🕯 You see the Ring of Eternal Flame? Missions at a personal level AND a guild level are available to obtain the Treasure and make it shiny! The guild missions mostly act on standard guild stuff, so you’ll see your progress if you do the regular things that make you seem active in the guild.

The mastery missions, however, require you to complete missions WITH the Ring to get your rewards, including a Special 10+1 Treasure Invocation.

⚙️ This month only, if you craft a Diamond Sugar Crystal, you’ll get another one for FREE! There’s just one thing: you’ll only get your freebie from your first 3 Diamond Sugar Crystals crafted. After that, it’s all down to you to get them elsewhere or to craft them yourself. The recipe is simple and only requires 10 Gold Sugar Crystals and 45,000 Coins to craft, but the equipment requires a whole week to cool off due to intense pressure required to craft such a crystal.

In the meantime, try crafting a few other things and get some gacha keys and a Diamond Sugar Crystal in return. These formulas are gonna be the new norm, so you better get used to it.

Speaking of gacha, for the 3rd and 6th Special pulls of a specific gacha you attempt, you’ll get one more of that Special gacha key for free! Costumes not included.

🌰 Raid Quests will help you get accustomed to the concept of Raid Run and provides a backdrop to the events regarding the pursuit of Poison Mushroom Cookie being kidnapped. They’ll last for the remainder of this season and the next one, giving you until roughly a few days before New Years to complete them all. 48 days seems like a long way off…

🕯 Unfortunately, the idea of a Treasure Trial didn’t bode well with everybody and will be sunsetted with this one last event. Keep playing and you’ll get some parting gifts before they shut it down.

Raid Run Schedule & News - Mantis Season 1: 11/10 - 11/28

🔮 Due to collateral damage caused by a dubious cake baked by Birthday Cake Cookie and Pomegranate Cookie, they have found themselves in another situation and will not be able to report to Raid Runs for the rest of this season while they find their way back. Their skill levels will be reset and their skills reworked for next season. A compensation gift awaits in your inbox for that plus a leaderboard reset.

For next season, revivals will be limited to three per raid. For now, the price of the 4th revive has been set to 999,999,999 Crystals; an impossible goal to reach for everyone involved, even the biggest of whales.

🌰 The Flowers of Spring map in the Champions League has been rotated out for Strange Winded Grove. Doctor Wasabi Cookie has disabled her Combi Generator for a few days to get some information on the new map to provide the best results tailored to each individual player based on their levels. The Random Breakout Challenge has also rotated back to the City of the Millennial Tree.

Millennial Tree Cookie was also buffed! Here’s what the numbers look like at max level for his base ability:

I think my official advice for prospective tma listeners is: take seasons one, two, and four at whatever pace feels most natural to you, but if you try to burn through season three too quickly then your brain ends up feeling fried and frazzled, and if you take season five too slowly then you may feel as though you are covered in cold sludge. season three is at its best when you take it slow and really absorb all the mini arcs as you go, and season five is at its best when you go through it more like a novel and really go along with its provided pace without inserting your own beats of downtime.

okay hi! i have a really old editing tutorial from back in january that i've been linking people to, but it's pretty outdated by now. i also keep getting anons asking about the same things, which is fine, but i always have to go searching for the post explaining it, so having it all in one place will be a lot more convenient lol

i use a ☠ copy of photoshop cc 2017 to edit my screenshots, however the majority of everything i'm doing also works on photopea

photopea is an online version of photoshop that's 100% free and works very well! i can't recommend it enough, it's fantastic

first things first, you're going to need some screenshots to edit. for the sake of this tutorial i'll be working with this one of raffy:

in all honesty, gshade will do most of the work for you. of course it's not needed, but i definitely don't think i could live without it! in this screenshot i used sunset n' vinyl by nesurii

when opening the screenshot, the first thing i do is run it through 2 photoshop actions:

butter action by early-grape

smooth sharp (no topaz) by poolbrop

to add actions in photoshop go:

windows > actions > the 4 lines at the upper right corner of the newly opened window > load actions > your downloads folder > open up the .atn files!

if you're using photopea, as far as i'm aware you can't use photoshop actions, but i've found that 'filter > stylize > oil paint' and 'filter > sharpen > smart sharpen' have a very similar effect when using the right settings. try these:

i like these two actions because they smooth everything out nicely, but keep it sharp at the same time! i always run butter before i run smooth sharp, however butter may leave you with 2 layers. make sure to merge these layers before running smooth sharp to achieve the full effect.

before anything else i want to share the template that i use to make editing a lot faster. you don't need to use it but it's definitely made things a lot easier for me! it's a .psd file and will work perfectly in photopea

if you're using the template you can skip right on to the next section, as it's already cropped to the right size and has the colouring folder included. just drag your screenshot into it and resize to fit the height.

if you're not using it, crop your edited screenshot to:

1707 width x 1280 height

then adjust the colours to your liking. it always varies slightly depending on the picture but my regular process for each screenshot would be:

up the saturation by 8%

up the lightness by 3%

up the contrast by 12%

all of this can be done by looking in the 'images > adjustments' tab

you should end up with something similar to this!

if you want to add a moodlet or social interaction or anything similar, it's all the same process. what you'll need is a screenshot of it straight from the game. i just press the 'c' key to capture them! i'll be working with these two:

for the blue notification i'm going to select it using the box select tool. try to get it as exact as possible. one you have it selected

for photoshop users:

click on the 'select and mask...' option located at the top

adjust the global refinements at the side as follows:

smooth: 70 feather: 0.0px contrast: 50% shift edge: 0%

for photopea users:

go to select > modify > smooth

set it to 15

select 'ok' and press 'ctrl + c' to copy it, then 'ctrl + v' to paste it into your screenshot. adjust the size and position and you should end up with something like this:

next you want to add the transparent border around the notification. if you're using my editing template, right click on the reference notif in the layers tab and select 'copy layer style' (photopea > 'layer style > copy'). from there you can paste that layer style onto your own notif through the layers tab.

if you're not using the template, here's how to set it up on photoshop:

right click your notification layer and select 'blending options'

under styles, tick the checkboxes for stroke and drop shadow

input these settings:

on photopea, it should be more or less the same. repeat the exact same process with the social menu option, but instead of selecting it with the box select tool, use the magic select tool. in the end you should end out with this!

from here you're finished! thanks for reading! go to file and export as png

Hello travelers, guests, and visitors, I am writing this and putting this before you as an official Apology.

First of all, so we can clear the air and provide the clearest explanation of what is happening, my name is either Camila or Neptune--I go by both--and I am the main "Host"/Maintainer of this Temple--The Temple of Deified Heroes. I created this space not too long ago--a few months, maybe--to provide a space for the "lesser known" aspects of Hellenic Paganism, that you can Worship, Devote, and Work with the Greek Heroes. I was and still am new to Paganism in the public space--I have been practicing privately through my knowledge of religion and Ancient Practices for over a year at this point--but I only started looking at what is going on in the public recently (also a few months ago).

Moving on to the problem I am apologizing for. My intentions of creating this space were entirely pure--if very uneducated. I knew the role I was stepping into would be a big one--I would unconsciously become an "authority figure," simply by being the one to create this space, much less how I put myself out there--but I was ready to do my research and step into it. I wanted to use this space to both learn and teach what I love--both in my practices and in the Mythology--but, unfortunately, I could not keep my promises. I have tried many times to keep up with this space and do my duties in learning and spreading knowledge such as deep dives and providing information many probably weren't even thinking about asking, but each time I have truly and utterly failed. I will stop lying to myself now, because it's really only harming people: I cannot keep up with the promises I signed up for making this space.

Thank you to @hyakinthou-naos and @khaire-traveler along with another poster that I unfortunately did not grab before writing this for educating me on this subject--of how big of a space I am trying and failing to fill. I do not know if they were directed at me or as a collective, but the message was heard anyway. Yes, I am embarrassed and truly and utterly sorry for doing this, but I know how to admit defeat and move on. Doing anything other than making this post would be wrong of me. Their posts, to everyone out there that may want to or need to gain the same information I did, will be linked at the end of this one as resources so we may all know more going forward.

What is the future of this space now? Well, I have spent many hours thinking about this along with our Discord Server, but I have decided this Temple will stay up because, despite my failings, it did do some good to the people it was meant to provide for and maybe putting up this apology will allow people to realize what truly goes on behind the scenes of these Temples. As for myself, I will be converting to a Digital Shrine so that people may continue to come by and offer things but it will be more of my space and very much less formal. I do still want to "showcase" my Deities (for the lack of a better word), but I have realized that this is not the space for it.

Thank you, again, everyone else, for allowing me to realize the severity of my situation. I realize the role that I was trying to assume and I am now finally taking responsibility of my wrong-doings for it. I hope you all can forgive me in some capacity and I hope this post will bring education toward other people who may need it. May all our roads be amusing, pretty, or at least rewarding in the long run, and may we all move forward knowing what is going on and accepting it as we need to.

I was really not wanting to have to do this again so soon, especially while I've been spending time away from the Internet due to my poor mental health, but here we are. Peach is my wonderful, beautiful, perfect, sassy, cuddly, loving cat. She's 12 years old and exactly a month ago, we found out that she is diabetic. I love her so, so much and I will do anything I can to keep her healthy and give her a wonderful life as she enters her senior years, but unfortunately the costs of caring for a diabetic cat are more than I can afford right now.

Thanks to the AI boom, the transcription industry is drying up because if there's one thing these things are good at, it's transcribing audio files. Work has been increasingly difficult to come by, and while I've been fortunate to receive work this weekend, I won't be getting a paycheck for it for a couple of weeks, and even when I do, it absolutely has to go to my bills first and foremost and there will be no extra to put toward her cost of care. I continue to be on the hunt for jobs in my area and even had my first interview yesterday, but I haven't been lucky enough to receive an interview from any of the other places I've applied to thus far. And wouldn't you know it, but my credit card is just a hair away from maxing out.

Here's the current damage, which includes Peach's prescription food ($70), syringes ($20), and her most recent vet visit ($282), where they took her blood pressure and applied a glucometer in order to track her blood sugar levels for the next two weeks. Cats often have their diabetes go into remission, and if that happened then we would only need to maintain her diet—still expensive but far more affordable—but to get there, we need to see if this treatment is working, and that's going to take time.

I've set up a Ko-Fi goal here (a flat $400 in order to cover the PayPal fees) so you can see how much I still need to pay for her cost of care. I know that this is a miserable time to ask for donations and that we are so fatigued on giving already, but I legitimately have no choice. Until I can find work somewhere, I desperately need help.

My side quest this weekend was to check out a variety of reservoirs in central Alberta. I took a few detours to visit several reservoirs of different sizes and explore some new areas. This was Dickson Reservoir and by far the largest of the ones we saw!
