to be his sweetheart.”
You kick the pebbles into the broken parts of the pavement, leaning your elbows on your knees.
“I don’t know, Toru. I guess he was just the first guy who ever liked me back and then I….spent so much time in the relationship and trying to make it work that it feels weird to let it go now.”
Satoru swallows hard, eyeing his melting ice cream, as he ponders the best response. Because in earnest, he has two options. Support you or be selfish. Support you to stay with Toji, to do what you’ve been doing because he knows it’s what you want. Or be selfish. Tell you that he you deserve better, that he could be that for you if you just let him.
He reaches over, flicking you in the forehead.
“Ouch, asshole.”
“You’ve got a really big brain in there. And you always have. You’ll figure out the right thing to do, just give it time.”
And when you give him a halfhearted smile, reaching over into his cup for a bite of his ice cream, he lets it go.
He can’t be selfish. Not when it comes to you anyways.
--
After running around all day, you give yourself thirty minutes to go to Satoru’s robotics thing. After triple checking the microphones work, the yearbook team has access to the field, the glitter has been set out for everyone trickling in, and that everyone who could possibly need your phone number has it, you speed run to the other side of campus, to the robotics lab.
And when you make it, the five of them - Haibara, Nanami, Shoko, Getou, and Satoru - are in the room playing Just Dance. Shoko’s sitting on top of the desk, flippantly moving her remote in the air, while Satoru quite literally is trying to give it all he’s got - and losing apparently.
You lightly push the door open, which stops the two of them in their tracks, and you’re met with some very excited cheers as they all drag you into the room. You take a seat next to Nanami, giving his cheek a pinch, which he hates.
“You’re Haibara, right?”
“You know who I am?”
“Why wouldn’t I? You’re friends with Nanami and Nanami and I are best friends.”
“No we aren’t.” responds Nanami, now sulking two seats away from you.
“Are too.”
You throw the nearest object, a pencil at Nanami, as you turn back to Haibara and laugh.
“I like your shirt. Flight of the Navigator is a really good movie.”
You see Satoru, Shoko, and Suguru’s eyes widen in the back at your words and hear a considerable amount of groaning from Nanami behind you. And after twenty minutes, you find out why.
Haibara really, really loves Flight of the Navigator. Almost too much. In earnest, you barely remember the movie - at most, maybe the weird little alien companion he has. But here Haibara is, reciting the cast, the directors, acting out the scenes and it’s clear to you that you’ve tapped into some monster they all keep hidden.
Luckily for you, Satoru comes to your rescue.
“Okay, Haibara. I’m going to steal her for you for some Just Dance.”
“I don’t Just Dance Satoru.”
“Oh yeah? You’re just saying that because you know you’re going to lose.”
You scoff, knowing exactly what he’s doing.
“As if, sweetheart. I distinctly remember you banning us from ever playing that game together after I beat you in the fifth grade.”
“You’re rusty. Maybe we’ll start with something easy. Like Rasputin.”
“I could do Rasputin in my sleep, bitch.”
“Prove it.”
You roll your eyes as you march over to the front, where they’re projecting the game onto the screen. And just for posterity’s sake, you take Satoru’s sunglasses from where they were flipped over on the desk and put them on, effectively blinding yourself from the screen.
And when the songs start, you can hear them all laughing behind you, Satoru and you hurling insults at each other as you dance on. And somewhere around the middle, you’re sure Satoru must be losing because he grabs your hands and suddenly he’s swinging you around in the air, his hands on your waist as you laugh.
And when you take your blindfold off and the song dies down, Satoru wins by five points.
“You asshole. You literally cheated, Satoru.”
“Did not. You’re just a sore loser, bitch.”
“You kiss your mom with that mouth?”
“Every night, sweetheart.”
You put the palm of your hand in his face as you push him away, moving to sit on the desk. He joins you, the two of you now watching Haibara and Nanami have a very one sided dance battle.
After forty-five minutes, Satoru’s phone buzzes three times and the smile on his face drops when he checks. You place your hand on his, squeezing twice before asking.
“You okay?”
“Huh. Oh, yeah. I-I think you should go to the field. Right now.”
“Wait, what? But you hate that kind of-”
He grabs your hand, dragging you out, as you both start running to the field. You keep asking as he pulls you on, getting almost no response and only a faster pace.
And when you reach the field, you catch just the end of it and the only thing grounding you to that moment is Satoru and Utahime, who was surely the one who had texted Satoru, holding onto your shoulders.
Salma, the cheerleader Toji picked to be his sweetheart, just asked him to homecoming during halftime. And he said yes.
Utahime squeezes your hand three times, a soft look in her eyes when she talks.
“I’m so sorry, Y/N. I just thought you would want to know and I wanted to tell you because you’ve been nothing but nice to me.”
You smile, moving into her open arms as you whisper a small thank you into her shoulder. She leaves, having to return to the color guard team waiting for her on the side, leaving you and Satoru standing on the pavement right by the field.
“Take you home?”
“Thanks, Toru.”
“You want Jamoca?”
“Not today.”
He nods, a hand on the small of your back, as he leads you to his car, even going as far as opening the door for you and letting you crack the windows while you drive back - which you know he hates.
At the first red light, he taps on the top of your head to get your attention.
“Penny for your thoughts?”
“Do you think there’s something wrong with me?”
“What? Of course, not. Toji is just an asshat who doesn’t see you for what you’re worth and-”
“No. No, no. Not like that. Do you think there’s something wrong with me because I’m not even the tiniest bit sad right now? I’m…relieved.”
Satoru looks over, the red front the traffic light flashing on your face, and a blank expression staring back at him.
“Of course, not. He’s a grade one idiot. Anyone in your position would feel that way, bunny.”
“I know. That’s true.”
“But?”
“Does this make me defective, Satoru? Like, maybe I just can’t like people that much or something and I was the problem.”
Satoru twiddles his thumbs on the steering wheel, pondering the same question he has been asking for the past few days. Encourage her or be selfish.
He can’t be selfish with you.
“Okay, Y/N. Close your eyes.”
“Huh?”
“Just do it.”
“Okay.”
He looks over, to find you eyelids fluttering shut, your face lit up by the streetlights outside.
“Now. Tell me about your dream guy, bunny.”
“What are you going on ab-”
“Just do it.”
You sigh, before thinking hard about his question.
“Someone I can be comfortable with. That’s my type. Like we can have fun together and play games but also being around them is comforting to me. Things might suck, but at least they are there to kind of pick me up at the end of the day. They’re nice to people and are surrounded by good company, because you are who you love and they try to be better each day.”
After finishing, you open your eyes to find Satoru staring at you, an all-knowing look on his face.
“Bunny?”
“Toru?”
“Does that sound anything like Toji to you?”
You slump back into your chair, sinking down.
“No.” you murmur.
“You aren’t defective. Well, maybe in the higher level cognitive thinking part because you clearly have some impaired decision making but-”
“Hey. Don’t be rude, asshole.”
“Get out of the car.”
You crane your head out the window to see you’re in fact not at your house, but at the ice cream store. And when he comes around to your side of the car, opening your door, he drags you out, the two of you eating you ice cream in the light of the dingy lamp outside the store.
--
You knock hard on your window, only stopping when Satoru looks up from his desk, dropping the pencil he was just scribbling with. You point to your walkie talkie, switching on the channel as he grabs his.
“Hi bunny. You look nice.”
“Thank you. Are you coming tonight?”
To homecoming. Because despite all odds and last night, you still have to go. And crown the homecoming king and queen since you’re the class president, which you’re sure will be Salma and Toji since the universe is very, very kind to you.
“I’m sorry. Haibara needed help designing something for next week.”
“Oh. Okay. I wish you were.”
“I wish I was too. His hardware is Flight of the Navigator themed so wish me luck.”
You laugh, giving him one last smile as he pulls the curtains to his window. And when you see his navy windows against the pane you’ve stared at him through for years, it only now occurs to you.
When he asked you to describe that last night, he unlocked something. Bringing it to your attention, to the forefront of your mind.
The person you were describing is him. You lift your walkie talkie to your mouth, press the button, and mention the words you forgot to say.
I love you.
And then you turn on your heel and drive yourself to the dance.
--
Satoru ponders it for thirty minutes.
Support her or be selfish. Support her or be selfish. Support her or be selfish.
Be fucking selfish.
Satoru gets up, dropping the hardware he was making for Haibara, and pulls out the first suit he can find. He grabs his walkie talkie off his desk, convinces Megumi to go beg your mom (who loves Megumi) for your walkie talkie, and then goes ninety on the freeway to get to the school on time.
He finds Nanami first, the glob of gel on his head somehow even worse than normal and sets his plan in motion.
“Nanami.”
“Please, for the love of god, not tod-”
“Go hand this to Y/N.”
Nanami and now Shoko are taking the walkie in their hands, flipping it over and inspecting it like they’re the fucking FBI. And more importantly, wasting time.
Three feet away, you’re standing by the punch table, counting how many balloons are on the ceiling. You reach three hundred and fifteen when you’re approached for the first time that night, by Nanami and Shoko.
“Nanami. What is going on with your hair? You can’t possibly need that much hair gel.”
“You would be shocked, Y/N.”
“That's what I said to him too. But this is for you.” Shoko says.
She hands you your walkie talkie, the silver glitter coming off on your hand, as you flip it over.
“Did you break into my house, Shoko?”
“No. But I’m guessing Satoru did. He ran in here five minutes ago and basically yelled at us to give it to you.”
They both shrug as they walk away and you look around, clutching the walkie talkie so hard in your hand you think you might break it. Satoru’s here.
And when you scan your eyes around the room, you see him at the front door, his eyes already fixed on yours. He’s smiling so big that it makes your heart squelch and suddenly you’re moving towards him. And as you both start walking (running) to each other, you can’t help but feel the anticipation of what’s coming.
Except that’s right when Toji stands in the middle of the two of you, his characteristic slimy, sneer on his face. He reaches for your hand first.
“Can we talk, Y/N?”
"No."
You shrug your hand off, pushing right past him, as you walk closer to Satoru. You can hear Toji shouting something at you, but you’re too tunnel visioned on Satoru to pay attention. And when you reach him, you’re both smiling so big at each other, that it makes your face hurt.
He lifts his walkie talkie to his mouth, talking first.
“Come in, bunny?”
“Loud and clear, Toru.”
“I love you.”
You can feel yourself smiling so big, so excited that you’re basically jumping on your toes, your walkie shaking in your hand.
“I love you.”
“Oh thank god. I was scared I was going to get a breaking and entering charge.”
You laugh, pulling him down by his tie and kissing him square on his face. And when he pulls away, ears pink and face red, you whisper against his lips.
“It was always going to be you. I belong with you.”
He smiles, that stupid smile you’ve stared at, loved for years and you can’t help but cheese, leaning forward to kiss him again.

What's Wrong With A Cliché?
Eddie Munson x Fem reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You had never been to a school dance before. So when you find out about the winter formal, you figure your hellfire friends would be just as excited. What you don't expect is to be mocked, especially by Eddie. Eddie loves to tease you, he never realises when he takes it to far. This was he way of flirting with you, even if you didn't know that. But maybe this time he's gone too far, when he might not be the one to take you to the dance.
Content Warning: use of y/n, a lot of angst, mean Eddie, fluff.
Word count : 5k (wow sorry)
A/n: I am from England so I've never been to a dance, so anything I got wrong I'm sorry. Also I know it says fem reader but feel free to change things when reading so it fits you.
Not prove read
You've never been to a school dance before, so when you hear about the winter formal you were so excited. Despite being part of the “freaks” table you lovedressing up. Even if your group leader always teases you about it, you didn’t mind but sometimes he could go too far without realising, but you always tried to be forgiving and not cause an issue. After all, you were a newer member of the group, well you had joined a few months ago but everyone else had longer on you, even the freshman. You figure this might be the one time Eddie wouldn’t tease you too much, everyone went to the prom even the nerds that’s what happened in the movies. You place your lunch tray on the table excited to talk about the dance. They were all talking about a new Metallica album, so you wait until they are finished to talk about the dance.
You pick at your food, resting your head on your hand waiting and listening for an opening to speak, but they don’t stop. You could just talk to them about it tomorrow you thought. Everyone laughs at Eddie’s air drum solo, while laughing, Gareth, who is sitting next to you accidentally nudges your elbow, causing you to lose balance and nearly face-plant the food. The noise causes the table to look at you. “Jesus Gareth you nearly made her wear her food, I know she likes fashion but I don’t know if a sloppy joe top counts as high fashion” Eddie jokes like it’s hilarious, you just roll your eyes.
You expect them to go back to their conversation but now Eddie's eyes are on you he wouldn’t leave you alone. “Why are you so quiet?”. You shrug your shoulders “I was waiting”. Chris looks at you confused “waiting for what?”. Everyone’s eyes bore into you “waiting for you to finish your conversation, I didn’t want to interrupt”. Gareth smiles at you, “you’re never interrupting”. Eddie laughs a little but says nothing much to your surprise. “So what’s up?”. You smile “well..” you suddenly felt a little nervous, so you spoke softly “everyone’s talking about the dance, so I was gonna say we could get a limo or something and all go together or we could go separate if you have dates” you rambled.
The table fell silent. You look around. Had you said something wrong? Eddie shot up from his seat and found his way over to you. Holding onto your shoulders he gestures to the group in front of you. “Sweetheart if you wanted the popular table you are very lost”. You turn around as much as you could with his grip still on your shoulders, to face him. “Huh” you were truly lost what did the popular kids have to do with this? It’s not like you wanted to be prom queen. “God I thought you only dressed like them, now you are starting to sound like them”. Eddie put on a ridiculously high voice and let go of your shoulders to put on a show for his sheep. Skipping around the group to mock you, “Gareth don’t you think I have the prettiest dress? Chris, should I wear blue eye shadow or turquoise? Omg Jeff what about my nails, I can’t go to the prom without my nails done. Freshmen will you vote for me to be queen” the boys laugh (even the freshman, but mostly because they want to fit in not because they agree), like this is the most hilarious thing they have ever heard. He finds his way back to his seat “don’t be a cliche y/n”.
You felt a lump in your throat and you knew tears were about to pour. You didn’t want them to see you cry so got up from your seat, “see you at hellfire” you say, leaving the cafeteria. Gareth being forever the caring one looks at Eddie, “you took it too far”. He put his hands up “I didn’t force you all to laugh”, the group looked guilty. They thought it was friendly banter they didn’t think you were being serious about the dance. The hellfire club and school activities didn’t go together, so they didn’t know this was different for you. They had never had a girl in the group, they were still learning.
Gareth looks at Eddie and then the group “yeah and I shouldn’t have. I can admit when I’m wrong, can you?”. Eddie raises his eyebrow at the boy. No one questioned the dungeon master, so honestly, Eddie was surprised and kind of impressed, not that he would show it. “Watch it” Eddie sternly told the boy. Gareth rolls his eyes at Eddie, well this was new. “If she wants to go, one of us is going to have to take her”. The boys grumble, “shall we draw straws, shortest has to take her?”. Gareth hit his friend in the arm “grow up Jeff, is it such a bad thing to take a pretty girl to a dance? Jesus I’ll take her”. Chris kicks the boy’s leg under the table, he whispers harshly at him “don’t be a creep. You can’t call her pretty” the way he says this, is like it’s some kind of taboo subject. Chris looks to Eddie to back him up, who stays quiet, looking like he is contemplating something.
Gareth kicks back “you know just because she’s our friend doesn’t make her any less attractive. Plus I didn’t mean it like that, I’m just saying it’s not the worst thing. I swear to god you’re all like freaky freshmen”.  Dustin and Mike look over to the conversation they had been trying to stay out of “hey!” Gareth looks over to them “no offence”. Eddie suddenly slams his ringed hands on the table, to get control and order back. “Enough! If one of us has to take her it’s gonna be me, that’s the job of the leader to take one for the team, right?” He looks around the table. “But you all owe me.”
Gareth was right Eddie thought there was nothing wrong with taking a pretty girl to a dance especially if it was you. He didn’t know you actually wanted to go, he was only teasing if you had only asked. He might have grumbled but he would have agreed eventually. He always teased you, and you always took it, never said anything, sometimes your hands would ball into tiny fists and you would have a little pout which Eddie found cute which he wouldn’t admit because finding things cute wasn’t metal. But he didn’t mean to upset you. Maybe asking you would make things right, even if that meant putting his pride on the line. He couldn’t do it straight away, he thought, because then it would seem like he was doing it because he felt bad.
You had a free period now, where you were working on a history project with Ross, who sat next to you. All you could think about was Eddie’s impression, did you sound like that? You didn’t realise you were daydreaming until Ross clears his throat, “you okay?”. He was always so kind to you. which made it easy to talk to him, and right now you needed someone who would listen and not judge. Especially if he cares enough to ask if you’re okay. “Is wanting to go to the dance, stupid?”. He wasn’t sure if you were making a joke or not, but from the look on your face, you were serious. “It can’t be that stupid if everyone goes. I think it’s nice” you sigh in relief, you aren’t weird “exactly!” You realise you’re too loud, looking around and apologising. “it’s just I’ve never been to one before and I thought it would be nice”.
Ross put his hand on yours trying to calm you “it will be” he smiles. He blushes as your hands touch, he’s had the hugest crush on you since you started school a couple of months ago. He moves his hand realising he’s being too forward, especially since he assumed you have a thing with Eddie. “For some people, it will be. I don’t think it’s gonna happen for me anytime soon.” You start doodling in your notebook, you don’t want to cry again over this so you try and distract yourself. “What?”
You keep your eyes on the book in front of you, while speaking “well I don’t exactly wanna go alone and I know like 7 people and since none, of those, are gonna ask. I think I’m gonna have to give it a pass”. Ross thought you and Eddie would have gone together, otherwise, he would have at least tried to ask you. Surely Munson wasn’t stupid enough not to ask you, he thought, but he had to Clarify, “not even Munson?”.
You look up from your notebook laughing as if it was the funniest thing you’d heard all day. It might have been “not even Munson are you kidding? could you imagine him going to a dance? You should have heard him when I mentioned it to everyone. I swear sometimes that boy can be so mean”. You shook your head at the thought of lunch, and focus your eyes back on the paper in front of you. “so you’re not going with him”. You didn’t need to keep being reminded you weren’t going to the dance, you understood he was just showing interest and that he cared. But you were sick of this and especially sick of talking about Eddie. “I am absolutely not going with Edward Munson”.  Ross smiles goofily at you, not that you can see as you are too distracted trying to get the shading right on the eye you were drawing. “Good”. He says You look at him thinking you heard him say something. “I’m sorry about the dance”. You give him a light smile, he was a nice guy, even if he didn’t know when to stop with questions. “it’s fine, shall we get on with this?”. He picks his pen up off the table “sure”.
You went to hellfire that night but hardly said a word, the boys tried to apologise, it didn’t feel that sincere but at least they knew to apologise. “We’re sorry,” they say mumbling, “we didn’t know how much it meant”. It was nice that they said sorry but it didn’t make you any less upset especially when Eddie refuses to apologise. What you didn’t know was he was overthinking to the max, how was he supposed to say sorry? Would you believe him? If he started being nice would you realise he fancied you, which meant you could reject him? So with all these thoughts going around his head, he kept quiet. Figuring asking you in a few days would show he was sorry.
Two days later, You were starting to put the whole dance thing behind you, well you were trying but it was hard when that was all anyone in school was talking about. Even the boys had started to talk about it to you, which felt like a slap in the face if none of them were going to take you. You had your Walkman on listening to a mixtape Eddie had made you full of his favourite bands Metallica, Dio, Black Sabbath, a few others and your favourite song “come on Eileen”. He told you he did this so you would listen to the tape, at the time you wondered if Eddie liked you as you liked him, but over time you learnt from how he teased you, he saw you strictly platonically, you were just one of the guys. So whatever feeling you thought you had got ignored.
Walking up to your locker you notice a flower in the vent, surely this was put in the wrong locker. You get closer and pull it out to inspect it,  looking at the flower confused. You were sure you had never told anyone what your favourite flower was, maybe it was just a coincidence. It was probably a cliché flower that all girls like. That's all you thought were after all. A tap on your shoulder pulls you out of your thoughts. You turn around and see Ross with a huge bouquet of your favourite flowers with a little white teddy nestled in the middle. Other people are watching in the corridor including Eddie and Gareth who are talking at his locker. Upon the sight, Eddie clenches his fist the knuckles going white from the pressure. You smile brightly at Ross, he was a good guy, he must be trying to cheer you up after the other day you thought.
“oh my God, those are beautiful. They are actually my favourite” you say with glee. Ross looks at you with admiration “I know that's why I got them” he says while handing them over to you. You can’t help the rosy hue that comes on your cheeks. “ you shouldn't have but also thank you”. You say while hugging him, careful not to crumple the flowers “what are they for though?”. The boy rubs his neck awkwardly, hoping you couldn’t tell how nervous he was “well I guess partly an apology for not asking sooner and for assuming you already had a date” you couldn't understand what was happening. nothing like this had ever happened to you.
“Do you wanna go to the winter formal with me?”. You froze, could this be happening? Were all those tears worth it, now you were getting to go the dance. Someone wanted to go to the dance with you, they didn’t have to be forced. So in your head with your thoughts, you didn’t even realise you had left the boy standing there awkwardly waiting for an answer. “It doesn't have to be a date if you don'-“ you cut him off, realising you took too long to reply. “well I hope it’s a date, otherwise you got me all excited for nothing”. You can’t stop smiling at the man in front of you, was he always this handsome and you hadn’t noticed? His eyes widened, he couldn’t believe his luck the girl he liked wanted to go out with him, “So that's a yes”. You nod your head “that's a yes”. He can’t help himself, so he hugs you tight, wanting to kiss you with happiness but knowing that was too forward. “Thank you” he whispers into your ear making you giggle.
Eddie had been getting angrier the more he watched the scene in front of him. How dare he touch you, or make you laugh, or buy you flowers. He knew he was torturing himself watching, but he couldn’t look away. Steam might as well have been coming out of Eddie’s ears with how mad he was. However his friend at the side of him had a completely different complexion on his face, he was merry, and he loved seeing his friends happy. “well looks like she didn't need our help after all”. He joked to Eddie, not yet seeing how annoying he was, as he too couldn’t keep his eyes off the scene. Silence, he expected Eddie to make a signature witty remark, or laugh or something, anything but there was nothing. He looked over to his friend who looked as if he was going to beat someone up. He tried to fill the silence. “At least now your Saturday night is all free. Dnd session?”.
Eddie still couldn’t take his eyes off the sight, now glaring at not just at Ross but you too. Completely ignoring anything his younger friend was saying. Gareth couldn’t understand why he would be so annoyed about this, now he had his evening free. He never wanted to go to the formal. The only reason he would be this annoyed if he fancied… oh it now all made sense to the boy, the constant teasing, wanting to be the one to take her, always wanting her around. Never shut up talking about her. The school bell rings signalling the start of class, so you leave a parting gift of a kiss on Ross’s cheek. This was the thing that set Eddie over the edge, he stormed off in a huff, almost forgetting Gareth was even there.
Since that day you and Eddie had hardly spoken in fact, Eddie had hardly spoken at all. Which was very strange of him. You stop mentioning the dance as you knew it was a sore spot for the group plus now you had a date to talk to about all the details. Who didn’t seem to mind how long you talked about dress or plans for the night, he just liked hearing you talk. Despite how happy you should be, Something was keeping you awake at night, maybe it was nerves, who knew but you felt like something was missing.
You are Walking hand in hand with Ross through the gym doors, in your pink simplistic but beautiful dress with your date with a black suit and a pink tie. For once you felt like you belonged in this school, you weren’t the awkward girl who couldn’t get dates. You were a beautiful teenage girl going to a school dance with a handsome boy. Cliche or not, you were happy.
You danced to all the cheesy music on the dance floor with Ross and his friends until your feet ached. It was fine when it was a slow song because you could hold on to Ross for support but now it was faster music you knew you need a rest. “I need to sit down”, Ross nods leading you to a table near the dance floor, he went to sit down with you. You shook your head and held onto his arm to stop him, “dance, have fun. I’ll be fine. I’ll be back in 10” you smile. He didn’t want to leave you but how could he say no when looking into your beautiful eyes.
You looked around the room, everyone looked so nice. They had transformed the gym surprisingly well, you would never be able to tell there were kids doing laps around here only 48 hours prior. There wasn’t any drama tonight, it’s almost like this one night everyone just wanted to celebrate and didn’t care about social standards, which was nice.  You didn’t realise how many standards have been changed until you spotted the last person you’d expect to be here with a cheerleader. She wasn’t one of the most popular cheerleaders but she was still part of the group, he said he despised. Who’s the cliché now you thought bitterly. You shook your head, you had no right to be mean just because he didn’t want to go with you. You supposed he could go with someone else even if that hurt to admit.
The cheerleader huffed at him and walked away, that didn’t take long. You didn’t know what he said but she was pissed. He was your friend, so hurt or not you had to go and check on him. You walk over to him. He looks up to see you walking towards him, he thinks he must have died and gone to heaven because the only way to describe you was angelic. He was such a fool for not asking you, he knew that now more than ever. He really liked you, and he wouldn’t deny that to himself anymore. Not when you were that perfect and not even just look-wise. You sat down in the plastic seat next to him, be cool he told himself.
He looked handsome in his black shirt and black jeans with his hair in a low bun. It was nice seeing him outside of his usual attire, you wanted to tell him how nice he looked, but this look wasn’t for you it was for her. “So Chris talked you out of the blue eyeshadow?” You joke to Eddie. He was beyond confused, it didn’t help that he couldn’t think straight when you look that beautiful. You soon realised he didn’t have a clue what you were talking about, A situation which has been tormenting your thoughts for weeks and he couldn’t even remember it. “Your flattering impression of me” you joked like it didn’t still kind of sting.
Eddie sunk into his seat at the thought of that day, he should have just asked you as soon as you mentioned it instead of teasing you. No, he should have asked you as soon as the winter formal was announced. Why did he have to have the Munson curse of stubbornness? He looks at you sincerely, a twinkle of sadness in his eyes “I’m sorry”. You are shocked, so you bring the back of your hand to Eddie’s head, the action causing Eddie’s heart to beat. It felt so loud he wondered if you could hear it. “Are you okay? You’re acting strange, first the dance and now you’re apologising. You must be sick”.
He laughs slightly moving your hand from his face hoping it will help his heart to stop, but it didn’t. “Sorry is in my vocabulary, it’s just I don’t always say it when I should. Also I knew I would end up here one way or another”. You gave him the strangest look, maybe this wasn’t Eddie in front of you, he certainly wasn’t acting like the man from a few weeks ago who thought a dance was the most stupid thing he had ever heard of. “What?”. He shrugs his shoulder like what he was about to say was the most casual thing ever “ just not who I thought I’d be going with”. Surely he wasn’t talking about you, no he couldn’t be. He probably meant someone else. You thought your crush on him had stopped, but the world was really testing you tonight.
You couldn’t possibly look at him right now, so you scan the room for his date. “yeah, maybe you should have at least taken someone you like, even as a friend”. He nods, he was gonna shoot his shot, he had already fucked up so he surely couldn’t anymore. “Well, I was planning on taking you so…”. You choke on air, he wasn’t making any sense, had he gotten high before this, was that why he was acting like this? “you wouldn’t stop telling me how stupid it was, that I was a cliché”.
He played with the rings on his fingers, both of you avoiding eye contact with each other. “Yeah, but looking at your face, when you left. I kind of thought I had to”. He wanted to slap himself, why was he so awkward, maybe it was better this way never truly confessing how he felt stopped him from getting hurt. “Well turns out you didn’t have to”. You say signalling to your date. You're happy, who was he to get in the way he thought. But his mouth was quicker than his head and he spoke “true. But if he didn’t ask, I would have taken you”.
Whatever this game was, your heart couldn’t deal with it, you needed the Eddie who teased you back, he was easier to read than this one who wouldn’t even look at you. Maybe if you start it, he would come back with one of his quick remarks. “I wouldn’t have wanted to go with you anyways, you would have been telling me how lame and stupid it was all night. And you'd complain about having to wear a shirt” you joked, lightly hitting his arm hoping he would look at you.
No, you had the completely wrong idea about him, being with you wasn’t a chore, he would have been lucky. He needed you to know that. “I wouldn’t have. I would do anything to make you happy, so if that would have meant spending a night dancing to terrible music and having to wear a shirt. I would have and would have been happy.” He finally glances up and truly looks at you. “I’ll always do anything for you, I hope you know that”. You had never seen the look on his face before or maybe you had never noticed. “You look beautiful by the way, I’m sorry that should have been the first thing I said”.
Now you were the one with heart problems but you had the added problem of butterflies. You were gonna be sick, this couldn’t be real. You had a date you weren’t allowed to feel this way about someone else. Someone who is your friend, someone who also has a date. You needed to get out of there before your heart took control of your actions instead of your head. “I should probably get back to Ross”.
He felt his heart shatter he always knew you’d have to leave, but for you to go back to someone who should have been him, hurt. “Yeah, of course, have a good night. I'm probably gonna head home early”. You shook your head even if that might have been easier for your heart. He had already come with a pretty girl, who you were sure was nice if he decided to bring her. So even if you couldn’t have him, you didn’t mind as long as he was happy. “Give her a chance, you never know you could enjoy yourself if you keep your mouth shut for two seconds” you joke and walk away to find your date.
If that’s what you wanted he would listen, even if all he wanted was to dance with you. So he went in search of his date, Alice. He found her sitting glumly on a bench sipping punch, he sat down next to her. She deserved better than this, cheerleader or not. “I’m sorry, we should be out there dancing and I’m here pinning over someone who doesn’t even like me. I’m truly sorry, you deserve better than Edward Munson”. She shrugs her shoulders “I knew you didn’t like me, it’s my fault”.  He couldn’t hurt someone else, she did not deserve this. “No I’m the stupid one here, you’re beautiful, and any guy would be lucky to have you. I’m just unfortunately stupidly in love with someone else”. Alice held his hand to comfort him, he was trying to be honest and she appreciates it. Not many guys she knew, did that. “Have you told her?”. He laughs a little at the thought. “No, I missed my chance”. He signals to you on the dance floor with Ross, swaying to a slow song.
You felt like you could cry but that wasn’t fair on Ross. You should be happy, he was so lovely, he was good for you. Ross couldn't help but notice the eyes of Eddie that were locked on you from across the room. He look at you smiling, he wasn't the guy you should be with he knew that now. Especially when he could see the hurt that lay beneath the fake smile you wore. “Was Eddie okay?”. Of course, he saw that “yeah he’s fine” how were you supposed to describe what happened? “I like you y/n I do, but I’m not stupid. You like him”. You want to deny this, so you try to stutter out a response but you can't form words. “It’s okay, I understand, you can’t control your heart. You both like each other, so just because he’s stubborn doesn’t mean you should be”.  You kissed him on the cheek, god he was nice. “Thank you, you don’t hate me right?”. He smiles “I could never hate you, plus it would make history pretty awkward”. He jokes.
Ross looks over to the bench where the cheerleader and freak were sitting. “Now there’s a girl over there who looks like she needs a dance, hopefully, you can help the other one to finally smile”. He left to walk towards the pair. Eddie saw Ross walking over to them, was he mad? Had you told him what he had said? Did he go too far saying you were beautiful? He didn’t want to fight but he was ready to defend himself if a punch was thrown. Ross reached out his hand, and Eddie flinches waiting for impact. But nothing, because Ross’s hand wasn’t meant for him, it was meant for his date.
He held his hand out expectantly “do you wanna dance? I kind of got ditched by my date.” Alice nods and got up to dance with him. Before she left to turns to Eddie "tell her" and with that, she left. Were you okay? Did you ditch Ross, because of Eddie? Did Eddie upset you again? He didn’t want to ruin your night. You sat on the bench next to him. There was a beat of silence what would you say to each other? You were the first to break the ice. “You look beautiful too by the way” you smile at him. “Thanks” heat rises to his cheeks. “I’m sorry if I ruined your night”.
You shook your head, “it’s not over yet, so it can’t be ruined, well I guess it depends on how you answer next. Will you go to the winter-“ he put his hand on your mouth. “No I was supposed to ask that. Will you go to the dance with me?”. You licked his hand to get him to move it which worked “does it matter who asked who first?”. He nodded “yeah because I really wanted to ask the girl I like to a dance”. You blush. “Well I really wanted to ask the boy I like to a dance”. Without thinking he grabs your face and kisses you. Taken by surprise it takes you a second to kiss back. When you finally both stop for the air you are both smiling like Cheshire cats. “I wish I would have told you before, then I could have done that a lot sooner”. You nod. “So do I?”.
Come On Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners comeson over the speakers, “are you gonna ask me to dance or am I gonna have to do that too” you joke. He playfully hits your shoulder standing up, holding out his hand to you. “ Would you like to join me to dance to my favourite song Mylady”. You reach out to hold onto his hand. “This is my favourite song”.  He shakes his head “ anything that makes me think of you is my favourite”.

Lights flash lighting up the sky. The air smells like sweat and funnel cakes. "This place smells disgusting" your best friend Emma says. You roll my eyes as you continue to walk passing various stands, food trucks, and rides"
"Can we just go?" Emma asks, grabbing onto your arm.
"Unlike you I actually came here to get on the rides." Emma lets out a whine. "But it's nasty here," she complains. You shake your head "the boys are going to be here any minute." You tell her as you continue to drag her further into the carnival.
It's autumn here now and the annual carnival is in town. It comes every fall and it is always on your fall bucket list. This year Emma decided she was going to come with you. Now thinking about it she probably only agreed because Draken said he would be here.
Emma perks up slightly at the mention of the boys coming, excited to see Draken. We walk around for a few more minutes before Emma points him out in the crowd. Walking over to meet him he brought Nahoya with him. Letting out a sigh you follow Emma over dreading this evening now.
Nahoya wraps his arms around your waist laying claim to you. You aren't together, not anymore but he has to let every guy here now you are still his. He plants a kiss to the side of your head and you shutter away. "Hey baby" He says As he squeezes your side. " Can we talk?" He asks. you tell him not here but he convinces you, dragging you away from the group of friends.
He stops walking in front of a fun house. You can hear music and screaming coming from it's fog seeps out of the opening. People are lined up waiting to get in. "Let's stop this little charade and get back to the way things used to be" Nahoya says As he looks at you. "What charade Nahoya? We broke up" you say. He shakes his head and clicks his tongue. "You and I both know that was just a little break. I gave you your space now it's time to come home" you shake your head.
"We broke up Nahoya. We aren't getting back together." You and Nahoya were high-school sweethearts. Dating from freshman year all the way through college. You decided to end things wanting to start new after graduation. Nahoya didn't take it well. He grips your shoulders "We can fix it" He says shaking your head you tell him there is no fixing it. His grip on your shoulders gets tighter causing you to jump slightly. "Listen here" He starts to say being he is cut off.
"Hey!" A deep lazy voice yells from the side coming from the direction of the fun house. It's empty now. A guy with long hair striped in blonde and purple is leaning up against the fun house, his arms crossed over his chest as a cigarette rests in the side of his mouth. His feet are crossed one over the other. He's staring at Nahoya.
"You have a problem, buddy?" Nahoya asks, turning away from you to look at the guy. His fists are clenched. Nahoya had a bad temper. He was always in fights in school.
"No problem, buddy" the man says, putting emphasis on the word buddy. "But it looks like she has a problem with your grabbing her" He continues. Nahoya goes to take a step forward. You grab his arm knowing this isn't going to end well. "Just let it go" you say trying to pull Nahoya back towards you. "Did you hear what this fuck said?" Anger fills Nahoyas voice. If he wasn't always smiling you'd think the nicknames him and his brother have should be the opposite. Nahoya gets angry easily while Souya is a sweetheart.
"It doesn't matter" you say "let's go back to Draken and Emma" pulling on his arm trying to get him to go he jerks his arm away from you throwing them in the air. "Whatever," He says, as he storms in the direction of your friends. You let out a sign looking down at the ground. You turn your head towards the fun house, wanting to thank the man, but he is gone. You walk over to where he was leaning against it and decide there aren't many places he could run off to. He's either inside or behind it.
The need to thank him overtakes you as you decide to go behind the building looking for him. Behind the fun house is dark and quiet. The screams from inside the house died down. You look around and see the man leaning against a wall lighting another cigarette.
"Hey" you say, voice coming out smaller than you'd like.
He looks up at you. "Employees only back here" He says pushing off the wall walking past you back towards the front, smoke hitting you in the face as he passes.
"I wanted to thank you" you say and he stops not turning around. "Not necessary," He says, then continues to walk. You walk towards him. He's at the front again, standing by the booth to collect tickets. "But it is necessary. You didn't have to say anything, " you tell him as you come to stop beside him. He glances at you. "Well, you thanked me. Bye. " He turns away, fingers drumming on the booth.
"Hey–"
"Look I don't make it a habit of involving myself with other people's relationships. I also don't make it a habit of babysitting damsels in distress. So if you don't mind please fuck of–" He looks at you and shit are you gorgeous. Your face is eliminated by the red lights the fun house is giving off. Fuck your perfect. He thinks.
"Damsel in distress? Hmm does this mean you're my knight in shining armor?" You ask, throwing him a smile.
"Nope, no knight here. Just a guy trying to get back to work" he says, turning away again.
"Because you're so busy" you say motioning towards the front of the fun house that is lacking in people. He rolls his eyes. "What's your name?" You ask in a sweet voice.
"Wakasa" He says after a few seconds pass. You smile at him, giving him your name. " that guy you saved me from is my ex Nahoya. He's not dealing with the break up well"
"No shit" Wakasa says you take a few steps towards him. "How did someone like you end up working here?" You ask "you don't look–"
"Like a carnie?" He finishes your sentence.
"I didn't mean it in a bad way. I just mean you don't look like the others" you say
A few heartbeats pass before Wakasa speaks up again. "The carnival is one of the only jobs that doesn't do background checks. Most people wouldn't hire someone with a record like mine" Wakasa says not meeting your gaze. You go to open your mouth to respond. Mouth wanting to ask what he did but mind telling you not to.
You hear your name being yelled and then an angry Emma is storming towards you. She grabs your arm "what the hell are you doing?" She asks as she looks between you and Wakasa. "Talking to my new friend" you say, smiling at her. "This is Wakasa. Wakasa this is my best friend Emma"
"Nahoya is pissed. Like fuming. I swear I can see smoke coming from his ears." You sigh "come on let's go. The boys want to go out to eat and this place is giving me the creeps." Emma says "No offense" Wakasa looks at her and shrugs "none taken" Emma and you go back and forth for a few minutes. You don't want to leave.
"Look, my cars here just go with Draken. I can meet up with you guys later." You say
"I'm not leaving you here with this weird ass dude at this janky carnival. What is he kidnaps you?" Emma says
"No offense, right?" Wakasa says. Emma shoots him a glare. "No, offense very much intended. Now come on, we are going to meet up with Mikey and Baji" you move from your position next to Emma, backing up slightly towards Wakasa.
"You can't be serious, you know what fine! But when he kidnaps you and your picture is on the side of a milk carton, don't come crying to me!" Emma yells as she storms away.
It's quiet for a few moments. "Should I be worried about you kidnapping me Wakasa? You did mention you have a criminal record"
He laughs and smirks at me "not at all, princess" a heartbeat passes before he adds "unless you're into that kind of thing" he adds with a wink.
Your entire body goes off with alarm bells. Telling me to run. Somehow your compelled to stay. "It's dark and quiet back here, princess. Pretty easy for me to snatch you up. No one would be able to hear your screams over the rides." Wakasa says As he stomps out his cigarette. You mouth drops as I stare at him.
"That was a joke"
"Really though, princess. You should listen to your friend and go. We're closing soon and it won't be a joke when one of these fucks snatches you up."
Your heart thumps in my chest. "You'll protect me though"
“You really have a lot of faith in a stranger,” He says.
“How much for the fun house?” You ask. “Two” You hand him two tickets and start walking towards the fun house. “Enjoy” he says, looking bored as you enter.
Once inside the music is loud and it is hard to see. The room is filled with fog and the lights are flashing. After you take a couple of steps a voice comes on an intercom. “Welcome to Spites fun house” And voices of children saying “Come play with me” and singing ‘ring around the rosie’ repeat over and over. You hear loud bangs and the sound of glass shattering. It’s cold here. Colder than outside in the October air. You continue walking further into the fun house, bumping into things as you try to make your way. You find a room and enter. It's full of mirrors, all broken. It looks like a dressing room. Clown costumes covered in red, you assume, are meant to be blood and thrown around. The red paint is covering some mirrors. You turn to a vanity and see the mirror is smashed with writing on the mirror in the same red color that looks like it was done with someone's finger.
“Look what you’ve done to me.”
“Is this what I look like?”
Cover the little bit of mirror that isn’t shattered. You back out of the room and back into the main part of the fun house. That was a dead end anyway. You walk further into the fun house pumping into things every once in a while. There are fake windows with ripped up curtains and fake doors leading to a wall. You feel a shiver run up your spine. You’re pretty sure you’re the only one in here right now. The voices on the intercom come back on louder this time. You must be close to the speakers. The lights continue to flash making it hard to navigate in the fog covered room.
After several minutes of walking around, bumping into everything, and opening many false doors you finally make it to the end of the fun house. Leaving you see Wakasa leaning up against the wall with another cigarette in his mouth. “Have fun?” He asks, smirking at you with a tilt of his head. “I think that was creepier being alone.”
“Princess, if that scared you then this is no place to be after closing.” You check your watch. “11:45pm”
“What time does it close again?” you ask “midnight. Rides already closed down for the night” You nod “Um, do you think you could walk me to my car?” You ask. Wakasa raises a brow but then shakes his head. “Can’t leave the fun house. You’d be surprised how many people like to try and sneak in after hours.” people actually try to sneak into this place? You think to yourself. You hate to admit it but it freaked you out more than you'd like to admit. That’s why you asked him to walk you to your car. “You’d be shocked how many times we catch people trying to fuck”
You wrinkle your nose. “Who would want to have sex in that thing?” You say shivering at the thought of someone taking you in there. Wakasa shrugs his shoulders. “You can fuck anywhere if you want it bad enough” He says in his deep lazy voice, You feel your face warm. How did you end up talking about sex with a complete stranger? And not just any strangers but an extremely hot carnival worker. “I guess you’re right” “I know I am, princess” He responds with a wink.
“You should go.” He says checking his watch. “What if I don’t want to?” You asking smiling at him. Wakasa sighs as he shifts on his feet. “I’m not like your little boy toy, princess. I wasn’t kidding when I told you I have a record. I work in a god damn traveling circus for fuck sake.” He grabs your chin tilting your head toward his. He’s close. So close you can feel his breath fan your face. The smell of nicotine overwhelms you. “Whatever little fantasy or kink your trying to live out by fucking around with me isn’t going to end well for you. I’m not someone you want to be involved with.”
Everything he is saying is true. He is telling you exactly who he is but you don’t care. You feel drawn to him. Your body fills with need and for a moment you don’t recognize yourself. This isn’t like you. You don’t do these things. “Now run along. I need to close up” He says, releasing your chin and backing away. You suck in a breath you didn’t realize you were holding.
Something flickers in your eyes. It’s there and then gone so fast Wakasa couldn’t tell what it was. If he wasn’t watching you so closely he would have missed it. You tell him how you never do anything reckless. How you always tried to be perfect. That’s how you ended up with Nahoya in the first place. All the girls in school had crushes on him and you wanted the perfect boyfriend to fit into your perfect little life.
“I want to know what it’s like to do something bad” You say, taking a step closer to him. He sucks in a breath. You’re so close he can smell you. He can’t put his finger on what exactly the scent is but he knows you smell sweet. It’s intoxicating. He feels his cock twitch. He knows he shouldn’t but all his senses went right to his dick. His cock is screaming at him to give you exactly what you’re asking for, and who is he to argue with it,
“Get inside” He says jerking his head towards the fun house.
“What?” You ask, eyes widening, voice coming out almost as a squeak.
“Get inside and don’t come out till I say.” You stare at him.
“Understand?” You take a step back thinking and just turning and running to your car. “Wakasa-” He cuts you off before you can finish your sentence. He points towards the fun house. “ I told you to leave, I told you I’m not someone you want to mess around with. This is your final warning. You either walk in there and wait for me or you turn around and go back to your perfect little life and forget about me.”
You chew on your lip going back and forth with yourself. The rational side of you tell you to listen to him and leave but the slick building up in your heat is telling you to stay. To stay and find out. That you want this.
“If you’re still here when I get back, then I promise you I’ll give you exactly what you want. You want to forget about your perfect little life? I’ll make you forget your own name by the time I’m done with you.”
Tumblr media
Wakasa left to turn in the tickets he collected. He never understood why the guy running things wanted the tickets so bad. He always said something about wanting to see what rides are doing the best. Wakasa didn’t care. He just wanted to get back to you. To see if you stayed. Once he turned them in he was racing back towards the fun house.
She won’t be there. He thought to himself. She left.
He pictures you standing there when the reality of the situation finally dawns on you. You’ll turn around and run to your car, out of his life. Girls like you don’t mess around with guys like him. It’s how it’s always been and he doesn’t see that changing with you. He lets out a sigh. As he shoves his hands in his pockets. She probably panicked once I left and made a run for it, he thinks. She’s probably in her car right now heading back to her perfect life with that orange headed weirdo.
A part of Wakasa considered not even going back to the fun house but back to his trailer. He didn’t want to walk all the way across the carnival again just to be met with the fact that you left.
He passed families and couples gathered around various carnival games. Dads trying to win prizes for their kids and boys trying to impress the girls they are with by winning the biggest teddy bear. Wakasa chucked to himself knowing the games were rigged. They are set so no one wins. Or at least it's extremely difficult to. The carnival didn’t make money by giving away prizes. They made money by conning people into trying to win the prizes.
I should just go home, forget about her. He thinks to himself. Just go take a shower and call it a night. The fun house comes into view and he feels a familiar heat in his gut. Fuck I walked all the way over here and she left I’m going to be pissed, He thinks. He pulls out a cigarette and lights it as he walks into the fun house. He doesn’t see or hear anything. Letting out a sigh and turning around to go home he blows smoke out his nose. He’s almost to the entrance when you grab his wrist pulling him back slightly. His eyes widen and he twists his hand so he has your wrist now. He turns towards you grabbing your other wrist and backing up slamming you against the wall and holding both your wrist above your head.
“You sure?” He asks lips ghosting over yours, his voice is low. You nod and he drops his cigarette, stomping it out. “You have to tell me if this is too much. If you need me to stop.” You nod again, a small whimper escaping your lips. He takes one of his hands and runs it up your throat, to your jaw. He grabs your chin and runs his thumb over your bottom lip. Your tongue darts out licking his thumb. He pushes it into your mouth and you start to suck on it, nipping ever once in a while.
Fuuuck
He pulls his thumb out tracing it down your body when he reaches the buttons on your pants, undoing them with ease. He slips his hand inside.
“Shit”
You're soaked.
“Is it this easy to turn you on? Huh, I shouldn’t be surprised. Nahoya doesn’t seem like the type of guy to know how to use his dick. Has he ever fucked you the way you deserve, princess?”
Your breath catches in your throat. Whimpering at his words. His cock twitches as he runs his nose up your neck. He sinks two fingers into you and starts moving them slowly. “Tonight princess, This tight cunt is mine” You whine as you buck your hips. His thumb finds your bundle of nerves and he starts moving in circles. “All I can give you is tonight. We pack up and leave soon, but I promise you this’ll be a night you’ll never forget.”
You bite your lower lip trying to silence your sounds.
“Tell me, princess. Is this cunt all mine? Need to hear you say it”
Wakasa pulls his fingers out, putting them in his mouth and sucking them clean. He moans against his fingers, closing his eyes. “Fuck you’re delicious.” you whine at his words and loss of contact. “Touch yourself.” He whispers into your neck and his hand finds your hair gripping it tight. “Show me how you touch yourself, princess” He says as he licks up your neck then nips where shoulder meets neck.
Your hand slides down your body and into your pants. You gather your slick and slowly start rubbing circles. You whine and buck your hips. Your eyes close and your head falls back into the wall. Wakasa watches you, amusement in his eyes. “That’s it. Good girl” He says in a low raspy voice. You can feel that familiar heat building. You know you're close. Your body shakes and hips buck trying to get more friction as your orgasm washes over you. Moans drip from your lips and Wakasa swears he’s never heard anything more beautiful. “Fuck you’re gorgeous when you come baby” He says then smashes his lips onto yours. His tongue dances with yours and you can taste yourself on his lips. He pulls back, grabbing your fingers and shoving them in his mouth, sucking them. He groans again. “I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of how you taste”
“Now the rest of the time you come will be on my terms” He says as he pulls away from you smirking at you.
Wakasa grabs your hand pulling you further into the fun house. With the power off you can’t see anything, only feel his calloused hand holding yours. He stops and drops your hand. You look around trying to make anything out but it’s too dark. You don’t even know what direction you came from. you hear footsteps. Wakasa is walking around you. Circle you, like prey.
“Let’s play a game, princess” He sounds like he’s behind you but you're not sure. “What kind of game?” You hesitantly ask. You hear him chuckle as he continues to circle you, slowly. “Growing up I always enjoyed hide and seek. I get a thrill from hunting people, "he says. His breath fanning against your neck. You suck in a breath. When did he get so close? He backs away and starts walking around you again. You feel his hand slide against your waist.
“The rules are simple.” he says from behind you. He snakes his arms around your waist pulling you back into him. “Don’t get caught” He whispers in your hear. “Not by me or anyone else” He moves to the other ear. “If you’re caught, you get punished” He whispers as he runs his hands up your body.
“Punished” You say breathlessly. He nods against your neck
“Two, Don’t leave the carnival.”
“Three, the game ends when the sun rises. Until then your all mine”
Your skin crawls at his words. A monster is holding onto you. You should just turn around and leave. But something deep down tells you, you want this. Wakasa starts kissing up your neck to under your ear. “I’ll even be nice and give you a head start.” He bites your ear before baking away. “Game starts now’ He growls out as he backs away even further.
“Wakasa”
“Run!”
You suck in a breath before turning around and running in what you hope is the direction to outside. You don’t look back.
Wakasa waits while lighting another cigarette. After he thinks he’s giving you enough time he walks out of the fun house. He stands outside, eyes scanning the carnival for where you might have gone. He knows this place like the back of his hand. His eyes land on the stables. He walks up to the pile of hay thinking you're behind it but doesn’t find you. He sees rope laying near the hay and grabs it thinking it’ll come in handy. Since he didn’t find you in the hay he walks into the stables where the animals are. The carnival has a petting zoo for kids. It’s one of the main attractions for families. He walks around looking in the pens but doesn’t see you. He lets out a groan as he leaves the stables looking around outside trying to find you.
He hears a bang coming from one of the food trucks. A smirk forms on his lips.
“Gotch you”
He walks over to the food truck that sells funnel cakes. Walking in he sees you under the counter. Your back is to him. He crouches down.
“Boo”
You scream, jumping and banging your head on the metal counter. “You cheated! That wasn’t five minutes” He shrugs giving you a sickeningly sweet smile. “Found you” He says as he inches closer. He grabs you by your hair and yanks you up. He looks around the food truck and notices someone left a fryer on. He smirks. He looks up and sees a hook. “Strip” He says, Your eyes widen “W-What?” “Did I stutter? I said strip. I told you if you got caught you’d get punished.”
You slowly remove your clothes, noticing Wakasa messing with a rope. He grabs you and spins you around so your back is towards him. He grabs your wrists pulling them behind you and starts to tie them. Once he thinks he has tied you tight enough he throws part of the rope over the hook pulling. It yanks your arms back and up. He pushed on your back, bending you over. That's when you see the fryer.\
“Wakasa”
“It’s called a punishment for a reason, princess.” The rope is the only thing that keeps you from falling face first into hot oil. Truth be told, Wakasa doesn’t want to hurt you. He isn’t going to let you fall
Wakasa has a hold of your hip as you hear a zipper. He has you hoisted so you're on your tiptoes. “Hope you're good at balancing” He says as he shoves himself into you, filling you up. You let out a gasp as he starts a hard pace. His grip on your hips is bruising. He’s slamming into you so hard you're rocking back and forth. Face going closer and closer to the oil. You close your eyes. Wakasa thinks this is a good thing. He doesn’t want you freaking out. Not yet. He snakes one hand around you and finds your bundle of nerves. He starts rubbing circles.. He leans over you, laying his head on your back. Your moans are the only thing he hears.
“G-gonna come” You whimper out. “Come for me, princess” He whispers as he picks up his pace. He’s not going to last long. You cunt has his cock in a vice grip. You shake as euphoria hits you. Wakasa isn’t far behind filling you up.
He pulls back and releases the ropes from your wrist helping you stand. You turn towards him and he moves the hair out of your face gently kissing you. He pulls back. Sinking to his knees. He’s dripping out of you. He starts licking, sucking and nipping as you thread your fingers into his hair pulling. He groans against you tasting the mix of you two. He pulls back after he has you coming for him. He stands and grabs a fist full of your hair, yanking it back. “Open” You do and stick your tongue out. He spits in your mouth. You taste both of you on your tongue. “Swallow,” He says. You close your eyes as you swallow the mix of both of you down.
“Good girl” He whispers against your lips before pulling back.
You go put your clothes on as he tucks himself back in his jeans. He kicks the clothes away from you to the corner of the food truck. “I need those” you say “No you don't, carnivals closed” “What about the other carnies?”
“First rule”
“One” Wakasa begins to count. You grab your clothes and run out of the food truck trying to cover yourself hoping no one is outside. You don’t waste any time trying to get dressed. You frantically look around the carnival and run towards one of the rides hopping into it and laying down so no one sees you. You throw your shirt on and wiggle into your pants. You curl up in a ball hoping you’ve escaped Wasasa this time.
You can hear someone walking close by. You crawl out and run towards the ferris wheel. You grab onto the steel pools and hoist yourself up starting to climb.
Don’t look down Don’t look down, you keep repeating You climb till your at the top cart. You grab onto it and yank yourself up, throwing your leg over the edge and falling into it. You slam onto the bottom and the cart starts to rock back and forth
Shit
He’s going to see. You try to move without moving the cart more laying down on your back. You don’t know how much time has passed since you’ve been up here. Has it been twenty minutes, an hour? You’re hoping Wakasa forgot about you or gave up. You crawl to the edge of the cart and peek out of the side. Your eyes widen at seeing Wakasa leaning up against a pool smoking. How long has he been there? He sees you and smirks up at you before walking over to the control station. The ride starts to move but no music or lights are on.
“You almost did it” He yells up at you “Really made me work hard for this one”
“Rule one” You yell “Good you know what comes next”
“You haven’t caught me yet”
“Princess, if you think i'm climbing up there after you, you’re dumber than I thought” He says “No where else to run. Pretty shitty hiding place huh?”
“It took you a while to find me though” You yell down
“Who says I wasn’t here the whole time, just letting you think you’ve won”
“How many guys besides what’s his face did you say you’ve slept with?” He yells “Zero? I don’t believe that for a fucking second. I’m not calling you a whore but- yeah you know what I am.”
Six baskets away
“Why are you here? I told you I didn’t want you. I told you to leave. You’re only here as long as I don’t get bored of you. I get bored easily. What happens then?”
Four baskets away
“The game ends as soon as I get tired of your sweet little cunt. That’s the only thing interesting about you.” You sniffle “Oh poor me, the sad insecure girl who will let any guy who asks have their way with me as long as I get some attention. What’s your limit? Where does this end, huh? You gonna let me tie you up, beat you, cut you? Just for a little attention? Or don’t you care about any of that as long as your cunt is stuffed? That’s pathetic. You’re fucking patheric, you know that? This is a big waste of my time. I could find someone so much better but I got stuck with you. You’re disgusting.”
Your basket is next. You curled up in a ball trying to stop the tears before you feel someone grab a fist full of your hair and yanking you up. “You could have hid better than that, princess,” You hear Wakasa say. He jumps into the ride sitting down in the seat.
“Punishment number two”
“Wakasa you’re scaring me.”
“Punishments aren’t meant to be enjoyable for you, sweetheart, but admit it. You like it”
Wakasa spreads his legs as he slouches in the seat. “But that doesn’t make this much of a punishment for you does it? Eh, it's still fun anyways” He says with a shrug “Now suck my cock”
“What?”
Wakasa pats his lap and he grins down at you. “You’re joking.” “Does this look like a joke?” He asks as he unzips his pants “I want you to suck my cock, so suck my coke.” He says as he pulls himself out of his pants. You crawl between his legs sticking your tongue out licking up the shaft, pre-come runs down onto your tongue. You take him into your mouth as his hand finds the back of your head. You bob up and down sucking and licking. He groans from above you, throwing his head back. “That's right you’re my little slut. My little cock sleeve” You move faster as his grip on your hair tightens. He shoves you down, taking him down your throat before he fills your throat. You swallow, sticking your tongue out when after.
“Good girl” He says as he smashes his lips into yours tasting himself. “My perfect little whore” He whispers “Now run”
You jump out of the cart and run. You’re out of places to hide so you go to the only place you can think of. The fun house. You run in, not able to see anything. You put your hand against the wall to try to find your way. You scrape your hand a few times on loose nails. Wakasa isn’t far behind you. You find the dressing room and run in there hiding behind a mirror. Wakasa walks in after you. He's wearing a mask.
“Come out, come out, wherever you are” He says as he walks around the room pushing things out of his way. “I know this place like the back of my hand. I know when something is out of place”
He moves the mirror you’re behind. “Found you” He grabs you by your hair and drags you to the middle of the room. “What the fuck is up with the mask?” You ask, only able to see because he flipped the flashing lights on. Fog starts to fill up the room. “I’m spite the clown” He says “It’s supposed to be hot” You snort before he slams you against a mirror. You hear it crack as glass falls to your feet. He lifts the mask up to his nose and slams his lips against yours. He pulls your pants down, shoving two fingers into starting a fast pace. You groan into the kiss. He pulls away, flipping you around and pushing you into the mirror. He pulls the mask back down and pulls himself out of his pants slamming into you. You moan as he starts rocking back in forth looking in the mirror watching yourself be fucked by a clown.
Moan and the sound of skin on skin fill the room. Wakasa has his head thrown back as he slaps your ass so hard you know it’ll bruise. You match his movements, slamming your hips back in rhythm with him. He shoves his fingers in your mouth and you suck on them. “Fuck, I’ll never get tired of this pussy” He moans “You’re mine, fuck your all mine.” He says. “Say it. Tell me you’re mine and that I can keep you.” And you do. You tell him, you tell him you’ll do anything he asks as you come all over his cock. He isn’t long behind you filling you up.
You both get dressed. I hate this Wakasa thinks I want her naked all the time.
You both walk out of the fun house together. Wakasa looks up at the sky and sees the sun coming up. He sighs
“Game over” You say, He looks at you “Guess so. You can go back to your perfect little life now.”
You shift on your feet feeling the chill of the autumn air. “You okay?” He asks You nod your head “Yeah”
He brushes hair out of your face seeing an emotion in your eyes he can’t make out, but he knows it’s not good.
“Maybe I’ll see you around sometime?” You say. He nods his head. “Maybe” He doubts it and for some reason that hurts him. Fuck Wakasa get it together. It was just one night. You’ll just have to find another girl some other night and forget about her.
You turn walking away after waving bye.
Fuck do something Wakasa. What happened to “Can I keep you?” You continue to walk. Don’t look, don’t look. If you look it’ll hurt more.
With a sigh, Wakasa watches you walk away, out of the carnival, and out of his life.

It has been 10 years since you last saw his face. For 10 whole years, you have been left wondering if you could have been anything more.
Well, that wasn't entirely true. You've seen his face on your FYP from time to time while scrolling through your favorite social media apps. Its like your phone loved to torture you.
However, you couldn't bear to stare for longer than a minute. You couldn't let those feelings you once shared come back.
Keeho left you. He left you with nothing more than a letter in the mail.
Dear Y/N,
I hope this letter finds you well. I’ve been struggling to find the right words, but I know it’s time to be honest about what’s been weighing on my heart.
You’ve been my rock, my confidante, and my best friend. The time we’ve spent together has been nothing short of incredible, filled with memories that I will cherish forever. But as much as it pains me to say this, I have to be truthful about the future.
You know a bit about how much I’ve always dreamed of pursuing a job in the music industry, and now that opportunity has finally come. Moving to Korea is a chance to follow my dreams, connect with my past, and grow in ways I’ve always hoped for. It’s an opportunity I can’t pass up, but it’s also one that takes me far away from you.
This decision hasn’t been easy. I’ve spent countless nights thinking about us and what this move means for our relationship. The distance, the time apart—it’s something I’m not sure we can overcome without causing each other more pain and heartache. We both deserve to be happy and to fully embrace our futures, even if that means being apart.
You have been such a significant part of my life, and I will always be grateful for the love and support you’ve given me. I hope you understand that this decision is not about us lacking love or commitment, but about me needing to take this step for myself.
I believe that both of us deserve the chance to pursue our dreams and live our lives to the fullest. I hope that, in time, you can see this as a new beginning for both of us rather than an end.
I wish you all the happiness and success in the world. You are an amazing person, and I know you will go on to do incredible things. Thank you for everything you’ve brought into my life and for the memories we’ve made together.
Please take care of yourself, and remember that you will always have a special place in my heart.
With all my love,
Stephen
The words were still burned in your memory; you read the letter for weeks on end. You tried to contact him in every way possible, but your messages never seemed to be delivered, let alone even read.
That was until you realized you spent your entire summer before college sulking over a man who left you on a whim, the same man who you thought was going to be your high school sweetheart for the rest of eternity. You knew you shouldn't have let your hopes for the relationship develop as far as they did.
From then on, you decided to grow up and leave men—more like boys—in the past. You focused on your studies, climbed higher and higher in your line of work, and created a stable life for yourself and, of course, your pets.
However, it all seemed to feel like it was all crumbling down when you got a message from a very old group chat after you sat down to watch your favorite show.
"Class of ----, 10 year reunion!"
Of course, the thought of him was the first to come to mind.
Oh, how you wish you had outgrown the teenage heartbreak. It seems only a few things ever change.
There were plenty of random numbers in the chat, but in the back of your mind, you hoped that one of them might be his.
Days passed, and time drew closer to the large reunion. The world had seemed to slow down as your mind was clouded with too many conflicting emotions to even count.
You didn't know what to wear. You didn't know what to say. You didn't know what to do because, god forbid, Keeho actually showed up to this event. For all you knew, he was still in Korea, living out his idol dreams. It left a bitter taste in your mouth.
As the night on the fated day rolled around, you made your way to the bar your former classmates rented out for the night. Let's just say you guys raised a lot of money back then.
Your dress was black and fitted. It had off the shoulder straps with a slit on the right side showing off your admirable figure (you all are beautiful <3).
Squeals filled the large open area as you walked through the door. Old faces surrounded you as you all shared laughs and smiles together.
On the other hand, you noticed your own eyes straying from those of your old friends. You were searching for somebody.
A small sigh left your lips when you didn't see his face. Was it disappointment? Was it relief? You didn't even know yourself. What you did know was that you needed some drinks while catching up with the girls.
The night went on; it was almost, if not past midnight. You shared laughs, smiles, and even tears while listening to everyone and their stories. Oh, how you would love it if your life were ever that interesting.
That's when you heard someone behind you.
"Y/N?" it said.
You froze in place.
You recognized the voice. Maybe it was just your imagination. Maybe if you ignore it, it will go away.
So you continued to listen to the girls talk, but you soon realized they all stopped to stare at whatever was behind you.
"Y/N, please."
You stood straight up, gathering your belongings while getting ready to walk right out the door. You weren't ready for this. Not yet. But how many more years did you need?
A firm hand grabbed your arm and stopped you from walking any further. You froze yet again, and the hand slowly turned you around.
You were now face-to-face with nobody other than the man himself, Keeho.
His hair was a deep black, just as you always remembered it. His outfit was all black, coincidentally matching your own. A pair of glasses rested on his nose, complimenting his features nicely. But his eyes? They looked concerned.
You could've sworn you noticed a little blush appear on his face after he noticed you checking him out up and down.
You felt like melting into a puddle on the floor right then and there, but not because of the butterflies in your stomach, but because of embarrassment.
"Please, let's just talk." He pleaded yet again.
You were not having any of it. You could feel the anger bubble up inside of you, but you did not want to do anything you would regret, at least not yet. The alcohol in your body may make you think differently later.
"Talk about what, Keeho?" You made sure the venom leaked from your teeth when you spoke his name.
He flinched. "About us, Y/N. I've missed you so much."
"There is no US," you spat before thinking, "We haven't been together for 10 years, and this is how you say hello?"
Keeho's eyes widened. "Wha-what do you mean?" he stuttered in disbelief.
You couldn't help but laugh. There is no way this man is standing here acting like the victim in this situation.
"Why are you laughing?!" He cried out despritley. Everyone in the whole bar was easily staring at you both now.
You're not a monster. You could see the hurt and betrayal in his eyes. You knew something wasn't right, and you knew you needed to listen to him talk.
"Okay, I'm sorry," you said in a hushed voice, trying to calm the man down in front of you with a deep breath of your own. "Let's talk, but not here; come on." You grabbed his sleeve, pulling him out of the bar.
You didn't bear your farewells. That was the least important thing on your mind in this moment. You were focused on getting the truth. What exactly did Keeho mean?
Rain came down suddenly as a flash of light flew through the sky.
'Just great,' you thought.
"Y/N..." Keeho whispered from behind.
You stopped tugging on this jacket to turn around. Unexpectedly, you were met with sad and pleading eyes. Ones that threatened to spill with tears as the rain rolled down his face—his goddamn pretty face.
"Kee..' the nickname slid off your tongue just like it did many years ago. 'I promise to listen, and I'm sorry I was irrational. Let's get back to my place and we can talk, okay?"
All he could do was nod before taking your hand in his and taking you to his car. He knew you were too tipsy to drive safely yourself, but you couldn't help the faint blush that appeared on your face at the contact.
The car ride was silent. His eyes seemed lazzer focused on the road while you couldn't help but steal glances his way every other second.
You mumbled a few directions to your house. Your head was pounding, whether from the few drinks or the fact that so much had happened all at once.
The last thing you expected was to be in Keeho's car while he drove you back to your place. But wasn't this what you wished for deep down?
The breaks slightly screeched to a stop as he pulled into your driveway.
"Wait," he said before jumping out of the car to open the door for you.
He grabbed your hand as he helped you out of the low car.
"Still a gentleman, I see."
He chuckled a little. but his mind still seemed to be elsewhere.
As you unlocked the door and let both of you in, he immediately led you to the couch. Sitting you down, Keeho then ventured to go find you a glass of water.
Handing you the cup, he spoke, "Y/N, where have you been?" He paused. You were taken aback. "I've tried contacting you a countless number of times, and all I've gotten was radio silence. I didn't even expect you to still be in our old town."
You took his words in, and they hit you hard. However, you knew you had to be mature about the situation and talk out whatever misunderstanding you had.
"Keeho, I haven't heard a thing from you since the day you randomly up and left." You spoke after taking a sip from the glass of water. You tried to gather your thoughts to the best of your ability.
"I know it was sudden, and I still regret leaving so quickly. I just don't understand how you've heard nothing from me this whole time." He paused to think. "I've tried to call, text, and even write letters; I swear Y/N. I just don't understa-" He cut himself off.
You could tell something clicked inside his mind once his hands clutched together and his eyes became glossy.
"What is it, Kee? I don't understand this whole thing either." You said softly as you reached out to hold his tense hands.
"I-I don't know for certain... I think my company is behind all of this. It explains why they had me get a brand new phone and phone number. They also asked a lot about my romantic life and your basic information. Oh my god, I bet they probably blocked your number in my phone before I even got it." He looked up from his spot on the floor as he was taking everything in himself, his eyes making contact with yours. "I am so sorry, Y/N. I-I never meant for any of this to happen I-"
"It's okay." You cut him off.
You couldn't believe what you were saying. How could this be okay? This man has left you basically broken and helpless for a decade, and in less than an hour you already forgave him.
On the other hand, you could tell he was hurting the same as you.
"No, no," He felt conflicted, "I have to make it up to you. I've missed you so much, and I hope you've missed me too. Please let me show you how much I still love you."

She Moves in Her Own Way
Pairing: Rickstar!Eddie Munson x Reader
Summary: Eddie gets interviewed and he answers questions about his love life while reminiscing.
Word count: 1932
Eddie Masterlist
Tumblr media
“So Eddie,” the interviewer says, crossing her leg over the other where she sits across from the rockstar, “people are dying to know what your mystery girl is like. You’re rarely pictured with her and no one can seem to get you to say who she is.”
Eddie sits up straighter in his seat as you become the topic of conversation. He had been starting to get a little bored, slumping a bit. He didn’t even want to do this interview for some teen magazine he’s never even heard of. He only agreed to it because when he brought it up to you you got all excited because apparently you used to read them throughout high school.
“Yeah, I like to keep her to myself. I don’t want to see a bunch of lies about her in the media, y'know? I’ve seen it happen to enough people in my line of work.”
“Do you think you could tell us what about her caught your eye?” Eddie wants to laugh at the question, he figured this was what whoever was interviewing him would want to talk about, his love life. Why else would he be getting interviewed, surely teen girls don’t care about what got him into music and why it means so much to him. But then again you did, you always did.
“She started as my best friend back in high school. She was always sticking with me and up for me even after she graduated and I failed.” Eddie gets a goofy grin on his face as he starts talking about you. “One thing led to another and she’s been my everything since.”
You and Eddie had been acquaintances in elementary and middle school and became closer in high school when you got paired up for a project freshman year. You claimed him as your best friend after he punched an older kid for making fun of you. You’ve even returned the favor before by getting into a fight with the girl who first started calling Eddie a freak. He had to be the one to break up the fight by pulling you off of her.
You’ve always supported him too both with the club and when he started his band back up with Jeff, Gareth, and Adam. Even though with practices, meetings, and your college classes after you started them the two of your schedules almost never matched up to hang out. You still made it to each and every one of his shows most of the time just to talk to him afterward.
“So you’ve been together since high school?”
“No, it wasn’t until she was almost done with her major that I finally worked up the nerve to say anything. She was helping me get ready to leave for the band's first small tour and I had a feeling of it’s now or never. And then she made me wait until we got back to give me an answer.”
The urge that he had to ask you now before anyone could scoop you up while he’s gone came while he watched you laugh at something Gareth had said while you were saying bye to everyone. The last thing he wanted to happen was that boy from your English class getting to see you laugh like that and falling in love and next thing Eddie knows he’s being invited to your wedding.
“I can’t believe you’re choosing school over us Sweetheart.” He teased while wrapping you up in his arms causing you to laugh.
“Maybe if it was just a week Eds, but I don’t think my teachers will like me being out for a month. I’ll miss you though, it’s gonna be weird not having you around.” You buried your head in his chest squeezing him tighter.
“You’ll get along just fine without me distractin’ you from all your studies. I’ll miss you too though.” He just held you to him for a while before speaking again. “You wanna go out to a movie or get a nice dinner or something when I get back?” You pulled away just enough to look at him and give him a playful smile.
“Edward Munson, are you asking me out?”
“Uh yeah, yeah I am.”
“Well it’s about time.”
“Is that a yes?” Eddie quirked an eyebrow smiling down at you. You hummed and tapped your chin in mock contemplacey.
“Hmm, I’ll let you know when you get back. You gotta go or you’ll be late.” You reached up to kiss his cheek before stepping away completely. “Bye Eds, love ya!” And you waved as Jeff called his name and he had to climb into the bus.
“What’s she like? If you don’t mind me asking, that is.” Eddie smiles at her words every other interviewer that has tried asking about you just basically demanded the information and he had immediately shut them down without thinking twice.
Even if they had asked like this he would’ve said no because he was never sure what you would think of having the world know stuff about you but this time he knew you didn’t care. When he was contemplating doing the interview and you got excited he complained about how the questions would probably mainly be about his love life. You had just shrugged and told him to do it anyway and that you didn’t care about everyone finding out about you as long as he didn’t care.
He did care but this time he was asked so nicely that he would give as much information as he could without giving away any details that would lead people to figure out who you are.
“I love her because she moves in her own way. Her fashion sense is god awful because she dresses like a muppet. Almost all she listens to is disco and she has the most bizarre movies memorized. And she’s probably the kindest person I’ve ever met who’s always watching out for the ones she cares about.” Especially the kids in your life. When you met Dustin and the gang you had immediately hopped into older sister mode and had them imprinting on you like ducklings.
And you’re one of the best teachers Eddie’s ever seen. He was lucky that you agreed to tutor him that last senior year even though you had your own classes to focus on because without you he probably would’ve failed again and he honestly would’ve just dropped out at that point. And you’re constantly helping the kids with their school work when they need it. When Will and El moved back to Hawkins you had helped catch them up with what was being taught there because their school in Cali had been behind.
Watching you interact and help El is something else really. You’re so patient with her and constantly helping her catch up to kids her own age since she’s so behind because of being stuck in the lab her whole childhood. She’s made amazing progress thanks to your help.
And he’s seen how you interact with your students at Hawkins middle school. Each one gets a special form of special treatment and you almost always make yourself easily accessible during school hours, staying late in your classroom during the after school activities in case one of them needs you. Dustin compared you to his old teacher Mr. Clarke and your face lit up like the fourth of July before saying thanks and told him all about how he became your mentor since you started teaching.
“She sounds wonderful! What was it that made you realize you were in love with her?”
“I think I was for a while before I said anything to her. But I realized it myself after a couple months of us dating. Our schedules weren’t really lining up because she was having to study and go to class and at that point the band had started really picking up some traction. So she would come to the shows just to hear about my day or week depending on how long it had been since we were able to see each other.” The goofy smile Eddie’s had the whole time he’s been talking about you gets bigger as he thinks about how he’d see you in the crowd waving at him with a big smile on your face. It makes him want to finally get home to you because even though he’s only been away for a few hours for this interview, it’s a Saturday and he should be enjoying your day off with you. “I’m sorry, is this interview about done?” He didn’t care much if it came out as rude.
“Yeah, thank you for your time and answers today Eddie.”
“Yep, you’re welcome.” He waited as she gathered her things and held the door open for her before rushing out of the building because that was the polite thing to do. But then he was speeding home to you.
A week later the magazine with his interview hit shelves and you came rushing home from the store with it in your hand.
“Eddie, you made the front page!” He looks up at you from his spot on the couch as you excitedly wave it around.
“Cool, do you need help with the groceries?” He starts to get up and you physically pause suddenly remembering why you had been there in the first place.
“No, I forgot about those when I saw this. Whoops. But look at this!” You basically shove the magazine in his face causing him to laugh and take it from you before sitting down and pulling you onto his lap.
“Alright, let’s see what this is all about.” He holds the magazine out for the two of you to see the front. “Rockstar Eddie Munson opens up to us about his lovely mystery girl. God people actually read this crap?” You giggle at the bewildered look on his face and nod. “Who cares?”
“The entire female population probably. You’re a total babe, babe. Now go to your interview. I wanna read it.” He rolls his eyes but goes to it nonetheless, handing you the mag and resting his chin on your shoulder. “There’s some questions about how you got into music Ed’s what are you complaining about? It’s not all about your love life.”
“They were basically the same questions I’m always asked. I was so bored.”
“Yeah I see that in the notes here. Eddie had begun looking bored until I started asking him about his girlfriend when he sat up straighter and started getting into it.” You read it out loud, eyeing him. You’ve talked to him about faking interest in the past. About how these people are just doing their jobs and asking the questions probably provided to them. Before he can defend himself you read another part out loud.
“Sorry to say it ladies but the one and only Eddie Munson is so much in love with his girl that you can see it in his eyes when he talks about her. The thought of how he probably looks at her has me swooning and I haven’t even seen it.” You put the mag down before turning so you’re straddling him, his hands wrapping around your back. “You hear that, she’s swooning. I’m shocked you actually answered the questions about me this time.”
“Well she asked so nicely compared to anyone else who asked. And you’re my favorite topic of conversation baby.”
“I love you Eds.” You smile and rest your forehead against his.
“I love you too Princess.”

𑁍 Synopsis:
16-year-old Kouki is just as tall as the 5'8 man. He should thank his Papa's genes later.

Kouki is used to being fawn over. Not even bragging, but girls do swoon over him in his class that he has to escape to the rooftop to evade them.
"Eh? Cause me and your Mama are pretty, that's why you look like that." His Papa answered when he told him that girls in his class kept following him.
Papa? Well, he's not really handsome. His Papa is weird. He looks like a really long sugarcane when he stands straight in his violet uniform. Has someone even told his Papa?
Mama though. He thinks you're very beautiful. Kouki really loves his eyes because it's the same color as yours.
So it's not a surprise having a pretty mother that when you go out guys look at you, a little longer than Kouki would approve.
"We have to buy you new clothes, you're not fitting in the ones we bought last year." You sighed and walk to the department store with Kouki trailing behind you. "I know your Papa is tall, but I never thought you'd be this tall too."
Kouki pouts and shrugs.
"You use me to get the high things Ma, why are you poking my height?"
You laughed, teasing him more about girls in school breaking their necks when he passes them. His sister can't keep her mouth shut to get back at him at dinner time.
His Papa told him it was normal. Those kinds of things, getting attracted to the opposite sex because of curiosity. But he's never felt the need to entertain it. Kouki does get confessions but all of them are politely turned down.
"Why should I? It's not like I like her." He sighed at Yusuke, his friend since middle school telling him he's been a real snob with girls, this recent one is the principal's daughter.
"But don't you get curious about getting into a relationship? All that romance and stuff? C'mon, you're not planning to be a hermit or a monk are you?"
He already knows what it's like. Seeing his mother and father every day, Kouki doesn't really feel the need to seek out relationships, especially fleeting ones. It's not like he likes anyone anyway.
"Oh! I know. You're waiting for Mayumi? Right! It's been years since she changed schools. Are you still exchanging emails with her?" Yusuke grinned ear to ear.
"She's like a sister to me." Kouki stood up and pat his pants from the dirt. "I have siblings, and I'm gonna get angry if some boy or girl just dates them for fun too."
Dating... Huh?
He's rather protective of the girls in the house than fooling around. The same goes for his Mama.
"I want this hoodie Ma." Kouki came back to the aisle with a white hoodie in his hand when he saw a man talking to you.
"Do you know where this cafe is? The mall is big and I'm lost." The man—looking late 20s—rub the back of his neck while looking at you intently as you told him the directions.
Asking questions? Probably the man is lost. That's alright, he'll wait here 'til you finish helping the guy.
"Ah, thank you. If you're free can we get coffee together? I'm Hayato."
Formation SSS
"Ma, I was looking for you." Kouki swooped in. Your eyes lit up and smiled. The man was taken aback by his presence but Kouki ignored him and put on a worried face, with a soft voice. "Papa told you to walk slowly. You can't stress my baby sibling walking around tirelessly. The first trimester is really delicate, didn't you hear what the doctor said?"
"What are you talkin—" You frowned and stare at him like he's ridiculously grown three heads.
"Papa mailed me he's waiting in the store, your rings just finished getting cleaned."
You frowned at him with the sudden remarks but he just winked at you and turned around, and everything changed. Slipping his hands into the pockets of his jeans with a blank look on his face, Kouki took one step forward. The man steps back and looks at him with confusion and a glare.
16-year-old Kouki is just as tall as the 5'8 man. He should thank his Papa's genes later.
"You need something from my mother?"
"M-mother? I w-was just asking directions." The man replied, looking at you and Kouki back and forth.
"Go straight in that corridor, turn right at the corner then take the elevator to the ground floor you'll get there." Kouki flatly answered. "Excuse us, my father is not really a patient man."
Kouki ushered you out of the shop. The directions he gave led to the parking lot.
"Y'know, you're really a minion of your father. The only you got from me is your eyes." You chuckled, finding your protective son funnier than scolding his rudeness. "And what baby sibling? Really Kou-chan, after your siblings you still want to babysit another one?" You teased.
Kouki huffs. He really wanted that white hoodie but forgot about it. Unknowingly you didn't realize the direction you're heading.
It was the same cafe the stranger earlier asked you about.
"What took you so long? I was really hungry." His Papa waved.
"Satoru?! I thought you were coming home tomorrow?" You shook your head and sat beside the grinning man. You were quickly enveloped with smothering and teasing.
Kouki sighed at the scene in front of him and turned to his phone, the tread of the recent message is still there.
—————
Him:
Pa.
Papa:
Yes, yes? Miss me Kikufuku? I'm on my way home~ I brought you a ddeokbokki, the spiciest one!
—————
Great, he feels the love. Note his sarcasm, please. Kouki ignored his father's words and got to the point.
—————
Him:
Pa, formation SSS
Papa:
Roger that, where?
Him:
Department store.
Papa:
Okie-dokie on my way Kikufuku.
Him:
On second thought, wait at Cafe Rio
—————
"You two are really!" You huffed but a defeated glint in your eyes.
Kouki stared at his parents getting all lovey-dovey despite the public setting. He should've chosen a more private place to eat.
"I'm gonna get that hoodie, I'll be back." Kouki stood up.
"Owkay~" His Papa chuckled, shooing him away. "Oh, Kikufuku?"
"Mnnn?" Kouki turned back and met his father's thumbs up. This time a genuine tenderness in his Papa's eyes.
"Nice one, son."
Kouki shrugged and waved, walking out of the cafe. His Papa is weird, but he's the only man worthy of his Mama.
On his way out, he saw the man in the department store. The man's eyes were wide open as he stares at his Mama and Papa inside the cafe in disbelief. He then saw Kouki, walking on the other side.
Kouki smirked tauntingly crumpling the man's face and ego more than ever.
Guess what? You're right.
The only thing he inherited from his mother is her eyes. He could be a menace like his father.

You just moved from Virginia, where you had spent most of your childhood, due to your father having been stationed there. Your parents divorce is how you ended up in your mom’s town in Texas living with her and your grandparents.
School was a place you knew you could escape your parents constant arguing and it also helped that it was somewhere you excelled.
New schools were intimidating especially when you're starting your sophomore year and everyone already knew everyone, but you eventually found yourself a group of friends that welcomed you with open arms. Within that group you met your best friend, Evelyn Seresin, and her matching green-eyed twin brother, Jake.
You spent a year and a half going in circles around each other, him being one of the most popular kids in your grade and you struggling with his charismatic nature that caused him to flirt with half the girls in your class. You struggled with the idea of love and the idea of someone wanting to be with you. Your examples of love weren't exactly what anyone would call a healthy relationship. Your parents married young and had you shortly after their 20th and 22nd birthdays. Their marriage was hardly something that led you to believe in love, your father having multiple affairs and your mother continually letting it happen until she found out he was leaving her for another woman. A healthy relationship wasn't something you imagined you'd get to experience.
Your feelings for Jake scared you, but you found yourself being pulled in by him every time you were around him. When he found out your favorite flowers were Tulips, he started calling you Tulip as if it was a secret way of saying I love you. You don’t know when your feelings started for him, maybe it was the first day you met in the hallway on the way to fifth period, or when he finally asked you to be his girlfriend during spring of senior year while sitting out by the water and him holding a bouquet of pink tulips or maybe it was when you got a little too drunk off grandpa Seresin’s super secret moonshine at a bonfire party and he made sure you got home safely despite him only just getting his license earlier that day.
It scared you that you knew what it meant when your heart skipped a beat and your palms get sweaty. You were scared of ending up like your parents, but you did your best to push those feelings away because you hope and pray that your love story is not the same.
I say, "Can you believe it?"
As we're lyin' on the couch
The moment I could see it
Yes, yes, I can see it now
The summer before college was a whirlwind, Jake joined the Navy and is attending College through them while you’re on a partial scholarship.
You and Jake found yourselves laying on the couch at his family’s house, cuddled up after watching a Disney movie marathon before your freshman year starts next week.
“Can you believe it?” You ask, leaning up on your arm from his chest.
“Can I believe what, Tulip?” He looks at you, “Can you believe they all just find the love of their lives and get to live happily ever after?”
“I mean that’s like Disney’s whole deal.” He chuckles.
“I mean like the whole falling in love thing,” you pause, “it’s just so easy for them. What happens if they ever fall out of love?”
Jake raises an eyebrow, “That’s a cynical way to view it. What if they stay in love?” He challenges.
“Mhm, I guess that’s a possibility,” you hum.
“Do you not believe in love?” Sits himself up on the couch to get a better view of your face.
“I don’t not believe in love.” You pause, “Do you believe in love?”
“Mhm,” he gives you that one-hundred watt seresin smile, “because I love you.”
You stare at him for a minute and then pull him into a kiss, “I love you too,” you say through the kiss.
Flash forward and we're takin' on the world together
You learn my secrets and you figure out why I'm guarded
You say we'll never make my parents' mistakes
You stared at Jake while he sat there waiting for your answer, “Sorry, can you repeat that?”
“Do you ever think about what our marriage would look like?” He repeated.
“Uh, honestly, I haven’t really thought about marriage. I didn’t exactly have the best role models,” you looked away from him. You didn’t want to talk about your parents or the fact that you were estranged from them. You moved out once college started and spent holidays and breaks at Evelyn and Jake’s family’s house.
“You know we wouldn’t be like them,” he put his hand on your face and softly rubbed your cheek with his thumb, “I’d watch whatever romcom you wanted without complaining, I’d cook you breakfast in bed, I’d write you little cheesy love notes,” you interrupted him with a laugh.
“What’s so funny, Tulip?” He questions you.
“Sorry, but the picture of you cooking breakfast and writing cheesy love notes is hilarious. You can hardly flip a pancake.” You grinned.
He smirked, “Maybe I’ll learn before we have kids,” you chuckled, “little Jake and Ava will just have to go to learn to love oatmeal and cornflakes for breakfast,” you joke.
He raises an eyebrow and smirks, “Little Jake, you wanna have another Jake Seresin running around?”
“Maybe, not little Jake, that’d just inflate your ego.” You pull him into a kiss.
He deepens the kiss and then pulls away, “listen, as much as I wanna keep talking about this, my little Jake is feeling a little aroused.”
“Ew Jake,” you push him off you with a laugh, “never say that to me again or big Jake will never get laid again.”
But we got bills to pay
We got nothing figured out
You stared down at the test with a small but very visible plus sign. Thousands of thoughts rushed through your head, but all you wanted to do was puke. The two of you had just graduated college this past fall and been living together for six months. You were barely getting by and picking up extra shifts whenever you could get them. You had no idea how you would be able to afford a baby especially not when Jake’s dream job was still years away.
You heard the door to your tiny quaint apartment open and close. “Honey, I’m home.” You heard your sweetheart say. You rushed out of the bathroom to greet him.
“I’m pregnant.”
His smile dropped, “I got into flight school.”
You both stared at each other for a minute before you had both registered what had been said. You had known of his dreams to be a Naval Aviator, but you never could have planned the plot twist life just threw at you.
Braced myself for the goodbye
'Cause that's all I've ever known
Then you took me by surprise
You said, "I'll never leave you alone"
“Oh,” that was all you could bring yourself to say. You had begun to play with your fingers nervously feeling, once again like you had as a child. You were afraid this would be his opportunity to leave you like your father had. People didn’t stay long in your life, maybe this was only ever meant to be temporary too.
Jake quickly realized how fast you were beginning to close yourself off as soon as he saw tears slide down your cheeks. He moved closer to wipe your tears away.
“We have nothing figured out. We’re barely making ends meet as it is, how are we supposed to support another human?” You continued, “and then what happens when you get deployed? What if you get hurt and leave me?”
“We’ll figure this out,” He pulled you in close and wrapped you safely in his arms. “Tulip, I'll never leave you alone. I promise you.” He kissed your head as you cried into his chest. “You’re the best thing that’s ever been mine.” You say to him softly through your tears. You had never felt safer than you had in this moment.
You also knew at this moment that you wanted no one, but Jake Seresin for as long as he’d let you have him. At the time you didn’t know it, but he was already thinking about what the future would look like for the two of you.
You said, "I remember how we felt sitting by the water
And every time I look at you, it's like the first time
I fell in love with a careless man's careful daughter
She is the best thing that's ever been mine"
Your daughter, Molly, was now seven months old and you and Jake were bringing her to his parents ranch for her first Christmas.
“How’s my favorite niece?” Evelyn screamed and ran towards you and your daughter with open arms.
“She’s your only niece, Eve.” Jake laughed as he put down the empty baby carrier and held his arms open for her to hug him after hugging you and Molly.
“I missed you so much,” she loudly whispered to you and then moved on to hug Jake, “you’re my favorite brother.” She said giving him a squeeze.
“I’m your only brother,” he squeezed her, “you’re my favorite sister.” He laughed, “good, I’ll be sure to tell Sav, Kim and Ava.” She smirked.
“You’re my least favorite sister.” He said sarcastically, pulling away from her.
Later that day, you found yourself outside sitting on the dock by the lake that sat in the backyard of Jake’s parent’s ranch with Evelyn.
“I really did miss you,” Evelyn said looking at you from her cup of wine.
“I’m sorry that I haven’t been the best about keeping in contact, it’s just having a baby changes a lot.”
“I know, it’s partially on me as well, but promise me we’ll always be best friends even though you’re with my brother.” She held out her pinky finger.
“I promise,” you say and wrap your pinky around hers, “You know I always knew you’d end up with Jake.” she gave you that familiar Seresin smirk.
“You knew?” you raised an eyebrow, “I mean yeah, you guys always ran in each other’s orbits,” she laughed, “If y’all didn’t get together Senior year, I was gonna lock you both in a room until you finally confessed your feelings.” She confessed.
“Oh my god, you were not!” You playfully push her.
“I was so sick of seeing you guys make googly eyes at each other. I’m just glad it worked out, I couldn’t think of someone better for Jakeor for you.” She pulled you into a tight hug.
“Am I interrupting something?” Jake asked while fiddling with the ring in his pocket.
Evelyn smiled at Jake, “Absolutely not,” she grabbed her drink and patted his back, “good luck little brother.”
“I’m two minutes younger,” Jake exclaimed while she walked away, “still younger than me.” She laughed and continued walking back to the house.
Jake made his way over to you. You stood up to give him a quick kiss and wrapped your arms around him, “Do you remember the last time we were here?”
“Yeah, you asked me to be your girlfriend.” You stared out at the lake while remembering that moment that changed your entire life.
Jake pulled out the ring and got down on one knee, “Y/N, I love you more than anything else, well besides Molly, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you and making you happy. Will you marry me?” He waited hesitantly.
You stared down at him in shock, “Say yes!” You look over and see Evelyn holding Molly with Jake’s other sister’s and parents standing behind her.
“Yes!” You look back at Jake and smile with tears in your eyes.
Jake stands up and slides the ring into your finger. “You’re the best thing that’s ever been mine.” He says into the kiss.
Yes, yes, do you believe it? (Hold on)
Yes, yes, we're gonna make it now (Hold on)
Yes, yes, I can see it
Yes, yes, I can see it now

I've recently gotten into web comics but I don't like most of the male characters in romance comics, they do some really creepy things that seem to just get swept under the rug. Do you have any recommendations for some good romance comics?
*cracks neck* I've trained for this day for years
This is going to be a combination of manhwa, manhua, webtoons and probably some manga too, of all kinds of genres, most are my favorites and I'll explain why so pick whatever catches your interest.
Post is going to be super long so:
I Stan The Prince -> starting of with a strong one, the fl writes a fanfiction about the notorious ex crown prince and raises his popularity. Now she has to work with him and write another book all while dealing with political drama and dark royal secrets. This manhwa rescently just came back from an incredibly long hiatus, it has no novel it's an original manhwa and the main couple are literally the cutest most in love mutual pining idiots ever they're married they just don't know it yet
Hidden Love -> Warning this has a 7 age gap! The story starts when the fl is 13 and meets her brothers dormmate and falls in love with him but keeps it a secret and they lose contact. Years later when she's in college she reunites with the brother's friend and old feelings start to resurface and he slowly falls for her now that she is an adult. I am going to repeat this only once, no grooming, no weird underage romance, ml never liked her like that when she was a child her romance was one sided back then, both are consenting adults now. The fl helps ml with his struggling past and makes him realize he is worthy of love. The fl is strong and confident and she's the one saving the ml multiple times. The ml is literally such a green flag even if he's a big flirt when "courting" her. It's an incredibly touching story and it even has a drama
Eternal Love/First Froat -> set in the same universe as the story above, this is about the love story of the prev fl brother and the mc, his high school classmate. Both had a crush on each other back then but the fl pushed him away coldly and they seperated. Years later they met by chance and by chance yet again ended up as roommates. Slowly they realize the feelings never went away and they keep getting drawn to each other but the horribly tragic past of the fl and the reason she pushed the ml away slowly uncoveres too. This is a beautiful story of a love that never stopped. The mcs are literally meant to be and the fl is so strong after everything she's been through. And the ml is the most patient, caring mam ever everyone deserves a man like him. Literally the standard. Both these books can be read as stand alones but there are some hilarious moments that can only be completely understood if you read them both
Savinvg My Sweetheart -> You will cry so hard while reading this. Fl is the saintess' daughter and after the death of her husband who she was politically married to, she goes back in time a few months before their marriage and only has one goal, to save her kind husbad from her mother even if it causes her death. Both the fl and ml love each other so incredibly much but both think the other hates them because of the forced marriage yet that misunderstanding doesn't stop them from being the literal greatest cople ever! The are such a healthy couple and both are incredibly fleshed out and not just making romance their entire point of existance. Fl slowly gathers powers in order to stop her biological mother who is evil incarnate and save everyone. Ml works together with fl and on his own in order to strengthen his kingdom. And the link that connects them will literally have you crying for the next 20 years. The story is more of a found family/romance and it's one of the most well written stories ever, you will almost never find one loophone everything is planned to the T
Caught By The Villain -> the ml might start bad here but I'm telling you his character development is simply 👌 ✨️. Fl gets transported into the world of this novel she read as the twin sister of a minor villain. Later she has to join knighthood disgusted as her brother and somehow gets chosen as the personal guard of the crown prince, aka main villain, but also with the og!ml which is somewhat different from the story. Ok I'm going to start by saying the title is literally the greatest clickbait ever because almost everyone but the villain catch her and discovered she's a girl. The story has great representation and discusses about a lot of topics like gender and sexuality which you almost never find talked in manhwas. The ml starts bad but slowly by spending time with fl he realizes his mistakes, sincerely apologises tho does not expect forgiveness, promises to change and does keep his word, genuenly loves and cherishes her and is an all round little meow meow and I love him. He's a bi disaster too. Fl is strong and under lots of stress. She slowly gets closer with ml and realizes he's not just the big bad evil villain from the novel and the closer they get and the more genuine their friendship becomes, the more she feels guilty for hiding her true identity from ml. And the og!ml is a special case that I don't even wanna touch with a 10 foot pole so theres that. The development all these characters go through is slow and so perfectly written you don't even realize how much they changed until you go back and realise they're not the same as the beginong
Even If You Split My Mouth -> manga with japanese urban legends which means it has some gore and body horror. The story follows a Kuchisake-Onna and her contract fiancé, a 17 yo boy who has the power to strengthen her legend with his words so she won't disappear. She doesn't want this engagement while he is in love with her so they form a pact, if she can scare him within a year the engagement is off, if not than they get married. This is one of those stories that start all silly goofy but end up having some of the deepest lore ever. The fl is super cute for a yokai and she blushes a lot every time ml flirts. Ml is completly unphased by her scare attempts and loves her to bits. They're such a dumb cute couple and their love story is so fun and sad sometimes. All the side characters are entertaining and lovable. Really there's not one bad thing I can say about this manga, it deserves more love
You Are My Desire -> high school sweethearts and later uni sweethearts. Fl moves to a new city and school after her parents messy divorce and her father's remarriage. While looking around she stumbles upon a tatoo shop and amazingly embarrasses herself in front of the tattooist. On the first day of school she happens to end up as deskmates with that same tattooist who's coincidentally the school tyrant but slowly it becomes visible this tyrant doesn't act like a tyrant at all and so a weird relationship is born out of the two of them. The two mcs are one of the best couples I've ever read. They slowly heal heach others wounds and teach each other that they love them even with their scars. I don't wanna say a lot since the manhua only has aroumd 20 chapters and there's so much story from the novel that hasn't been told yet. There's slso a drama that was rescently released
Daytime Star -> modern manhwa. An actress who has been cast as nothing but an extra for almost 10 years lands a small role where she gets to play along one of the best male actors in the industry. After that they both can't stop thinking about each other and that's how their love story begins. One of the healthiest modern manhwa couples ever! They're literally so cute they will call you single in all languages pf the world and more. I also loved that the fl slowly rose to fame almost all on her own using her own strength and talent with very few minor moments where others helped. It's a great story and it talks about the struggles of working on the korean entertainment industry too
Villains Are Destined to Die -> oh where do I begin with this masterpiece! Fl gets transmigrated into a dating sim she was playing as the villaines and she's currently in the hard mode which makes it super dificult for her to clear the game. She has to increase the affection percentage of the capture targets so she can go back to her old life and avoid the bad ending which always results in her death. This is literally one of those stories that gets you hooked on the very first chapters alone. Fl goes through so much and she's such a tragic character. All she wants is a peaceful life and she works damn hard for it. Her family is just exhausting but they slowly develop besides SOME who shall not be named. The ml, which you'll probably figure out who it is lile halfway through because he's just that iconic, is literally THE BEST, THE STANDARD! I love him so much and it might not show it in the begining chapters but he's is just perfect. The romance is more secondary tho and the story focuses more on the fl's struggles to survive and the discovery of the secrets that can change the fate of the entire kingdom.
See You In My 19th Life -> this rescently got a drama and I recommend watching that too. Fl is a reincarnator who remembers all her lives besides the first one. In her 19th life she resolves to find a boy form her 18th life who made her enjoy life again after so many reincarnations and made her wish she was reincarnated once again. She manages to get a job in the hotel he manages and immediately asks him to date. Thus begins the story of her following and flirting with her love from the prevous life without him knowing it's her and slowly healing his scars and traumas while also solving the mystery of her reincarnation. The story us full of mystery and absurdly cute couples. The ml is traumatized by fl's death since she died quite literally right in front of his eyes when he was really young and he also has a crap ton of family drama to deal with. The fl loves the him so much and tries her best to help him not just physically but emotionally too. She's like a breath of fresh air for the ml and their love is just so selfless. He loves her even when he doesn't know she's his first love reincarnated. The side couple is literally amazinv too and I would need an entire paragraph to talk about them too. The mystery of the webtoon always keeps you on the edge. Overall amazing webtoon and has an amazing kdrama!
(I'm getting tired and I have to wake up early tomorrow so I'm just gonna drop some titles with no explenation now. There might be some shounen ai in there fyi)

Well then, lemme just-
You know how some teens try to act all tough and serious so they can look cool and "mature for their age" but in reality are a complete sweetheart (and maybe a scared cat/crybaby too lol) and all of the adults there know this bc they knew/know them since their parents had them? Yeah<3
Reader: Nothing scares me😎, I'm awesome just like that-
Kevin: Oh! Hey Y/N, how are y-
Reader: *high-pitched scream*
When Reader discovered what Bob had done it probably hit them HARD. They thought he was the COOLEST dude on the neighborhood who always gave them free food after hard days at school and would let them hang out at his work when their parents were away, now you are telling them that police discovered that he was a killer?? That gotta be a very hurtful event, especially if you are a kid.
So they kind of created this fake version of themselves to make it seem that they were over it and that it actually didn't affect them, they became this "too cool for school😎" teen who didn't have any feeling besides "chill" and "stoic". Which ends up making some of the people they grew around worried, they know why they became like this but nobody has the guts to confront them about it, knowing how the topic hurts them
Lila: So...do you want to talk about Bob-
Reader: Why would I? I don't care about what happened 😎
Lila: Well then...take your glasses off please?
Reader: 🤏😎....🥺
Bob(after escaping prison) probably wouldn't recognize them at first, only when they start to cry and beg for him not to kill them is when he notices that the teen in front of him is that kid who would always hang around when he was working. At that moment he kinda freezes, he can't believe it! They look so different! He tries to calm them down, telling them that it's only him, Bob! You remember him... right?
They just look so small and sad, there is this voice in the back of his head telling him to hug them and never let go, to comfort them like a parent comforts their child after a bad dream...and that's exactly what he would have done...if they hadn't ran away.
(idk man, just want Bob to be a platonic yandere to this teen who tries to act all tough but is absolutely terrified of him lol.)
(SORRY THIS IS SO LONG LOL)
(I love when anons or anyone explains and expresses their creativity and I'll make this into head canons with a tad of shitpost)
bob would have books on how to raise a teenager and other stuff. He does go out of his way to get you good animal meat sense you don't really have a wanting for it, which is fine but will the police on his ass and all
Bob does make dad jokes with a mix of cannibal humor in. Plus seeing you try to be cool but in reality a scared little kid makes him feel like a dad trying to raise a toddler who is afraid of their own shadow....he is convinced you are afraid of your own shadow, bob tries to make his house kinda child proof after hearing about how kids (which he kinda feels like you are) get hurt or almost get poisoned by things in the house or around the house so he trys everything to keep you from hurting yourself
He wears glasses....no one can change my mind, and bob does let you make friends. Well after he has you calm down after the fact he is a mass cannibal serial killer in a fucking devil costume, he is not above carrying you plus he wont spoil you a lot just at the beginning so you can at least calm down to know your not going to die....one time you went to go get a drink form the fridge at night and didn't know which fridge bob kept the drink (cause I headcanon he puts his drink and the dead bodies in two separate fridges cause he doesn't want you to get sick or just because your not use to the smell of dead corpses of victims old and new) and you open the wrong fridge and a fresh dead body falls out onto the floor your just use to it and shove the body back into the fridge and forget your drink.
Bob isn't bothered by you being gay or trans, pansexual ect. But he will need to see who your dating cause he wants the best for you....he makes "hi gay I'm dad" joke when you came out because you're his 'kid' and he will try to poke fun at any time he gets the chance, if you want to date two people that's okay but I feel like bob knows we're everyone lives in the town so he will get on his devil costume and go outside to check if your boyfriend/girlfriend is cheating on you and if they are....then oh boy he busting in and kill them.
You guys know when your trying to show your parents something on your phone and they do that looking far away from the screen to see it?....yeah bob has to grab his glasses and does that plus when he's cooking meat he knows how to season and make good ass hamburgers

1. “Yeah, ya know, they’re actually teachin’ all kindsa folk how to read an’ write these days,” she answered his second question with a sarcastic exaggeration of the natural twangs of her accent, ignoring his first entirely. “They ain’t even makin’ you go all the way to law school for it no more.”
2. “Piss off, Earl,” she spat, elbowing him out of the way. “I mean, honest to god fuckin’ piss off, alright?”
3. “Opossums are fuckin’ marsupials, Mary May!”
4. “I would fuckin’ carve out your eyes and throw them in the lake first, so that the only thing you’d ever see of me again is my fishing hook when I came back here to catch whatever trout had the bad luck of eating you.”
5. “Familiar enough to know that if you’re calling me a ‘Delilah’ or something that’s some misogynistic bull —”
6. “Probably do a little publicity tour, once it all makes news. A few TV specials, tell-all nightly news interviews, a true crime podcast here and there. I bet I could make a good buck writing some kinda fucking memoir or something about this shit. Everyone would eat it up, you know, out of guilt, ‘cause —” she paused, raising her pitch a bit in nasally mocking, “‘cause we should really be focusing on the victims, not making the perpetrators famous,” she chimed, followed by a dismissive wave of her hand at the thought. “But you know, they’d still all be reading it to see what I said about you of course. But no skin off my ass, as long as they buy it. Figure I could spend… two, maybe three months as America’s sweetheart, then slip back into anonymity. Live off the royalties. The occasional consulting fee, anytime someone decides to make a movie about you and your fuckin’ cult.”
7. “Head wasn’t that good,” she replied flatly.
8. “Yeah, pretty sure they make a pill these days for when a gal realizes she’s made that kinda mistake,” she retorted with an exaggerated batting of her eyelashes as she pulled the flask from his hand. “And if you’re the baby daddy, she really would be wising up to take it.”
9. “Oh, I’m back, baby.” She forced the smile to fall from her face, lips and brow tensing with sudden gravity. “And I’ve rigged this whole fucking mountain with explosives set to go off any second now. This thing is gonna blow sky fuckin’ high, and you and I are going to blow up with it. ’Cause I —” she feigned a gasp, brought her wrist to her brow as she threw her head back in a pantomime of being on the verge of fainting. “I can’t deny it any longer — I’m in love with you, and I want us to fucking be together forever in the fiery abyss of death.”
10. “Tell your big bwother to make his stump speeches even scawrier next time — I’m sure it’ll make the canon fodder he sends out harder to kill, if he gravels his voice a bit more.”
11. She snorted. “You worried I’m not playing with a full set or something?”
12. “I jest,” she hissed, knocking his hand away. “You haven’t fuckin’ gotten that by now? It was a fucking joke.”
13. “C’mon, that the fucking best miss church camp coachella can do to scare me?”
14. “For the fuckin’ record, I’m prolonging the void of nothingness when my organs stop functioning and I cease to exist in conscious form, not eternal damnation,” she finally spat.
15. “It’s gonna be hilarious, actually,” she replied, pushing herself off from the door frame with a parting wave. “Tell your friends!”
