with the way rayllum are and how their childhoods were i can’t see them not having kids because they want them to grow up in a peaceful world and in better circumstances than they did
I think we will see Rayllum kids in a flashforward as a nod to "see, old wounds are healing," and there's a new generation that will continue the work of reparing the rift that existed between Xadia and the human kingdoms.
Little Rayllum halflings seem like the perfect metaphor for that, but maybe that's just me 😉

The situation between centaurs and halflings/humans is like, imagine some aliens went and arrived out the blue and started trying to colonize parts of the world.
The local people find weird buildings and strange creatures and instead of questioning it (weird shit happens sometimes), they notice that these strange critters  can’t fly and the folks that found them are hungry and decide to see if they taste good. And the aliens do taste good. So they start actively hunting the aliens and the critters they brought with them, figuring out how to defend themselves against the alien’s technology and destroy their traps.
Eventually the aliens no longer build the strange buildings or make the strong weapons b/c they don’t help and the best defense they have is running and all the aliens that were skilled enough to make their advanced technology got eaten.
So now the aliens live in the wilderness symbiotically with the only critters they brought that can run fast enough to get away from hunters and breed fast enough that the hunters can’t wipe them out. Now the aliens sometimes show up in villages in the middle of the night to steal trash and chickens.

For you are not daunted by words; and you have courteous speech, strange though the sound of it may be to us in the South.
strange accents do not mar fair speech, and hobbits are a fair-spoken folk.
Lest we forget that Denethor and Beregond are both reacting among other things to Pippin thou-ing everyone he meets, up to and including Denethor because the Shire dialect lost its deferential “you” XD

Just saw a YouTuber refer to hicstrid as "astriccup" and like... If you're gonna go for Astrid's name first, hiccup's second, say asscup. Don't beat around the bush, you've got a perfect ship name right there.
Ass. Cup.

AI test portraits of NPC characters from ‘The Grey Warriors,’ based on the Dungeons and Dragons module, ‘Out of the Abyss’. These were created using Midjourney on Discord. Featured are:
Prince Derendil, cursed elf prince trapped in quaggoth form (barbarian)
Eldeth Feldrun, shield dwarf fighter (her cartoon portraits crack me up!)
Fargas Rumblefoot, halfling explorer/rogue
Sarith Kzekarit, drow warrior (his close up is awesome!)
Broot, warforged juggernaut
Varan Fenhirel, half-elf ranger (the AI couldn’t figure out what to do with his hawk companion, lol)
Lucian Erenaeth, wood elf druid/ranger (I really like how the last portrait turned out, though it still needs work).

So I guess Snow White is a druid? But she's got at least one level of bard. The dwarves are all level one bards, except Dopey, who's a level one rogue, because Tolkien taught us that a party of dwarves will recruit a halfling rogue for contingencies and because he's the only one who doesn't sing or play a melodic instrument. The Huntsman is a ranger, I assume the queen is a wizard because of the reliance on books and verbal and material and arguably somatic components. The mirror dude suggests warlock but I think that's just a powerful artifact, she'd be less commanding if it were her sponsor, right? Not sure about the prince, like a lot of royals he doesn't really do anything except show riding so maybe fighter?

So here’s another oc I had in mind for awhile now, her name is Immra’h and she is the child of the youngest Zunir matriarch and Zarkon, from back when he was still a prince, long before he became the Black Paladin and met Honerva, but during this time, Galra relations with other species were rather civil, especially with the planets Altea and Helior. Zarkon and the matriarch eventually parted ways on friendly terms, neither one aware of what was to come. Immra’h was basically left in the dark of who her father was, that is until many years later and a banished Lotor sought to make alliances with the failed ones his father once had in an effort for peace and civil relations, and better treatment of half galras as war waged and his father’s conquest for control and quintessence resulted in prejudices towards Galra halflings in other societies, including their own (Lotor himself, his generals, etc). It would backfire.
The knowledge of of who their father was only motivated her further to fight for their planet and prove that she was nothing like the monster Zarkon became.
This is basically a rough idea of what Zunir and crescent sun armor would look like, heavy influence from phoenix motifs (thinking phoenixes might have significance in Zunir culture and mythos), fire nation armor, sun and fire/warm colors and motifs, samurai and medieval knight armor, and perhaps the robes in “journey”, but that might just be due to similar color scheme lol
The names ‘tails’, ‘heatseekers’, ‘and vine surfers’ are my own personal nicknames for the Zunir breeds until I come up with official names for them, tails having a common ancestor with natives of the planet Sabalta (@bananasfosterparent)
The crescent sun are an organization founded by the Zunir matriarchs and the Ziphnite royals, with the intention of preserving their planets heritages and cultures, trading, and seeking allies with other planets. However, the Ziphnite faction more or less serves the Galra in efforts to keep their planet from hostile takeover (think something similar to the deal between ants and grasshoppers in A Bug’s Life), and the Helior faction became underground resistance group.

crying because an elf prince, dwarf lord and a fucking king of men dropped everything and ran over 100 miles with barely any rest, to rescue a couple of halflings (who were worth nothing outside the shire, and functionally little more than a burden) because they were their friends.
screaming and throwing up because the golden boy of gondor, the steward's eldest son and his pride and joy; noble heir of the house of húrin, sacrificed his life for those self-same halflings

Halflings are quite literally just humans who have fire magic. They don’t call themselves halflings unless speaking a centaur language, centaurs call them halflings b/c ‘WTF that literally just half a person with weirdass arm-legs’.
Halflings also tend to be nomadic and raise/ride horses (which centaurs tend to call ‘asses’ for the same reason they call humans ‘halflings’)
A centaur looking at a human riding a horse: It? Kinda looks right? But it’s wrong.
Centaurs have an entire myth about why halflings and horses are so fucked up (TM). Less rude versions of the myth have halflings and horses descended from a centaur who got cut in half. More rude versions involve them being the descendants of a centaur who got into an argument with their butt, divorced, found out they were too fucked up to live on their own but couldn't figure out how to put themselves back together.
Humans, having their own mythologies largely have a myth about how centaurs are the descendants of an overly ambitious and gluttonous hunter who’s horse would try to keep him in check and one day got tired of that, decapitated his horse and climbed halfway down its neck to control the body and go unchecked.
Because centaurs can see into the ultraviolet range they can see that halflings have stripes. As humans can’t see ultraviolet they think the centaurs are pulling their leg about the stripe thing.
