Was looking for a color reference for some TGAMM fan art when I found THIS pause moment for Todd 'Scratch' Mortenson that was getting to me. It's so hilarious and amazing at the same time.

Like, that is SUCH a Scratch face. I love it so much. Also, imagine him looking at you like that like he looks at that penny.

I know I already made a time skip design for Molly before, but I realized I wasn’t fully satisfied with it, so I changed a few things. I actually preferred the ponytail @candyheartedchy did with her own design, and I decided to make her bangs slightly messier. I also added a simple design on her t-shirt.

With the end of TOH not only capping off Disney's "loose Trilogy" with Gravity Falls, & Amphibia, it pretty much marks the end of this Golden Age of Original Children's Cartoons with Heavy syndicated storylines that started back with Adventure Time. While I don't discredit show that aren't syndicated stories or even the "brand cartoons" Like Star Wars, Transformers, or TMNT there was something magical about seeing people come up with original tales from stuff they were big fans & grew up on to create a whole era that made it cool for adults to have these theories, Excellent fanart, & to be something more then what we were used to in our youths.

I can only hope I'm wrong & one day we'll see another TOH or Steven Universe or Kipo, or Centaurworld, or Adventure Time, or Regular Show, or etc. But with recent events it leaves me less enthused. But I'll still cherish that the 2010's to the early 2020's was this marvelous & revolutionary age for TV animation.

I got bored and felt like doodling images from my TGAMM fic 'Her First Forever Friend' across the week.

Also, because I loved writing chapter 13 so much, I drew out three moments that I loved. So.... if you haven't gotten to chapter 13 yet, I'll hide the images under this 'keep reading' tag:

I just loved this chapter so much! I had to draw for it, and I really wanted to show off the sundress/french braid combo I gave Molly for the last scene!

Okay, so I was rewatching the episode "The Ghost IS Molly McGee", and the more I watched it, I realized that this had some subtle foreshadowing to how Scratch's voice was gonna sound in the finale once he rejoined with his body.

When he initially possesses Molly's body after she becomes a Wraith, his voice sounds like it usually does as a ghost. But as the episode goes on, if you listen real close, there are moments where it sounds more, for lack of a better term, grounded. Like it actually has some weight to it since it's coming out of vocal cords instead of ectoplasm.
