Do you think about The Iron Bull's reaction when finding out about Solas being Fen'Harel? Because I do. A lot. He was unto something. All the "you are not flashy like the other mages" talk. Solas notices the same details that Bull does about the baker. Solas at court. Bull knew there was SOMETHING about Solas, but he never had quite the grasp on what that could be. And then he finds out what Solas has been hiding. Under his big fat ben hasserath nose. Under Leliana's web of spies. Under the whole Inquisition. AND YET Solas was his friend. Granted, he argued about the Qun way too much, but he also played chess with him when he thought his mind will go savage. He kept his mind, and sanity, in check by playing fucking chess with him. And he supported his choice to leave the Qun, to be free. So when he finds out do you think he is angry? At Solas? At himself? Do you think he blames himself for not seeing it? Do you think he wants to punch Solas? Do you think he Fears Solas? Is that still his companion, his friend even?

i wish we could get a conversation between cullen and the iron bull regarding them leaving everything they've known for the inquisition. obviously the qun and the templars are different, but they're both people walking away from a very restrictive system centered on religion and now trying to figure out who they are without that system that they have killed and done terrible things in the name of.

wakes up from a coma. i think bull’s utilitarianism and his simultaneous appreciation for useless if not outright wasteful but still fun shit is so interesting to me. dude has a million lines of dialogue about the usefulness of certain things and then five seconds later he’s like hm. i think today i will use siege weaponry to launch some nug plushies across skyhold

reaver problems :/
[Image ID: Three-panel comic about Dragon Age Inquisition. In the first panel, The Iron Bull holds a battle axe and excitedly asks “Hey Boss, can I come along to the dragon fight?”. In the second panel, male Inquisitor Lavellan says “Promise you won’t collapse after 30 seconds again?” to which Iron Bull nods and grins warmly with his eye closed. In the third frame, Iron Bull is shown lying on the ground in the “Family Guy death pose” amidst fire and his weapon. Far away in the background, three stick figures representing a mage, archer and warrior fight a fire-breathing dragon. /.End ID]

⊂Rules / Asks I Won't Answer⊃
if an ask implies discrimination of any kind from the asker i won't answer it, characters on the other hand may have questionable wording on topics.
no asks involving real life drama that could lead to controversy, only situations that exist within the show will be answered.
for the most part no shipping will be explicitly stated, but there is a chance there may be hints of things i ship. but nothing outright shown or stated.
if any of you guys start fighting in the inbox your asks will be removed. however, referencing another person's ask is fine as long as the question/comment is directed towards a character still.
no nsfw or 18+ content.
debated on ocs, but i will allow them. however, the characters will answer as if they don't know them / your oc being a minor or background character.
simping and flirting with characters is allowed, just make sure it follows the other rules.
nezha will be portrayed as an adult on this blog, if that bothers you i recommend you find another ask blog. i will not be budging on this.
i will be allowing magic asks (if not for a specified amount of asks [max. 8] than i will automatically set it to last for three asks with the characters afflicted]

U said previously you hated iron bull. Why is that? Is it because he betrays you or is it a personality thing or an appearance thing- this one I can relate to because his game model looks weird to me there’s something off about it and I don’t like his beady eyes, his cold beady little eyes staring into me. And what’s with the head to hand ratio, why is his head so small AAAAAAAAAA but yeah sorry am I alone? Am I just a bitch? You can ignore this, you can even block me. I had to get it out!

You know, as much as people complain about the limiting RPG choices in Inquisiton, I think it lends itself well to the story of inquisiton.
In Origins and 2, your character is just. Someone. They aren't really any one of note until the end of the game. Any poor, shitty moral choices made by Hawke and the Hero are done away from prying eyes. Killing Leliana, selling Fenris, none of these really immoral choices are seen by those outside your companions.
Inquisiton however, is very VERY different in this regard. The Inquisitor constantly has eyes on them; from the moment they awoke in Haven, they were someone who had an image to uphold. They are kept in check by the fact that they aren't the only one making decisions. Cullen, Leliana, Morrigan, Cassandra, they all have some kind of pull with the Inquisiton. In some regard, they have to align with their advisors, lest they risk loosing their support. It's not the protagonist alone, like it was in Origins and 2, but is instead a protagonist being a figure head to an organization, and idea that is bigger than them
While there are somewhat shitty choices in Inquisiton, I can't think of any that really scream 'pure evil', like some of the choices in Origins and 2 do. And I think it makes sense in this game, just based on who your character has to be to fit the narrative. It makes sense why you can't really kill any of your companions for no good reason, since that would reflect very poorly on the inquisiton. And while I do agree that this can be annoying for people who really wanna roleplay an evil little guy, idk I think it fits the story of inquisiton best. Sure, they could have made it to where you can make the inquisiton feared instead of respected, a name whispered in terror instead of awe, but idk, I guess they needed the inquisiton to be seen as "good". Anyways, I still do wish there were more rp options but it's interesting
