Family Bonding and other Perilous Pursuits

It started with Casper High failing to fail, resulting in winning the Thomas & Martha Wayne contest despite their best efforts not to, causing them to spend the summer as interns in Gotham.

According to Danny, the miserable expirence ended after he spent the whole summer getting kidnapped because the average Gothomite was blind and couldn't tell apart a sixteen from a thirteen year old which went to it's logical extreme of him putting the Joker on life support after the clown stabbed Damian Wayne and his whole class nearly getting adopted by the Red Hood after they somehow took out the Russian mafia.

According to the birth certificate Bruce found, this was still very much the beginning and why oh why did he always get surprise relationships?! And no he was not panicking, shut up dear children.

The only one not freaking out is Damian who is eager to finally have a blood family member(s?) he doesn't have to worry about trying to kill him or usurp his place as the blood son.

Danny abruptly paused, head perking up and looking around like something was in the air. Tim and Kon glanced at each other before turning their gazes back at Danny just as the ghost boy turned back around the way they came and sped walked down the hall.

They trailed in pursuit behind their teammate and friend. Neither knew what had suddenly gotten into Phantom, but when the ghost took a sharp left and stopped, Tim figured they would find out soon.

Phantom didn't move, staring at something in the room. Tim followed his gaze, becoming slightly perturbed when he noticed that Phantom's pupils had dilated, similar to a cat's. Phantom was staring at Batman and Wonder Woman; the two engaged in some discussion across the room.

Or, more so, he was staring at the stick of kryptonite in Batman's hand.

But when thousands of years of mining the core of Krypton finally caught up to the planet, General Zod evacuated Krypton to the Phantom Zone before it exploded. Little did Zod know he led the Kryptonians to a slaughter. Years later, Danny is the only Kryptonian left alive when Kal-El finds the Phantom Projector and brings him to Earth. Danny “Phantom” Fenton is the definition of trouble. It follows him and on the days that it doesn’t he is somehow running after it. When Danny, for the need of survival, leaves Amity Park for Gotham University’s Astrophysics and Engineering programs, he only hopes that he can find a little bit of happiness. He takes up residence in Crime Alley and, for a whole year, he lives a relatively peaceful life. One night, at an ungodly hour of the morning, Danny is taking a stroll for some instant ramen, when someone attacks him from an alley. Obviously he defends himself, and, in the process, he kills none other than the Prince of Crime himself: The Joker.

He is in the middle of trying to figure out what to do when Red Hood catches him red-handed and promptly… lets him go???

Now, Danny keeps running into Red Hood while he commits unplanned crimes, and he isn’t quite sure what to make of it.
