Hi! Can I request a scenario or one shot (whichever you prefer) with Anakin loving to touch/grab Y/N’s butt?
Hi, and yes you can <3
Tumblr media
Anakin Skywalker is an ass man through and through. Before you had taken the plunge and taken your friendship to the next level, you could practically feel his eyes burning holes into your ass. No matter how far you were standing away from him, he'd always find himself devoting every ounce of his attention to what he's honestly convinced is a gift from a higher power.
You were only shocked the first time, but it was a bit silly in hindsight when you realized just how "close" Anakin liked to be with you. He drags his eyes and hands all over your body no matter your relationship, he's just a very physical person with the one he loves. (Though you don't let yourself think about in what way until it's too late.)
He immediately grabbed two big handfuls of your ass when you had your first kiss. It's like he was spending just as much time and effort groping the fat globes as he was sucking the soul out of your tongue.
Smacking your ass is how he starts his day and giving each cheek a rough but loving squeeze is how he ends it. His default sleeping/cuddling position is your leg thrown over his torso and him keeping you there with a firm hand on your ass. His grip is so tight that you can't even roll over if it starts to get uncomfortable.
Sometimes he prefers to laze around in bed and marvel at the sight of your plump flesh in the inescapable hold of his prosthetic arm. The glint of the metal bouncing off the shimmer of your skin. He'd rather lose his other arm than hurt you, but he does enjoy pinching and prodding at your ass cheeks until there are hoards of red welts and finger shaped bruises.
He'll nuzzle when he's giving you aftercare and cleaning you up, paying extra special attention to the area. You wonder if he drags it out so long just so he'd have an excuse to paw at it, but he does that regardless of the situation, time, or place.
You're embarrassed to recall the instances where in the beginning, when you were nothing more than "very good" friends, you would spend hours debating with your handmaids over which dress made your butt look better. Which one would drive him to the point of no return, and which one would coax the drool to flow from his maw like a river of milk and honey. You used to wait until you knew he was already looking (he always was) so you could coyly drop something and bend over right in his face to pick it up.
You still do it; Anakin has come to anticipate it in every waking moment. He has to smother his hungry smile under his palms, or you'll lose the nerve.
His obsession's most tender form shows itself when he returns to their chambers after a harrowing mission or a grueling meeting with the council.
The doors slide open to reveal your tired husband, his body and soul no doubt needing to be mended in your arms. So you let him envelop you with his entire being, you allow his weight to make you sink further into the bed until you're pinned. Whether he wants to rut against you or just lie on top of you for the rest of his days and past them to the death of the universe, you are ready to receive him.
He simply shimmies his way down your back today and rests his weary head on the swell of your ass. Your boy king of the stars lets his glittering cloak of unfathomable responsibilities crumble to dust over your soft jiggling skin. Ani skirts the tip of his nose along your ass crack like he's giving it a nose kiss in greeting. He flattens his tongue and drags it up and down through whatever enticing garment you're donning, getting it and you soaked in seconds flat.
"Missed you, angel."
He is not talking to you.

“Nanami.”
“Mmh…”
His low growl is felt against your now sensitive body, making your eyes flutter shut. It was all so quick to you, but you knew it wasn’t enough for Nanami. It never was. All he could do right now was admire the beautiful mess before him, the sight of your sweet nectar adding a little shine to your folds and inner thighs, your form shaking from the intensity of your orgasm that Kento had ripped from you. The counter, once used for you to make some pastries for your beloved, turned into a surface meant for another type of meal, a meal that Kento truly wanted. You.
He doesn’t give you time to breathe, relishing in your needy cries for his name, hearing you beg for more. Yes, this was what he loved being greeted by when he came home from a grueling day at work: the sight of you, helpless and needy, all signs of refinement gone with your upturned apron and your exposed pussy waiting for him to do as he pleases. Right now, not only were you his wife, but his stress reliever, his beautiful little plaything.
A quick sound of pants being unzipped is heard after the clanking of his belt, his left hand cradling the back of your neck while the other one holds your thigh, wanting– no, needing your legs to be apart just for him. He’s been aching for you, aching for you to enable the primal part of him that craves your touch and your closeness.
“What a good girl you are,” Kento hisses, the both of you groaning in pleasure together as he sinks into you, feeling your warmth engulf his pulsing cock. Kento’s strokes were methodical, ensuring your pleasure each and every time despite his raw lust taking over his thoughts and his actions. You couldn’t even say anything in return, too stunned yet so engrossed in your growing need for your husband to say much other than his name. He doesn’t care if your nails leave a mark on his back, but he wants to see you crumble. He wants to see how he makes you full of ecstasy.
“You’re mine. Remember that.” Kento growls to you, his words spoken in tandem with his punctuating thrusts, the two of you creating a symphony of moans. He sees the way you enjoy his claim, your eyes rolling back as your lips hang open from the way he pleases you with reckless abandon.
“I know…fuck…I know all your sweet little spots…shit.”
Kento normally would be able to show some restraint, being able to wait long enough to see you crumble before he does, but not tonight. No, he ached for this release, his pace turning more rough and pronounced, more desperate. His hands grab onto your wrists, gently pinning them against the counter as your moans slowly morph into ecstatic screams, moaning his name like a mantra as you two simultaneously get closer to that familiar nirvana. You feel like you were going to lose consciousness, as though your vision would only see white in a matter of seconds as Kento’s rough pace brought a sweet change of pace into your intimacy, loving the mere idea that your pussy was being wrecked by a rather needy and pussy drunk Kento.
“Sweetheart, look at me. Look at me.”
His words were urgent, desperate, and you somehow will yourself to open your eyes, following as he requests as you moan in response. His rhythm was unstoppable, the climax you two ached for fastly approaching. You see his lips curve up into a smile, glistening with your essence all over his mouth and chin, looking almost animalistic as he sees his effect on you. This is the control he wishes to regain amidst the unknown that he witnesses in his job. This is the sight he wants to be greeted with after a long day’s work: his wife, full of as much love and desire for him as he has for her.
“That’s it sweetheart,” he growls, his thrusts growing erratic. “Look at me while you cum.”

pairing: chishiya x gn!reader (no pronouns used) genre: angst word count: 821
warnings: blood, death, canon-typical violence, death
includes: possibly ooc chishiya, kinda hurt no comfort ?? very angsty lol, ambiguous ending
summary: after a grueling battle with the king of spades, you search for chishiya in your final moments
Tumblr media
and if you go, i wanna go with you / and if you die, i wanna die with you
carnage.
the only thing you can see is carnage. blood seeps into the asphalt around you. you’re not sure if it’s yours.
the fabric of your t-shirt is stuck to your skin. each shaky breath you take is shallow as you force the air into your lungs. your hands tremble as you lift them up towards the sky. deep red streaks are embedded into your flesh. your vision is blurry. you feel disoriented. everything hurts.
“chishiya,” you whisper. his name leaves your lips like a prayer. squinting at the sky, you almost confuse the sun for his warmth. the light is far more comforting than the hard ground below.
“y/n?” someone asks from beside you. her voice is shaky. she sounds familiar. kuina. “are you okay?”
“chishiya,” you repeat. “i need to find him.” squeezing your eyes shut, you push yourself to sit up. your head aches. you’re not sure how far you’re able to move. the world spins for a second before everything pauses for a second.
you take the opportunity to glance around. the alleyway has a fresh coating of red splattered across the walls. stray bullet holes leave tiny windows into the nearby buildings. your skin is coated in a heavy layer of filth and grime.
every muscle in your body tenses as you push yourself even farther. in a blur, you’re finally standing. you lean against the wall for support, shuffling your feet against the ground as you slowly begin to move.
there’s even more wreckage outside of the alleyway. debris litters the earth below. blood and gore decorate your surroundings. bile rises in your throat at the sight, but you continue pushing yourself to move regardless. i can afford to be selfish just this once, you reason. if i’m going to die, i might as well die with my lover.
retracing your steps is easier than you had expected. you stumble past aguni, paying no mind to the blank look in his eyes as he stares up at the sun. there are a million things he could be looking for. you don’t care about any of them. not anymore.
you grunt when you lose your balance once again, tripping over your own feet. you tumble into a nearby car; your body slams into the side of the vehicle. a part of you worries about setting off the alarm but it is quickly squandered by the realization that the owner is likely dead. at least there’s no one left to be annoyed by the repetitive noise.
“y/n?” he breaks the silence with a breathless whisper. he looks more shocked than you do. tears sting in your eyes.
you leave a trail of blood in your wake as you slide against the side of the cool metal. you maneuver yourself around to the other edge of the car before abruptly stopping. time freezes.
you blink once. then again. a third time. you rack your brain in an attempt to make sense of the sight of the man before you. chishiya.
“‘shiya.” you let yourself collapse onto the ground beside him. your knees buckle under the weight of relief - or maybe the strain from moving. you’re not sure anymore.
chishiya is quick to grab onto you, letting you lean your aching body against his. your blood seeps into the white fabric of his jacket. his fingers grip your arms before moving upwards to support your face.
chishiya’s hand slips away from your face to instead press against your side. you hiss at the pressure, coiling into yourself. “i’m sorry,” he whispers. you already know that he is. that he’d take away your pain if he could. that he wishes he could do more.
you look at him through blurry vision. tears roll down your cheeks in waves. his touch is gentle as he wipes them away.
“y/n,” he repeats. you can feel his gaze all over you - scanning your body for the worst injury. the one he should treat first. bad habits die hard, you suppose.
you bury your face into the crook of his neck. chishiya has let up on the pressure. instead, his arms rest gingerly around your waist, keeping you wrapped comfortably in his hold. you’re grateful.
“i love you.” your words slur together. you’re sure they’re nearly inaudible as you mumble them against his skin.
“i love you too,” chishiya whispers. each syllable is clear as it leaves his lips but you know him well enough to recognize the small waver that stings at the end of each word. you know him well enough to know his grip around your body is tight for a reason. you know him well enough to know that the tears staining your cheeks are not only your own.
you can hear fireworks in the distance. closing your eyes, you allow darkness to surround you. you imagine the beautiful hues of colour decorating the sky as the world finally fades away.

✧ LOVE ME AGAIN WITH CARMY BERZATTO
Tumblr media
→ carmy berzatto x reader
→ you and carmy have always had a volatile relationship, and when you decide to break up for good, things seem to take a turn for the worst. carmy misses you and you miss him. everything could change when the bear opens.
→ warning: anxiety, angst, some signs of depression, light smut nothing to worry about
→ 4kish
Tumblr media
Your relationship with Carmy was always going to be stormy.
While your friends spent their Valentine's Day in fancy restaurants and luxurious hotels, your Valentine's Day was depressing and lonely with a meaningless box of take-out and too much cheap wine. And then the next day was even worse. The regret and bitterness. The anguish and the fear of losing you, it all came at once, and you could feel Carmy slipping through your fingers like sand, fast and at great cost.
And it wasn't as if he didn't care. You lived in Carmy Berzatto's mind twenty-four hours a day. You'd still be there if the days had more hours. He had too much feeling and not enough showing. And that killed him a bit every day. For it was you. You who comforted him after Mikey's death, you who bandaged all his cut fingers after a grueling day at The Beef. It was you, who watched him take over a new restaurant and start all over again.
You were there and Carmy hated himself for not being able to do the same.
There were times when he was lost in his own head. Fear ate him from within and breathing seemed almost impossible. There were countless times when you received messages from Sydney or even Natalie, when he accepted that he was in need of something, someone. From you. And it was never easy, because he made everything so difficult for himself. He did not want to involve you in the vortex of anxious thoughts that were occupying his mind. He didn't want to drag you into the personal hell that his mind had concocted.
But pushing you away was tantamount to losing you. And for Carmy, it was only a matter of time. Just as the sky is blue and water is liquid and so on, losing you was inescapable. One day it would happen. He didn't know when, but predicting the worst had been a common part of his life.
Then you hoped he would be there on one of the most important nights of your life. You had worked long and hard, and all your family and friends were coming to see the hard work you put into your art. You were happy in spite of everything. It had always been your dream to be recognized for your art, and to see the people you love the most recognizing it, honoring you for it, was priceless.
You kept glancing at the gallery door, waiting for Carmy to appear before you like a perfect dream come true. And with each passing second, it was clear to you that this was not the case. Almost twenty calls and thirty texts and no answer. At this point, you had no interest in the question of where he might be.
And somehow you could understand Carmy's busy and chaotic life. He had too many responsibilities, his mind was like an endless to-do list, and things just kept popping up, even more so after The Bear situation. But the selfish and unselfish part of your twisted mind wanted him to be there, to make time in his evening to be with you. After all, what was important to him was important to you as well. But often it didn't seem that way. And that was hard to deal with.
You heard the door of the small apartment you shared open just after two in the morning. It was dark. Only the lamp was on, which made for a calm atmosphere despite the usual tension in the house. And as soon as he entered the room and saw a suitcase packed at the foot of the bed, you could see the mixture of awe and panic on Carmy's face.
For a few seconds, he just stood there like that. Just standin' there. Blue eyes fading in something you no longer recognized. The distance between the two of you was almost palpable. Your heart crushed in your chest, shattering into a thousand little pieces.
Carmy lowered his head with a sense of defeat. The day he had been dreading had come, and he felt nothing but stupid and incompetent for allowing it to happen, even though he knew it was going to happen. The trembling in his hands was real, and he had to hide them behind the rest of his body so that they wouldn't be noticed.
"I'm sorry." It was the sound of his voice, almost in tatters, that did your heart in.
Carmy looked at you, shaking hands through his disheveled hair. This isn’t something he wanted to say goodbye to. What he had with you was the most beautiful part of his life. To lose you is to lose everything. And he didn't want to lose it all.
One tear ran down your cheek. You wiped it away before a single tear could turn into a few. You wouldn't know how to stop if you dared to cry now.
You said, "There are some leftovers from the dinner in the oven. I've sorted out your last few bills so you can get organized without having to worry, and..."
"I'm so sorry."
"...and the key is where it should be. If there is anything you need, Carmen, you can give me a call and..."
"No. No. I'm sorry."
The realization hit Carmy as hard as rock. He was on his knees in front of you. Feeling his hands around your wrists, you closed your eyes. There was something familiar and cruel about the calluses and the way his thumb brushed the inside of your arm.
You were so much in love with him that it hurt. Loving him like that, it hurt physically.
"I'm sorry. I'm going to be better. I'll get better, I'll focus on the things that matter and... I swear. I promise you, just... Please." His voice was like knives. They cut deeply and hurt.
You gulped, trying to escape the ocean of blue before them. There was so much pain in Carmy's eyes that all you wanted to do was hug him, take care of him and tell him that everything would be okay. But this cycle had to end, and you'd done it countless times.
You tried to get up from your shared bed, but Carmy stopped you. "Carm." You whispered in an attempt to get him to stop.
"Please." He whispered back.
"It's not working. You know I... I can't."
"I fucking love you. You're... I..." Carmy sighed and moved away, sitting down on the carpet a few steps away.
There were so many things that he wanted to say, but he couldn't. Carmy had the feeling that the floor was opening up and his body was being dragged into this black hole. His heart was beating so fast. He thought it would explode out of his chest. If he was the reason you were leaving, how could he beg you to stay?
And he knew it. He had been reading the signs. All the times he'd been late, even when you'd agreed to go out to eat together. All the dates he didn't show up for. The anniversary that hadn't worked out. That trip to Europe. All the things that piled up. He knew it, and he was there, and he was letting it happen.
But at the same time, he knew that you deserved better than that. You deserve someone who would give you time and love. Who would be there every day. Who would learn to love you the way you deserved. The love he felt for you was far greater than he was able to express, but that would have been egotistical of him.
Sometimes love is not enough. You have been the living proof of that.
"Carm. Look at me."
You knelt before him. He touched your hands once more, which were now touching his damp face. The last thing he would remember, besides your watery eyes, would be the scent of pear and vanilla that permeated your sweater.
"You'll be fine. I hope you're fucking happy and that all your hard work pays off. I'm your biggest fan. You know that, right?" You tried to put on a smile but failed miserably. "Carmen Berzatto, I will always support you.”
Everything I've achieved is meaningless without you, Carmy wanted to say, but couldn't.
Only your ragged breath broke the cruel, melancholy silence.
You wiped your face and got to your feet, ready to leave. Ready to leave behind all of the memories that you had with the man that you loved the most.
Before you left, Carmy looked at you and said, "All those things, they were true. They were real."
You understood his meaning and agreed with a nod of your head.
And so it was only at 2:47 a.m. when you finally left the apartment, that you allowed yourself a good cry.
Tumblr media
It had been two months since you and Carmy had broken up. You hadn't heard from him since.
The only close contact you had with Carmy was Sydney, but you had been clear when you mentioned that she could only talk about him if it was something urgent. And nothing urgent had come up in two months.
You missed him, you couldn't deny it. Life was hell with him gone. Despite all that was bad and rotten, Carmy was kind, gentle, chivalrous, and cared about your feelings. You missed all the mundane things, even the times you ate packs of cheese balls while watching a movie, just waiting for the part where his hand would accidentally slip up your thigh and the movie session would turn into a making out session.
You tried to move on, except for the significant absence of him in your life. Grocery shopping was no longer the same. No cashew juice or fancy, barely pronounceable fruit and spice names. Just the usual bland basics. Maybe that was what it was like to live without Berzatto.
It was a rainy Tuesday, one of those Tuesdays when you just wanted to stay in and not have to deal with any obligations. You were one of the unfortunate ones who had to deal with adult life and buy parmesan cheese because your sister was the only one who could make macaroni and cheese worth eating. There was a place you only knew about thanks to Carmy that sold quality products.
The rain had made your hair wet, and the guard at the small market smiled sympathetically when he saw the miserable situation you found yourself in. You nearly laughed at yourself. Basket in hand, you wandered the aisles singing a pop song from the radio. Your eyes scanned the perimeter of the dairy aisle, and with your finger, you tried to select the best product.
Parmesan, in hand, you froze to the floor. The voice in the back of your head was so familiar, so ghostly, that it made you turn around in a hurry.
And there he stood. In the white shirt and the tattered jeans. His sandy hair so tousled that you felt your hand involuntarily clench in the desire to touch him, to feel his softness. You thought about calling him up, to say hi. The question in your mind was whether it would be too weird. Or perhaps not.
A woman with dark hair and sky blue eyes walked up to him, leaned her chin on his shoulder and whispered into his ear. Both of them laughed. You felt your heart sink.
Carmy turned around, a small smile on his face, and when you least expected it... they were kissing.
You felt as if time stopped running. That millisecond was etched in time. You could hear the gasping breath tearing at your chest, the tears gathering at the waterline, and your heart crashing again, for the same person.
"What are you doing? It's like you went to make that damned Parmesan, and I had to check to see if anything was wrong..." As your vision blurred, your sister's voice echoed in the back of your mind.
"Let's get out of here."
"What happened?" She tried to get you to look at her, but you just kept pushing her toward the marketplace.
"Let's take it somewhere else."
"But you said..."
"I'm aware of my words. Now let's just go."
As you dragged your sister down the aisle, Carmy could have sworn he heard something that sounded like you. But he couldn't really be a judge of his own conscience. Unable to tell what was real and what was not, he had been hallucinating for days. He would hear your voice and swear that he saw you somewhere, only to not be able to see you there.
"Are you okay?" Claire asked with a light squeeze of his hand.
"Yes, of course. Let's get going?" Carmy said, forcing a smile. Claire agreed and gave him a kiss again.
Carmen didn't want to relive ghosts from the past, no matter what had happened.
Tumblr media
A week later, Sydney and Sugar had a text message that The Bear was finally open for business. The first night they were only opening for friends and family. They insisted that you should come. That it was important not only to themselves but also to Carmy.
You weren't sure about that. You had no idea what to do when you got there, because your presence could mean so many things. And despite everything, there was the news that still lingered in your mind: Carmy had met somebody.
Selfishness wasn't for you. You didn't want his eternal devotion. After all, you had put an end to the relationship. But when it came to him, that little feeling of envy and jealousy still existed. Because in spite of it all, you never stopped loving him.
"Well, you know what? Fuck it."
You yell at the top of your lungs before you start rummaging through your closet until you find the perfect dress to wear.
You once told Carmy that you would always be his biggest supporter and that you would always be true to your word.
You were greeted by Sugar. She looked gorgeous with her pregnant belly and a radiant smile when she saw you.
She said, "I can't believe you came!" She hugged you in a consoling way that only the Berzatto's could do. "You look so beautiful, honey."
"Nah. This is beautiful." You point to the room. "Look at you, Sug!"
"Come on. I'll show you your table." Sugar made her way among the tables. They were already crowded with familiar faces.
You looked amazed. "I'm seated?"
"Of course, dummy. You're one of us. I hope being away hasn't made you forget that."
You hugged her once more. Then you sat down at a small table with your name on it.
"Make yourself at home. We'll serve you soon."
"Thank you, Sug."
Fak almost kicked in the door, breathless. Sydney gave him an annoyed look as she tried to shake off so many orders in front of her, then whispered, "What the hell, Fak."
"She's here."
"Who's here?" Carmy asked, not even bothering to look at Fakerson.
"Your girl." Fak said smiling. "I mean, your ex-girl...?"
"Claire's here?" Sydney said, confused.
"Claire is here?" Carmy looked at him, completely taken aback.
"Why would Claire be here? I thought you guys broke up." Richie shot back before leaving the kitchen.
"Thanks, cousin." Carmy said, noticeably irritated.
"I thought it was obvious they broke up." Sydney grimaced.
"Guys?" Losing a little patience, Carmy put his hands on his waist.
"Wait. You and Claire broke up? Uh, Jeff..." Tina came over to Carmy's station with a pair of frying pans.
"Chefs! Appreciate the interest in my love life. Now, focus, please!" Carmy shouted. Everyone scattered to their stations. "Fak, who the fuck is out there?"
Fak started to speak, but before he could finish what he wanted to say, Richie appeared, wide-eyed.
"She's here."
And Carmy felt his whole body fall numb before he could even understand. It wasn't Claire. The last time they saw each other, she had made it clear that she didn't want any kind of involvement if he still had someone else on his mind.
And from Richie's smile, that could only mean one thing.
Carmy Berzatto was fucked.
Tumblr media
Ten minutes had passed and Carmy had already cut his finger twice and almost burned the salmon. His mind was on the small pane of glass that was the partition between the salon and the kitchen.
You, sitting alone at a table, so beautiful and angelical that he felt his chest ache. And he couldn't tell if it was the black turtleneck dress, or your hair, or the red lipstick that outlined every curve of your mouth.
Carmy was at a loss. To bring him back to reality, Sydney had to yell at him five times. There was a kitchen to run and many dishes to do.
Richie appeared at your table from time to time. First it was with your favorite wine. Then with your main course, because you hated appetizers and you were sure it was a Carmy thing. Pork burger with gravy and tomato salad with red onion and Diet Coke. Carmy's first meal when you started dating, right in The Beef's old kitchen. He fed you. Then you had the most intense sex in his office.
Carmy knew what he was doing when he used food to bring back memories. So do you.
Sugar appeared again after dessert: pineapple ice cream with blackberries and wine. The restaurant was already very empty, only three tables were occupied, one of them being Sydney's relatives and Natalie's husband.
"Hey. So I had a talk with Carmy and he asked me if you could stay a bit longer..."
"I'm not sure."
"He wants to talk to you."
You had no idea what would come out of this conversation. What you had seen weeks ago still hurt. Talking might hurt you both more.
"Sug, I don't know..."
"Look, I get it. I really do. I'm not just saying this because I care about him. I know he has a lot of feelings for you. I saw how bad he was after you broke up, honey. I don't know what came of it, but... If you still care about Carm, please. I beg you. Talk to him, will you?"
It took a couple of seconds and Natalie was starting to think that you were going to get up and walk away.
"All right, then. I'm waiting."
Tumblr media
"Good night, Chef!" Sydney was the last one out the backdoor.
Carmy leaned against the counter and ran his hand over his face. What was he thinking when he asked you to stay?
Now he could see the empty lounge. You sitting there, sipping your last glass of wine. Natalie, afraid of something worse, looked at your table and the kitchen every five seconds.
It was after one in the morning. You were impatient. Fear was eating you alive.
You stood up from the table and patiently walked over to Natalie. "May I go now?"
"He's in there. I'm leaving. Pete's waiting for me outside. Honey... Thank you for your patience. If you need anything, call me. Nice seeing you."
You said goodbye in a hug. "So do I, Nat. Thank you so much for everything."
It was only when you turned to the kitchen door and saw his silhouette inside, waiting for you, that you realized you were alone with Carmy. As you walked slowly, you gathered your thoughts.
Just as you opened the door, Carmen turned around. And by God... you couldn't look more beautiful. Your wine red cheeks contrasted with your red lips and it was driving him insane.
"Hey, Carm." Your voice struggled to come out. Carmy almost broke into a smile when he heard it.
"Hey." He whispered. "Thanks for coming."
"You know I wouldn't miss it. I'm happy for you guys. This place... It's beautiful, Carmy. What you've done to this place... It's just incredible."
"I wish I could have shown it to you sooner, but... Yeah." An awkward smile and a scratch at the back of his head. "Thank you."
You bit your lip, worried. "Did you want to... talk?"
"Yes. I, um, do. I don't really know what... I just... I wanted to see you." He agreed, a little awkwardly. "Sorry."
"For what?"
"Everything. I guess."
"Berzatto, history is history."
"No, it isn't." In denial, he took a step closer to you. "If history is history, then why don't I stop thinking about you?"
He had you by surprise. "Carmy."
"I mean it. None of it matters. Why... You're the only person who knows my heart by heart. You're my only true opener. And I know, I know I've failed you a thousand times and you probably deserve a luckier jerk than me."
Carmy felt overwhelmed. Exhausted.
"I love you. I love you so much that it scares me because I've never felt shit like this for anyone, you know? This feeling that suffocates and eats you alive, this shit scares me. And I know I'm a fucking psycho, but that's who I am, and I want you more than I've ever wanted anything in my life. I just... Fuck!"
He sniffled. He was trying to get rid of his watery eyes and all the humiliation that came with them.
You were in sheer shock. Carmy had never been so vulnerable as now and the whole situation was startling and unfamiliar to you.
"That's pathetic. I'm sorry." Disguising his shame with self-deprecation, he tried to laugh it off.
"Carmy." You took a step back, getting close enough to see how flushed he was. "Why didn't you ever tell me any of this stuff before?"
"Because I was scared. When something good happens to me..."
"You have an automatic assumption of the worst."
He agrees and looks down. You sigh and look at the countertop where his hands are. Exposed tattoos, each screaming for your silent touch.
"If all of this is real. Then why were you kissing her?"
"Claire?" He seemed surprised you knew her. "It didn't last. I don't know... I don't know what the hell I was thinking. In fact, I have a pretty good idea where my thoughts were. It just wasn't about her."
"Carm." You whispered, fingering his hand. "I don't care about the vanity. I just want to know if it's for real. If everything you've said is true."
Carmy felt his heart explode in her chest. Like a rough sea, his eyes watered. He took your hand and held it as he took one last step. The last step for the two of you to merge into one. Like a trap, his lips captured yours. Carmy was beastly, wild, desperate. There was an eagerness in his touch, and in the way that his lips moved around yours.
One of his hands went straight to your neck, gripping it tightly, while the other squeezed the skin around your waist. As he pressed you against the bench, deepening the kiss and moving your head as he pleased, a gasp escaped your lips. You were breathless. You felt narcotized by the longing for him again.
And it wasn't just a physical need. It was a lust for the meeting of souls.
"Is this real enough for you?" Carmy said after the kiss, sucking your lip and making sure you looked deep into his eyes.
You kissed him again with no time to lose. This time you made your way through the kitchen, knocking over utensils and pans along the way until you found your way to the office. Carmy rushed to close it, barely breathing.
Once again, he pinned you against the wall and held your wrists so that you wouldn't be able to escape even for a second. His lips explored your skin, every inch of it, so that you would never forget the taste. He wanted to carve his name into your skin, to worship you, to be devoted to your body and your love forever.
He had never felt anything so intense, and as frightening as it was, it was wonderful.
"Carmy." You whimpered as you felt his hands on your skin, on sensitive spots that made your eyes roll back.
"For old times' sake?"
"For old times' sake."

The passage of time can heal the deepest of wounds, but if the wound is not properly healed, it can make the cut deeper.
It has been 3 months...
Exactly three months since you were left lying on your bed, naked, crying and alone. Your heart had been ripped out and stomped on from the man you truly longed for.
Since then, you had convinced yourself to move on.
To completely forget about him and all the memories you shared.
It wasn't easy, seeing as though you had to see his human vessel, Yuji Itadori every day.
Sukuna's painful resemblance to Yuji was a hard pill to swallow. The only difference being Sukuana's strange black markings.
But, eventually, with the passage of time, you did get over it, the pill becoming easier to swallow with just a little water.
Finding different people and substances to take your mind off the pain truly did suffice. Each time you had slept with a different man, it became a little easier. And each time, Sukuna strayed further and further from your mind, until he was nothing but a distant memory.
A memory that no longer held any importance to you.
People say that time can heal the deepest of wounds, and for you, that rang true.
But for Sukuna, he couldn't say the same.
While the days have been short and peaceful for you, they have been truly grueling and agonizing for him.
Each passing day led Sukuna more astray. He was losing his mind, and it didn't help that most days all he could do was sit on his throne, watching Yuji go about his day.
Watching Yuji interact so causally with you.
His thoughts began to eat at him, rotting his brain until there was only one thing remaining.
The only thought he had that was of any importance to him was of you.
Ever since that grim night three months back, you had slithered your way into his thoughts, consuming his entire being like a parasite.
All he could think about was you.
All his thoughts were of your naked body.
Your body exposed to him and him alone.
Only available for his viewing pleasure.
His thoughts kept returning to the pretty sounds you would make while he ruts his cock deep into your cunt. Those lovely cries and sobs as he would eat your dripping wet pussy, licking every last drop as though it was his final meal. Those choked moans that would escape your mouth as you took every inch of his thick cock.
Oh, how your legs would shake when you were on the verge of cumming, and how you fit him so well.
Moreover, all he could think about was the crestfallen look that was rested upon your face as he slapped you and told you how much of a useless human you were.
Sukuna couldn't deny it any longer, despite his constant inner battle telling him his feelings of compassion and infatuation were nothing but the feeling of lust.
He missed you, and he was starving without you. You were the only meal that could feed his insatiable hunger.
Three long months without getting to feel you, to taste you, to ravage you.
Three long months simply not being in your presence.
Sure, you hung with Yuji all the time, but it wasn't the same.
It wasn't good enough for him.
Every time he got the chance to control the body, you would turn the other cheek. You wouldn't even give him a second glance as you strutted away with your head held high, which bothered him to no end.
You had taken a liking to Gojo too. You spent way more time with him, and Sukuna definitely suspected a platonic fucking happening between the two of you.
In fact, almost every Jujutsu sorcerer in Tokyo Metropolitan Tech. knew about you and Gojo canoodling.
The screams emitting from his room at 12 a.m., and the banging sounds from his headboard hitting the wall says enough.
The fact he couldn't do anything about Gojo drove him to his wits ends.
Which leaves you here, back where it all started three months ago...
You were pressed against the wall with Sukuna's hands pinned on both sides of you, rendering you unable to move. His knee was placed in between your legs for extra measures. Your dorm door was shut and locked, which meant Sukuna was surely to catch you if you tried to leave.
You couldn't fight him; he was stronger by 10-fold.
So, all you could do was bare your teeth and wait for this to be over.
"Why have you been acting like a bitch you worthless worm!"
"Geez Sukuna, I don't know. Maybe it's because you're a total self-centered dick who only cares about himself!"
Your faces were so close you could feel his breath on your face. His intense stare alone would have been able to make a grown man back down.
But not you. You stood your ground, not giving him the satisfaction of winning.
You were done letting him win. He would have no control over you anymore!
"I'm a curse princess. I take what I want, and I want you, so get on your damn knees!"
You grabbed Sukuna's shoulders and kneed him in the groin.
"No, I will never bow down to you again! I am done being your plaything!" Your voice echoed throughout the room. A single tear slipped past your eye, but you weren't sad. That tear was not from sadness.
More so, it was a tear of anger, relief, and freedom.
Sukuna faltered a bit, but your attempts to remove him were not enough. His head snapped back towards you; his rage-induced eyes said it all. Before he could make his move, there was a faint knock at the door, which froze both of you in your places.
"Is everything all right in there."
It was Gojo's voice.
"Gojo come in!" you yelled.
The door being locked posed no problem for the white-haired sorcerer. He was easily able to gain access. Once he was in, his eyes wandered the room in confusion, his brow lifting every so slightly.
Yuji was lying on your bed, while you stood awkwardly at the foot, giving him a small wave. Gojo hummed before turning on his heel and walking out. You could hear him mumbling down the hall about how disgusting the two of you were.
Unbeknownst to him, that was not what had happened. But Gojo didn't need to know that. In fact, if you were to tell him what had actually occurred, it would no doubt boost his ego higher than it already was, and nobody wants that.
No one.
So, deciding to claim your victory today, you let Yuji be as you walked out of your room.
You had won the battle and that's all that matters.
It was a small price to pay for the rumors of you and Yuji that would circulate around the school.

tti episode 3
“Last time on Total! Takes! Island! An Awake-a-Thon tested the patience of every camper, and left a few with some pretty wicked injuries. Caesar won the victory for the Flying Fujoshis, and Joner hit the hay and left his buddies Michael and McLovin behind. Will any alliances stay intact for more than just one episode? Will Frollo recover from his blunt force trauma? Find out today on Total! Takes! Island!”
---
The mess hall feels more crowded than usual today as every camper huddles around their table. Most are still sleepy from the past challenge, but some are in full gear.
“We need to get our act together,” Max insists, drawing out a little game plan on his plate of mysterious brown slop, only pausing to glare at Frollo as he speaks. “We can’t afford to lose over petty personal differences.”
Frollo glares back, his eyes cold and gaze icy. Julia responds with a sigh, rolling her eyes to the ceiling. “So what’s your plan, then, Mr. Man?”
“I don’t appreciate your tone,”
“I don’t appreciate your face!”
“Woah, let’s cool down, alright?” Austin says, holding out his arms between them as if they were to pounce on each other at any moment. “Take a chill pill, baby!”
Max pushes his arm down. “I’d ask you to kindly keep your peace and love away from me, thank you,”
Austin sighs and sits back. “Only trying to keep us together, mate. We’re on a team, aren’t we?”
Only Kelly seems to agree as everyone glares daggers at each other. Max sighs. “As much as I hate to admit it, the hippie is right. As I said, we need to put our personal differences aside if we want to keep winning,”
“He’s right,” Scruffy chimes in, swallowing a spoonful of slop without a second thought. Everyone winces. “Speaking from the lens of a TDI historian, the most successful teams, alliances, and friendships are built off of practical cooperation.”
“Thank you,”
Julia rolls her eyes.
Things are looking much more peaceful over at the Fujoshis table as they chat merrily. Courtney is wedged at the very end of the table, using McLovin as a shield to keep them away from Mal, who’s surrounded by Ass and Patrick.
“And I’m covered by the company health insurance, so if I sustain any lasting injuries, it comes straight out of McLean’s pocket,” Caesar chuckles, using his spoon to form the breakfast gruel into pancake-shaped patties, somewhat fit for consumption.
Bonnie shakes their head in bewilderment. “And you got all this stuff, how, exactly? Threatened to sue?”
“Not exactly,” he smiles. “Back home, I run a very popular Total Drama-themed Hunger Games simulation show on local cable and online. It got so big, the execs here threatened to sue. I sent my fans after them and they issued a formal apology, which included an invitation to their newest season.”
“Oh, yeah, I’ve seen that!” Peter says, nodding enthusiastically. “It’s so awesome, my friends and I take bets on who wins!”
Bonnie scoffs, shaking their head with a smile. “Lucky,”
“I threatened to sue, but the court dismissed my case,” Patrick chimes in. “On the grounds of not actually having been on the island.”
“If only the courts were evil,” Bonnie jokes.
“If only the courts were evil in my favor,”
Bonnie chuckles. Kitty reaches into their apron pocket and pulls out a handful of candy and hands it to Patrick. “For your troubles,” they whisper.
Patrick blinks. “Thank you,”
“Alright, campers!” Chris shouts. “Your next challenge starts in ten minutes- be prepared to bring it!”
“Corny. Same line he used in the original,” Scruffy mutters.
---
The dodgeball emporium is already set up, a shiny glass athletic center that puts the rest of the island’s amenities to shame. That can only mean one thing- Chris is very enthusiastic about going all out for today's torture.
“I still feel exhausted,” Kelly sighs, stretching. “I didn’t get a wink of sleep last night, either.”
“Bad dreams, baby?” Austin asks.
“One of the girls was snoring,”
All of the girls and such on the Inane Anons turn to Michael, who looks back, confused. “Wasn’t me. I was up all night, too,”
Kelly shrugs. “It’s no problem. Just a bit tired,”
“Today’s challenge is everyone’s favorite: dodgeball! The first rule is don’t get hit. Second is that if you catch the ball, the thrower is out and the catcher gets to bring another team member out onto the court! And some other stuff,”
“Great. Okay, we only need five players,” Max says. “Who’s gonna sit this out with Kelly?”
“No, no- I’ll play!” Kelly insists. Max raises an eyebrow, but shrugs. "I guess it makes sense to save the best for last. Get in under the radar and then surprise them last minute. Frollo, Staci, you're on. I'll go too, and-"
“If Kelly’s going, I am too, baby!”
"Whatever. Just don't try to "make love not war" them to death,"
Courtney, Mal, Patrick, McLovin, and Peter stand opposite to them, not looking very happy. Courtney turns to the rest of their team. “Just focus on dodging for now. If you see an opportunity, take it, but no one get themselves hurt,”
“But if you do-” Mal interjects, much to Courtney’s annoyance. “There’s no shame in losing!”
“Yes there is,” Patrick says.
“Alright, ready? Set? Play ball!” Chris blows into his whistle.
Courtney sighs. “Just focus on keeping in the game!”
A ball immediately flies from the opposite side and tags Peter directly in the neck. Staci and Austin high-five. He wheezes on the ground for a few minutes as his teammates stare in shock, and then Chef drags him off the court.
“What did I just ask?!”
Another ball flies by and Patrick barely dodges, though it bounces off the glass wall and smacks McLovin in the back of the head, flattening him on the ground.
Courtney sighs as Chef scrapes McLovin off the floor with a shovel. “Alright, it’s on!”
They aim for Frollo- the easiest target, since he’s still all bruised from his earlier divine encounter- and toss the first ball from their side.
Frollo holds out his Bible like a shield. “The Power of Christ compels y-”
The ball hits him in the gut and he wheezes, drops to his knees, and then curls up on the floor. Max groans and puts his head in his hands.
Kelly yawns and weakly tosses a ball, which simply bounces across the floor and lands at Patrick’s feet with a weak squeak. Patrick picks it up and in one throw, takes out Kelly and a poor, derelict Austin trying to help them stay awake.
Mal swerves across the court, dribbling her ball and dodging throws from the remaining Inane Anons before throwing it, hitting Max with such a force he’s thrown into the glass behind them. She turns to smirk at Courtney, and is promptly hit in the head with a throw from Staci.
Patrick aims straight for Staci’s face, but they catch the ball and use it to take both Patrick and Courtney out. The Inane Anons win the round with a cheer.
“We need to get in gear,” Courtney says, rubbing their sore side. “Not to live up to my namesake, but I’m gonna go all Type A on this team if we don’t start working together!”
“I agree completely,” Mal smirks. Courtney glares at her.
Kelly falls asleep on the bleachers, and Michael takes their place. Julia, O, and Scruffy also step in, and the Fujoshis come up with Courtney, Ass, Caesar, Bonnie, and McLovin.
"You sure you can handle this?" Ass asks Caesar. "Getting hit in the hair will still count you out."
He chuckles. "If I can swerve paparazzi and desperate fans on an average trip to the grocery store, I can handle this, easy. Bonnie? Care to join?"
Bonnie jogs over and the two stand back to back.
---
BONNIE: "I mostly do online gaming now, but back before I had access to my computer setup and my tablets, I used to go to the Chuck-e-Cheese's," they smirk. "Not to brag, but you're looking at the regional skee ball and Pop-a-Shot champion."
---
Bonnie and Caesar give each other a smile before team up sweeping the game in the blink of an eye, taking out three Anons and leaving the rest to Courtney and Ass. Only McLovin gets tagged out by a seemingly very-determined Michael, to which he glares.
Courtney grins, some hint of assurance on their face. “I’m gonna step out to save energy. Ass and Bonnie, stay in,”
“I’ll Sha-Go too!” Sha-Mod bounds forward.
“Erm, no offense, but…” Caesar gestures to the picture taped over their face. “Aren’t you a little visually impaired?”
“My other senses are heightened,”
Caesar shrugs. “Our funeral,”
"If I may?" Mal asks, smiling sweetly. "Peter hasn't gotten a chance to play again."
Peter looks up from where he'd been watching a bug crawl around on the floor with big eyes.
"No offense, but this isn't exactly taking turns on your brother's tricycle," Caesar says.
Courtney nods, glaring at Mal with a suspicious stare. "Yeah... I don't know if he's really up to the task,"
"I have faith in him," Mal smiles confidently. "Go take a breather, Caesar."
Caesar rolls his eyes and walks off as the game begins, much to Bonnie's and Courtney's dismay.
Julia takes out Sha-Mod almost instantly, and barely misses Peter. “Ow!”
A flash of anger crosses Mal’s face. “Come ON! AIM!” Everyone raises an eyebrow at her, and she catches herself, changing to a smile and a nervous laugh as she pretends to help Sha-Mod up.
Peter is taken out seconds later, and as Mal stifles a grin a stray ball catches her in the stomach and she collapses. Peter groans and is dragged off court. Sha-Mod follows. They leave Mal on the floor.
Ass and Bonnie aim for Michael, but Julia tags out Bonnie just in time, distracting Ass long enough for Kelly to swoop in and steal the lead.
“One more game, one more chance!” Courtney insists. “Patrick, you’re in. Anyone else who thinks they can-”
“I- I wanna try,” Peter wheezes.
Ass and Courtney raise an eyebrow in sync.
“I don't think that’s such a good idea, little buddy,” Patrick says, smirking slightly.
“I have… to prove my worth,”
"I say we give him one last chance, huh?" Mal smiles.
Courtney starts to say something, but the rest of the team cuts in. Ass shrugs. “Whatever, just don't get hit!”
Patrick, Peter, McLovin, Caesar, and Sha-Mod stand against Kelly, Austin, Max, Scary, and Scruffy.
“Piece of cake!” Sha-Mod grins directly before Kelly aims straight for the jugular.
Patrick dodges a ball from Scary, watching it bounce against the glass wall and fall to his feet with a chuckle. He picks it up and looks forward just in time to see a coordinated attack from Scruffy and Max coming straight towards him.
“Not that face,” he whimpers before both balls hit him square between the eyes.
Caesar dodges a throw from Austin, catching another from Scruffy as he stands at the line between the two sides of the court. He tosses a ball, missing Kelly, before hearing a faint giggle and looking up towards the ceiling where Scary is hanging from on all fours with a ball in their teeth. They drop it- it hits Caesar, bouncing off his hair, and then ricochets on McLovin, leaving Peter alone on the court.
“Come on, Peter, you got this!” Ass shouts.
Peter swallows a nervous lump in his throat and looks back at the Anons.
“Do you really think he can make it?” McLovin asks, holding an ice pack to his jaw.
“No, but it’s a nice thought, isn’t it?”
Peter trembles, the ball in his hands shaking violently as he stares down the opposing team, who aren’t looking too concerned at all. Max gives a slight I told you so look to the rest of his team, then a smile Kelly and Austin, and then all three of them part, allowing Scary to walk through. Peter quivers and weakly throws the ball. It bounces a few paces forward and stops at Scary’s feet.
He picks it up, grins wickedly, and then tosses it directly upwards.
Max cups his face to shout. “Seriously?! He's right-”
As it falls, Scary does a tight, neatly performed spin-kick and launches the ball with her heel, sending it out with such a force that when it hits Peter, it sends him directly through the glass and onto the beach below.
Max's jaw drops. Everyone falls silent. Even Chris looks mildly concerned. The Flying Fujoshis stare in shock, all looking at each other as if to say, “So, who’s gonna get the body?”
Then, the silence lifts.
“And with a sweeping victory, the Inane Anons have won the game!” Chris shouts against the cheers of the winning team. “Chef, bring Peter to the medical tent and call in a chopper, he’s outta here! No elimination ceremony tonight!”
The Fujoshis stare in complete dead silence before a few interns force them out of their seats.
“That was rough,” Sha-Mod says, shaking his head as they walk back to the cabin. The picture of Lightning quivers in the wind, but stays put.
Patrick shrugs. “Eh, he had it coming. It’s the law of the wild on this island- natural selection. The weakest go first,”
Sha-Mod frowns, but doesn’t respond further.
The Anons, on the other hand, seem to be doing just fine as they gather for lunch in the mess hall. “How’s this, baby: you, me, the Christian square, and the history square?” Austin asks, walking alongside Kelly.
“Are you sure? I mean, Frollo is kind of…” they gesture to Frollo, who’s standing over Peter’s cast-covered body and sprinkling holy water on him while he tries to weakly protest.
“That’s why he can’t say no, baby!”
“Ok, I guess that makes sense. What about… Staci? Staci is nice,” Kelly smiles, gesturing to Staci as they growl at Michael for staring.
“Sure, baby, whatever you say. Yeah!”
Staci sits back down on the bench and huffs. Scary emerges from under the table as if she were rising from underwater and sits next to them. “I liked your technique today. Brutal!”
“Thank you,” Staci grins. “My great-great-great cousin twice-removed Bertram actually invented the earliest version of dodgeball, so I’m pretty good at it.”
Max rolls his eyes. “Oh, brother,”
“I heard that!” they snap, brandishing their grimy spoon like a weapon. Scary giggles with delight.
“Good job out there today, campers! And good work Scary- only three episodes in and we’ve already had to lift someone off the island in a full-body cast!” Chris chuckles, entering the mess hall. Scary smiles wickedly. “Really makes you wonder who’s gonna sustain a life-threatening injury next time- and there’s only one way to find out- here, on Total! Takes! Island!”

Harry Potter (slight AU. Harry doesn't know Voldemort's real name and never saw him as a young man)
Time Travel.
Grabbing the portkey in the graveyard, Harry has no idea that the power released from his wand and Voldemort's wand has affected the portkey. The journey is long and grueling, with Harry and Cedric's body split in places. They end up somewhere among the people, causing panic and the only thing Harry manages to say before losing consciousness is "The Dark Lord."
Upon regaining consciousness, Harry says his name, and is very confused when the healers say they will inform his relatives about him. Even more confused is the fact that everyone around him thinks he has run into Grindewald. It is only after meeting Flimont that Harry realizes that he has found himself in the past.
He doesn't quite know what to do about it. Should he tell Flimonte? But he's only just met him and doesn't know him at all. Who knows how he'll react to "Flimont, I'm your grandson." Contact Dumbledore? But Harry is no longer sure he can trust him completely. Dumbledore insisted on his participation in the tournament. He didn't help Sirius, even though he could have used the time flywheel himself. He hadn't been near Rattlesnake Willow when Pettigrew escaped. No one would have been surprised if he was suddenly there. On the contrary, people would have thought of him even more as a hero. He sent Harry a phoenix and a hat to help him, though he could just as easily have told McGonagall what was going on. And he sends Harry to the Dursleys every year.
Anyway, Harry is full of doubts and doesn't know who to trust, and in the meantime, the Potters take him in. They surround him with kindness and care. And for the first time, Harry feels like he belongs.
He enters Hogwarts as a fifth-year student and is still tense at first, waiting for the second shoe to drop. But nothing happens. There are no conspiracies, no deadly situations, and no nemeses. Everything is so normal and peaceful and Harry realizes he wants it forever because he's so tired. He's a teenager, he's fifteen, he shouldn't have to put his life in danger every year, he shouldn't have to fight basilisks or dragons, he shouldn't have to engage in a deadly duel. He must not be the Boy Who Survived, the Chosen One, the Savior. He has to decide for himself what he wants to be, but for now he has to worry about lessons and dates like a normal teenager. That's what he wants.
So, Harry decides to stay in the past and not tell anyone that he is from the future. Making this decision makes him feel lighter, freer. He becomes more cheerful, starts actively communicating with everyone around him, makes friends with people from different faculties, and gets into his studies (the Potters and professors sigh with relief, thinking that Harry has finally recovered from his confrontation with Grindewald and the death of his friend).
Tom Riddle thinks about the new guy for only five seconds and then forgets about him for two whole months. Two months later, this newcomer - Potter - who hasn't been seen or heard from, suddenly, is everywhere. Everywhere Tom goes, there is Potter in the company of his buddies, talking loudly. He begins to catch up in his studies. He's becoming the best at DADA. He is so bright and friendly and everyone around him loves him. Tom hates him. He'll kill him as soon as he figures out the best way to pull it off. In the meantime, he has to figure out how to get away from Potter, who has decided that Tom should be his friend, too
(Harry: We have to fight the troll.
Tom: ...Your train of thought is very mysterious and not clear to me. What exactly is the reason we have to fight the troll?
Harry: Well... There was this girl. My friend and I didn't like her very much, and then the three of us fought the troll and became friends after that. Because you know... There are some things you can’t share without ending up liking each other, and knocking out a twelve-foot mountain troll is one of them.
Tom: I'm not going to fight a troll.
Harry: Okay... I'll think of something else.
Tom: Please don't.)

Twenty-six hours of labor.
Without intermission, without Suzume being able to rest, without anyone being able to quell the rage that had begun to emanate from her at the beginning of the twenty-sixth hour of labor, which had begun in the late evening of the day before.
October 24, 2031, at precisely midnight, Suzume Munakata had staggered to her husband and told him in a tone so soft it reminded him of a torrent, "I think my water broke."
Hell had risen to the ground in less than a second : in a very quick succession, Souta had grabbed the suitcases they had been keeping ready for days, loading them all on his shoulder without hesitation and darting from one side of the house to the other like a madman.
"The cell phone! Where's the cell phone?!" Souta hollered as he rampaged through the house, his hair - previously put up in a ponytail- was now wild and dishevelled.
"It's here, Souta."
"Wha-?!"
"Here! You left it in charge!"
Souta had barreled into the room again. "What are you doing on the bed?! We need to get going!!"
"But I'm fine-!"
"Your water broke!!" Souta screeched, fumbling in the fridge to get water bottles…way too many water bottles. "How is that fine?! We gotta go to the hospital, now!"
Seriously, how many bottles did a pregnant woman need?
Souta had been serially accumulating everything since the beginning of her pregnancy, but Suzume had been pretty sure he had no idea what to do with half of it.
She had raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you're not the one who's giving birth?"
Through it all, Suzume could only sit on the bed and watch her husband's level of insanity rise minute by minute, second by second.
It had been five minutes after the Munakatas had finally managed to get into the car to drive to the hospital-despite the fact that she had been nowhere near active labor, Souta was acting as if the baby was about to come out at that very moment.
She had made him stop the car on the side of the road to explain that she was not yet feeling contractions, and more importantly to tell him that he needed to calm down if he did not want to risk passing out in the delivery room.
It had been the most exhausting twenty-six hours of their lives. More grueling than the adventure that had introduced them to each other all those years before, more grueling than being turned into a chair...oh, thank goodness he was human again!
There would have been no way for Suzume to go through labor without being able to break his hand....
As she had been doing all along, after all. But Souta, kneeling beside her on the hospital bed, had not complained either over losing feeling in his knees or that after the baby was born there would be a need to call a radiologist to see that indeed his hand was broken in two.
And at five o'clock in the morning, the cry of a new life had filled the small hospital room, and Suzume, his beautiful but exhausted Suzume, had fallen backwards on the mountain of pillows behind her, panting and crying together. And the doctor had placed on her chest a tiny being covered in blood, red and still attached to its mother by the umbilical cord.
A stirring of emotions of extraordinary power had awakened in Souta, who only then had found the strength to hoist himself up from the bent position he had assumed to hold a leg for Suzume-any kind of comfort during childbirth is essential. Holding her hands, her legs, and being there present one and all...although -Souta would never admit it- but he had felt faint several times during the hours Suzume had spent pushing. The sight of all that blood, not having eaten anything, and the tension of the moment had played tricks on him….
But he had relieved himself and slid a hand to the back of Suzume's head, which tilted in his touch, nose to nose.
"It's a boy." The doctor had said, as he stimulated the infant with a clean blanket. Before long, disgruntled screams filled the room, and Suzume took to crying even louder, holding the infant firmly against her chest.
"Souta..." She murmured. "Our baby…it's our baby…"
Souta wiped away her tears with his thumbs, resting his forehead against hers. "Hey, Mama."
Suzume made a sound somewhere between sobbing and laughing. "Hey, Papa…"
He took her face in his hands and kissed her with all his might, with all the love floating in his body…His joy was so powerful, so unbridled.
He had never felt anything quite like it.
While the doctors were busy cutting the umbilical cord and cleaning the baby, Souta watched carefully : was his paternal instinct already kicking in?
The baby was not even three minutes old, and Souta could already feel his own muscles jarring to have him in his arms.
"Okay Dad, now it's your turn." It was the nurse's voice that had brought him out of the state he was in : Shinobu had been properly cleaned, a tiny woolen cap had been placed on his little head - was the soft spot still open? The infant was wrapped in a pretty blue blanket, and the way she held him made it look so...natural.
But the young father quivered at the idea of holding him.
Oh. He was so small. So fragile, and he was so big.
It could have broken some of his little bones for sure-oh no, what if he slipped?
His arms were made for pushing doors shut, they were made for carrying insurmountable weights, they were made for hugging, his hands only knew how to handle keys...and if up to that point he had thought a wooden contraption was the most delicate thing he had ever handled, when the nurse put his son in his arms he realized it was a whole different kettle of fish.
Shinobu was no bigger than his forearm, a tiny, full head of dark hair hidden under a blue cap rested in the crook of Souta's arm, the rest of that tiny body greeted by soft swaddling was gathered and resting on his father's hand
And it alone was huge in comparison to the infant.
Suzume had collapsed into a deep slumber as soon as the stitches had been placed. His wife had resisted sleeping at first, afraid that Shin might need something and she would not be able to hear him cry.
But Souta had reassured her that he would wake up in case the baby needed anything.
He had spent time observing his son's facial features...and could confirm after almost an hour without taking his eyes off him that Shinobu Munakata was the most beautiful, precious, and special thing he had ever held. More precious than any key, more powerful than any shockwave he had ever felt, and more devastating than being turned into a chair. More terrifying than having been on the verge of ceasing to exist, on the brink of an irretrievable abyss...at the bottom of a barrel from which he had held never to rise again.
Of never again feeling the warmth of the summer sun on his skin, of never again seeing a sunrise, of never again being moved by a sunset.... To never again hear Suzume's voice.
Instead, like sunlight breaking through snow, Suzume had given him her hands. She had melted the ice in his heart, pieces of crystal the size of tears that had clung to his skin. The warmth he had felt on his skin when she had opened that door....
I want to live.
I want to live.
I want to live!!!
And Suzume wanted to live together with him.
She had given him her hand, and firmly pulled him to her.
He had returned to feeling the warmth of life in the blink of an eye.
And his hand had never left hers. And now, the same hands that had saved each other from a taken-for-granted end held tightly to something more precious than he could ever have thought.
Shinobu was quiet, a silent and peaceful child.... As if he had cried only to reassure his parents that he was alive and healthy, and then he must have fallen asleep on contact with the warm water of the bath that had been prepared for him to cleanse him of blood. He had spent those nine months informing himself and reading, and had read that newborns could be comforted by a few little pats on the bottom intent on reminding the little one of the mother's heartbeat and soothing them. Another way was to wrap them tightly in swaddling clothes. So it was likely that their son had fallen asleep in a daze...after all, labor is difficult for both mother and baby...and it had not been an easy labor, despite everything Souta had read in those months to try and make the delivery easy.
Exercise ball, foods that contained iron and fiber, taking walks...it had even crossed Souta's mind to engage in acupuncture....
It had taken the last ultrasound before delivery to reassure him that the baby was healthy.
And labor had been a tremendous experience anyway. Suzume had started the contractions calmly, reassuring her husband that she was fine and wanted to keep moving...and then gradually the situation had worsened.
Soon they had reached such an intense peak that she could not even speak, only squeeze with demolishing force her husband's poor hand, which she could only massage where it hurt, hold her hand and feed her ice chips.
All that had come back to him were the months before– He had been sitting grading his pupils' class assignments when she had hugged him from behind and turned him toward her, then taken his face in her hands. "I have something for you."
"Oh?" He had raised an eyebrow, watching her slip out of his arms to fetch something from the bathroom. "Close your eyes!" She chirped. "It's a surprise!"
Chuckling softly, he had reclined in his chair and waited until Suzume's footsteps suggested that she had returned. "Okay...open your hands."
He obeyed, and his wife had placed something like a thermometer in his hand.
Souta had frowned. "...Did you get sick?"
"For another reason. Okay! Can you guess what it is?"
Souta had chewed his lower lip thoughtfully. "...I give up, what is it?"
"Then go ahead and open your eyes~"
In Souta's hands, a rose-colored stick sat impassively.
How had he mistaken it for a thermometer? The shape was crystal clear--outlined by a straight, curvy shape.
It was a pregnancy test.
And it was positive.
Souta's eyes widened, staring at the small object with.... surprise? He did not know how, but what was stirring in his chest was something deeper than mere surprise.
"Suzume..." He had said, looking at the two lines as if they were two paintings. Her smaller hands cupped his.
"Are you...?"
She had nodded, that black hair she loved more than anything else in the world bounced loose on her shoulders. "Look." She said, tapping a fingernail on the small screen of the pregnancy test :
Pregnant. Three weeks. The writing was crystal clear.
Souta felt a thousand emotions at the same moment : joy, confusion, fear, emotion.
He lifted his eyes with exasperating slowness toward her. "we're having a baby…?"
Suzume had nodded, and tears had formed at the sides of her eyes. "Yes, Souta."
He had fallen from his chair, kneeling before her. He had embraced her from the waist, pulling her to him with a series of kisses overflowing with tears of joy. I love you murmured through his lips....
His students did not have their classwork back for two weeks..
Suzume had been asleep all morning long, and Souta had made it his mission to keep an eye on his wife and son.
At one point in the morning he too had had to put Shin down in the crib next to Suzume's bed, but keeping a finger in so that his son could pick him up in case of a nightmare.
The baby had wiggled a few times, but nothing too constant and repeated. A few sounds to let his father know he was okay, occasionally he felt a little finger catch his index finger...but nothing as disastrous as the experienced parents they had met on the street had told him it would be.
In nurse entered at about eight o'clock. "Sir, visiting hours are about to open." He said with a respectful bow. "A checkup will be done on your wife in a little while, would you like to give baby Munakata to me?"
Instinctively, Souta clasped his hands around the crib. "No, I thank you. I prefer him to stay here."
His skin tingled at even the thought of having Shin away from him for more than five minutes, and he was not the one who had carried him inside him for nine months as Suzume had.
"So… it's time to feed him, this little guy will be hungry." Said the woman. "I can show you how to do it, if you want."
Apparently, Souta noted, there were several ways of holding a child while feeding them of which he was unaware...and after the nurse listed them all for him, he decided to go on the one he knew best.
He placed his son on his forearm in a semi-vertical position and then gently brought the bottle with milk close to Shin's lips.
"Why isn't he latching?"
The nurse, with a gentle smile, explained. "It's normal, he must first understand that there is milk coming out of there."
It took a couple of tries and soft encouragement from the new father for Shinobu to open his lips and begin sucking from the spout of the bottle fiercely, Souta laughed instinctively. "So hungry..." He said.
As if his mother had not fed him the strangest cravings during those nine months...anything and everything.
Starting from noodles topped with mayonnaise and salmon ending with beet onigiri and ketchup, Souta could say he had seen it all in terms of food.
Shin drank like a drunkman, and then went into what he described himself as...milk coma.
It had caused a not inconsiderable dose of panic in Souta, dampened only when the nurse had burst out laughing and told him it was normal. It was almost on a par with a hangover, it seemed.
Souta had cast a glance at his son. You better not become a drunkard, young man.
Suzume had awakened only at lunchtime, turning onto her side and straining Souta's hand. "Hey..."
Her husband had immediately kissed her forehead, taking her hand in his. "Good morning, sleeping beauty...how are you feeling?"
"A little groggy and sore...but otherwise fine." She said, pulling herself to sit up. She still looked tired, but It was muffled slightly by the hours of sleep. "How about you? Did you get any sleep?"
"A little. Don't worry." He said, shifting to allow her to rest her head on his shoulder. "Shin is sleeping."
"Has he been good?"
"An exemplary baby, he hasn't cried once."
Suzume chuckled against his shoulder softly. "Like father, like son."
Souta stroked her head. "Thank you, Suzume."
She blinked. "For what, silly?"
Tears burned in his eyes, so he instinctively hid his face in her hair. "For giving me the greatest gift in the world. Thank you for this life, thank you for loving me, thank you for our son. Thank you for existing."
And Suzume -- his beautiful, tired, brave Suzume -- gently squeezed his hand. "Hey, you're the one who entered my life first."
Souta kissed the top of her head. "But you're the one who improved my life." He said softly, taking her hand and caressing her mouth with his thumb. "You are my life, both of you."
"Stop it, come on...you know my hormones are raging!" Chuckled Suzume amid tears that threatened to fall.
And with them, Souta's heart was ten times bigger.
Ten times fuller.
Shinobu was brought to his mother after a few minutes, and as soon as he was in Suzume's arms she began to coo sweet words of greeting to him, cradling him perfectly in her own arms. Those arms that had saved Souta, those arms that had held him when he was a chair, and those same arms were now holding the fruit of their love.
Their firstborn son.
Shinobu Munakata would become an extraordinary man.
With two parents like Munakata Souta and Munakata Suzume, how could he not be?

The Rowntrees Ultimate Decades Challenge - 1369 Winter & Spring
Content warning for death yet again, also famine and war, I love this challenge
Tumblr media
The rumored famine came quickly, and the fields were bare soon after the beginning of 1359. The chickens had to go and the Rowntrees started fretting for their financial situation. With the entire village penniless, spending all their money on food on the rare occasion it was available, their shop was losing traffic. The second floor of the house still needed to be rebuilt after the fire, and that seemed unlikely.
Tumblr media
During the famine food was scarce, and the family resorted to eating gruel for almost every meal. The Hedgecocks were especially struggling, and Kymmie was grateful she didn't have any young children to care for. Everyone was always hungry and exhausted.
Tumblr media
Soon, Gilbert's sister Clarice passed away. Although she was often rude, her passing greatly affected Gilbert, who was now left to take care of a toddler and an entire house by himself.
Tumblr media
This event completely destroyed Gilbert, and Kymmie did her best to help him. In the past two years, Gilbert lost his wife, sister, and two children. Gilbert couldn't imagine living on as a serf, with no crops to farm and no food to feed to his daughter.
Tumblr media
In May, news arrived at the village: war was coming. The war from their parents' childhoods against France had returned again, and English peasants were wanted to go fight for the king. Gilbert came knocking at Kymmie's door that night with big news: he wanted to go fight. There seemed to be no point in staying at the village anymore. But he needed to make sure Sabina was taken care of. Would Kymmie take her in?
Tumblr media
Kymmie had gotten close to Gilbert since they were the only two alive adults in their families, and despite the dangers of war, she knew this was the best thing for him. Kymmie was scared to take care of a toddler during a famine, but knew that with the store still somewhat functioning, she was the best parent Sabina could have.
Tumblr media
Sabina moved into the household that night, and Kymmie was excited to have a kid to take care of in the house again. Now that Finnian was a teen, the two of them were growing apart.
Tumblr media
Finnian was busy helping out in the house since the fire, so when Regina sneaked him into her bedroom, they hadn't seen each other in a couple of months. Finnian had been feeling complicated about his relationship with Regina, and they only amplified when he went into her house for the first time. Regina lived in a castle, and people cooked and dressed her and made her bed. Her bedspread probably cost more than Finnian's house. But he tried to be polite.
"I'm sad you haven't been around," Regina told him. "Especially with the war going on, I really need this relationship as an escape right now."
Tumblr media
This annoyed Finnian. He tried to be polite but sitting in this bedroom, hearing Regina complain, reminded him of how much easier her life was.
"My sister died and my house got burned, and I had to spend all my time working so we can fix it. Sorry I couldn't be your escape, but unlike you, my family can't afford to have someone else fix our problems," Finnian spat. "And the war? My brother-in-law is going there, and unlike your wealthy relatives he's probably going to die."
Tumblr media
Regina rolled her eyes. "You take everything so seriously! My dad is at war too, and I'm not complaining about it all the time because I try to find happiness in things and have belief in God. If you weren't always focused on the things going wrong around you, you'd be happy too."
Tumblr media
"You only care about your own happiness, and you've just been using me this whole time for yourself!" yelled Finnian. "You always put me in dangerous situations that you know you'd be able to wiggle out of! You don't care about me or anybody else! And you made me waste my youth on somebody I could never have a future with!"
Tumblr media
"If you hate me that much, you don't have to see me," said Regina in disgust.
"Fine. I won't."
Finnian sneaked out the same way he came in.

A Champion Time For The Heart Ch16 Battle Gym Leader Opal
You did NOT want to get into the flying taxi! Even when the kind middle aged man in the flight suit and goggles let you pet the pretty friendly corviknight and assured you it was perfectly safe you did NOT want to get into the flying taxi!! Of course your Drizzilie didn't seem to care about anything and had jumped into the awaiting metal carriage and seated itself into one of the seats available and curled up to lay down on it as Gloria climbed in as well and had a firm grip on you as she tried to pull you into the cab with her.
"Y/n! C'mon! Don't be a wee lil baby!," she grunted as she tried to pull your struggling form into the cab with her. But you effectively blocked yourself from coming in with one heel dug into one of the steps and a hand firmly placed on the outside. After you had gotten yourself to eat and then downstairs to the outside of the inn, the cab was already ready and waiting for you two. The corviknight and it's owner even perched on top of it watching awkwardly waiting. "I'm not walkin' days ta Glimwood Tangle in this bloody heat!"
"I think I'd rather take my chances with the sun- ACK!?" That was it. Your hand finally slipped and you faceplanted half your body onto the floor between the two seats. And you immediately scrambled when you felt something grab at your legs. "GLORIA NO!!"
You two fought against each other as you were losing and yelled at Gloria who was quicker than you thought she could be as she wrestled the rest of your fleeing body inside the cab as you continued to physically and verbally protest and within the scuffle somehow managed to slam the door shut behind the two of you, yelling the word 'GO!!' and not too long after you felt a lurch as the cab took off. You let out a bloody curdling scream and clutched onto the seat your drizzilie sat upon smashing your face into the seat from the force of the take off and cutting off your scream only after a second of it leaving your mouth, half your body still on your knees on the floor as Gloria sighed and plopped herself into the seat across from you as the wind whipped through the windows. Acting like vents and while the wind was warm it most certainly wasn't the grueling heat you two had been traveling in. You remained face in the seat for a little while longer clutching onto it, your stomach felt like butterflies were in it, your feet felt awfully light, and you were kinda starting to regret eating that waffle before the two of you left. .......After a few more moments of just staying in that death grip position your Drizzilie gave a questioning noise and tapped the top of your head.
"Y/n you're perfectly alright. Just sit in the seat there instead of lookin' like you're prayin' to Arceus himself," Gloria encouraged.....You didn't respond for a hot second before she watched as your body shook as you weakly pulled yourself from the floor, trying not to get sick and pulled yourself onto the seat to face her. Pausing for a moment before with a click you scrambled for the seat belt and hastily threw it around yourself before gripping the sides of your seat next to your pokemon. Pale as a ghost. "See? It's not so bad!" She turned and stuck her arm out near the nearest window as her hair blew around her face as did yours. "And feel that air! It's great! Look at the view-"
"HEY!" You managed to pull yourself together enough to shout at her and shakily point a hand to her. "A-Arms, legs, and head INSIDE the taxi cab at all times!! And p-put on your seatbelt right now! W-We might hit some wind turbulence or something!"
"What? But I've done this before. It's perfectly safe."
"HEY! I-If I'm going to agree t-to ride this thing all the way to Glimwood Tangle then you're going to wear a seat belt all the way there too! There's no getting around that!....Speaking of which." Your Drizzilie made a sound of protest but didn't fight back when you pushed it back against the seat next to you and buckled it in as well. "Much better. Now you."
She rolled her eyes but complied. "Fine fine. I'll put the bloody thing on." And she began to do so.
"Thank you. So how long until we reach Bellonlea?"
"A whole two days and a night. It would've taken much longer ta get there by foot and there ain't no train running to or from Glimwood Tangle since the entire place is a national wildlife preserve as well as there ain't too many places like it in the world."
"...What do you mean?"
"It's a fifty square mile forest of giant trees so big and growin' so closely together that it blocks out the sun. It's full of these glowing giant mushrooms that light up everythin' in there 'n there's a whole slew of pokemon from dark to physcic to ghost....But mostly a bunch o' fairy type pokemon. It's why the fairy type stadium is located there."
You nearly felt sick to your stomach again. You had to sit and ride on this thing who knows how high off the ground for a two whole days and night?! ".....Well great."
"Oh relax, Y/n. Once we get in ta that big shady place from the sun it'll be worth it I promise."
"Where did you even get the money to pay for this trip? We used the last of it at the inn."
"Remember how Gym Challengers are paid a bit once they win a gym battle? I had enough ta pay for two people to be flown there don't worry." She looked back out the window. "Let's just relax n' enjoy the trip."
"Body stays inside the cab!"
Relax? It was easy for her to say! She was used to this!! Thus began your nerve wracking over the next two days. Gloria attempted to distract you and calm your nerves by having her rotom fly between the two of you and showed her uploaded battle against Allister from the Gym League's official sight. That helped a little bit as you two talked about Allister and the Gym battles that Gloria had had thus far, and you ended up rewatching them all including the ones you missed. Milo, Nessa, Kabu( Your Drizzilie looking the slightest bit proud of himself as you watched again this time without the panic or worry), Bea (you were surprised Gloria won against her actually. And you had a sneaking suspicion still that she might've won easily against her and Milo due to being worn out by the incoming of multiple trainers), and Allister again. Recounting that she had five gym badges thus fair, four needed to compete in the finals at the end of December, and was half way there already. This stop would hopefully make it five badges by the time of your departure. By the time it was night you all had the driver stop and take a rest for the night, you SO GLAD to be back on none moving land again with jello legs and shooting a glare to Gloria when she giggled at your predicament. Rinse and repeat. Pitching a tent, as the driver slept in the cab, and then the next morning you all packed and were off a second time. This time you didn't HAVE to be pulled in by Gloria but it still took a lot of coaxing and Gloria mentioning how much money she already paid for this trip to get you back on. But Gloria found out that meant you wouldn't budge unless she buckled up as well. Safety first after all. The second day went pretty much the same as yesterday lovingly distracting yourselves by talking a lot and looking anywhere but outside and down to keep your nerves down as well. During this time Gloria decided it'd be a great time to glue whatever pictures she had left over into her dex book as you two talked, apparently she planned on using the same lense on her camera to take pictures of the pokemon you both came across while in the Glimwood Tangle, and then showed you her small collection of League Cards so far. You weren't sure how she managed to balance a hobby of collecting multiple things on this trip but glad she was having fun and enjoying herself so far. Ultimately it reached the second night and you two (with her having to convince you) agreeing to flying through the night in order to reach Bellonlea by morning. It's safe to say sleep did NOT come easily to you that night when it eventually did come. The Moon replacing the sun and stars replacing the clouds. You weren't sure when or how you were able to fall asleep still buckled into the seats, but you must've been too tired to stay awake. The next thing you knew was that you were jarred awake in a panic when the entire cab was shaken like some roller coaster upon landing on some path! Your Drizzilie chirping out in panic as it bumped in shook and even Gloria had clutched her seat for stability on your decent. Thankfully SOMEHOW NOT crashing but you two did end up a bit shaken from the experience.
"I'm so sorry!," a man's voice called out and you guessed the driver must've hopped off the bird pokemon because not a second later you saw his concerned self in the window looking at the three of you. "Is everyone alright? We were cut off by a flock of wild spearow outta no where!"
".....I'll let you know when I find out where my stomach flew off too," you mumbled back clutching your seat and still half asleep brain processing what had just happened.
"She's fine," Gloria assured rubbing her head, "Are we there?"
The man nodded and it was only when you finally dared to look out the window yourself you noticed that the cab was set down in the BIGGEST shadows from trees you had ever seen. Gloria was quick to unbuckle herself(thank gosh. You were glad she was buckled in for that fun fair ride-) and run herself out of the cab and after a moment you slowly followed. Legs feeling like Jello and SO GLAD to be on ground that you almost collapsed to the grassy fields below you. When you looked up however is when you realized how small you actually felt. Before you was the BIGGEST DENSES TREES YOU HAD EVER SEEN!! THEY WERE LIKE SKYSCRAPERS WITH HOW BIG THEY WERE!! Their branches and leaves entertwined so much that the inside completely blocked out the light right inside the inner workings of the forest inside, and on the inside of the darkness you could make out lots and LOTS of different glowing lights in the shapes of mushrooms within there as the path you all landed on continued off into the darkness. And in front of the entrance to this forest was two large lamp posts that at the moment remained unlit. This was it. The Glimwood Tangle.
"I'm afraid this is as fair as I can take you ladies to Bellonlea." You blinked to the Driver as your Drizzlie stumbled out to walk over to you. "The trees are too tight nit to fly through and it'd be too dangerous to risk that."
"That's ok," Gloria assured him. "Would you mind waiting for us here? This shouldn't be take more than a couple hours if we're lucky."
He nodded. "Sure. Corviknight could use the break anyways after the long night we had."
She smiled before turning away and waving. "Thanks! We'll be back soon!" She walked past you towards the entrance to the forest and after blinking you followed. "OH! This is gonna be great!"
"Uh huh. And how are we not supposed to get lost in there?," you asked walking away the feeling of you as a violently shaking jello someone tossed to the floor with your pokemon at your side. "It's pitch black in there besides all those mushrooms but I dunno if that's gonna be enough to keep us from getting lost."
"Don't worry. I checked my regional maps before we got here. As long as we stay on the main dirt road and not go off onto any of the hiking trails or other paths leading to someone's house, we should be totally fine. And the main road is always the biggest one, so all we gotta do is stay on the biggest road and we're there...buuut it'll take us a bit to get to Bellonlea. It's dead smack in the middle of the forest and this place is pretty big."
"Y'know I think as long as we stay out of the hot sun I'll be perfectly fine. Just make sure the both of you stay close and no wondering off. The last thing I need after a ride like that is a sour stomach from worrying over you."
As you two entered leaving the taxi behind, it didn't take too long for it to get dark really fast. And it was like you two were traveling at night even tho you were absolutely sure it was daytime. You all marveled at the colorful glowing mushrooms along the path being your only source of light as you all traveled and casting dancing shadows within the dark as well across the trees. It was really beautiful but also in a way scary like when you all saw those ghost pokemon in the middle of the night. More than ONCE you had to smack one of the smaller glowing shrooms out of your drizzilie's hands before he could eat it. Maybe pokemon could eat these things, but you weren't about to risk finding out and unintentially making himself sick or worse. At the five minute mark the entrance you came through had completely disappeared from view, and at the ten minute mark the larger path shrank before splitting off into two different directions and you two had stopped...And you turned to Gloria who didn't look too sure where to go before pulling out her phone again as you stood there.
"Well so much for following the bigger path. Which way do we go?," you asked.
"Accordin' to the map we goooooo..." Gloria paused for a moment lifting a hand before pointing to the left, "That way! And then we go straight when we hit the second set of paths."
You two had continued down the path she pointed out with her phone out and she continued taking pictures now that you two began seeing a few pokemon. Usually some small imp looking pokemon she mentioned were called impadimps, a couple hatenna, some tea cup looking thing called a sinistea, some mushroom looking pokemon, and quite a few others as you two walked. Eventually coming across to the second set of pathways and continued to walk down the middle pathway as the map said to go....Although you began to have an off feeling as you walked. Almost as if you were being watched but that was ridiculous! There was pokemon all around you probably watching as the three of you walked on the pathway so of course you'd feel like you were being watched. But neither of you were aware of the larger figure moving from the brush over towards the both of you as you walked.
"So where do we go from here?," you asked watching a couple impadimps as they laughed and bounced on a mushroom as you walked, "And how long have we been walking anyways?"
"Lost count after forty five minutes. But accordin' ta this thing we take another left up ahead and that should lead us straight to Bellonlea!" The bushes up ahead of her rustled out as someone peeked out.
"Oh good. I'm kinda getting tired of walk-"
"FUGAAAA!" Before you had even finished talking the person in the bushes jumped out at you from the middle of the path spraying you two with a shower of leaves from the poor plants. Pokemon scattered as Gloria let out a scream and your Drizzilie let out a panicked chirp diving behind your legs. In an instant, Gloria was yanked from in front of you as you shoved her behind you from the crouched form, arms raised in a 'I'm going to get you' like way with a wild look in his eyes. "FUGAGAGA!! I'm a pokemon! Have a battle with me!"
Startled the two of you wide eyed stared at this messy looking man who had literally appeared out of NO WHERE....before you looking to the petrified looking teen peeking out from around your back. "Hey. Are you ok?"
"......Define 'ok'."
The man held up a hand with a crazed smile and spoke before you could speak again. "Listen for a second. Scorbunny and sizzlipede are different species, but they're still both pokemon! Scorbunny and I are different species just like sizzlipede and I are different too! If you think about it that way there's no problem with calling me a pokemon. I don't mind!," he explained/rambled on much to the terrified people in front of him.
"What?," Gloria eventually spoke after a silence, "Did you hit your head there, Lad?" She asked before ducking behind you again as he snapped to her. You were starting to feel very uncomfortable now and cringed with every word the man spewed from his mouth.
"What? You don't have to worry about me! Even I know it's pretty lofty logic. I...I wanted to become a pokemon once," he rambled on staring off into space at nothing..and you two exchanged an uncomfortable look.
"Uh..W-Well good luck with that-," you tried to defuse inching with the two behind you over towards the right around this crazy man.
"Hey! I've got it!," he giggled happily to himself, "A change of fashion style could change the way I feel too! Basically if I can make myself feel the same way a pokemon does, it'd be like I became a pokemom. Don't you think?!" The three of you froze as he snapped to you again. By now you were ready to just push this guy over and making a run for it if it'll mean to get away to safety. He suddenly pointed at you. "YOU! Would you please put on some clothes with a fiery spirit that embodies my burning feelings?"
....And you stared.....Was this middle aged crazy man asking you to change right here and now!? The man at your silence hummed and glossy eyes looked up towards the darkened tree canopy mumblng something about fire types..when your brows rose as an idea hit you. "....Gloria." Said freaked out brunette blinked up to you as you slowly leaned your head towards her but kept staring at the man who mumbled off to himself. You weren't risking taking your eyes off this creep for a second. "Listen to me very carefully. Reach into my bag and hand me the blue shirt with the arcanine printed on the front. Once he's distracted we'll make a run for it." She didn't answer you but by the way you were lightly forced to lean back and someone quickly opening your bag she didn't have too. After a moment longer a blue shirt was thrown over your shoulder as you grabbed it. OH! You hoped this would work. "Oh wow!" In an instant he snapped to you and your flinched...before slowly holding the shirt out. "What's this I found?"
"What's this? Is that-?" He snatched it from you and you quickly whipped your hand back as a result from his face actions. Curiously he opened the shirt and his crazy eyes widened more as he saw the arcanine printed on it. And he chuckled. "I feel like I've completely become a pokemon! Wearing a hot fire styled outfit can make you feel different! I feel like I've become a Fire Type pokemon!"
"RUN!!"
The man blinked as you both bolted. You gripping Gloria's hand for dear life as you both scrambled in fear to get the heck out of there. Your poor Drizzilie fearfully scrambling at your feet as the three of you ran as fast as you could down the pathway towards the next crossroads.
"W-WAIT! DONT YOU WANT TO BATTLE ME!?," the man called out after you.
You didn't answer and you didn't stop. Pumped full of panic and adrenaline telling you to get AWAY from that crazy guy. You both ran and RAN until you came to the third way the path split and stopped to catch your breath. Eventually you also released Gloria's hand when she gently tugged at you to let go and you did. Silence filled the air as you two just breathed for a moment, often glancing back to make sure the crazy guy didn't follow you. At one point you looked to Gloria who pointed in question towards the left path you needed to take to Bellonlea before you nodded your head and the two of you two slowly went on your way again still looking behind you in case the guy showed up. It was better to keep moving and get out of that area as soon as possible before that guy found you again. With a new tired feeling in your guts, you two made to continue on down the pathway deeper and deeper into this strange forest right out of a fairytale. You might as well have been walking for a good hour or more at this point when you all finally turned and there it was. Among a whole bunch of mushrooms, some of which being the BIGGEST you had seen thus far, was the unmistakable shine of the metal stadium through the trees, along with a lot of houses scattered around and that same pink pokemon center. The town of Bellonlea. And already there were a few people walking about as you could barely make out thanks to the lights in their houses and the glow from the mushrooms. Hopefully none of them were the weird man you had encountered back on the trail.
You pointed. "There it is! Guess your map was right after-" You had paused and blinked upon looking back to Gloria who was again digging through her bag. "What are you doing?"
She smiled holding up the old looking letter from her bag although it was slightly wrinkled from being in the bag for so long. "Don't ya remember? Allister said I needed ta return this letter ta whoever Frank is as soon as possible."
"Well...yeah. But I thought you were going to challenge Opal." You started walking as she did into the town.
"I am, but this seems really important for me ta do if even Allister thinks I should." She gestured around to the town of small fairytale houses you all couldn't stop admiring. "Plus there's not too many cabins 'ere. We should be able to find this Frank really quick."
"Well, let's ask someone. It'll be faster than knocking on doors at least." She agreed and you both walked up to the nearest person. A small little boy with brown hair and jeans playing with what you were assuming was his impadimp, but both looked up as you walked up to him and stopped. "Hi there" You greeted with a smile and wave. "Sorry to bug you but do you know if there's anyone named Frank who lives here?"
The boy blinked at you both. "Frank?" You both nodded at him. "Only one person in Bellonlea has that name. That's my granddad's name."
"Oh really?" His grandfather?? Why would a little girl write a love letter to someone's grandfather? But the boy nodded yes. "Could you tell us where he is right now?"
He turned and pointed to one of the cabins closest to the stadium. "In there with my sisters."
You smiled and waved at him again as Gloria immediately began walking in that direction. "Ok thanks!" Increasing your pace to catch up with her, the both of you walked up to the door and before you could say anything Gloria had already knocked loudly on the door.
There was a pause for a moment as you both looked at one another, then not a moment later footsteps approached the door as you two looked back at it, and a man who looked to be in his early sixties and cap opened the doors to the two of you. And Gloria smiled. "Hi! Is there a Frank here?"
The man hummed looking the two of you girls over for a moment. "You're looking for Frank?" You both nodded. "That'd be me yes. Can I help you ladies?"
Gloria held up the letter to him. "A girl in Hammerlocke asked us ta give this to ya."
He blinked in surprise at the letter. "What's this? You've got a letter addressed to me?" He reached out and grabbed the letter from Gloria, and the two of you watched as the elderly man opened it. "Now who could be sending me letters." He went silent for a moment as he opened the letter, held it up to his face, and scanned the words on it..before he smiled. "Oh! Why this says it's from Paula! That does take me back ages."
"Oh. So you two do know each other!"
He chuckled. "Paula was the name of a girl I spent all my time playing with when I was a young lad. She fell ill. Didn't tell me though. She kept it a secret just how sick she was. We ended up having a great row of it...then I moved away not long after that fight. I never met her again after the day I left."...Illness? The flashes of how sick the little girl looked flashed through your mind and when you looked at Gloria, who could see that the connections must've hit her too cuz she looked a bit pale. The man looked up at you two semi sadly. "How was she? Did she look well? Dear old Paula."
"I uh-....Well she looked...well I guess," you managed to force out awkwardly.
The man nodded. "That's a comfort to hear. I thank you both very kindly for delivering me this." He smiled again looking down at the letter. "For you've brought me back a piece of my youth. ...Do you have a dear friend in your life? Make sure you treasure those dear to you while you have them close."
You nodded before signaling to a lightly spooked Gloria that you all should go. "Y-Your welcome. Have a nice day, Sir." He smiled and nodded to the two of you before going to close the door as the two of you turned around. You felt a little spooked yourself. Both of you had just managed to step onto the path leading to the stadium too when-
"...Thank you..." You both froze at the young girl's voice. "..for delivering my letter...."
.........Both of you slowly looked to one another......before you pointed to the gym. "To the stadium?"
"TO THE STADIUM!," Gloria agreed grabbing your arm and already making you two speed walk towards the building. As you both quickly approached, neither wanting to acknowledge what had just happened, you were more surprised by how they managed to find a big enough space between the tight knit trees to build it. Gloria letting go of your hand the closer you both got to the stadium and it's entrance. "Why don't you go on ahead and go around and to the seating area then?" She suggested as she stopped in the doorway. "I'll just go ahead and go do the gym challenge. Oh. After this I'll need ta stop by the center and move some of my new wee ones inta rotomi boxes."
You nodded. Sounded like a plan to you. After all you were wanting to get away and distract yourself from the goosebumps forming on your arms. "Alright. You be careful now." She nodded before turning and with a whoosh sound the door opened for her to enter, and you turned to your bored looking drizzilie. "C'mon. Let's head in through the side doors and get a good front row seat. Ok?"
He rolled his eyes and groaned but followed you anyways as you turned and began walking around the giant stadium. To make a long story you walked around the giant stadium and found the entrance leading into the stadium for people to access the bleachers, and went inside with your drizzilie right behind you looking bored as always. The regular flight of stairs you usually encountered with these stadiums lead up, and up until you both reached the enormous stadium insides that you were used too. With rows upon rows of seats but besides you and your pokemon there was at most maybe twenty other people besides you that you could tell. Must be due to Bellonlea being such a remote and small town. But hey! This gave you a great chance to get a front row seat to a battle for a change and experience it at least once. Still following you, your Drizzilie walked behind you all the way towards the very first row facing the giant grassy field and joined you as you sat down with it taking up a seat next to you. Perfect! Now all you had to do was wait!........And wait...........and wait........And wait some more. You hadn't realized how long it would take for you to wait for Gloria to finish the gym's challenge, but that's alright. You didn't mind waiting. It gave you a long chance to rest your feet and for your Drizzilie to fall asleep leaning it's head back on the seat. And you chuckled at it's snoring. .......And waited even longer with a sigh. Until FINALLY with what seemed like forever somone came onto the field. You didn't even notice it at first bored out of your mind, with your head leaning in your hand until you just happened to look up at the screen and perked right up seeing someone. HEY! It was the same elderly lady you and Gloria kept running into! It was Opal. And at this very moment she was slowly making her way across the field, until she got to the very center, and turned to face the middle and closing her eyes. As if waiting for someone. And it didn't take too long for you to find out too. Gloria came jogging onto the scene out from one of the openings onto the field and you perked right up as she walked right over across from Opal who finally opened her eyes to her. You watched as they exchanged a few words, before jumping at the announcer's voice.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! THE GYM BATTLE BETWEEN GYM CHALLENGER GLORIA AND GYM LEADER GLORIA SHALL BEGIN!! BATTLERS PLEASE TAKE YOUR PLACES!!" Both turned, Opal more slowly than Gloria obviously, before walking to their places on the field. Before turning to face one another. "POKEMON AT THE READY!! FIRST ROUND MATCH BEGIN!!"
In a flash of bright light both ladies sent out their pokemon. Gloria her raboot and Opal a weezing. And Opal was first to make a move when, fast for an old lady too, she slammed her umbrella to the ground and the wheezing puffed up it's cheeks like it was about to puke and suddenly it began spatting out purple glowing balls at the raboot. The move was sludge if you remember right. In an instant the rabbit pokemon looked panicked and began hoping about in weird poses and sometimes belly flopping to avoid the oncoming toxic attack thrown at it. Until Gloria pointed and gave it an attack. Then it was a whole new ball game as the raboot used that same technique you recognized she used back when battling Kabu. Using the quick attack of the raboot to boost it's speed as it turned it body and began charging at the weezing who amplified it's sludge attacks just as quick as the raboot was running with the flames at it's feet. Kicking something towards the weezing like a soccer ball player would before with a mighty bound it launched itself into the air, and kicked the flaming rock ember move at bullet speed towards the weezing. And no sooner than it did when a giant sludge ball hit it directly as well. With a cry of pain the small bunny pokemon FELL to the ground hard onto it's back. And didn't move. Meanwhile the rock launched at the weezing went straight into the larger mouth and the reaction was instant. It doubled over. In fact it went straight down to the ground almost at the same time as the raboot when the poison attack hit it head on. Your eyes widened as you leaned forward from where you were sitting. The weezing was unable to move besides shaking a bit and coughing from the flaming rock that went into it's mouth, and Raboot stayed there laying on the ground...until it got up. The poor thing looked like it was in pain forcing itself to sit up, and then eventually stand wobbling on it's two shaking feet. Shaking it's head and then facing the weezing with a look of determination in it's eyes. At least it did before the weezing was gone within a flash of light back into it's pokeball by Opal.
"FIRST ROUND MATCH OVER!! WEEZING WAS DETERMINED TO BE UNABLE TO BATTLE!!," Announcer stated as Gloria swiftly returned her own pokemon. "GYM CHALLENGER WINS FIRST ROUND!! SECOND ROUND MATCH IS ABOUT TO START! PLEASE READY YOUR POKEMON!!....POKEMON AT THE READY!! SECOND ROUND MATCH BEGIN!!"
And in more bright lights appeared two pokemon with the ability to fly. Opal sending out a togakiss and Gloria a corvi-......A CORVIKNIGHT!? SINCE WHEN DID SHE GET A CORVIKNIGHT!? The VERY large and black pokemon gave out a mighty roar at it's opponent. A shiver running down your spine. You still didn't forget how you arrived here after all. Opal was first to make a move again as she pointed and the togakiss sent out what looked like giant orbs of rocks. Ancient power?? Gloria did nothing at first and the corviknight screeched out an annoyed or perhaps painful reaction as the rocks shot out at bullet speed head on collided with it. But the BLOODY giant bird didn't even land from it's flying in place position, jut shake out it's feathered head and looked to the togakiss. Before bright light slash marks were made at it. Hone Claws! Was she planning on using the same technique she used against Hop? Well you found out when the corviknight let out a shrill cry that seemed to finally wake your sleeping drizzilie as it spread it's wings and with one beat of it wings launched itself into the air, before doing an entire circle upside down and with it's beak glowing launched itself right towards the togakiss who it turn made it's wing like appendages glow and with a shrill bolted right towards the corviknight. They were using steel wing to combat the drill peck!! But who'd win in this clash. Or at least that's what you thought would happen. To be honest what happened next was so fast you couldn't believe it unless you were sitting right there to watch as the corviknight out of no where extended it's GIANT sharp claws, and like an eagle completely SNATCHED the togakiss right out of mid air, encasing it comepletely in one of it's feet. Startled the togakiss could do only one thing at the moment. Shrill cry in panic as the corviknight parachuted using it's wings as it flew overhead. Opal must've been as surprised as you as you all watched the heavy duty bird pokemon, landed on the very edge of the feild with the yelling togakiss in its claws, stumbling a bit with landing on one leg, then simply while still holding the togakiss, placed it on the ground outside the boundary lines.
"SECOND ROUND MATCH OVER!! TOGAKISS IS OUT OF BOUNDS!! GYM CHALLENGER WINS SECOND ROUND!!" You watched as the corviknight ruffled its feathers before giving a few chirping noises, and walked it's way back over towards Gloria who waved at it. The togakiss looking rather spooked and shocked sat there for a moment....before flopping over onto it's side. And you frowned at it. Poor thing. You felt it's pain. "PLEASE READY YOUR POKEMON AS THE THIRD ROUND BATTLE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!!" In a flash of light both pokemon disappeared off the field and you hope the poor togakiss would be alright after that. "POKEMON AT THE READY!! THIRD ROUND MATCH BEGIN!!"
Although things were looking really well for Gloria so far. She won two rounds! Two more pokemon entered the field. Gloria's roselia and Opal's mawile. Oh boy. Gloria better watch out for those giant jars. In fact it didn't look too good at all when the thing use steel guard! That means it's defenses rose greatly. And Gloria pointed. The roselia used what you recognized as it's famous stun spore attack as it darted towards the mawile at lightning speeds, roses already tingling with electricity as the mawile turned to face it's upcoming attack as the grass pokemon threw it's roses out in a move to shoot at it- When the GIANT MAW engulfed it entirely. Stunned, you and your Drizzilie watched as the mawile gave a shrill as the stun spore kicked in and it's body was enveloped in electricity. Before with a grit, it raised the maw the roselia was still encased in, and SLAMMED IT down onto the ground multiple times. SLAM!! SLAM!! SLAM!! The sickening sounds echoed throughout the mostly empty stadium as you grimaced and could only watch as with a final slam the mawile stopped...it's body giving a spark every so often..before it's giant maw opened and the poor roselia fell out unconscious.
"THIRD ROUND MATCH IS OVER!! ROSELIA IS UNABLE TO BATTLE!! VICTORY OF THE MATCH GOES TO THE GYM LEADER!!" You sighed slumping back into your seat. Oh well. Couldn't win them all. Well she won two out of three rounds anyways so that was good enough to get a bad- "PLEASE PREPARE YOUR POKEMON FOR THE FINAL ROUND!!" Your eyes popped back open. Final round?! You mean there's more than three rounds!? "POKEMON AT THE READY TO DYNAMAX!! FINAL MATCH MAY BEGIN!!"
You leaned forward as you watched. Red energy forming around their wrists for the dynamax bands and you breathed. Here we go. Both held pokeballs the size of watermelons glowing red, and with incredible strength on Opal's part. Both tossed them into the air. And then came the shaking of the stadium as you held onto your seat as they appeared. Opal's alcremie as it was huge and.....and......looked like a giant decorated cake you'd find at a wedding or fancy party. Huh. Didn't remember that. On the other hand with Gloria, out came her corviknight. Her GIANT. Black. Menacing looking. Corviknight. Which gave a giant shrill cry of it's own that made your otherwise bored looking drizzilie yelp in fear and LEAP into your arms knocking you back against the seat for a moment. Not that you could really blame him really. You had bad experiences with this type of pokemon after all. And you could guess why Gloria would choose her corviknight. Raboot was most likely still affected by that poison attack from the weezing and even if he could still stand, he'd be crushed easily from being weakened. And roselia was most likely still passed out from mawile's body slamming. Corviknight would be the obvious choice since he didn't seem to be too affected by how easily he took down the togakiss and being a flying and steel type pokemon, he would be the most durable against a dynamaxed alcremie. Opal lifted her umbrella again and slammed it back down and the now dynamaxed alcremie made it's first move. You had too look away fromhow bright it was as the corviknight let out a shrill eagle like cry of pain as light enveloped it ending with a burst of stars but that big chicken was still flapping by the time you even looked back up, the wind from it's massive wings making you squint against it. It was bad enough the entire place shook as you held onto your petrified drizzilie and seat to not get knocked off. Instead more bright light danced across the sky in front of it, Hone claws. Before the thing let out a loud caw of protest as what you could only discribe as a huge pink light in the shape of a kiss mark and pink marks danced around it's head. What the- OH! That must've been alcremie's Draining Kiss move! Although unluckily for it it didn't seem to be very affective towards the bird brain. Another giant eagle cry pierced the air making your ear hurt and two black jet streams poured from it's wings. You watched as the dark jet streams poured like snakes from it's wings and in that move you had seen it use before when battling Milo encircled the poor pokemon. Encasing it with a dome of black before exploding in a blast of black. The alcremie crying out in pain as is tilted towards the ground. The pokemon went out in an explosion that sent dirt clouds flying up everywhere as it timbered glowing brightly through the dust clouds as it magically shrank down within it's own mess. You all watched with baited breath as the clouds spread out and covered the famous gym leader as well, Gloria's bird pokemon glowing a bright reddish color before beginning to shrink down until it was back to it's normal size. Normal being big enough to carry off a whole elephant. And you slammed your eyes shut at the shaking and the dirt that flew up everywhere with the gust of wind blowing it everywhere. ....You coughed and waved your hand in front of your face to swat away any left over dirt from your face as the dust clouds slowly settled on the field in front of you. Gloria was doing the same with the giant bird pokemon standing right behind her and Opal was merely standing there with a calm expression as if a giant pokemon didn't just fall over and shrink behind her...speaking of the alcremie, it was no where in sight when the dust settled other than the rubble it left behind in it's wake. Did that mean-
"FINAL ROUND OVER!! ALCREMIE WAS DETERMINED TO BE UNABLE TO CONTINUE BATTLE!! VICTORY OF THE GYM BATTLE GOES TO THE GYM CHALLENGER!!," the announcer shouted over the mic.
You sighed in relief, leaning back against your seat from all the tension that you had been feeling throughout this entire experience. Gloria and Opal in the mean time walked over and met somewhere in the middle of the field most likely talking, and you took that as your que to stand and slowly lower the lightly spooked drizzilie to the ground off your lap.
"Come on," you said starting towards the stairs as it blinked and followed you, "Let's go wait for her outside." You had made your way out of the stadium and walked the full way around the stadium towards the front of the Bellonlea gym to where the door was located and Gloria would soon walk out. And that's where you waited with your Drizzilie patiently until you turned your head at the whoosh sound of the door and smiled upon seeing the excited face of Gloria jog out excitedly. "Hey! There you are! Took you a while to get to the field."
"Hey. It's not my bloody fault," she protested with a light frown, "Opal's challenge was ta battle three of her employees n' answer questions at the same time! N' then she even asked me stuff during the battle!! I'm lucky I didn't exhaust my pokemon fully before the actual battlin' began! I swear she just does that to wear ya down before battle...OH! N' I ran inta Marnie again."
Your brows rose at that little tidbit. "Really?"
She nodded. "Yep. Ya probably didn't see 'er since you were already headed off to the entrance ta watch me."
You nodded in agreement. "Yeah. That is probably why I didn't see her leave." You then looked around with a raised brow suspiciously. Did that mean Team Yell was also around here as well? They usually weren't far behind if Marnie was involved. You hummed before turning to Gloria and pointing the way back towards the pokemon center. "Well, how about we head back to the pokemon center and get your pokemon checked out then head back to the cab?"
As much as you didn't want to ride that taxi again, you weren't too comfortable staying now that there might be Team Yell on top of that crazy man from the woods running around. Luckily Gloria was already wanting to get her pokemon checked out and it didn't take too long for you two to get to the pokemon center for her pokemon to get patched up. Thank god Nurse Joy was a miracle worker with these kind of things. It only took about ten minutes for her to heal up Gloria's pokemon and another five minutes for Gloria to comb through her rotomi boxes to add a few more pokemon she required before the two of you were able to leave the pink building and head back towards the way you two came in.
"So, do you know the way back out?," you asked glancing at Gloria. She hummed with a nod holding up her phone to you. "Good. If we run into that crazy guy again we'll have Drizzilie spray him down and make a break for it. Hopefully we won't run into him again."
"Hold on now." Both of you paused, blinking before looking behind you and low and behold right there walking slowly up towards the both of you was none other than Opal herself once again.
"Ms. Opal?," Gloria asked confused, "What are ye doin' 'ere?"
"I've got a few errands to run in Hammerlocke," she explained, "Care to join me for the journey?" Both of you blinked before looking at one another in a mix of confusion and surprise. "If you're headed for the next gym stadium you'll need to get to Hammerlocke too after all."
"Next stadium?"
"Oh right. We can take the train to Circhester from Hammerlocke!," Gloria mentioned and your mood soured a bit at the memory of Raihan hitting on you. You had to go back there??
"I surely do hope you wouldn't mind if I caught a ride back with both you young ladies. And as thanks I wouldn't mind covering the tab for the ride over there," Opal offered, "If you wouldn't mind of course."
"Are ya kiddin? With pleasure!," Gloria answered with a wide smile and nod and you sighed.
"Excellent. They say two's company after all." Two? Counting Drizzilie there was four of you taking this trip back now. She began slowly moving towards the exit herself. "Come along now. If we want to start before nightfall I suggest we leave now."
"Sure." You made to go after her but paused. "...Wait. How long will it take to get back to Hammerlocke from here?"
"Not very long with the taxi," Gloria mentioned following the older woman, "About five days and even faster if we fly one or two nights."
You groaned but followed after them. This journey just keeps getting better and better.

whatever it takes flashback self para
Growing up as a Cannon would never be easy, and Lionel Cannon was there to make sure of it. He was an intimidating man, a baron around town, and well known throughout the region for his height, his booming voice, and his temper. He had singlehandedly led the Blue Ridgidian army against the what was going to be the Second Wave - it was renamed the Crushing instead given how deftly Lionel had handled the situation.
“Again,” Lionel barked, the sound echoing across the glen. Montgomery was exhausted. He had run this drill already to collapse, but it was a birthday tradition: you run the gauntlet as many times as you are years old. And this meant that Monty had to run it twice more to complete seventeen runs.
The trial was grueling. It consisted of running laps, body weight workouts, an upstream swim,  and a tree-sit until your legs gave out (assuming it was long enough to satisfy Lionel) - plus more. Monty usually looked forward to these feats of athletic ability. It was how he proved to his father that all the work they did together was worth it. The reward for completing the gauntlet was a sparring match with Lionel himself, and Montgomery had yet to best his father. While Montgomery usually wrote it off as his father having a huge advantage (not having gone through rigorous exercise just before), Lionel insisted that it was because Monty hadn’t trained enough. One day, Monty would win.
There was only one caveat - only Montgomery was forced to do these each year. None of the other children were subject to the annual ritual. In some ways, though, Montgomery understood. Though Liliana was wild and athletic, it wasn’t the kind of work she would be expected to do. And as for Augustus, well... he wouldn’t survive even one round of the trial - much less the number he would be required to do. Even if by some fluke or miracle Auggie was able to complete the trial, there was simply no chance in heaven, hell, or the five districts that he would win against Lionel. So in a way, it was merciful not to put Augustus through the sheer embarrassment he would face.
This year felt different, though. Seventeen. This was the first year Monty was eligible for military promotion. He had been serving since enlisting at age fifteen - and truly since twelve or so, when he would run messages for officers. But with two years of military college under his belt, he could be given his first elevated rank.
There was something about this year that felt at a higher pressure. Usually completing the birthday ritual and then losing to his father felt like a completion, like a victory in its own right. But what if... what if Monty didn’t get that title? What if next year it was this and nothing else? The very thought of being so useless threatened his concentration as he dove into the river for the sixteenth time today.
Normally the cold water would snap him into concentration, but this time it only focused his mind around the future. He could see the look on Lionel’s face if he came home without a title. He could feel the ice in his father’s eyes, the disappointment palpable. It hadn’t even come to pass yet, but Monty could feel the weight of expectation sitting in his stomach. He felt it pull him down. It kept his head under the water and forced his hands to stop pulling. It almost felt like he was drowning. All he could see was the deep, dark eyes of his father - full of rage and hurt. This couldn’t be his future. It couldn’t be.
Monty’s next memory was his father, screaming in his face. “Monty?! Montgomery!!” It was pained. It was... well that couldn’t be. There wasn’t an ounce of “fear” in Lionel Cannon, so there was no way there was fear in his voice. Something hard and powerful thudded into the middle of Montgomery’s chest.
All he could taste was water. The muddy, caustic water of the creek. In an instant, Monty felt like his insides were on fire as he vomited water onto the banks. He would never be able to pinpoint how long he was there, rewatering the glen floor with the contents of his stomach.
When he had finished, his father seized him, crushing his body in his arms. Monty’s impulse was to strike out, to fight back, but his limbs wouldn’t obey his brain. They stayed limp at his side, completely devoid of energy, as Lionel - as he came to realize - hugged him. It was the first time Montgomery could remember his father doing anything resembling this.
“Montgomery Zachariah Cannon. You will never do something like that again, you understand me?” Lionel held him out at arms length to look him in the eyes. Monty had trouble focusing, but managed the energy to nod. He had no clue what he had done to elicit this response from his father, but he knew he would do anything to make his father proud. And if that meant agreeing to never again swim in the river, then he would do it. Whatever it took.

Buck had forgotten multiple times what true happiness was. Each time he thought he’d found it, it’d been ripped away from him, like an old doll from a child. He’d felt his heart get ripped apart again and again; each time getting harder to repair.
When he met Ian, he felt as if he’d finally figured out the key to his happiness.
Their meeting had been love at first sight, or it had been to Buck. Ian had won him over with a charming smile and smooth words that had found ways to repair the damage to his heartstrings. It had started by exchanging phone numbers and grew into a first date. The first date evolved into a second, then a third, before Buck blatantly stated that he was in love.
Buck had really hoped Ian had felt the same. The butterflies that had filled his stomach whenever Ian smiled, how Ian’s words were like a symphony to his ears… It was too much to handle in the best way. Once Ian admitted that he, too, had feelings for Buck, the blond felt like he was walking on air.
Unfortunately, like all good things in his life, Buck never expected it to last.
Most described their downfalls as a staircase. Buck would describe Ian’s descent like a rollercoaster. One slight tip, and everything would come crashing down.
For the first month of their relationship, nothing between them had changed. Ian still courted Buck, and Buck absorbed every loving moment like a sponge. Ian still charmed Buck with his loving smile and warm embrace, and Buck was still smitten. Then, one day, Ian yelled at him for the first time. Buck couldn’t remember what it was about, but he’d apologized profusely for whatever it was. He didn’t want to lose him. Didn’t want to lose this. He felt a pit growing in his stomach.
Things were only going to get worse, weren’t they?
Their first fight had been forever engraved in Buck’s brain. After a grueling 24-hour shift, where Bobby had decided to take the team out for breakfast, he’d come home to an angry boyfriend demanding to know why he hadn’t called. Buck had tried to explain that he didn’t think to call while having breakfast with his team after work, but Ian refused to listen. The enraged male had screamed every profanity Buck knew – and a few he didn’t – and Buck just… took it. Nodded at Ian when he was insulted.
Though the gesture was meant as one of agreement, Ian had taken it as mockery, and his reaction was to throw a water glass – which had been resting on the counter beside him – at the wall beside Buck’s head. Though the glass didn’t hit him, the shock was real. The man who had proclaimed his love for him, who had said he’d do anything to protect him, had just gotten physically aggressive.
Buck had to bite back a sob when the realization had hit; he couldn’t stay. As he turned away and grabbed the doorknob, a hand fell to his shoulder. It wasn’t filled with the aggression that had been portrayed moments ago, but soft and tender, like the Ian he’d fallen in love with. Before Buck could say anything or even turn around, apologies spilled out of Ian’s mouth like a waterfall. Murmurs of “I’m so sorry”, “Don’t leave me”, and “I’ll never do it again, I promise” had crashed into Buck like a tidal wave.
Could Ian be trusted again? Even though the red flags were waving frantically in front of him, Buck went against his better judgement and accepted the apology.
For a fleeting period after the fight, their relationship had regressed back to the beginning states. Ian was showering him with love, affection, and gifts, and Buck felt like he was on top of the world. Soon enough, however, he found himself back where he was before, and he felt trapped. Buck should have known that things would never change.
He should have known that he’d never truly be allowed to be happy.
--
Buck stretched as he hopped off the ladder truck, ready to head home after what he hoped was his last call of a 12-hour shift. “I’m beat,” he said to Eddie, nudging his friend in the ribs. “I can’t wait for my two days off. I could nap for 48 hours right now.”
“But you won’t. You owe Christopher a movie night.” Eddie grinned. “He’s been looking forward to it for days.”
“As if I’d ever let my favorite Diaz down.” Buck pulled out his phone, glancing at his missed calls. 10 missed calls from Ian. He had to realize I was on a call at some point, right?
“You all right, Buck?” At some point, Eddie had ended up behind him. “You got quiet.”
Buck held back a jump and nodded, offering a smile. “Yeah, just reading something and got lost for a sec. You know how it goes.”
“Oh, that you get lost in that thick skull of yours? Absolutely.”
The blond swatted at his best friend, laughing as he ran off into the locker room. Once he was alone, he let himself think about what the night would bring. Would Ian be angry that he was away from his phone for so long? What would Ian do if he just went to his loft instead of going to Ian’s place tonight?
Buck shook his head. He couldn’t do that. He had to go see Ian. He sent a half-assed text saying he was on his way and got changed quickly, promising himself he’d shower once he got back home. If anyone saw what was under his clothes…
“All of that smoke smell and you’re not even going to rinse off?” Chim popped up behind him, nearly causing him to have a heart attack. “You’re brave, risking your Jeep like that.”
“I just want to get home. My shower’s better anyway.” Buck forced himself to yawn. “If you wanna see my dick, just ask next time.” The blond winked.
Chimney threw his hands up over his face. “Ew, Buck, no. I don’t- gross.”
“You’re just jealous.” Buck threw his bag over his shoulder. “G’night, see you tomorrow.”
“Night, dumbass.”
--
Ian’s small house was dark, save for one light in the living room, when Buck arrived. He took a deep breath. Not always a bad sign that he was still up, but it was late, and the missed calls had him nervous. As a safety measure, Buck left his keys on the floor of his Jeep and his bag in his car. He wasn’t sure what was going to happen once he walked through that door.
Slowly and carefully, he opened the door, holding his breath. He thought he was in the clear until he heard a sharp “Evan!” from the sofa. It faced away from the door – Buck couldn’t see Ian’s face, but from the sound of his voice, it was likely filled with rage.
“Uh… hi, Ian.” He closed the door, the ‘click’ sound echoing through his head. “I’m- I’m home from work.”
“I can see that, Evan.” Ian rose from his spot. His face was slightly pink with agitation. “Why didn’t you answer my calls?
Buck raised an eyebrow. “Seriously? That’s what your mad about? I’m a firefighter, Ian. I don’t exactly have a normal schedule. I was on a call.”
“That’s not an excuse-”
“No, it’s not. It’s a reason, and a damn valid one! I can’t answer my phone on a call!”
Buck felt the fight exit him when Ian marched over and reared back, punching him in the stomach. “Don’t talk back to me!” he hissed. “You answer my calls whenever I call you! I don’t care what you’re doing!”
“Look… I’m sorry…” Buck wheezed, holding his stomach. “I just… I can’t answer the phone when I’m-”
“I said no excuses!” Ian kicked Buck in the chest, knocking him over and stepping on his chest. “I’ve done nothing but love you and you can’t even be there for me?! How dare you!”
The blond raked his hands over Ian’s leg. “P-please.” He coughed. “Please s-stop.”
The other male spat, forcing his leg away from Buck’s hands and kicking him in the side. “No wonder no one else loved you. If it wasn’t for me, you’d be all alone. You should be grateful for me!”
“I…”
“You disgust me. Get out! I don’t want to see you tonight!”
The blond struggled to his knees, his blue eyes filling with tears. “I-Ian, please…”
“I said ‘get out’!”
--
Buck’s ribs felt like they were on fire as he entered his loft – luckily, he was sure they were only bruised. It didn’t make him feel any better as he made his way up to his bed, managing only to strip himself of his pants before collapsing into his mattress, silent tears leaking down his face.
I didn’t do anything wrong.
Did I do something wrong?
I must’ve done something wrong.
I’m worthless.
The thoughts swirled around in his head as he laid there, torturing his soul. He let out a choked sob and curled into a ball, ignoring the dull pain radiating through his ribcage. Ian was right. No one else will love me. I should be grateful he puts up with me. All I needed to do was answer his call…
He pulled his phone out of his hoodie pocket, grateful he hadn’t taken it off yet. He should call Ian and apologize; maybe he could go back. Buck unlocked his phone, scrolling through his contacts, and found himself stopping at a familiar face.
Eddie.
He and Eddie talked about everything. Eddie wouldn’t judge him.
Would he?
Buck hadn’t even noticed he’d hit the call button; instead, he continued to whimper. He only noticed Eddie was on the line when he heard “-van, can you hear me? Are you okay?”
Shit. He’d woken his best friend. He really was a terrible person.
“…sorry, Eds. I didn’t mean to call you.” He coughed when pain flared in his chest. “S-sorry when I woke you.”
He hung up before he could hang onto the whisps of Eddie’s voice and curled up around his phone, letting his tears lull himself to sleep.
--
Eddie seemed to buy Buck’s excuse; even if he didn’t, he wasn’t asking Buck anymore questions. That was good enough for him.
Ian had messaged him twelve times since he’d gotten to work, but Buck hadn’t bothered to read them. He didn’t want to see if he was sending vile things to him or not; he’d rather wait it out.
At least his ribs weren’t as bad this morning.
The first few calls were run-of-the-mill; a cat in a tree, a first alarm fire, and an old man falling through a set of stairs. Luckily, the calls ended well, leaving Buck in a better mood than earlier and the team in good spirits.
“Grouchy old people are the best,” Eddie proclaimed as he jogged to catch up to Buck. “Dude’s halfway into his basement and all he can do is complain about how he has to pay to fix is stairs.”
Buck chuckled. “Wood’s expensive. To be fair, I’d complain about it, too.”
“I’d be more worried about the broken pelvis than my home repair costs.” Eddie gave Buck a friendly fist-bump to his chest.
Suddenly, white stars appeared behind his eyes, and he fell to his knees.  “Buck!”

Love Doesn't Do Encores Ch16 Battle Gym Leader Opal
Tumblr media
W-We might hit some wind turbulance or something!"
The next thing you knew was that you were jarred awake in a panic when the entire cab was shaken like some rollar coaster upon landing on some path!
Legs feeling like Jello and SO GLAD to be on ground that you almost collasped to the grassy fields below you.
There was a pause for a moment as you both looked at one another, then not a moment later footsteps approuched the door as you two looked back at it, and a man who looked to be in his early sixties and cap opened the doors to the two of you. And Gloria smiled. "Hi! Is there a Frank here?"
The man hummed looking the two of you girls over for a moment. "You're looking for Frank?" You both nodded. That'd be me yes.
As you both quickly approuched, neither wanting to acknowledge what had just happneded, you were more surprised by how they managed to find a big enough space between the tight knit trees to build it. Gloria letting go of your hand the closer you both got to the stadium and it's entance.
SLAM!! SLAM!! SLAM!! The sickening sounds echoed throughout the mostly empty stadium as you grimaced and could only watch as with a final slam the mawile stopped...it's body giving a spark every so often..before it's giant maw opened and the poor roselia fell out unconcious.
Here we go. Both held pokeballs the size of watermelons glowing red, and with incredable strength on Opal's part. You had too look away fromhow bright it was as the corviknight let out a shrill eagle like cry of pain as light enveloped it ending with a burst of stars but that big chicken was still flapping by the time you even looked back up, the wind from it's massize wings making you squint against it. It was bad enough the entire place shook as you held onto your petrified drizzilie and seat to not get knocked off. Instead more bright light danced across the sky infront of it, Hone claws.
You sighed in relief, leaning back against your seat from all the tention that you had been feeling throughout this entire experience.

The Stars Are Still Up
Tumblr media
Word Count: 669
Warnings: unprotected sex, degrading, praising, swearing, a sexual epiphany, etc
Summary: You just cannot get enough of Peter, can you?
Notes: Peter Parker x Female Reader
All characters in this story are 18+.
Something small since I haven't written about my beloved in a while.
------
Your head sunk into the sweat-stained pillow, your chest thumping harshly, your entire body shaking to the vigorous orgasm rushing throughout your veins.
You wondered how long you’ve been fucking now, you stopped counting after the fourth round.
“Don’t give up on me now, baby. You told me to fuck you till the sun rises, the moons still out.” His throbbing cock found its way inside you again, your needy pussy engulfing him with such ease.
“P-Peter! Fuck- oh!”
His thrusts didn’t stop, that impending feeling within you rushing throughout your nervous system, your brain about to go numb.
“Don’t I make you feel good? Tell me, princess. How’s my cock, huh?” Your cells felt as if they were on fire, your legs starting to ache. “So- so good! So fucking good! Keep going! Harder!” Crescent shapes stained his shoulders as you held him tightly, bucking your hips to feel him deeper within you.
You were sure you’d pass out after this, but your body wanted more. Greed was the only thing on your mind, needing Peter to milk you of all your worth.
You pushed your own limits, letting him fuck your absolute brains out. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t love every single goddamn minute of it.
He pounded that sweet pussy of yours, skin roughly slapping, the honeyed melodies of both your moans making such a delicate song that you wished the entire universe could hear.
“Such a slut, aren’t you? Can’t get enough of my cock?” His lips found that spot behind your ear, leaving love bites, “Need me to fuck you to sleep? Is that what you want?” Your narrow walls squeezed his thick length, getting a grueling moan from his soft lips, he pumped you harder than before, his tip kissing your treasured spot.
Your eyes were glued to the back of your head, incoherent mumbles dancing around you two.
“Can’t talk now? What happened to all that bitching earlier?” His thrusts got sloppy, the firm rhythms losing their balance.
“Need- need to come. Let me come. Please. Please, Petey!” Tears trailed down the sides of your face, the knot below you tightened harshly, you were seconds away from that astonishing release you begged for.
“Gonna let me feel you, Angel? Let me feel you, come on.”
One last thrust and that was it. You were completely ruined, lost in a pit of euphoria, complete bliss clouding over you, taking over your whole body, your entire state of mind.
It was refreshing, feeling that intoxicating lust, your desire being fulfilled, exceeding its limits to lengths you’ve never even dreamed about.
Peter made you feel unlike anything else in the world, he knew you better than you knew yourself. He traced your body like a work of art, knowing how and when to brush his strokes, how to completely have you melting under his scorching touch, caressing you with so much love, you believed it was too good to be true.
Yet, when he had you screaming like this, back arching tightly under his arms, his cock deep inside you, it was in times like these you had to believe it. Accept that someone like him was able to leave you in such a vulnerable state, a condition filled with much love and ecstasy. Once your epiphany had ended, you softened into his touch, relaxing in his gentle hold.
“I got you, baby, I got you.” It was as if you two were sleeping in on a cloud, engulfing each other’s nebulous presence. You felt his lips leave tiny kisses over your chest and face, practically attacking you with his affection.
“I’m so proud of you. You did such a good job, Angel. My sweet girl.”
All you could do was smile at his praises, your heart throbbing rapidly.
“Mm… I love you, Pete.”
“I love you more.”
“Impossible.”
“Possible.”
With a sparkling smile, he suddenly caught a kiss onto your sore lips, tongues dancing together.
“Think you can go again? The stars are still up.”

and it was Just Right by cinnabee | 23,759 | Katsuki spends two years post-graduation in a furious one-sided competition with his childhood friend and rival's promotional photos - until they finally run into each other, and, well. You shouldn't believe everything you see in magazines. A love story about size differences.
Notice Me, Nerd by useless_donut | 40,000 | Bakugou is in love with Midoriya. He doesn’t hide it, in fact it’s so painfully obvious that the entire class of 3-A has him figured out in a matter of months (days, in some cases). Too bad Midoriya is the most oblivious motherfucker out there, and Bakugou is too damn stubborn to actually ask him out. A love story as witnessed by the class of 3-A.
in your dreams, nerd! by sapphicflower | 37,639 | In a strange and unexpected set of circumstances, Izuku and Katsuki find themselves sharing their dreams together whenever they happen to fall asleep at the same time. Being hopelessly in love with each other, they don’t mind it all that much. What better way to spend time with your crush than in a stupidly vivid dream?
Hear Me by my_name_is_Levi | 22,419 | It wasn’t as if nightmares were uncommon for the freshman class of Yuuei. They’d seen plenty of things, heard and felt and witnessed enough travesty in their lives to last them a lifetime. But Midoriya Izuku was screaming, and no one, not even Bakugo Katsuki could ignore it.
Bridges by supercrunch | 18,018 | Bakugou is signed up for a Calvin Klein modeling gig. The thing is, they really do need the money. And Katsuki's technically the leader of this bunch of morons, so he finds himself taking the job even though his pride will never recover. And even though nobody thought to tell him that he'd be working with his ex-boyfriend. You know, the cute freckled guy from high school who went and broke his heart. So, yeah. This whole situation kind of sucks.
objective truth by mamalade | 15,390 | Izuku gets hit with a truth quirk, as one does. He seems to be handling it well—until Katsuki shows up.
catharsis by dollcewrites | 15,071 | It's been six years since Izuku graduated. It's been six years since he confessed to his childhood friend; his classmate and his inspiration. It's been six years since he deleted Bakugou's number, asked his friends not to mention the name, spent every last effort of his heart turning off the TV and averting his eyes from the newspapers. Claim Me by ScientificallySinful (VampireGaaraCheesepuffs) | 114,449 | Being an Alpha has nothing to do with Katsuki's success as a Pro-Hero, the same way Deku's Omega status hasn't kept him from becoming Number Two. Secondary gender doesn't mean anything nowadays and “mating” is an antiquated practice. So when Izuku, his rival, asks Katsuki to Claim him in the middle of the night, there is only one logical thing to say. “What the fuck?”

As Fate Would Have It by ScientificallySinful (VampireGaaraCheesepuffs) | 88,737 | Katsuki Bakugo had plenty of reasons why he wasn't mated yet, not that he was going to explain why to just anyone. But now, Ground Zero was running out of time. If he didn't find someone soon, he'd lose his position as a Pro-Hero and he'd never get to be #1. So, when he finds out there's a male Omega recently arrested for prostitution that's headed to prison if he too doesn't get a mate…well it must be fate. (Quirkless Izuku)
A/B/O – No Quirks
Gravity by warschach | 71,477 | Izuku is back in his hometown and plenty hasn't changed much from the 8 years he was gone. Except, Katsuki Bakugou, the alpha king of their small town.
