hello new self portrait just dropped which means this is officially what i look like now

#i have glasses now!!!! i’m not very good at drawing them but i sure have them on my face at all times shdhdf #and i recently started growing out my hair!!!! my distinctive bowl cut had a good run but i’m officially moving forward #i’ve also started exaggerating my big droopy sad eyelashes a LOT in pictures lately it’s part of my core identity now or something #(that’s not true shdhdf but i think my face knew about my puppydog destiny long ago and gave me puppydog eyes)#anyway i just haven’t drew anything in forever like i think i’ve drew four things that weren’t JUST notebook doodling. all this school year #(and one of those was vent art on paper and the other one was coloring with my little sister. so i’ve drew two things on ibispaint at all)#anyway i think my glasses suit me really good and i’m also really excited i can see the world really good now #i still have some vision problems from POTS that aren’t fixed but like. i can see detail in brick walls now and i’m obsessed #house fucker behavior i’m so sorry shdhdhdff (THIS IS A JOKE AND LIE. #ive broken: a bowl i got my from my grandparents (now left w 3/4)#a glass teapot(!) that my sister got me for christmas #and just now an old corningware teacup with the gold butterfly pattern (now have 2/3 i bought it secondhand and it only came as a set of 3)#not a single butterfly or flower was spared in the pattern it literally cracked horizontally through it around the entire circumference #talk #text #mine #“dont use them if theyre so precious to you” so they can sit and collect dust??? take up space in my tiny apt??#theyre made to be used and i cherish them BECAUSE i can use them #literally as soon as that teacup broke i started bawling like it was on command #bc not only did it cut my hand in two places but i also BROKE THE DAMN TEACUP and now had to clean up all the shards #funny enough the song playing when that happened was dont wanna cry by svt

on the one hand I love glasses tanuma and wish it would become canon, but on the other I can sorta see why midorikawa might be reluctant to commit to it. not for plot reasons or anything, just that she might not want to have to change his design that significantly going forward

especially considering she apparently almost did change his design early on (give him a new haircut) and had to scrap it because it was uh. lets say unpopular (so many people told her it was ugly that she had to change it back)

tho saying that I still think she should, giving a character glasses is cool. giving long haired dudes a haircut IS objectively a fashion crime

Barista and stoner skills are so transferable. Grind up a product to a specific grind level, pack it tightly into a special container. Smoke rings and latte art are the same. Doing it makes you hotter + bisexual. There's some weird masculinity attached to certain aspects, but also queer people flock to it. Looooooots of fun toys and accessories you can get to make it better, but the basics still work well. Only difference is one you pay for the addiction, the other it pays you.
