One Dress a Day Challenge
The Men of September
Blackadder II / Rowan Atkinson as Edmund, Lord Blackadder
Even though this is "just" a very funny comedy show, costume designer Annie Hardinge really gave it her all. The costumes are better and more authentic-looking than some seen in serious costume dramas. Lord Blackadder dresses all in black with touches of silver and red, which not only fits his personality but was very fashionable at the time. The snake-and-dagger design on his sleeves is really beautiful and intricate, as is the ornamentation on the cape. And he's got a proper ruff!
Note: The picture with Baldrick is actually from Blackadder's Christmas Carol, but it seems to be either the same costume or an identical one.

The Men of September
Labyrinth - Jareth (David Bowie)
Jareth has some amazing costumes. This is one of my favourites. I love the leather jacket. It fits his rock star vibe, but it has the fantastical element to it with the high collar and long tails. The leggings are...distracting, but that’s par for the course for Bowie in this movie! He wears heeled boots, which add to the androgynous touches to his look in general, and they look awesome.

The Men of September
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back / Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian
Back when the first Star Wars movie (aka A New Hope) came out, everybody figured there was just no way for a guy to be cooler than Han Solo. And then Lando Calrissian came along and said "Hold my beer." And how did he do it, you ask? It's all. in. the. cape. Honestly, the rest of the outfit is pretty basic--just a blue shirt, pants, and a rather nifty wide belt. But that cape just increases swagger by 100% all on its own. And it's lined with gold, too!
Lando's look in The Return of the Jedi is pretty great too, with the general's uniform and a longer cape. But this is his original look and it's what made him instantly iconic, so I had to go with this one.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker - Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac)
I love costumes that give me an adventurer vibe. They really went all-out on making Poe look like he was going to hang out with Indiana Jones and Rick O’Connell on his way to the rebel base, and I ain’t mad about it!
Also, shoutout to the bottom picture from The Last Jedi, because that was a good look too.
