the first day of my new job was today and like 90% of it was spent driving a heavy duty golf cart and petting dogs
#the lady im working for has a dog named merle who's just the sweetest guy#she's also got a cat named parker who's also insanely sweet#her mom lives on part of her property in her own house bc they have a huge property and she has merle's brother#his name is caleb and he's wonderful too#i got to drive around the electric gator all around her property which was fun too lol. the dogs followed us a lot of the way before they -#- were taken back to the house to cool down#i did some weeding and i helped tow a tree that was chopped by beavers#OH! she also has alpacas. they're pretty cool lol#i wont be working with them much but she says that on hot days we can go in and spray them down with a mist/shower setting on the hose#they love it and it helps with the super hot summer and the flies and all that#anyways. it was cool :] i get paid like $15 an hour for doing just basic help around the farm which is a solid first job imo
