Psalms 139:1-6 (NLT). [1] “O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. [2] You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. [3] You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. [4] You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. [5] You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. [6] Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!”
“Sunday Reflection: God’s Love for Us” By In Touch Ministries:
“God understands the depth of our brokenness, but that doesn't change His love for us.”
“If you knew every thought people had about you—or if they knew your thoughts about them—how long would those relationships last? Thankfully, God isn’t limited in this way, even though He knows everything about us, not just our thoughts (Psalm 139:4). He hears each word and sees our most private actions. And though He alone knows the full extent of our brokenness, His love for us persists like an unquenchable fire.
Acknowledging our brokenness before God changes the way we think about our own sin—and His love for us in spite of it. It causes us to grieve, not only for ourselves but also for the sins of the world. Yet we should remember Jesus didn’t just mourn sin; He conquered it. And He invites us to pursue something more than this world can offer: the greatest love of all.”

I have been cantor at one of the Sunday masses at our local Cathedral since shortly after my conversion, and today our priest pulled me aside and told me he wants me to be music coordinator for the Cathedral.
Please keep me in your prayers, that God might equip me to perform this ministry to His Glory. St. Cecilia, pray for us.

[Image Text: Please, please, please, if you even so much as glance at this post - share it for us and help us storm heaven!!! Our little girl needs a miracle and I beg any and every one of you to pray, pray, pray! Even if you don't know how to pray, please just ask God to heal Vianney’s brain. Now is the time for her miracle. We are devastated. Ever since we first found out about her diagnosis of left hemimegalencephaly, we have been praying and asking you all to pray that her right brain be spared. And you have shown up and helped us pray for this intention! All along the doctors have told us how strong and beautiful her right brain looked. However, this all changed sometime in the night between Friday and Saturday. At a time when we thought we were in the clear and were actually making plans to go home in a couple of weeks (!), something happened. The doctors can't explain it, they are looking into every avenue, as this was completely unexpected and unexplainable. She was awake. She was breathing on her own. She was moving. Shad was with her Friday night and video chatted me and I could not wait to see her the next day, finally alert! But suddenly very early that morning she took a turn and stopped responding. That's when her seizures started and they were indeed coming from the right side this time, due to whatever injury the right side sustained. They said her injury looks consistent with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy but none of her vitals ever changed and her labs have remained great. There is truly no explanation at this time. My heart is broken. I cry out to God to understand why, in this final moment, when we were so close to her recovery, did this happen? I am trusting in Him with all my might and KNOW in my heart and soul that He is loving her far greater than I, but oh man I am absolutely broken. She has lost 40-60% of function in her right brain. Even typing it out and reading it in this post is too cruel to bear. They don't expect that she is in dire life threatening circumstances yet but they also can't say that her brain won't be injured further - since we still don't have a cause. Even if she survives all of this and is able to come home, we don't yet know what kind of life our little, beautiful perfect girl will have with only 25% of her brain. At this point, the most basic expectation is that she will not be able to walk or talk along with many other difficulties. She is outside of what they can do (other than trying to prevent more damage) and is truly in God's hands now. I told our priest yesterday before we got the full news - perhaps God is giving us the most dire of circumstances to give us the most miraculous of recoveries. In a world that needs to witness a miracle more than ever, I am praying to God that He show us one now. Please, please, please, keep praying for our Vianney - that her brain is completely healed and she can defy all medical expectations. And if now is the time for a miracle, then we are asking you to also beg for the prayers of the Blessed Ulma family. Soon I will share more about this incredible family, but for now we are asking them to pray along with us for our little Vianney’s miracle!]
Please storm heaven for my friend's little girl! 🙏

Prayer for the Intercession of the Ulma Family
Almighty and eternal God,
We thank You for the testimony of the heroic love of the spouses Józef and Wiktoria with their children, who gave their lives to save persecuted Jews.
May their prayers and example support families in Christian life and help everyone to follow the true path of holiness.
Lord, if it is in accordance with Your will, kindly grant the grace for the complete healing of little Vianney, for which we are asking You through their intercession and count them among the Blessed.
Through Christ Our Lord
Amen
Our Father…, Hail Mary…, Glory Be…

actually I think the thing about being a youth leader is that 25% of it is teaching about God, 25% is playing fun games, and more than that though 50% of it is making a safe space for kids to be. not to try and make them believe, not so they'll be open or anything. just. a 100% no stakes, safe place for them to just BE. whatever else comes after that. and I don't just mean physically safe, two-adults-in-the-room-at-all-times, et cetera. I mean emotionally safe. I mean not hitting them over the head with scripture, not trying to help them feel better or any particular way. just... a no-judgment, emotionally safe place to exist as kids.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord.
1 The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.
5 Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
6 Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast.
7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise. — Psalm 36 | BRG Bible (BRG) Blue Red and Gold Letter Edition™ Copyright © 2012 BRG Bible Ministries. HOW LONG?
HOW LONG?
Habakkuk 1:1-17

HOW LONG! Oh Lord, how long more do I have to wait?
This is a common beginning of a formal complaint, as seen in Psalm 13:1-2. I don’t know about you, but I have cried that question out to the Lord in anguish many times. Habakkuk felt the same way about the situations he faced in his days, just as you and I do today.
We see situations every day that may make us ask, “Where is God?” and “Why is He not doing anything about them?” Habakkuk weepingly waited on the Lord to answer his prayer, just like many of us do daily, wondering why the Lord is not answering.
Everyone asks the question, “How long, Lord?” Christians and unbelievers alike. The question is littered throughout the Psalms, and Psalm 88, one of the most desperate psalms, begins and ends in darkness—while acknowledging the God of our salvation. Believers have repeatedly cried out to Him like this. If you are, be comforted that you are not alone. You are with other believers and saints who have gone before and are desperate to hear God.
Today’s injustice, evil, and sin appear to prosper, but not because God is indifferent—He’s not. God always has a plan but wants to partner with us in prayer. Keep praying no matter what happens and how long the answer seems in coming. Pour out your concern to God in prayer.
Habakkuk knew he had to persevere in prayer no matter the delay, distraction, or discomfort to him. We need the help of God to have strong faith to keep praying and not give up if we think our prayers are not answered right away. It’s okay to have doubts occasionally; Habakkuk had doubts too. And it’s very easy to think God is inactive, but that’s far from true. God is always working according to John 5:17.
We must keep in the word of God and not become discouraged in times of waiting and continue in prayer. We must conclude like Habakkuk that if everything normal and predictable collapsed in life and society, we would still rejoice.
Peter says in 2 Peter 3:9 that the Lord is not slow to fulfil His promise, and at some point, we reach a place where it’s painfully clear that our sense of time urgency is different from God’s. We prefer to measure time in minutes, but the Ancient of Days measures time by millennia according to 2 Peter 3:8.
God knows that He always appears slow to us because we live in an era of instant gratification, but He assures us of His word and compassion when we must wait if it seems like a long wait. We may feel like God has forgotten us sometimes or that He’s hiding from us. He knows that as He patiently works out His purposes, we will experience circumstances so difficult and confusing that we cry out in bewildered pain.
God gave us stories like Abraham and Sarah to help us see that we are not alone. Psalm 13 starts with, “How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?” Good news, the Lord is not hiding from you. He’s not purposely delaying Himself over your matter, nor is He indifferent to your cry.
It does not matter how long it takes, hold on, wait on, and keep calm and keep praying and remember what Isaiah 30:31 promises those who wait.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, strengthen and uphold me to firmly hold on to Your timing and trust You to fulfil Your promises without complaints. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Shalom,
WOMEN OF LIGHT INT’L PRAYER MIN.

Matthew 28:19-20 (NASB). “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
“Jesus’ Enduring Presence” by In Touch Ministries:
“The Savior who died for you will stay by you.”
“Life can feel like a complicated puzzle sometimes, with lots of uncertainties and challenges. But here’s the good news: Jesus tells us in today’s passage that He’s always with us, no matter what. His presence is like a reliable compass, guiding us in the right direction as we navigate the twists and turns of life.
Experiencing God’s presence isn’t just about attending church each week or being part of a monthly Bible study group; it’s a daily thing. As we consistently draw close to Him, He draws near to us (James 4:8).
If you’ve ever had a trustworthy friend who was faithful to walk with you in tough times, you know just how invaluable such companionship can be. And Jesus is the greatest and most loving friend we could ever have—guiding, comforting, and giving us strength. In His presence, we can find peace, courage, and the assurance that we’re never alone.
Take the words of Matthew 28:20 to heart. As we go through life, remember that Jesus is always there. Whether things are going well or not, in the everyday and the extraordinary moments, His presence is our constant. He’s with us always, even to the end of the age.”

Father God, in your son's name I ask you please to see to your children so that we would minister to the hurt and the suffering. That you would break me down so that I'd be made into a bold, loving, Christ-like servant.
Dear Lord, please, I don't want to keep living in the house of Mirth. I want to be useful.
In Jesus's Holy name, amen.

Heya what are your thoughts on deliverance ministry?
I ask this because I recently expressed that I’d been feeling quite low and I know I have dealt with particular mental health issues for a while. My church has never said anything more about it but someone told me the other day that I may have a demonic spirit which (yano after seeing a lot of things online tends to come up every now and then lol) but it always kinda freaks me out a bit. Anyway, this person has asked to do a deliverance kind of thing for me and I do know how it’s supposed to work but I don’t know; I guess if you or anyone here has views on this I’d love to know.
Now, are we speaking about a non-Catholic deliverance ministry, a specific exorcist ministry in the Catholic Church like Fr. Ripperger’s, a Catholic Healing Mass, the charismatic movement in the Catholic Church? Or is it laity? I could give my different opinions for each listed above. And maybe you have another in mind?
For a non Catholic ones like I see on tv, I’m very skeptical, I respectfully keep away. I’m not too sure on the charismatic movement because I’ve never been a part of it but it seems to really help some people! I’ve been to many Healing Masses and they do feel pretty good. I believe evil does exist (I have experienced a lot of real spiritual attack) and exorcists can teach us a lot of what to be aware of—— not to say be afraid of turning every corner, but rather, to know why things happen and know that God is in complete control. I listen to a variety of exorcists but I have been hooked on this recently.
Did you know that there are ministries in the Catholic Church for mental health? My diocese of Phoenix has one! It’s called Office of Mental Health Ministry. You don’t have to be in Arizona to look at the page and the resources. Check it out! Our health, whether physical, mental, or spiritual, is important because our bodies are precious temples of the Holy Spirit. Yes, even on days where we feel unworthy and broken. The Holy Spirit lovessss to dwell in you. God loves you! Not all mental illnesses means demons. We just need tender love, healing, and care.
You can do little things to help combat spiritual attack. For example, pray the Rosary, keeping on hand a blessed Green Scapular, making the sign of the cross with Holy Water, sprinkling some blessed salt around your house, wearing a medal of St. Benedict or St. Michael. The sacrament of Confession is very powerful. I suggest going if you haven’t been there in a while. Turn away from things that lead to sin…. Start in baby steps at the pace you feel comfortable with.
The devil will try many ways to make you afraid, in a goal to scare you away from God and make you hurt.
Do not be afraid. You and I are soldiers of God. We are children of light, not darkness.. so together, no matter the distance, we can help each put on the armor of God which shines even in the greatest darkness. You’ll be in my prayers! ⚔️
