Kamala Harris does want "transgender surgery on illegal aliens that are in prison", btw.
So since Trumpists are getting mad enough about the jokes to actually cite their sources, I thought I'd put the source out into my left extremist commie faggot echo chamber, too.
The claim originates from an ACLU questionnaire she filled out for her 2020 presidential candidacy, specifically this section:
She wasn't given a new questionnaire for 2024, and has stated that while her policy on some things may have changed, her values had not.
(This most likely means she moved more to the center to appease larger demographics and cut corners to reach compromises. The basic politician stuff.)
It boils down to this: If you're in prison, whether for "illegal" immigration or other crimes, you rely on the state to provide you with necessary amenities, like food and health care.
Her argument isn't "hell yeah everyone in prison should get sex changes for free".
It's "gender affirming surgery is a necessary medical procedure. If you are in the states care while this becomes necessary, the state should provide it."
If you're outraged by your tax money being used on this, consider the massive amount of people being incarcerated in for-profit prisons, on your dime. Then ask yourself if maybe a prison reform might be in order.
Worth noting: In 2015, while Attorney General, Kamala Harris actually argued against providing gender-affirming surgery to an incarcerated trans woman, claiming that HRT and psychotherapy were sufficiently covering her medical needs.
She has since obviously changed her stance and assumed responsibility. (I would like to take this moment to remind my fellow left extremist commie faggots that "willingness to learn and rethink your views" is infinitely more valuable than "perfect from the start and unwilling to listen to anyone")
Also found in the source: This image of Kamala Harris participating in the 2019 San Francisco Pride Parade, wearing what I believe to be a sequin rainbow embroidered denim jacket.
I encourage you to read the provided CNN article and the answers to the ACLU questionnaire, as they give great insight into her values.
TLDR: Based.

one thing that is fascinating to me about merrill's arc is the way narrative manages to convince a big part of the fandom that she's immature and irresponsible and overall stupid. what we know about merrill and what we actually see on screen is that she successfully avoids possession for 6 years while working closely with a demon, almost every time she participates in some magic/spirit-related discourse she acts calm and confident and has some interesting input, she actively uses her knowledge of dalish lore and tradition to reason with her keeper, and that she actually did make progress with fixing and studying an ancient long forgotten artifact no one knows particularly anything about. but then an old woman who's never been shown to be an undeniably wise and reasonable figure, a guy who got willingly possessed with no awareness of possible consequences and whose whole mindset is still deeply andrastian and a bunch of people who know nothing about magic start judging and doubting her and everyone's like. yeah. she's so fucking dumb.

Highkey so sad to see Kim's character get butchered by people who see Harry as whichever addict wronged them in their life.

when i'm writing something meta-y i like to look at what other people are saying to see if i'm forgetting a detail or something but that's impossible when it comes to joffrey because every single post is like "no he didn't even suspect for one moment that he was a bastard" oh so his clear switch up from "my uncle jaime" to "YOUR BROTHER JAIME" despite him constantly referring to tyrion, stannis, and renly as simply "uncle" means nothing of course "oh he isn't deep at all he's a cartoon villain" so the story cersei tells about robert almost killing him is completely irrelevant than, right right "joffrey isn't capable of love he's nothing but a sociopath" he literally calls out for his mommy every time he needs something my GOD

I think one of the reasons android deviancy and particularly Connor's story feels so,, familiarly queer(?) for me is that, as much as he avoids acknowledging it, he is feeling throughout the entire game. And that made me think "if he doesn't believe what he's feeling is what humans would describe as emotion, then what did he think he was feeling and how did he think that differed from human emotion?" (honestly though i imagine he was moving those kinds of thoughts to the recycle bin the moment they popped up)
but then i thought "well.. what the hell did i think i was feeling, if what i was feeling wasn't real? what did i think the 'real' experience was?" because for a long time i felt like an imposter whose queerness was imagined/made up/a misinterpretation on my part. primarily because i spent a long time detached from myself.
and while my personal experience differs from Connor's fear of his identity (though that is something many people have experienced), that irrational belief that one's own emotions aren't real or authentically derived or that they don't meet some arbitrary criteria of the 'real thing' - is something that resonates with me, and i imagine, a lot of people.

One of my favorite parts of phase 2 (and indeed one of the few moments I resonated with IDW Prowl) was when the neutrals were coming back to Cybertron and Prowl said that he refused to let Autobots be pushed aside and overruled after they were the ones who fought for freedom for 4 million years (the exact wording escapes me atm).
And I mean, that resentment still holds true even once the colonists come on bc like. As much as it's true that Cybertron's culture is fucked up, and as funny as it can be to paint Cybertronians as a bunch of weirdos who consider trying to kill someone as a common greeting not important enough to hold a grudge over.... The colonists POV kind of pissed me off a lot of times, as did the narrative tone/implications that Cybertronians are forever warlike and doomed to die by their own hands bc it just strikes me as an extremely judgemental and unsympathetic way to deal with a huge group of people with massive war PTSD and political/social tensions that were rampant even before the war?
Like, imagine living in a society rife with bigotry and discrimination where you get locked into certain occupations and social strata based on how you were born. The political tension is so bad there's a string of assassinations of politicians and leaders. The whole planet erupts into an outright war that leads (even unintentionally) to famine and chemical/biological warfare that destroys your planet. Both sides of the war are so entrenched in their pre-war sides and resentment for each other that this war lasts 4 million years and you don't even have a home planet any more. Then your home planet gets restored and a bunch of sheltered fucks come home and go "ewww why are you so violent?? You're a bunch of freaks just go live in the wilderness so that our home can belong to The Pure People Who Weren't Stupid And Evil Enough To Be Trapped In War" and then a bunch of colonists from places that know nothing about your history go "lol you people are so weird?? 🤣🤣 I don't get why y'all are fighting can't you just like, stop??? Oh okay you people are just fucked up and evil and stupid then" ((their planets are based on colonialism where their Primes wiped out the native populations btw whereas the Autobots and OP in particular fought to save organics. But that never gets brought up as a point in their favor)) as if the damage of a lifetime of war and a society that was broken even before the war can just magically go away now that the war is over.
Prowl fucking sucks but he was basically the only person that pointed out the injustice of that.
And then from then on out most of the characters from other colonies like Caminus and wherever else are going "i fucking hate you and your conflicts" w/ people like literal-nobody Slide and various Camiens getting to just sit there lecturing Optimus about how Cybertronians are too violent for their own good and how their conflicts are stupid, with only brief sympathetic moments where the Cybertronians get to be recognized as their own ppl who deserve sympathy before going right back to being lambasted.
Like I literally struggled to enjoy the story at multiple points because there was only so much I could take of the characters I knew and loved being raked over coals constantly while barely getting to defend themselves or be defended by the narrative so like. It was just fucking depressing and a little infuriating to read exRID/OP

Reading From the DC Vault: Death in the Family: Robin Lives! makes me want to say something, and it's that I'm fucking tired of reading that Bruce ruined Jason's life by making him Robin.
Firstly, Jason didn't die because he was Robin, but because Joker is a murderer who do not care about who he harms and kills. There is no way Joker wouldn't have also tortured and killed Jason Todd, son of Sheila and adopted son of Bruce Wayne, just for the fun of it. Imagine, torturing a young boy who wanted to call the cops on him to save his mother, only for her to betray him, making him cry in pain and look up for her but she never comes to help, it would be right in his alley. He does that all the time, the fact that Jason was Robin is just the cherry on top.
Secondly, Jason was ready to throw hands with Ma Gunn BEFORE he became Robin. When he realized what was going on and she was training them to be her gang members, he found a way to contact Batman and told him. When he thought Batman didn't believe him, he decided to deal with it on his own. HE WAS A VERY SMALL STARVING 12 YEARS OLD, READY TO FIGHT A GANG FOR JUSTICE. Don't fucking tell me Bruce ruined this kid, Jason was going to fight in these streets for justice with or without Batman. He probably would have died without Batman, because he was a homeless kid and in no shape or form could rivalize with harmed gang members. Let's fucking stop lying about Jason, he is a born fighter, Bruce didn't make him this way.

How many times did you burn yourself with the hot glue gun? If you didn't at all, how did you do that? I can't stop burning myself with it and it sucks, so any advice is appreciated
the video is sped up so you don't see the numerous times I just stuck my finger directly into the hot glue and went ow ow ow out of unthinking automatic habit. But it's on the heat callus of my fingers so it doesn't really hurt? I just am dumb.
Anyways the way to not burn yourself is to hold something far away from where you are applying glue, apply the glue, and then set it down and let things cool. This involves using patience, which I do not have, so instead I just stick my fingers in the molten plastic and keep working.
The smart choice is to work in phases, letting the glue cool and not trying to sculpt it with your hands.
I am maybe the wrong person to ask this question
