Yeah sure Declan your dreamer brother is a little fucked up. Carmen's dreamer brother is a murderer. Her work is to kill dreamers and she says it's for the world but really it's for her personal revenge!!! She presents herself as a put together businesswoman but she's always angry, and always looking for a place for herself. She cares about dreams and sees them die because they wanted a independent life, away from their irresponsible dreamers. She put dreams to sleep, for the sins of their creators. She fell in love with the most irresponsible dreamer. She fell in love with the most destructive dream, who refuses to take her creator's punishment. She wanted to save the world for people who were long dead. She wanted a life she knew she deserved:(.

The "maybe I dreamt" you exchange in The Raven Cycle is romantic when you look at it through the lens of that series and can pass it off as improbable and representative of the fact that, in Ronan's eyes, Adam is so perfect Ronan can't believe he's real. When you realize that Ronan does eventually create an entire person and seamlessly assimilate them into the world in The Dreamer Trilogy and the fact that his greatest fear is being unable to distinguish between dreams and reality, it becomes slightly-less romantic and more like a depressing bit of foreshadowing.

-Adam to take a nap. Preferably with Ronan. Preferably for longer than 3 hours

- Gansey and Blue just like, showing up and being like ‘you really thought we were going to stay chained to a tree when someONE was sHOoting at YOU

On a scala from Dirk Strider to Hennessy how well do you handle dealing with mutliple versions of yourself?

did anyone else start reading the raven cycle when they were twelve and it was just the raven boys and then go through their entire teenage years marking time by the release of each new book, constantly online talking about blue, gansey, adam, ronan, noah, glendower, and space-time fuckery, drawing art here and writing stories and making theories here and making friends here, then getting the dreamer trilogy in their early twenties as their own world starts to shift dramatically in time with the characters, only to get to the final epilogue and start sobbing here, at this line?

because yes being a teenager sucked and this book series made it better. it made it so very much better. and we will all always love, love this group of friends because we feel like we are a part of it, but them growing up and recognizing how something more both gives and takes is so important to me. they're all moving on to relatively normal adult lives and somehow that means i can, too.

I wish the ,,Nathan was Carmen’s dream and a manifestation of her own rage” theory was true. It’d be so much better than how that whole thing got resolved in the book.

I loved greywaren EXCEPT the epilogue. I feel like it was kind of unnessecary. Like I get WHY its there I know the epilogue is cheesy because its a goodbye and all that but when i reread I’ll skip it:P.
